NO! Do not stay here! The place was so disgusting, I think i should get vaccinated and tested for hep once i return home. The only good thing was Liz who checked me out. She seemed truly concerned with the condition of the room. (New management company) The floors were so stained and sticky that I couldn't be barefoot. The bathroom had something running down the walls under the toilet. I COULD GO ON AND ON WITH HOW GROSS AND UNHEALTHY the ROOM WAS! Expedia, please do not offer this prperty until they get their act together!

We booked ocean front, assuming there would be a balcony. No you could kind of see the ocean from the very far corner of the room out a window. Couldn’t get an upgrade even if we paid. The hotel was old and out dated. We went three days w out our room serviced. We booked a couples massage for my partners birthday. We spoke on the phone for a few minutes asking multiple questions, talking about the condition of my back. Waited from Friday until Tuesday for the appointments, just for them to only have one. So they did both in the time of one. Completely half assed.

There’s a sign that says happy hour daily from 10-12 and then also during the pm maybe 4-6? Went down the next morning for the 10-12 happy hour, they no longer do it.

Laundry services? Did a load of laundry no where on site could give you quarters to help you get your clothes dry. Not the front desk, not the bar, no where. Had to dry our clothes in the room.

More than half of the times that we asked for pool towels they were out.

They have a dining hall that supposedly had coffee, juice etc 24 hours. There was never any cream for the offer and the on was always out.

The restaurant located in the restaurant doesn’t open until like 5 or 6 pm.

Tanning advertised on the web site? Never opened. We checked almost daily at all different hours of the day.
The sign on the door w the hours was from 2024.

The whole website and every piece of information around the hotel was a scam.

Property was ok. Looked to be in middle of renovation, which is needed. Pictures of rooms and hotel itself were not as appeared on websites. Disappointing when we arrived. Lack of amenities, no chairs to sit on terrace that was an “upgrade” from the original room we purchased. No microwave in room. No bathrooms in lobby or next to pool for guests to use. Breakfast included is cereal and toast. Anything else is an upgrade to pay for. Only positive is right next to ocean for beautiful sunrise views.

The partial oceanview room is literally a little peek of the ocean..not worth the extra money. The breakfast is horrible you get toast and cereals. The staff was friendly and helpful. The door to our room didnt close right so we had to slam it going and coming.

Room was clean but hotel very old and not updated. The first day there was No toilet paper in the restroom I had to call twice and wait more than 1 hour. Bath is peeling, shower head clogged with limescale. Had a room with a balcony and ocean view but balcony door doesn’t close properly (too old and twisted) so you hear everything going outside very hard to sleep . Breakfast is very poor: toast, milk and cereals, cheese slices and salami, and juices. For eggs or omelette you have to pay extra. Wifi signal poor and intermittent all over the place. Service room people are kind .

Our stay was for 4 nights and overall we had a great time and experience here. The pool is great plenty of chairs - sun and patio.The beach was great right out the gate and on the beach you will be. Continental breakfast was okay, I ordered from the menu - offering omlettes, eggs, bacon,ect. For a reasonable price. Rooms are okay, so if you are looking for luxury Ritz this is not for you, rooms are a bit outdated like most hotels in Miami Beach. We had a partial oceanview and it was a beautiful view. The staff was nice and Martin was great at checkin and throughout the stay. I would stay here again and would recommend. There are plenty of places to dine, with a Walgreens at the corner and Publix about a block away. The Collins Express free trolley stop down the street takes you down to Lincoln Ave.

Very affordable and access to beach and the pool we’re fantastic. That being said, the property needs major repairs. I had 2 rooms and 1 had a leak in the bathroom floor. Luckily only has 1 night in that room. Lucas, at the beach was very helpful!

Room was old, outdated, smelt of mold and seemed in disrepair. All the light bulbs were different colors or shades, toilet was alway running and the taps never closed properly. Shower only had hot water, just one temperature, hot. Sheets had holes and tears in them and it was never guaranteed that you room would be serviced even if you had requested it placed the sign on your door handle

So the breakfast is very very poor you only have break cheese and coffee no fruit no nothing
No more orange juice by 8.30am and they didn’t add more for the next morning
Wi fi is terrible only going to work for few minutes that’s it
Staff don’t really care much we came early at 2pm and we’re ready to wait until 4 time the room was supposed to be ready they were supposed to call us we were by the pool room was ready at 5pm we never got call we had to ask several times

I think the building overall just needs an update but overall my stay was great and i would be back again. Pool was clean… drinks were great. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Being right on the beach with chairs and umbrella was perfect! Food and drinks from the bar/restaurant on site were tasty.

Breakfast was minimal but I expected that from reading their website and any free breakfast in this area is rare.

The hotel needs some updates and renovations. It’s an old building and it’s showing.

Lots of great nearby walkable food options! In remodeled tower so pretty nice and definitely a older hotel with a moderate favelift. Pool area and beach access great.

Check in was awful. We waited 5 hours for our room to get clean. The elevator kept braking down. We had to take the stairs but otherwise we had a beautiful oceanview and the beach was 5 mins away. We met Andres the bartender and made our stay so much better. We would come back again.

Do not stay here. The check-in process was a nightmare because they “overbooked” the room. After a long and exhausting day of flying, we were left waiting in the lobby for over an hour with no clear solution.

During that time, I was on the phone with Expedia for an entire hour while their agent tried to find us another hotel. Interestingly, a room “miraculously” became available only after Expedia stepped in and started looking for alternative accommodations for us. That was extremely frustrating and made the situation feel poorly handled.

Once we finally got into the room, the AC wasn’t working. We called maintenance, but they couldn’t fix it — instead, they brought us a fan. In a warm climate, that’s simply not acceptable.

I also tried calling the hotel multiple times before and during our stay, and the phone number doesn’t even work. No one answers. A hotel should have a functioning phone line and staff available to take calls.

Overall, the experience was exhausting, disappointing, and unprofessional.

The rooms are outdated. Plug ins didn’t work, lights would flicker in the bathroom, bedside lamp wouldn’t work. Pictures online are VERY deceiving! Staff was rude and didn’t know much if you asked a question. Only 1 elevator worked and stopped at every single floor before taking you down to lobby. There’s no parking close, and valet parking is at the hotel next door.

I never got to check in. The lobby was full of guests without room assignments. Front desk people were arguing and cursing with guests. It was a scary scene. After waiting 2 hours for a room I decided to leave and found another hotel. When I called Expedia to receive a refund the hotel actually tried to say I never showed up. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I'll give it credit for nice lobby area and pool but the room could definitely use upgrades also they have two elevators but only one was working and that one is as slow as molasses in January in Canada.
Also says they have breakfast, if anybody likes to eat in a room with the smell of burnt food ( and the smoke you could see all over the lobby ) I'd say this would be the place to go.
If they would upgrade their services and rooms it could be a very nice place to stay , just remember the pictures always look better than the actual thing.

The airconditioning did not work. The regrigerator did not work. The wifi did not work. The balcony reeked of pot. The room smelled odd. There was only 1 towel upon entering the room. The hutch for our clothing had drawers that did not close.

We left before staying the night and booked elsewhere.

After reading all the reviews i was terrified. Is someone going to break into my room in the middle of the night? Are the rooms terrible? Do they never clean the rooms? Etc… for a three star hotel the place was very good. Location is top notch. The walking area between beach and hotel top notch. The pool area was actually huge and very impressive. All new umbrellas and chairs. The lobby was massive and had two pool tables and other games for the kiddos. The breakfast was totally fine just pay the extra few bucks and upgrade and keep it moving. Walking distance you have a Walgreens , Publix and all types of affordable restaurants ( Cuban, Brazilian, Peruvian , etc). If your looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel then you have to be willing to
Pay 4/5 star prices. If you want a great bang for your buck this 3 star hotel is very good. Will be coming back again!

Very outdated hotel with slow and unresponsive staff. Room doors are difficult to open and close and often require force. Cleanliness needs improvement. The room didn't have any dressers!! we asked for a luggage rack and never received one. I used the refrigerator to put my luggage on and my husband had to leave his on the floor. They don't have coffee makers or microwaves in the rooms. They only have two elevators and one wasn't working and on a later date the other one wasn't working and guest had to use the stairs,our room was on the 9th floor

Awful experience can’t express how much it ruined my vacation. Elevators were broken down no one to check me bring family’s suit cases down from the 9th floor. Fridge in room froze everything no matter what setting it was on, never answers phones front desk, out of everything during breakfast..when asked who’s gonna help me bring down everything with my child the morning of check out the guy smiled and laughed and said “since the elevator is broken someone probably is going to call out sorry “. Beach accessible yes, but NO beach staff.
Had to hunt for chair & umbrellas & carrying them thru sand, down beach other had lounge chairs lined up neatly with umbrellas out at dawn to see sun rise,, Not at this hotel that advertised beach staff& assistance with lounge chairs.
Continual breakfast terrible,,,had to pay for eggs, muffins, meat, did not even have bagels with cream cheese, had to pay for that, I have always eaten at continental breakfast with bagels,muffins, doughnuts, etc!

Beach front and access to beach were great and the pool area was fine but be better if the pool was heated. I believe they were short staffed when we arrived as they were still cleaning rooms and we had to wait a half hour after our check in time that was 4pm. Not a deal breaker to give a bad review. I think it was a great room with lots to do around the area and beach front was a plus. I would definitely go back.

Location was perfect. The balcony rooms are nice, the view is stunning. Don’t have any expectations. Very obvious old hotel. David at the beach went above and beyond. Running around the beach making sure everyone had the set up they wanted at the beach. Checked in if we needed any drink/food orders. Rare to see that sort of customer service these days!

This is a pretty big hotel, 1 person working, felt so bad for him. There was at least 10 ppl in line at all times, trying to check in or ask a question. It was very frustrating. When checkong in everyone was told the rooms where not ready, still need cleaned. No problem, we can drop our bags and go on about day visiting Miami. Not so simple. A very old woman came and try to direct customers where to put the luggage. It was a very small closet, trying to cram about 30 suitcase in there. No organization. No staff. It looks like it once was a very nice hotel but there is no staff, so common areas are DIRTY! CARPETS LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVEN'T BEEN VACUUMED IN A LOND TIME. FURNITURE OLD AND WORN. THE HOTEL ISNT WELCOMING, HARD TO FIND ANYTHING TO DRINK, NO SHOP, NOT EVEN A HYDRATION STATION AT THE DESK. LISTING HAS FREE BREAKFAST. THAT IS HALF TRUE. YOU CAN HAVE CEREALS AND TOAST FOR FREE THE REST IS A CHARGE. SHEETS WEAR DIRTY AND STAINED, LOOKED LIKE THEY HADNT BEEN CHANGED FROM LAST PEOPLE. ASKING FOR REPLACEMENTS OR ANYTHING FOR THE ROOM WAS MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, TOOK HOURS TO ARRIVE. THERE WAS AN ENORMOUS ROACH IN MY FRIENDS BATHROOM. ONLY 1 WORKING OLD AND ALOW ELEVATOR FOR MANY, MANY FLOORS. TOOK THE STAIRS WAS LIKE TAKING YOUR CHANCE GOING DOWN A DARK ALLY, SMELLING OF URINE, TRASH EVERYWHERE, ANIMAL DROPPINGS

This is an older hotel from 1947 but it has a great pool and good location for the price. There breakfast is good and affordable the continental breakfast is ok. There furniture is outdated but there putting in new furniture in hotel and updating. I recommend if your trying to save money. The other hotels in area are pretty expensive.

I would give this hotel a 0 if I could! Check in was extremely slow, only 1 elevator working, Free breakfast was a joke, very under staffed, no vending machines and to top it off I had a cockroach come out of the sink when brushing my teeth and they just said they will have housekeeping look at it. The only good part was the pool and it is beachfront. I would not recommend this place to my dogs.

Went three days before housekeeping visited the room for upkeep, and even then they only did so because I requested it twice; elevator was out of service the entire stay; no Wifi in the room, and the guy at the desk just kept insisting it was working I should try again - but it never worked. A shame that it's run and maintained so poorly because it's a nice historic old building, good location, lovely pool area - but just not kept up and the staff are completely overwhelmed and unable to help with anything.

We had airfare cancellations that prevented us going on our trip. We had a non refundable three day stay and understood that. However, the manager Raoul agreed that we would only be charged for the first night and agreed to refund two of nights, but would need to be done through Expedia for the refund. I contacted Expedia and they said they would just need to verify with the manager the refund before issuing. The manager never answered Expedia phone calls or emails to verify, so they never refunded. My father and stepmom had a horrible experience even though they got to actually stay at the hotel. They did not honor their Expedia reservation and gave them a room initially in the non renovated section which they refused to stay in because it was so bad! They finally got their room changed to what they actually booked the following day, only after having to visit the front desk multiple times and complaining, hence ruining their vacation. The hotel never answers phone calls even from guests staying inside the hotel. The only way my step mom got a resolution was to go to the front desk and hand over her phone to the front desk to talk to Expedia. Unacceptable!

Checking counter only has one person so had to wait for long time. Room was clean the view was GREAT!! Many restaurants are very close. Private beach with pool was amazing. Breakfast option could be better atleast eggs must be added. The elevator required an urgent need for upgrade. But overall the stay was comfortable

Entire floor and my room was musty and smelled gross. I booked conjoined rooms with Expedia and confirmed with the hotel but they didn’t give us conjoined rooms.

Double booked room had to stay in a lesser value room when I charged for the most expensive room had to carry four suitcases up 7 flights of stairs then back down due to my room be unavailable no accommodation made the overnight staff was rude and a whole lot other stuff while it’s my birthday
