Wonderful wintersun retreat overlooking costa adeje. We were happy we chose to stay in this area rather than La Caleta as its buzzier, has more restaurants options and lies directly on the nicest bit of the promenade (access via 5min down/uphill walk). Hotel did not feel busy at any point, and sunloungers were plenty. Was particularly impressed by the thoughtfulness of the staff, who left a free bottle of wine in our room after a few nights with noisy neighbors next door. Only a shame that they had cordonned off an area of the garden in front of our room, which somehow limited the sea views we could have had.

This was our second stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the excellent experience we had on our first visit. We chose to return specifically because the first time we were impressed with the wide range of vegetarian options and how accommodating and attentive the staff were.
This time, however, vegetarian choices were very limited, and we did not experience the same level of care or effort from the staff. The room quality was average at best and noticeably below what we had previously. There was no turndown service, and toiletries and bottled water were not replenished during our stay.
The bathroom layout was particularly poor, especially the toilet, which was positioned directly next to the wall, making it very uncomfortable and practically unusable. We did ask to change rooms due to this issue, but the staff were not accommodating.
Breakfast was also a shambles, with the restaurant clearly short-staffed and food frequently not being replenished.
Overall, we did not feel valued or made to feel special during this stay. Despite being advertised as a 5-star hotel, based on our experience we would rate it closer to a 4-star property. This visit was disappointing compared to our first, and we would reconsider returning in the future.

We had a garden room which was very spacious, indoors and out, with a huge, comfortable bed. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The hotel grounds are immaculate, and there were always plenty of sunbeds and parasols around the pools, whatever the time of day.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic views, staff and pool areas. Made to feel special from the moment we checked in. Spacious rooms with an extremely comfortable bed. Great options for breakfast and waiter service at pool areas. No sunbed reservations which made finding a sunbed at any time of day easy. Fantastic views meant a bit of a hill to walk back up to hotel, but very cheap taxi fare if you chose not to walk it.

The room was dirty especially the bath which was full and I mean full of hair. The hot tub was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned I actually did it myself twice to be able to use it. The outside terrace was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned. Also on our welcome we weren’t offered a welcome drink like everyone else who was checking in who got one! For €300 euros for one night definitely disappointed and definitely not 5 stars standards I expected. Will not return and will review on google and trip advisor to warn people to avoid.

Had a great stay at La Plantation in May. Lovely big room and bathroom which was super clean and comfortable.
Staff were friendly and seemed happy to be there. Special mention to Lily for the great daily yoga sessions!
The food was also a real highlight with a great range of fresh salads, cheeses, bread and the cook to order fresh seafood and meats were delicious. Having a choice of king prawns, swordfish, sea bass and langoustine made the buffet worthy of 5*
.
We wanted a week of total relaxation and feeling pampered and that's what we got. Thank you La Plantation team.

One small request would be to ensure that the adult only areas and expectations for the relaxation pool zone are reinforced by all staff. During our stay it was done by the pool staff at the beginning of the stay, which was great, but not midweek. Having selected the hotel for having a separate quiet adult only area this was important to us and probably to some other guests too.
Other than that it was a fabulous experience which we hope to repeat!

Loved our stay there. Had an amazing sea view room. The only point I would raise is the music I could hear in the room every day all day due to the bar which is open until 1/1:30am daily from 8am onwards.
This impacted my sleep.
But the hotel, their restaurant, facilities were amazing.

Incredible hotel, service and grounds! From arrival drinks, taking our luggage and welcoming to our room, from daily room cleans, turn down service and room amenities such as clarins products and toiletries, everything was perfect. We were lucky enough to have a free upgrade on arrival too.

Easy and free parking! Worked out cheaper us renting a car for the stay rather than the transfers.

The service was impeccable. Attentive and friendly staff and pool service with a good selection of food and drink which were reasonably priced. Definitely deserves the 5 stars and would absolutely stay here again.

My only feedback as an area of improvement would be the cocktails (and we tried almost all of them). They looked amazing however the mixers/ juices were all very sugary and didn't taste like the traditional cocktails. The pina colada being the exception, which was fantastic!

We only had one night here as a result of the Heathrow Airport closure extending our holiday by 24 hours. From start to finish the whole experience was fantastic! We’d only booked in around 2pm via Expedia but when we arrived around an hour later our room was ready to go.

We’d accidentally booked a twin and they very generously switched us to an upgraded king room, and as we were handed a glass of Cava each we knew we’d made a good choice.

The room itself was amazing. Super comfy bed & sofa, and nice loungers and a table outside on the balcony.

Plenty of space around the pools to find somewhere to relax, and the drinks/snacks were great.

We ate at the Italian restaurant on the lower level, but the upper level seafood place buffet area looked amazing under the fairy lights. There was some live music on, created a nice atmosphere. Food wine all great, and the service we got at the restaurant was above & beyond. Lovely touch having the tiramisu made at your table! It was delicious. Very reasonable prices too which surprised us - we paid more for a far lesser experience down on Fanabe beach.

Breakfast buffet had everything you’d want & more & we arranged a late check out to hang around by the pool for the afternoon before our rearranged flight.

It was pure chance we ended up at this resort but it turned out to be an amazing way to end a week in Tenerife. Already planning a return trip!

Our first time here since COVID, it was as nice as it had been previously. There had been some nice improvements in the decor and drinks very reasonably priced. Staff were
excellent and nothing was a problem.
The only 2 observations of a negative nature, no half board allowance at the fish restaurant was a disappointment and the infrequent nature of the shuttle bus, given the fact the hotel is at the top of a hill.

The location on the SW of the island is perfect for watching a lovely sunset over La Gomera each evening. €40 taxi to/from the airport takes under 30 minutes.

We’ve stayed here twice now.
It’s an ideal place to stay for a few quiet days of relaxing in the sun by one of the pools. There are beaches not far off, but the hotel is on a hill, so the walk can be hard work in hot weather, although the hotel does offer a shuttle service.
The rooms a lovely, although old fashioned, but very clean and comfortable - excellent comfortable beds.
Also terrific buffet breakfasts to be enjoyed alfresco and I’d recommend half board as the evening meal (also a buffet) is worth having.
We will return!

Very nice hotel, lovely sunbathing spaces and pools, attentive friendly staff. Our slight negatives, our side view balcony room had a solid wall to the balcony so when sat down or on sunbed on balcony there was little view to be had. We got food cooking smells early morning from the kitchen , they were preparing breakfast foods, there was little evening entertainment apart from musicians playing in the evening buffet. Walk into town and seafront easy going down hill but more taxing on the return journey uphill. They did have a free shuttle both ways so we booked the return journey three times which was free of charge. Overall a very nice hotel we would happily stay again.

it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Check-in was seamless, and I was greeted with a warm smile and a refreshing welcome drink. We were also upgraded.

We had a lovely 8 days here. The staff were excellent, starting with a lovely welcome. Our room was lovely, beds comfortable and the room, indeed the hotel generally was kept spotlessly clean!
It’s not near any restaurants though, which is something to keep in mind if that’s what you’re considering. We ended up paying for the buffet every evening, which turned out to be a good option - lots of choice.
There are multiple pools to lounge about and plenty of sun beds. There is a cafe/bar service on hand all day around the pools and the food is of high quality.
The breakfast, also a buffet, is served in the same place as dinner, which is on a terrace with fabulous views over the pools and palm trees of the hotel, and beyond to the sea and distant La Gomera. It’s a beautiful way to have a meal and a great place to watch the sun set!
We had a glorious 8 days there, which is possibly a bit long in one place for us, but we would stay again!

We stayed here in September due to our original holiday falling through.
We know Costa Adeje really well but this hotel was never on my radar.
It’s an absolutely stunning hotel, with really pretty grounds. It’s extremely chilled and peaceful.
What I would say is there isn’t much for children to do, that wasn’t an issue for us and we only saw 3 children there in our weeks stay. But the hotel I would say is more for couples.
We only stayed B&B so can’t comment too much on the food side of the stay. The breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice.
We would go back to this hotel.

We stayed at the Vinci for 1 week in middle of July in one of the garden rooms ( 728 ) first impressions of the hotel when you arrive at the reception area are good, greeted with smiles, and a glass of cava, our room wasn’t ready till 3pm, so we had a wander around the pool, clean , well kept, with plenty of sunbeds, ( no one reserves beds ) we wore half board, the food was ok, nothing spectacular, excellent service from ALL staff. Be aware that this hotel is on a steep hill, and away from main Costa Adeje, it’s a pleasant walk down there along see front, but we always got taxi back ( €5 ) Evenings nothing to do, no shows, only music in dining room. Would we go back?…absolutely.

The staff at the Vincci were truly amazing, always helpful, positively wanting to make your stay perfect.
The number of pools (6) set in a landscaped enclosure meant you were never over crowded and are enjoyable queit space. The apartment with roof top solarium which we had was a great size, very private and the hot tub with seaviews was very romantic.
Downsides: the hotel looks tired in places, with lights out cracked tiles on stairs. Food was good, but disappointingly not amazing. Hotel a good walk from beach, with step hill to tackle, so need to be fit or get a transfer.

Beautiful hotel with the most friendly staff. We’ve been twice before, but this visit I decided to take a solo trip for myself as a treat. I was made to feel so welcome. I forgot to add when I booked a request for vegan soya yogurt. I asked the breakfast manager who ordered some in for the duration of my stay, it was no bother for them. I can’t fault this hotel, it’s relaxing and luxurious without feeling uptight. Cannot wait for our next stay here again.

Property was clean and staff were so friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much of an ask for us. The concierge staff helped booked excursions, grab taxis and always did things with a smile on their face. Olivier at reception was so funny and always made us laugh and feel at home, he was one of our favourite people, thank you so much for making our stay so special.

Bar staff were lovely too, and the cocktails they made a great! Best cosmo I’ve had in a long time.

Breakfast was a HUGE range. Fresh pancakes made for you, big buffet to choose from. All round brill experience.

We stayed in a villa with a hydro tub. Beautiful views and the villa was gorgeous. Housekeeping kept the place very clean and room service was prompt.

I’d really recommend this place as a relaxing place to stay, and if you want a bit of peace then you would be good to book here.

If you want to be in the action, there are closer hotels by the beach, but we didn’t mind waking the 5 -10 mins it takes to walk down. Taxis are cheap too if you want to go further afield

A superb hotel

This is a fantastic hotel. All the staff were professional and kind and went above and beyond.
The food was excellent in all the restaurants and we enjoyed evening drinks in the lovely bar.
Yoga and Pilates with Francesca and Isabel were a perfect start to the day. Excellent classes.

The best service I have ever had in a hotel.
Starting from the welcome to the hotel, the gentlemen greeting us took our car to the parking and offered to take our bags to the room, then we got offered a glass of champagne and we were taken to our room.

The staff in the breakfast and pool area where so attentive and making sure to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They always greeted us with big smiles.

We took this trip to celebrate my husbands birthday and I did not mention anything about it but I guess they saw it in the passport and made my husbands day extra special with a surprise cake and champagne with a note in our room.

Talking about the room, if you are still trying to decide if you should book the Villa, please do not hesitate. It was definitely the best decision we made. The views were amazing and we had the opportunity to use the jacuzzi though the stay, beautiful sunsets in the jacuzzi 😍

We will definitely be back to Vincci Selección La Plantación del Sur!

The property itself was gorgeous. The cleaning staff at the resort were amazing.

The reduction in stars is due to the check in process and the lady that checked us in. She was so concerned that the suite we were in was being occupied by two people instead of just one, even though I provided proof that I booked for two. She made us feel very uncomfortable. The bell staff brought us a glass of champagne each while the lady was hassling us over the reservation and never brought the glasses of champagne back after being asked to wait until after we completed check in.

After the check in debacle, we toured the facility. When we inquired about the restaurant’s hours of operation, we again were treated rudely by the restaurant staff because we were not dressed formally. After over 24 hours of airline travel (with connections), I felt that the treatment was uncalled for by the restaurant’s staff. I refused to eat in the property’s restaurants because of the treatment we received the first night after check in.

The breakfast selection was very good and the orange juice was delicious.

First impressions at the entrance was, this doesn’t look 5* and in truth it wasn’t. The guy greeting us was very nice and really helpful if anything was 5* it was him. I found the hotel looked grand but tired. Very big comfortable bed room was clean but still old and tired feeling. Went to the pool with my 3 year old daughter and found very little space to move around with so many full sound beds packed way too close together. The pools were ok at best, the sides were not anti slip so my daughter slipped at least 5 times which made me decide to change hotels the day after because a 3 year old wants to stay in the pool all day and get in and out, I found it too dangerous to relax. The buffet for dinner looked mediocre so I took the option of the steak house, it was very nice and reasonably priced. Entertainment at night was terrible as there was a less than average singer who packed up quite early and no entertainment for kids. 5/10

The staff were incredibly helpful. There was a small issue on our first day but Luz and Petra were amazing and resolved any such further issues. They both went above and beyond to ensure we were happy even though we only had a very short 2 nights stay. We are hoping to rebook for longer in December.

Staff are all super friendly, food is very good and the facilities are excellent, such as pool areas, gym etc. special mention goes to the sisters running the kids club, the kids adore them, and the activities they run are varied and entertaining for the kids. The adult only pool was too warm and children used it when they shouldn’t have. The buffet was uninspiring. The fish restaurant had no ambience and a poor menu. The meat restaurant was lacking customers , had a better menu but no specials and the same menu all week. At lunch it was excellent.

The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The hotel is concentrating on half board customers using the buffet. It would be nice if they ramped up their evening restaurants and then encouraged more people to use them. Booking the restaurant was clunky going back to reception. There were always spare tables and yet you could be put forward from the time you wished to book.

Just returned from an excellent weeks stay. The entire hotel is of a very high standard and exceptionally relaxing. Good pool areas and poolside dining. In our experience all the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was spacious and had excellent sea views. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were heaven. Buffet food was themed everyday and there was a wide variety of choice. We tried the Meat Grill restaurant for a change (half price for half board guests) however it was a little disappointing. Overall an excellent hotel and I would certainly recommend it for a quiet relaxing holiday.

Just beware that it is situated on a quite a steep hill so going for a gentle stroll could be a challenge if you’ve got any mobility issues.

The property is nice, the staff was very nice (with one exception), and the overall experience is something I would recommend. Special recognition to the hostess, servers, and staff in the kitchen, fab service! The only downside - is the lifeguard on duty - such a mixed message from him, and such an inconvenience. He kept on insisting kids can not use floaties (or balls that the hotel shop sells!) in the heated pool, and kept on saying they can do it in the kid's pool (which was cold), also during the daily workouts from around 11 AM, he kept on asking people to move around, while ignoring his main job which was to make sure everyone is safe. During the workout, I was in the pool next to the one with people jumping and kicking, and was called out that it is adults only (we were the only two people in the pool - I and my 20-month-old baby)! I did try to have a conversation with him stating that while I appreciate good rules and safety I will not put my child in a cold pool. I am not sure if he understood my constructive feedback.
