Enjoyed my stay, but it seems ludicrous that to get to my room with luggage i had to get the lift from reception (3rd floor) up to 4th floor then walk halfway around the hotel to another lift to go down to the 2nd floor ( where my room is)

This was our first time in Tenerife and our first stay at the Best Jacaranda Hotel, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, every member of the staff, from the reception desk to housekeeping, was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. The front desk team answered all our questions with patience and warmth.
Special thanks to Ana at reception for her cheerful attitude, excellent support, and great advice, which truly made a difference in our stay. We also greatly appreciated Caterina, who organized our excursions and recommended wonderful places to dine; her suggestions were spot on. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and are already planning to return next year for a longer stay at this same hotel. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel in good location - only ten minute walk to the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity.
The pool areas and activities for kids are excellent.
Restaurant has good quality options at breakfast and dinner (I never tried lunch).
My room was spacious and clean - if a little dated.

Air con was decent, water pressure was good. Decent selection of TV channels in various languages.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel (3 at best!) Staff were all lovely and the hotel is very large but rooms and facilities are dated. Lots of broken tiles etc around the pools. Pool areas not cleaned very well at all. Sun beds and parasols broken. Plenty of food but average for all inclusive. Dirty lifts, broken buttons and a bit of a nightmare to navigate with young children in prams if you were on the top floor like us. Not somewhere we would return.

The restaurant had a vast choice of food with varying themes across the week. The pool bar also had a small selection of food that was ideal for children or a snack.
The beds were comfortable and made/changed daily. The pool areas were clean with enough available sunbeds for all.
The hotel could do with a coat of fresh paint and the fact we couldn't get late check out was annoying but we would still goe back.

My stay at Jaccaranda was some what disappointing . The cleanliness was not good, pool area is unsafe - very slippy, food was varied but Luke warm if not cold most of the time. Staff very friendly. The noisy was unbearable every night. People jumping in pools at midnight then shouting, parties and music very loud from rooms. Would not stay here again!

Rooms are tired and dated.
All inclusive does not include name brand alcoholic drinks or cocktails.
Half of the machines in the childrens arcade were out of order.
Table tennis equipment was faulty.
A man using a hotel key card entered my room when only my 15 year old daughter was in the room claiming that he was meant to be staying in the room, yet he had no luggage, questioned my daughter about if she was staying alone in the room. When i reported it to reception and insisted on moving rooms it took them 3 hours to change my room. Even though i pointed out that the room next door was available. Hallways are very noisy, people drinking by the pool well after midnight were very noisy, no hotel staff monitoring the situation and asking them to move on as they arent supposed to be there drinking after the bar closes at 18:30.
People from neighbouring rooms on their balconies shouting and playing music at 1:30 in the morning, I contacted reception to ask them to do something about it, the following morning a noise complaint notice addressed to my room was slipped under my door instead of the room creating the noise.
5 of our group of 12 got food posioning. The pharmacy I went to across the road told me that i was one of many people that had come in for sickness and diarrhea medication over the last 2 days. On site photographers take a lot of time with you, when you come to purchase photos they are ridiculously expensive. €57 for 7 photos on a usb stick.

super value for money

super clean and great value for money, not too busy and nice heated pool. best spot was the bar and mini-pool on the top. Food similar each day, but good and does not taste the same (often in all incl I found they used the same oil or something). Great Paella and sea food, great crisp pizza. beer delicious, all incl cocktails out of a machine and too sweet (did not like at all). Unfortunately no views onto the sea from anywhere in the hotel.

Massive hotel with several pools. One was heated and most popular. Great facilities including gym and archade with games for kids.
I had a very large room, looked more like an apartment (minus the kitchen). The only let down was the food. A bit hit and miss.

This hotel is fabulous. Great facilities with lots of pools on 2 levels to suit everyone. Dining room is large but even though it is busy, it was well run & organised. It was always immaculately clean with quality food & plentiful & well presented.
Staff were polite & although there were always visible, they kept a low profile & didn’t spoil people's holiday with 'silly rules'.

There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel although some days the room towel were a bit thin & smaller when changed but this wouldn't stop me returning in the future

good - could easily be better!

overall we enjoyed a lovely relaxing 2 weeks here.

It's a very large complex that is well apportioned so you never fell too crowded. There's plenty of space for everyone and no part gets too noisy or crowded.
Food selection is broad and there's something for everyone at all meals, but I would say that at times the quality, presentation, and temperature of dishes could be improved upon with a little more effort.
We opted for an All-inclusive package and the most disappointing part was the quality of the drinks - the wine on offer is awful (and as the cost of upgrades to reasonable standard offerings is not expensive, I don't understand why it's not given to All-inclusive as a step-up offering relative to other packages? Cocktails and some other drinks on the package were also really poor quality (who expects machine dispensed sugary cocktails on an All-inclusive package?).

All the staff throughout are wonderful, lovely, caring and friendly people - well done all!

Rooms are spacious enough - walls between rooms are only stud partition so you'll hear everything next door! We had quiet neighbours on this visit., so not an issue

It's a good location for those that enjoy walking the sea front promenade, or the shopping malls, etc.

All-in-all really good, but I wouldn't pay the extra for All-inclusive again.

The hotel itself is very well situated and very clean…fortunately we only book for breakfast!!!! On our arrival it was late in the evening so we decided to eat our main meal in the restaurant!!!! Being a 30 year professional chef I can only class all of the food as poor!!!!

Don’t think this hotel should be a 4 star?

This hotel is in a great location! Not sure what makes it have the high star rating of a 4 though. I tend to book hotels based on there star rating and not the price as it usually gives you a good indication of what sort of hotel you will be staying at. The rooms seem very outdated and certain parts of the hotel also seem a little run down. It does have real potential to be a great hotel though. I just think I had an idea of what a 4 star hotel was… but this wasn’t that. (In my opinion) I usually stay at the Princess Hotel just down the road but it was fully booked when I booked my trip at short notice, that hotel is also a 4 star but completely different in standard. The one thing I will say though, the staff were so friendly and lovely!

Well situated close to shops and beach, hotel has plenty of options for food and drink. House cocktails are very watery and not mixed very well, but you can have premium cocktails for about €3 extra if all inclusive which was a little disappointing, the pool and table tennis was also expensive. Food was great, and staff were amazing. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I’ve stayed at this property a lot over the years since 2001 and the food has always been great with lots of choice. Unfortunately this time around the food was extremely poor. I am not a fussy eater but I struggled to find anything to eat and I’m genuinely shocked at how poor the food was.
The staff on reception came across as rude and abrupt and the rooms were quite small and uncomfortable.
On a positive note, the pool areas and grounds are really nice.
I will never stay at this hotel again.

Good quality hotel, walkable distance to beach, bars and restaurants. Supermarkets and shop within a couple of minutes walk.
Costa Adeje is beautiful and worth visiting.
Only issues with hotel were (1) check in - the lady took my details but then didn’t tell me which room, where it was or give me my key - I had to ask her twice.
(2) the room I was in was next to a mechanical / maintenance room - the noise from which made it really difficult to sleep at night
(3) the room was next to main road and veranda opened up onto this rather than pool side. Meant it wasn’t worth using / sitting outside on an evening / night.

Overall though the hotel was decent and clean with friendly staff.

Pool area steps where children use needs a good clean. Toilets are not cleaned as much as they should be. English breakfast very disappointing. No English bacon or sausages. New favourite place to stay! Rebooked already!

Another fantastic stay at the Jacaranda! Room was clean and a very decent size. Staff all super friendly and accomodated to all special requests.

- massive shout out to the activity staff, mainly the two men that held the football and beach volleyball. They were so friendly and funny. Definitely made our experience so much better.

- The heated pool was lovely as in the winter months it means you can still enjoy a swim. Only pointer would be that they could do with heating one of the top pools to, to spread people out at bit as sunbed hogging is an issue and the sun seems to hit the upper deck better later in the day.

- Pool tables could use an update as ques and table cloth very old and tatty. Wish it was €1 not 2 but can't be too fussy. We just play a lot so ended up spending a fair bit on this.

Had a fantastic time and will be returning again in September! Great location with lots around and beach only 5/10 mins walk. My new favourite place to stay!

We had a lovely stay over the christmas period. The hotel was perfectly located to the main beach area and shops/restaurants. Rooms were big and overall friendly staff.

The food is average but does the job. It can get repetitive after a couple of days. Lots of choice for breakfast.

There are 6 swimming pools but only one was heated so for this time of year was a bit disappointing. People were reserving sun beds even though posters asked people not too.

Overall this is a good hotel for those wanting all inclusive drinks and breakfast. Nice pool terraces and good sized bedrooms.

The hotel does not correspond to the level of 4 stars! Not good food, no variety. There is no iron in the room! The entertainment program is terrible! If you stay at the hotel for less than 3 nights, you cannot pay extra and get \"all inclusive\"! Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel is quite old, rooms very basic but clean. Pool area nice, roof top pool nice as well, although bar could have been opened earlier (like the pool bar on the ground floor). Great selection of food.
The only frustrating thing is there are signs that it is forbidden to 'hold' loungers by the pool, however no one executes that. One day we looked out of the balcony shortly after 6am and there were plenty of loungers already 'taken'. People leave towels and come later during the day or not at all. Staff should be taking those towels away and free up space for those who really want to use loungers.

Stayed here with daughter and son for five nights in two rooms. Rooms cleaned every day and beds made which doesn’t always happen in big hotels. Staff very friendly. Our rooms were on 8th floor with views to pool but also out to sea and so we could see sunsets.

We were on B&B and generally out all day popping back early evening to change and then walked out to find dinner. Really handy for del Duque beach (10 mins walk) and lots of restaurants within 5-10 mins.

Pool area was very clean and there is a separate pool on 5th floor which tends to be adults only.

Breakfast has a good selection but can get busy. As we were eating and then going out it was ideal for us and breakfast served from 7.30 to 10.30.

Decor of hotel is outdated.

Food is not great, poor quality products/ stale. Freshly cooked meats were of poor quality as full of fat.

Check in took at least 20-25mins person, not sure if the system used is really old. Queries or any changes took so long to complete.

All inclusive upgrade is pointless, the offering is so poor. I cancelled mine soon after arriving.

Okay for a short no frills getaway.

Hotel is centrally located, near to beach and amenities with shops and restaurants nearby. For me the best part is the food at the hotel restaurant. I am very pleased to have chosen half board. Breakfast and dinner are second to none for the price. For dinners, menu slightly changes throughout the weeks— salmon, tuna, ribs, beef and plenty other seafood; Spanish cousins of course and also pizza, salad etc. Especially there are 2-3 chefs to cook for you everyday from your chosen ingredients. (Drinks at dinner will be extra charges). I also like the breakfast. Tea/coffee/fruit juice are provided at breakfast. Plenty choices to kick start my day. The restaurant itself is spacious. Many hard working staff turn the tables around very quickly. Thanks to all staff at Hotel Best Jacaranda. I’m gonna miss the place.

Loved the heated pool and the fact that the facilities were spread around the complex including a pool with a bar higher up.
Whole place was kept really clean and tidy, enough sun beds for everyone.
Staff were amazing especially when we all had to leave because of the Presidential decree to shut down the country because of Coronavirus. They kept calm and were helpful.

A break from horrible weather

This was a short break to escape the horrible February weather. The hotel is in a good position for the beach shops and restaurants. The amenities are super with four pools and a pool bar. We only had breakfast in the hotel which was okay. The dining room is rather like an office canteen and could do with some flowers, paintings to cheer it up. We would stay here again but only for a short break.

Had to stay for emergency night as flights home were cancelled.
Never again. Had to queue for 1.5 hours at reception to check in. Staff were unfriendly and quite abrupt at reception. No information offered about the hotel or amenities.

Room was clean but dark. It was classed as superior double pool view. I could see the pool but definitely not superior.
I would not want to stay for my full holiday here.

Fabulous time. Love the hotel. Super animation team - stretching and aqua-aerobics every day! Great reception staff.
Only sadness cannot go back as 13 year old counts as adult and has to have separate room 😞 would not leave him in room on own or with younger child.

We have stayed here at least 6 times and were always happy. This time we noticed the standards weren't as good. Our room was looking rather tired decor wise and the shower head needed changing. The bottom of the bath was grey compared with white sides. The room was however clean. One member of staff at check in was miserable and waved us to be checked in with someone else. No greeting or smile from Celia. The lady who checked us in however was lovely even though there was a big queue. Waiting staff at breakfast were extremely rude and barged past my husband and myself. No waiting for guests to get through areas first, just shoving past. The Jacaranda has really lost its edge.

The property is very nice and the staff did a good job and the breakfast was good
I just had breakfast I had the other meals away from the hotel but the hotel was fun and is very family oriented .
A lot of kids and the entertainment was good downstairs and at the upstairs bar but of course I mostly went out on the town
I would recommend this hotel it has everything you need and is located in a good spot for the ocean and the shops

Perfect!

Amazing time for the whole family, children, parents, and grandparents. Good location close to the beach, very good facilities within the hotel, swimmingpools, playgrounds, bars and restaurant. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Total package was very good!

Highly recommended for families! Heated pool.

Very helpful staff. Delicious varied food. Nice big rooms.
We have been offered upgrade to our family room to a suite three times its size as the shower pipe in our initial room was leaking

All in all great heated outdoor pool with separated shallow area for toddlers 10xm to 40xm deep and then a deep heated outdoor pool adjacent to the kids one.

Highly recommended for families!

Hotel Best Jacaranda is very large and ideal for families. We were not expecting there to be so many children at this time of year so this was a slight drawback, but this error was ours. Food on a couple of occasions was only warm. However, hotel was spotless, facilities excellent and the heated outdoor pool an added bonus. Rooms were large as was the balcony.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful we went full board and the food was good quality. The room was a nice size , really clean and cleaners did a great job .
The only down side was cleaning of pool area early in the morning . We had a great stay and would go again.

It was very clean and friendly, loved the roof top pool area. Our room felt a little dated, the balcony was very small with not a great view. Extensive choice of food but as always with all inclusive the quality is compromised although I have experienced a lot worse. All round good value hotel.

I spent one week at this hotel with my partner which was all inclusive.
There isn’t a bad word I could say about the hotel as it exceeded all my expectations.
The room was clean and tidy and was cleaned to a high standard daily.
The pool and gym were the facilities I used which were fantastic! Clean tidy and in great condition.
The food was also great, lots of variety which allowed me to have something different each day. A nice touch were the themed days and guitarists were playing around the tables.
I would like to thank Expedia for recommending the hotel and I would like to thank the team at jacaranda for the amazing experience.
