beach view was obstructed, pool was nice, not much of a view, not a true penthouse only 6 floors, small but clean room, friendly staff, charged $50 a night for parking and there was no advanced knowledge of going to have to pay that much for parking PER NIGHT.

They need to let their customers also know- that their are comfortable lounge chairs and great beach umbrellas for rent on the beach1 so guests have options- if they do not want to carry their chairs on their own to the beach

Otherwise the beach was great!! and a small pool but was heated, good location, in front of free trolley, everyone was courteous

The hotel property is nice and has a lot of potential. The staff were polite and check-in was easy. We booked an upgraded room mainly for the large patio, which looked great in the pictures and seemed like a perfect place to relax during our two-week stay.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing. The room had dust and small gravel in several places, and the patio cushions were not clean. We even had to remove the cushions and sit on towels because of dark spots that looked like mold, so we did not enjoy the patio as we had planned.

Overall, the hotel could be very good, but housekeeping needs improvement. I would rate the stay 4/5 overall, but cleanliness closer to 2.5/5.

The suite is smaller than the advertised 700 square feet. The pool is small, and the only dining option is Starbucks, which has friendly staff. The hotel staff are courteous. The coffee maker isn't a Nespresso and has a limited supply of capsules; there's no tea available. The bed is more like a full-size but is comfortable.

My disadvantage in writing this review is that I have not stayed in other comparable hotels in this same area, so I can only comment on this one experience. I had researched multiple options before the trip and this place seemed to be one of the better options in terms of price, location, and space. None of the similar hotels in this area offered an included breakfast, and (I'm guessing) all of them probably only have valet parking. With that said, let's begin.

The hotel is located in the North Beach section of Miami Beach. It is about 5 - 6 miles from South Beach. The drive in between can be bad depending on time of day, etc. There is some trolley system that you can ride for free to access other part of Miami Beach, but you may have to take 2 different ones to get where you want to go. My advice is to stay close to what you are mostly interested in. We ended up walking to dinner all 3 evenings we were here. There is a Starbuck's adjacent to the lobby, also.

First the good points.
- Beach access from the hotel is across the street, about 100 yards south and 100 yards east. The beach is open to the public, but most of the access is taken up by hotels and condos. Hence, you can only access the beach every block or 2. Here it was easy. It was great to take a walk on the beach around sunrise. We also had a (restricted) view of the beach from our east-facing room. The view was limited between 2 other high rise buildings but we were able to watch the sunrise in that gap.

Clean room, well stocked. 5-15 min walk to many restaurants. Pool area nice and 1 minute walk to beach. The only thing is they charge $43 a night resort fee in top of hotels charge which I was not aware of ahead of time. Also I might pay more to stay on the waterway side. Tbalcony was nice but very noisy on Colin’s ave.

The service provided by Augustine was truly exceptional. We experienced a water leak caused by a faulty washer, and he kindly came to our room at 3 a.m. to help. He personally dried all the water using towels, working on his hands and knees to make sure everything was taken care of. His dedication and willingness to go above and beyond made a stressful situation so much easier. We’re incredibly grateful for his help.

The location is nice and my room was as described. The entire staff needs replaced. When we checked in the guy couldnt find the reservation, asked several times if we had the right day and hotel. The front desk basically doesnt speak or look at you, unless you demand it. Even getting and returning towels was a fight. I didnt want to use anything in the kitchen, it was all covered in dust. The couch in the room had a crusty white stain. So yeah good location, quiet sleep and comfortable bed.

Great location in Miami Beach, only 12mins from South Beach, theres a starbucks inside of the hotel, a gym & pool with a view. Its walkable to the beach right across the street, the hotel provides beach chairs and/or umbrellas. I had a balcony room with a view of the bay which was AMAZING. Rooms were clean and modern. I will definitely be back.

The room is like a mini studio. It was great clean and quiet. The staff is attentive. The beach is across the street. Bus across the street goes to all major attractions.
If you don’t want to spend money on food there is a Publix supermarket 15 minute walk away. You can get food and put it in tje fridge freeze works great. There is a microwave and toaster oven available. They provide all kitchenware

I enjoyed my stay at 6080 Design Hotel. The staff was very friendly and if I needed something they provided it. The room was perfect for someone whom likes an studio apartment feel, with all the amenities of home with a kitchenette. I like the fact that it's close to the free trolley offered by the city. It's close to the beach that can be walked to.

What I found disappointing was that they say that they have a shuttle to take you to the beach. But that's not true in my experience. They have a shuttle, they will give you these chairs, beach towels and an umbrella, but they don't take you to the beach. You have to walk with these things. So why have a shuttle if you're not going to use it?
Another thing which was disappointing, which may seem petty to some. But for the quality of the paper products were like what you would find in a cheap dive hotel. The toilet paper and the tissues were so hard and thin.You could buy better products at the Dollar Tree.They could at least provide quality as good as you get at sam's club. They didn't have an iron or ironing board in the room.

All in all I would definitely stay there again. Hopefully, they will have upped their game a little for the price.

I’m not sure how this is a 4-star hotel. The room was ok. The sofa was pretty stained, we weren’t comfortable sitting on it without covering it. We needed a simple dental kit but was told it wasn’t available. Couldn’t call Valet from the room because the button didn’t work. In general the service was poor and a one of the Latin female staff members at the front desk was particularly rude.
They “cleaned” our room while our DND was on, moved things around but no real CLEANING took place. They generally only clean the room every 3 days.
Separately, the valet service which is not part of the hotel was horrible, in the 4 days there, we never had a welcoming experience by the valet, and often times we had to go inside and find them —they just were so nonchalant that we felt like we were inconveniencing them to do their job.
I can go on and on but, I would just simply say, to look for another hotel in Miami.

The hotel has good facilities and a pleasant structure, but the front desk staff could definitely improve their empathy and guest service.

I arrived just one hour before check-in, and even though the room might have been ready, I was not allowed to check in early, which I accepted and waited until the correct time. However, at check-out, I requested just 30 extra minutes and was also denied a late check-out — something that has never happened to me in any other hotel.

Small gestures of understanding and flexibility make a big difference in a guest’s experience. The hotel itself is nice, but this lack of consideration from the reception staff really affected my overall impression.

The room was beautiful!!! I always feel safe and am treated like royalty when I'm there. This is my go-to hotel every single time I'm in Miami Beach, and I'm there a lot! There is a Starbucks right in the lobby and we get 10 per cent off. Big bottles of sparkling and still water, coffee etc. The room has a toaster oven, fridge, dishwasher, dishes, all of the things you need to feel right at home! I love it and I love staying here!

The room was clean and well-maintained, but the service was very poor. When I asked for my room to be cleaned, they put a stained bedsheet on the bed.

I also went to the beach near the hotel and needed to use the restroom urgently. I called the hotel to ask if the valet guy could pick me up at the beach, but they told me he was the only one working and couldn’t leave his post. The lady I spoke with told me to walk back instead, even though I had an umbrella, chair, and my personal belongings with me. I had to walk about 15 minutes carrying everything back to the hotel. If that’s how they treat their guests, it’s very disappointing, and I will likely book a better place next time.

I loved my spacious terrace. It was huge! The layout of the room was almost perfect. Enjoyed the bed facing floor to ceiling windows. The openness of it was without a doubt a highlight for me. The only small hiccup was getting valet to stop adjusting all my settings in my car EVERY time I returned. I would love to stay again, if the extra terrace room is ever available again! Booked solid everytime I check.

Stuff unfriendly, room dirty, towels with spots. Elevator or broken or very slow collecting all guests, housekeeping, delivery etc. We booked 3 rooms, incl. 2 penthouses, it’s far from what someone would assume a Suite or Penthouse. Even not close.
Very disappointing experience.

Lovely staff and service. They were generous enough to give me a partial refund when I wasn't able to be there for the first two nights of my reservation.

The room was full of light and had some nice basic kitchen amenities like dishes. Having free laundry on site was another perk.

Room could have been cleaner. Found a few things under the bed.

I had a great stay! I was here for 4 days with my friend for Memorial Day Weekend. The place was clean and the staff were nice. The pool was small but was nice and on the rooftop. I see myself coming back but I did not like the $200 refundable deposit which I didn’t receive and I will follow up with the hotel about that!

I stay here frequently when coming to Miami. I love it because it’s quiet, it’s clean and provides apartment style rooms giving you the feel of Miami living. It also smells amazing in the lobby! A new fridge was added in the lobby with some frequently used alcoholic beverages which I thought was nice. It allows people to grab a drink and enjoy them in their room/balcony if they’re not heading out. Everything is about 15-25 minutes away from the hotel, Publix is a 10 minute walk, Aventura mall is about 20-30 min drive. So it’s convenient and pleasant staying here. Some robes in the rooms would be a nice touch, also better beach lounge chairs.

Although the location is conveniently close to the beach and the suite had a nice layout -- our first night was AWFUL. Around 8pm, we moved an adjustable lamp slightly away from where it had been pointing and it sparked with electrictricity --leaving us with no power. I rented this weekend for a special celebration of my boyfriend's birthday and we couldn't even sleep or take a proper shower. The hotel had informed us that their tech left for the day already (at 8pm on a popular/overbooked weekend in miami?) and that we had to wait til 8am the next day to recieve any kind of help. They also refused to move us to another room. We spent the night using the flashlights on our phone just to be able to shower and move through out the room. Not to mention, because the power had gone off --we had NO AC. It was SO hot the entire night, we barely slept as well. We had an awful night and the next day when the mechanic finally arrived --he even mentioned his surprise at the fact that they would leave us to stay in a room like that. We asked for compensation for our troubles and they refused any kind of extra service or refund. It was awful. Wouldn't stay again.
