Fantastic stay at Flamingo Beach Mate. The apartment was very spacious, with plenty of room to relax and store luggage comfortably. The buffet breakfast had a great selection every morning, with lots of choice and good quality food. The staff were the standout feature – consistently friendly, professional and delivering customer service to a really high level throughout the stay.

Excellent overall, facilities, heated pool, breakfast. Only downside for some may be the nearby rock bar ”Harleys” (good bar & food in itself) having live show most nights from 9-11pm.

Nice clean room, nice balcony, but not the best view. The pool area was very nice with great views over the promenade and sea. However, the pool area space was quite tight with some days without any spare loungers. Staff were very friendly and courteous.

Very disappointing and absolutely not worth the money. The hotel is currently a construction site, which was never mentioned when we booked. There are building materials, tools, paint, plaster and dust everywhere, making the place feel unsafe and dirty. Large areas are unfinished, noisy and completely unlike the photos online.

Our room itself was not ready for guests. The air-conditioning wasn’t even connected, the door seal was coming off, and the general cleanliness was poor. It’s clear they are still working on the rooms, yet they continue to charge full price.

We booked this trip for our anniversary and informed the hotel in advance, hoping for a small gesture. Instead, the staff were rude, dismissive and not helpful at all. They refused to provide anything for the occasion, despite flyers in the room advertising that they offer cakes for special events.

For the price paid, this stay was extremely disappointing. The overall conditions are unsafe, unfinished and far below a four-star standard. I would not recommend staying here.

Great location, lovely staff who were really helpful. Pool area and public areas were beautiful, our room location wasn't the best, we had a 1 bedroom apartment, the bedroom had a little balcony and then you had a main balcony off the living room, our little balcony however was sort of inside and next to their office, so it seemed a little silly being there as we wouldn't use it 😂 but other rooms you could see their small balcony was outside, that was the only small downside - the location of the room. However the way our main balcony faced was great as from midday onwards we had the sun until it went down which was nice. Another small thing was the plumbing smell, occasionally the drains etc. were a bit stinky but not terrible. Breakfast had good options, the fresh juices weren't the best, that was the only let down. Being October it was relatively quiet and the pool wasn't too busy. All staff we came across were really lovely and really helpful and we had a lovely time. The views and the sunsets you get are amazing.

The review is difficult as in many ways it's a lovely complex. Pool not big but big enough, not out to early to get sun loungers and Avery on it guard removing towels left for over an hour, it's also close to the beach. But a few things keep it from being 5 star. The cleaners rumbled past our room every morning before 7. It woke us every day. The apartment was v good bar the uncomfortable pillow and the view was just a wall. There is a lovely breakfast area and breakfast offer and bar and then what can only be described as a sad evening entertainment. Why at the busy breakfast they don't advertises a singer for the evening I can't fathom. There was a lovely singer one evening and not a single person watching. We really felt for her. Need to market it. Overall we did like the place and area

Lovely place but inconsistent staff.

Every nice place in the middle of Costa Adeje. Essentially a one-bedroom apartment. It is NOT on the beach, but a short walk away. Break&ask buffet included. Parking garage available at 10 Euros per night, or you can park on the street (good luck) or find a public lot. Reception staff was inconsistent — some cordial and accommodating, others intransigent. Air conditioning broke but it took a few days to notice, then reception tried to convince us it was okay, then finally offered a different unit and comped our parking charges.

Good breakfast, clean hotel room and communal areas. Very helpful staff. We requested ground floor rooms which we were given.
However there was an issue with the drains and the smell was awful. We asked to be moved and were offered new rooms right away. Maintenance also resolved the drain issue on the same day. So overall I was very satisfied

Our stay a Flamingo was perfect. The apartment sizes were big, very clean and modern. The resort itself is very clean and modern and the location is amazing, very central to all key areas in Costa Adeje. A great place for family and kids. We will definitely be coming back.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment. Rooms are massive and plenty of room. Only thing missing was an iron but I didn’t need one so didn’t bother asking. The car park is €10 per day which can be difficult to find especially when you don’t know the area and very tight spaces. The hotel was stunning overall and great location only thing that let it down was the view from the room which was just a wall in front. Breakfast was great and good variety of foods.

Fabulous stay, loved Flamingo Beach mate

Myself and my husband stayed for 3 nights this month and absolutely loved the hotel. Rooms were beautiful, location was fab, breakfast was really nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bar downstairs is very noisy, but the music stops at 11pm so wasn’t an issue for us, but could be if you have young children. Would definitely stay again. Thanks guys

Our fault for not complaining during our 3 night stay. We had sub-basement room which had damp odour and each night we had to remove about 5 spiders.

The breakfast was cold baked beans. Or omelette which the chefs did not cook the fillings properly, just dumped it in the egg mix and folded. Raw onion needs a but of frying.

One plus, the conveyor belt toaster actually toasted the bread perfectly.

The local area had drunk people who probably rarely went abroad and had no idea how to conduct themselves. Further along the coast, the class of people improved.

Give this place a miss.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel was very clean. Hotel was very near to the front and the beach. You do need to walk down alot of steps to get to the front and the beach.
There are not enough sunbeds around the pool, a few days we couldn't get any so had to go elsewhere! We were there in November so I dread to think what it would be like in the height of summer. Also not enough parasols and shade, not everyone wants to sit in direct sun but enjoys sitting in the shade or partial shade.
You can only have breakfast, and bar snacks there is no restaurant.
Overall a good holiday would have given more stars if we could use the pool when we wanted to.

Lovely ,modern,clean apartment fully equipped for self catering.Full maid sevice every day. Good size balcony with clever pull out drying lines. Good quality shower gel and body cream ,large shower and never ran out of hot water.
First time using a salt water swimming pool and absolutely the best ever.
Short walk to beach resteraunts and shops via quite a lot of steps but can be avoided by use of nearby escalators and hotel has ramps for mobility scooters and wheelchair users.
Would highly recommend.

Very accommodating because my wife broke her foot and they gave us a ground floor room.

From the friendly welcome, the nice room (although could have done with seating, it was big enough!), huge bathroom, nice balcony, relaxing pool areas, nice breakfast to being able to arrange late check out, this was a lovely place to stay. It's a gem of a hotel made even better by the lovely staff.

An excellent choice for a vacation in Adeje area in Tenerife.
Hotel was very clean, room for five was roomy enought, the kitchen in yhe room is excellent, very well equipped and everything was clean and working.
The one minor issue we had once (a missing bed sheet) was solved by the reception in no time.
The breakfast was delicious and with very large selection of food for every taste, eve our israeli taste.
Their parking lot is located under the hotel, it is quite small. I was driving a van and it was hard to park. For normal size cars it is no issue.
The swimming pool has sea water, very clean and clear, a pleasure.
The gym is nice and clean, but not for serious body huilders. Dum-bells are 14kg max.
Each room had a porch or two, whose floor is covered in artificial grass. Very pleasant.
Overall we had a very good stay. The staff were always helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended.

This has to be one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms were modern, clean and stylish. The swimming pool area was lovely with comfortable sun beds. The breakfast has a great selection and was delicious. The staff were extremely nice, especially at reception. It is situated in a perfect area as it is so close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach.

Very nice place in a nice location.
Some Staff certainly could do with a little training though had a couple of faults one waa when we were sat eating our evening meal i was approached and he asked for the room and said i was not half board and would i go to reception to sort it out which was a little embarrassing i went to reception and they finally after a call to the manager that we were half board which i new. Could have been handled a lot better.

The breakfast was fantastic and the view even better, looking out over the beautiful terrace and Ocean every morning was a most enjoyable way to start our day. Our room had both a balcony at the front of the apartment as well as off the bedroom overlooking a park across the road. The room was big, bright and very spacious. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good and our room very quiet at night, it also allowed for walking to lots of different places to eat and engage in all the water excursions including our excellent experience with Blue Bottom Diving. We would happily return to this hotel as well as Tenerife!

Just came back from flamingo beach mate- friendly and helpful receptionist -room automatically upgraded from studio to 1 bed apt free of charge. Apt was immaculate and very large lounge,bedroom and bathroom. Food was very varied and very good quality, waiting staff and chefs all very nice. Amazing views from outside dining area and pool, beautiful sunset. Pool area was cleaned/maintained on a daily basis. All in all an amazing holiday relaxed and no entertainment staff hassling you around the pool etc. Chilled singer in the evening when having your meal was a really nice touch. Will definitely return as location, hotel facilities and staff were excellent.

Perfect for a relaxing stay

Fantastic hotel in the Costa Adeje. The apartment was huge and even had a little private garden. The apartment was quiet, even when a local bar had a karaoke night we couldn’t hear it from our room. The food in the restaurant and at the pool bar was great and very affordable. The pool was bigger than I was expecting and was a great temperature. Overall we had a really good stay and would definitely stay here if we were to visit Tenerife again.
