Room was ok. Outdated and not very clean. Front desk staff friendly. Car attendants do an ok job but parking very busy and will take at least 30 minutes to get your car. Pool area is the best overall feature of the whole building. Easy access to beach.

The pool and food tiki place next to it top it. The food and drink are good. The valet does take a bit sometimes, over 10minute for the car

Good location with beach access in Miami Beach. Valet parking was convenient and efficient. The rating is because the room left a lot to be desired. At first glance, it looked clean. However, it was not clean. First, the windows and blinds were dirty. We had to clean the kitchen surfaces before we felt comfortable enough to use it. Maybe it’s just our room, but serious upkeep and maintenance work should be done before this room should be rented out.

The room was great! It was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The only thing we couldn’t access, but were able to get from someone local to the building, was a laundry card. I would just double check that if you need to do a wash. Other than that, everyone was amazing! Also, the coffee on the lower level is FABULOUS!! Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing stay!

For middle Miami Beach, it is a chip fair option, but the apartment needs an update. The showers have low pressure and look dirty due to the age of the appliances. Also, the pillows and bed sheets need to be new, with better material and quality. It is also hard to find housekeeping since every apartment has its own company. A great plus is that parking is valet and free.

The apartment is in need of a remodeling. Walls are patched, bathroom is outdated with the bathtub peeling off. The beds need new mattresses. They were thin and wobbly in the middle. I woke up with a back ache everyday.

⭐️ 1/5 – Very Poor Experience- Avoid at all cost.

This stay was extremely disappointing and poorly managed. The owners were unresponsive despite repeated complaints. The room had multiple maintenance issues, including clogged sink and bathtub, broken appliances, damaged floor tiles, and visible ceiling patchwork. The laundry card machine was out of order.

Staff at the front desk and valet were rude and unhelpful. Most concerning was a serious cleanliness issue, including what appeared to be bed bugs, a serious health issue, which was immediately reported to Expedia. A full refund was requested.

Do not risk your vacation here. We regret choosing this property and recommend looking elsewhere.

Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately very uncomfortable. There was a persistent odor in the room, possibly from chemicals or cleaning products. Initially, we expected it to dissipate, but it remained throughout our stay.

We specifically booked this property expecting to use the laundry facilities. However, upon arrival we were informed that the laundry card system was not working. Despite repeatedly raising this issue with the reception, no solution was provided. The contact number given to resolve the issue was never answered, and the matter remained unresolved for the entire two days of our stay.

Additionally, the room furnishings are extremely old, and the bathroom appeared poorly maintained and unclean, which added to the discomfort.

Overall, the experience did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, comfort, or service. I would not recommend this pace to anyone.

Avoid this place! The photos online are completely misleading. Check-in took over an hour with rude staff, and the valet team was equally difficult to deal with. The room itself was in terrible condition—it smelled of mold, the bathroom wouldn't drain, and the flush was broken. We even found mothballs in the AC vent. Management is unresponsive and failed to provide a requested crib. Not worth the \"beach access\" at all ..stayed for three nights horrible

It was clean and the room was spacious with a good view. the pool and beach access was great. you have to go to front desk to get a wrist band for everything (going to the pool/gym/beach) it’s annoying because you take it off all the time and the line for front desk is usually really long and it takes forever. I did like the hotel it’s just the system they have for the wrist bands, laundry etc seemed more difficult and time consuming than it needed to be. Contacting about an issue needed to be through email and I asked about more toiletries twice and never got them.

The cleaning needs better attention upon entering the smell was unbearable, they used urinal sense in the vents we had to take them down and put them away after that there was a TV issue where the subscription to TiVo was an active so I had to work around that. Also, there were sent to make ants and bugs. Go away later to find out that there were ants and cockroaches everywhere.

I don’t know what the room service is like because I didn’t get any. I had to clean my own room while I was recovering from surgery. I asked the receptionist why I wasn’t receiving room service? She told me I had to go through the third party that I booked through. I messaged Expedia (whom I thought was my booking party) but I didn’t get a response. I also saw a picture of a stove in the room I chose. There was no stove. There was a double iron hot plate with one eye smaller than the other. The plates didn’t get that hot. Some of my food was butchered because of the lack of high temperature. So I had to spend more money on take out because I could t cook properly. There weren’t a lot of plug outlets to use around the apartment either. I had to unplug one thing just to plug up something else. For example only one outlet in the kitchen with out a stove, and one receiver plug in the bathroom was ridiculous. The hot water was a ‘cross your fingers situation’ and there wasn’t any hot water in the kitchen. It was hard to get the dishes clean. There was still trash left in the room and spaghetti sauce on the wall when I arrived. The blankets were very thin with sharp edges that would scratch and cut you while you sleep through the night. The view from my room was beautiful. The beachfront was a very short walk with multiple food options. Now that was the best part. Valet was mandatory. Which was a little annoying but the staff was friendly and they made efforts to stay professional

Honestly, it was fine. It was what is was advertised. It’s small but has what you need. It was clean but dated. The view was very pretty!

What they don’t advertise is that yes there is free parking but you have to wait about 30 mins to get your car. So if you need to go somewhere be ready early.

For the price it was fine, i don’t know if I would come again, but I wouldn’t say I would never come back.

My stay at Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach was amazing from start to finish. The private beach access was peaceful, clean, and never crowded—it truly felt like my own little getaway. I enjoyed the live band, which played great music without being too loud, creating the perfect atmosphere. The bar was also very cool and relaxed, making evenings enjoyable without feeling overwhelming.

What I loved most is that everything was within walking distance—restaurants, cafés, shops, and entertainment—so I didn’t need a car at all. The area is safe and easy to navigate, especially at night. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made my stay even better.

If you value comfort, walkability, great service, and a calm beach experience, I highly recommend Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach. I would happily return!with my husband

The hotel itself is nice, and I’m sure some rooms are much better, but unfortunately, our room was quite disappointing. It was very old and in need of renovation. On the first day, the air conditioner worked fine, but then it stopped cooling completely. The staff tried to help and brought us a portable air conditioner, but it was very noisy.

The beds and mattresses were quite old, the room didn’t feel very clean, and there was a terrible smell everywhere — in the room and throughout the hotel. Overall, there were many small details that made the stay less comfortable than expected. With some updates, better cleaning, and maintenance, this hotel could be much better.

We got the balcony view 1629 and it was decent. The bed wasn’t comfortable. It kept making noise when you toss and turn. Our back hurted the next day. We found a couple of roaches. They barely had towels. Bring your own beach towels and towels for back up. They only communicate through email. The balcony view was amazing.

Room was questionable in cleanliness. Every single area in the bathroom (floor tile, bathtub, faucets, door jam) were painted over. This makes me wonder how it can possibly get cleaned after each stay. The view was NOT as pictured in the listing (even after identifying the same room), all we could see is the top of the roof. We got put into the wrong room thanks to Expedia’s incompetence, however I think this property management team needs to closely monitor their standards because this room was disgusting.

We were very disappointed with the management's attitude. We had zero minutes of early check-in. Upon entering the room, there was a strong smell of oil-based paint (we even found an empty paint can on the counter) and a large puddle of water on the floor from a leaking refrigerator. The response was to leave the room for someone from the maintenance team could turn on the odor-eliminating machine and \"check\" the refrigerator. We were waiting over 2 hours outside. Suggestions to provide different room, lower the price for the inconvenience, or ultimately, a late check-out were ignored. This was too much for our quick getaway.

It has nice locations, parking facilities is nice, all staff members are supportive, views are amazing , just across the beach but property conditions was average, had to keep tap on for 10-15 min to get warm water (yes warm water), due to rain there was water leak in apartment at few places, management did offer another place to stay overnight until they fix next day but it was smaller and had bay views, management did try to help me but never agreed on refunds for the issues I faced, furniture had some issues like broken, damaged parts, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were good in size.. overall I would give 1 or 2 stars. However as per mail received from property management, if we give 5 stars, they can also return 5 star to me however I will be honest that with that price tags, there can be other options.

Good stay overall, but with some concerns

The shower appeared to need some touching up visually (some peeling paint, shower head leaking, etc.), and the “ocean view” advertised for our room was mostly overlooking the roof. However, aside from those two things, the room itself was great. A slight nitpick though - the soaps in the bathroom smelled like burning chemicals, almost like the type of chemical used in perms at hair salons. Outside the room, the property was very busy most times of the day, making the elevators and car valet services difficult to utilize without crowding and/or long waits. With that in mind, overall the stay was very good, especially for the price. The aforementioned hiccups should just be kept in mind if planning to stay here.

The bedroom was fine, but this time the room was in the back of the building with a long small window on the top of the wall looking to a roof and the ocean was a little bit in the view. this property is the worst. they make you do valet parking which takes up a lot of your time waiting in line to offload or pickup. they are no leineinent with check in or check out times, not even by a few minutes. they charge for everything, valet, suitcase storage etc. they send security into that toilet if you go to change your clothes from the pool, as if that is illegal. they are rubbish and rude. that pool bar ppl are very rude as well and make u pay at once and run u down if u go back to the pool !

There was no air conditioning in the room and the person in charge of fixing it didn't offer any solution other than putting in a fan, without first asking me if they could change my room or, in the worst case, refund my reservation and let me go to another hotel. They simply put a fan in my room and I didn't hear from the manager or anyone who even apologized for the inconvenience that they couldn't solve during my stay.

The listing is a complete scam. To start we waited in a mile long line for over 2 hours to valet the car in order to checkin. Front desk receptionist was incredibly rude as was everyone that worked there. The room was advertised as an ocean front room. It was not. There were \"port\" windows with a view of a wall. The room was dirty. There was mold in multiple places. The dishes had dried food on them. There were roaches around the kitchen area. The comforters had food stains and had not been washed. We had 3 wash rags for 4 people for 3 days. This room is privately owned and you do not have housekeeping or any other services provided front desk. We left feeling extremely scammed after spending a lot of money. 0/10 do not recommend. We booked through Expedia advertised as a 3 star venue. We reached out to Expedia and they were absolutely no help as well.

I really liked the apartment, Presidential Loft M13, a very spacious place, and very private, it was very clean, I stayed 4 nights, I traveled with one of my daughters and 2 grandchildren, I had no problem to check-in, I sent all the information by email and there they gave me all the instructions,,when I arrived at the Apartments,,I was attended by a very friendly person and everything was very fast, the place is very safe and very private,,it has elevators,,they give you a code to enter your room, to go to the beach it is very easy and They also give you a code for the door,,when I got to my apartment I saw that the front door was not locked either inside or outside because it was broken, I sent an email to report the problem of the door so that they could fix it, they answered me very quickly and told me that they were going to send a maintenance person to fix the door but as it was already very late, they were going to send it in the morning, I also asked for a crib for the baby,, and well if they brought me the crib and they fixed the door and Well, I didn't have any problems anymore,,The furniture is very old but they are very comfortable,,I wish and the Management would change them for new ones, that would be excellent,Of course I would like to return to the same place on my next vacations, Thank you very much to the people in charge of the place for quickly answering the emails and solving the problems that there were, I really recommend Girasol Apartments to stay in.

Slowness of elevator is my only complaint.

Everything was very good during my stay. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and overall it was a positive experience.
The only things I think could be improved are the pool hours — closing at 7:00 pm feels too early, especially for those of us on vacation who want to enjoy the day a bit longer.
Also, the luggage situation was a bit uncomfortable since you have to carry your bags up the stairs to reach the lobby. It didn’t feel very accessible, and honestly, I don’t know how someone with a disability would get there. I suppose there might be an entrance through the pool area, but it wasn’t clearly indicated. It’s something worth looking into.

Other than that, everything else was excellent.

I have stayed at this property many times. Their hospitality is unmatched. I was NOT able to stay at this property for this stay dated above. I suffered a stroke. I was hospitalized. I could not make the reservation. I was hoping to get an exchange in dates because I stay here for medical reasons. The hotel is close to the hospital where I’m being seen. I did not get any type of understanding in regards to my urgent cancellation or options to move my reservation for another date. I’m seeing a surgeon and need medical attention. I booked this stay through Expedia I think that’s why there’s more of an issue. I have no direct contact. My communication at this hotel during my previous stays has been excellent. The apartment management is great. I am disappointed that I could not move my reservation to a later date. I had a stroke and that’s serious. I’m still hopeful for a resolution. I recommend this hotel for its apartment management alone from previous stays where I was helped over and beyond during very critical times of medical uncertainty

My overall stay was very nice. I like that they valet everyone but at a certain times it took a little longer to retrieve the car. My only issue was my room wasn’t no properly cleaned. The pool area was nice. They have a walked bar that sells food. There was easy access to the beach.

the only electric plugs were the ones in the kitchen and by the bathroom. all of the plugs around the room were not working. there was also a cocaroach in the room. there was also mold in the sink by the bathroom. the beach umbrella didn't work. beyond that, however, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the number of towels available to us.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at Girasole Apartments. The space was comfortable, and the view was absolutely breathtaking — definitely a highlight of our trip. The only downside was some difficulty with communication when we reported a clogged shower drain, which unfortunately wasn’t resolved during our stay. That said, the experience was still enjoyable, and with a little improvement in responsiveness, this place would be perfect.

Not sure how this place is still open. The room was disgusting. The shower would fill up with water and the water was yellow. We specifically asked for extra towels weeks before checking in and received none. The front desk told us the only way to get extra was to contact our host who told us we had to go downstairs and wash them in the laundry room. The AC unit dripped water immediately upon arrival and never stopped despite us never opening the balcony door. There are no paper towels provided. The sheets had hair, sand and stains all over them. Horrible.

Meh.

We rented this apartment to spend time with family with a late flight. It worked perfectly for that with a couch and beds to sit on and lots of room for the babies to crawl around. I was appreciative of the clean port a crib that was provided. Otherwise, I can’t say I would stay again. The guy checking in for valet was incredibly rude. The line to check in was long (we went to the apartment then came back which was better). The apartment was clean and stocked with basics. The AC worked enough to keep the apartment comfortable but was never cold. The bathroom was clean but still felt gross. With three inches of caulk around the sink and all parts of the shower. The tub had been painted and was peeling. The door was warped from water damage. Good price for the area but I would find a different area next time. Communication was easy.
