The property is in a great location, but the hotel is extremely dated. The food is appalling and the facilities are very poor. Staff are pleasant, other holiday makers ie the British are very rude and obnoxious. Stay away, unless you are over 90!

Lovely stay at this complex, didnt like the fact u have to pay for wifi, no kettle in the room and you need to pay deposits for 2 x remotes and payment for the safe.

This was our 2nd time at this hotel and from entering reception where a warm welcome was received to the excellent food, in choice, presentation and quality, to the clean fairly spacious rooms.... plus the lovely pool area.... everything suited our needs well The hotel was just trimming up for Christmas as we left and looked very festive. The only thing that we didnt use much was the evening entertainment which didn't seem up to much.... but there's plenty of other things to do in the area so didn't pose a problem. We will certainly be back.

This is a very friendly hotel. Comfortable spacious rooms.
Great food with an excellent menu. We really enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to return.
Twice a week towel change is inadequate. The hard dining room chairs are very uncomfortable.

Every thing was as you would hope for. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a safe, TV with the 4 main UK stations, air-conditioning in the bedroom and living room, and a small kitchen area if needed. The pool area was well maintained and umbrellas are available for 2 euros for the day. The TV and air-conditioning remote controls have a refundable deposit of 15 and 20 euros. The safe is 2 euros per day and 6 euros refundable deposit. The hotel is all-inclusive for drinks and food. The food was good but was mass produced but plenty of it. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk to the sea front. There are reasturants and bars everywhere.

It's location was excellent. However, on a couple of ocassions we found cockroaches in the room. It's to be expected as, the island is crawling with them.
We got rid of them carefully mindful of the fact that if you crush them, male and female roaches lay eggs.
Enjoyed the holiday, regardless of this. The hotel was great

We are writing to complain about our recent all-inclusive stay at Hotel Villa De Adeje Beach, Tenerife. While the hotel was in a good location and the rooms clean, our overall experience was negative due to the sub-standard comfort of the hotel and the lack of assistance to find a resolution.
We have never experienced beds this uncomfortable in a 3 star hotel. We received a bed topper to assist but that didn’t help at all. The pillows were lumpy and, as they were without liners, they were stained and smelt of stale sweat. Alongside this the sheets and towels were threadbare, holey, and in the case of the towels, disturbingly discoloured. It did not make for even one night’s decent sleep – one of the unspoken promises of a relaxing holiday.
The meals at the hotel’s restaurant were bland and consistently overcooked! If we’d have wanted flavourless, unseasoned mush, we could have stayed in England and nipped to the nearest Little Chef. Regardless of the time of day that you chose to dine, all food was at best tepid. They even had a microwave there so clearly we weren’t the first to pick up on their lack of proper buffet dining equipment (hint, it’s not a microwave).
There was also the health-hazard of the hotel generator. We were informed it was used to heat the water (clearly not the food, though) but it was perilous in its spewing of constant fumes, leaving us with sore, red eyes and sporadic cough. We didn’t even bother trying to speak to the hotel manager on this as anot

Stayed here a few times recently. Rooms have recently been refurbished adding air conditioning to the rooms. Great location and great value for money when booked as all inclusive. Only slight downside to my latest visit was the food standard has seemed to have dropped a little from good to just about acceptable. But again for the low price you pay you can’t expect fine dining. That being said, would still definitely stay there again!

Arrived at 10pm, to a smile from the reception, everything explain to us.
Food left in the fridge for us, as evening meal had finished.
Room spacious, clean, nice balcony.
Had breakfast one morning, all food hot.
We didn’t use the pool or hotel facilities as we went out everyday, but the pool area looked clean & tidy.
I can’t comment on the evening meals or entertainment.
Staff working on reception in the evenings always had a smile.
Great stay, suited our needs.
Would use this hotel again if the price was right.

nice hotel everything on your doorstep

I enjoyed my time here. The only thing g that let my overall experience down was the food.
When I booked I asked for vegan options under special requirements me this wasn't met. I had to go out to the shops to buy something suitable for meti eat. With the rising number of vegans in the UK and Tenerife being a popular holiday spot, investing in a vegan option would put another star on this lovely Villa hotel.

DUNGEON ! But hotel is in a great location!

Husband and I stayed here for 5 days... we went on some great excursions and hotel staff were really welcoming and pleasant. Wifi almost NEVER worked in our room due to us being located in what I can only describe as a dungeon. So dark and gloomy and no signal for the wifi whatsoever. Hotel entertainment was good fun too. Food was OK... not great, but was OK.

Nice pool area. Large pool was freezing but there was a smaller heated one. Plenty of sunbeds but towels not provided. Nice staff. Food was okay even though a bit repetitive. Large room with plenty of storage but only four clothes hangers. For a three star hotel we thought was excellent and would return but not in the height of summer as no air con in the room.

Walking distance to the beach and restaurants

Positive: Hotel is walking distance to the beach/playas, restaurants, san eugenio shopping centre and Aqualand. Staff are generally nice and helpful. Overall cleanliness is good.

Negative: The hotel needs a major facelift with most of its fixtures out of date. The all inclusive breakfast to dinner menu got so repetitive that me and my husband just decided to eat out after day 2. Overall quality of the hotel food is just about okay.

Situated about a 15min stroll to the beach. The pool area we found more than met our needs. The food is great and there's a varied choice. As with the drinks so you simply can't complain. The staff are very welcoming. The reception staff really went out there way to help with everything. Superb!

Very basic hotel, clean but needs improvement

We have just returned from a quick 1 week stay and although enjoyable I would not return. When booking all inclusive I do not expect to then have to consider additional costs for sun bed cushions, sun shades and cocktails. The beds were extremely hard and if it had been any hotter the lack of any air conditioning might have been a problem. The food was very much of a muchness. Some excellent evening shows other nights very poor. All in all ok but nothing to write home about a basic 3 star hotel.

The hotel is situated in one of the best areas in adeje. The room was very clean and spacious with a beautiful walk in shower.The only complaint I have is the all inclusive is finished at 10 am so you do not get the full days you pay for.

Second visit and certainly not as good as the first. Food boring and rooms and public areas looking tatty even just a year on from our first stay. Main problem is they seem to allow large groups of stags/hens book in, wasn't the case last time, and have to say we were glad to leave given the group that arrived on the last day. Staff are good and very helpful but there will be no third visit.

Went all inclusive but wish we never we stayed for four nights ate breakfast twice and had dinner once and a couple of drinks at the pool bar the reception staff were awful but the overworked bar staff were lovely. It is not a happy holiday place it is a dismal dark prison type place and we woul be out all day only popping back for showers and to sleep. I would not stay here again But the area is fab

Hotel tired looking & in need of refurbishment

The rooms are supposed to be cleaned which I understood as being also swept and wiped down daily except Fridays and Sundays but ours wasn’t, only the beds were made as they only spent a couple of minutes in the room. To make matters worse it hadn’t even been cleaned on our arrival. Bedding gets changed once per week which doesn’t include the pillow cases and towels once a week irrespective as what it says on the information sheet you are presented with on arrival. Even the towels, bed linen and table cloths in the dining room are a little thread-bare. It’s a noisy hotel with people running and shouting on corridors and slamming doors with little regard to others trying to sleep. There was drink spillages on the steps that take awhile to be cleaned up, accidents waiting to happen! A lot of the guests whilst we were there were short of the simplest of manners and for many there only concern was to see how much alcohol they could consume throughout their stay.
The positive side is that you will not starve, that’s unless you are a real fussy person and the staff are courteous and friendly considering what they have to put up with.
As a seasoned traveler (and I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels) this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, so my advice is to spend a little more and find yourself a better hotel, unless how I described it appeals to you! Bottom line…. it’s a disgrace!

In this hotel there is no double bed, No air Con,No Fans available and no help when your stuff gets stolen!

We were on the ground floor sleeping in the lounge as the sofa bed is the only reasonable sized bed for two available in the whole hotel.We had left the patio door open with the curtains closed where we slept. when we woke our mobile phone was taken from the arm of the sofa when we were sleeping we reported this to the hotel and no help was given.

I do not understand how they can expect you to sleep in a room with no air con, no fan and are not able to open doors or windows as thiefs will come in.

Great hotel close to beach and boats

Fabulous experience. It was clean; friendly; food was good (may get a bit tidous after 3 days).

The pool was clean; it was very close to everything and a taxi ride to the popular spots is between €3.80 and €7. You could walk too along coastline...it's lovely and only takes 30 min.

Let Down over Bathroom

We came just for a week and we only came with hand luggage and as you know we cannot carry Liquid in Hand Luggage...so we had to go to supermarket to buy all what we needed which I thought should have been provided by the Hotel...such a pity to be let down by something so simple...and then had to give it away cause we could,nt take it home - ridiculous in my opinion...

Beware of the basement misery

Beware when booking this hotel. We paid in advance 9 months before arrival but were still put into a room in the basement with a patio area below ground facing a wall with just a vertical view towards the sky, awful. We very nearly booked immediate flights home or re-book somewhere else. We were moved after 3 days to a room with a balcony and a view, but the holiday was already ruined. No air conditioning either.
On the plus side, the staff were very helpful and the all inclusive food was excellent. good location too .... just beware of a room on floors 1-3 ... the ground floor is actually floor 4 !

Bargain all inclusive

My wife and I stayed here (all-inc) at the beginning of November. Our apartment (806) had a lovely big curved balcony and great views.

The apartment consisted of a bedroom, lounge/kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom had plenty of power-points and a large mirror, payable safe, sufficient shelving space and hangers. The lounge had a sofa bed and coin-slot TV. Both the bedroom and lounge had doors to the balcony. There was no air conditioning but we kept the patio doors ajar when we were in the apartment and found the temperature quite comfortable. The kitchen had a fridge, oven and hob but no kettle or toaster. The bathroom had a bath/shower, toilet and bidet. There was a single soap dispenser for the bath/shower and washbasin.

We found the food at meals to be good and varied apart from the fresh fruit selection which was often only apples and oranges.

Evening entertainment was poor. The kids disco was a video, followed by a quiz (no prize), bingo (payable) and singing by the quiz/bingo man. However there were plenty of places with entertainment (acts/karaoke) nearby so we had no problem filling our evenings.

All staff (reception, bar, dining and cleaning) were helpful and friendly and we felt did a good job. We would have no hesitation in staying here again as we paid less than £60 a night for 2 people all-inclusive which more than compensated for the lack of in-house entertainment.

Friendly staff, room clean & tidy. That's the positives over with. NO aircon. Rooms sweltering. Balcony looked onto a brick wall. Deck chairs broken, pool looked big in photos but in reality was quite small. Alcoholic drinks tasted watered down, fruit juices were syrupy and didn't taste nice. Food was OK but very little choice or variety. Same stuff every day. Entertainment was disappointing! Bingo every night with mediocre entertainment to follow. Would not go back or recommend.

THIS HOTEL OFFERS GREAT VALUE, A WIDE CHOICE OF FOODS AT MEAL TIMES. ONE NEGATIVE WAS A SPANISH STAG PARTY WHO TOOK OVER THE POOL BAR MOST OF THE DAY CONSTANTLY ORDERING MULTIPLE FOOD AND DRINKS LEAVING A QUEING TIME OF OF 25 MINS FOR ORDINARY FOLK.
