We paid for an ocean view room but did not receive one. Other than that, it was mostly fine - a place to sleep, which was good. The beach and pool were lovely.

This Lupus warrior is having a real fit. I had been to the Casablanca 3 years ago. Not a bad stay and clean rooms and pool made me choose it again. Boy was I wrong to do so. Wow i haven't had this happen before in any other location. The room was dirty, roach infested and the air conditioner was not working the filter grate was clogged with dust bunnies. There was mold on rhe bathroom ceiling. The front desk said they could not help me as it was a privately owned room. The concierge was closed and so was the inhouse restaurant. At the dirty pool that had no filtration running, they had a man walking around the pool with a live chicken wearing an ankle monitor covered with a bandana. He was chatting up the kids and walking by everyone carrying his chicken so they could pet him. Glass bottles by the pool and the elderly security team just shuffles around smoking in the non smoking areas. This was truly a disappointment and embarrassing. I went to Miami with the intention of hanging out with my daughter and granddaughter. They had to go back home after the second night due to the roaches. As a person with a very limited budget going elsewhere was not an option and me being a black lady traveling I was honestly afraid and not trying to start any trouble in Florida. And to top it all off they had removed all the balconies but were advertising a balcony accessible room. So my dream of coffee with the sunrising as i sit on a balcony looking at the ocean was not to be. Do better Casa

We stayed in a 1 bedroom on the Mezz floor. Clean comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay! The pool was great the ocean was beyond amazing! Walking distance to everything including a park for kids! We really enjoyed our stay knowing our expectations of an older place. Only thing out of place was a lady who slept in the lobby for two days.

The apartment was filthy. There was mold everywhere, the appliances were disgusting, and an unknown red spot was smeared all over the door. There was poop all around the toilet and blow dryer cable. The vents were very dirty and accumulated with dusts from years ago. The Wi-Fi sucks and be prepared there is no reception in this area at all. To top it all off there was an evacuation of the building due to flooding but our floor, the 5th floor, was never evacuated nor did the alarm go off. When I tried reaching out to management numerous times, I got ignored. Would not recommend or return again.

I stayed at Casablanca for 2 weeks in a studio on the 5th floor. It is very convenient, you have the swimming pool and the exit to the beach. I love it; also restaurants around , it is beginning to open the restaurant at the hotel lobby. so i truly enjoyed the time in Miami Beach , public-transportation is free until june1, 2021. We rented a car though.

The room was pretty decent overall with the exception of the roaches on the first night. I bought some Raid, so that controlled them for the rest of the stay. Definitely wasn’t used to that, but I wasn’t going to let it ruin my Mother’s Day weekend with my kids. We had to go buy wash rags and towels because there were only a set for 2 people. We had 5 people. The front desk does not accommodate anything. It’s up to the owner. The owner was very communicative through WhatsApp. Nice view from the balcony. The pool and beach is nice. This is not a bad place to stay. But preparation is everything...

There were soooo many cockroaches and spiders everywhere. Bath stub was stained, big whole on the ceiling by the front door. The whole ceiling was water damaged and falling apart. Very dirty stained and unsanitary place.

I like to post good reviews , stating how great a business is and how wonderful the service was . Unfortunately this is not the case this time ...
The room was DIRTY - a deep seated dirt everywhere that accumulated over a long period of time , dead cockroaches and other types of unidentifiable bugs along the walls . Looked like they don’t ever clean this place beside maybe changing the sheets in the best case scenario ... Smells like a dump . The service is horrible , the toilette got clogged up right after the first use , the contact person told us they can’t do anything about it till the next day .( nobody called us to try fix problem) Now we need to go use the common bathroom on the first floor ( we are on the 8 th floor ) .
This whole experience is more like an insult to everything customer service and hospitality industry should be like .
We are soo disappointed we will demand our money back !

This hotel is located right on the beach which makes it convenient. The beach and pool are great. Now the hotel itself not so much. This hotel is very run down in utter need of repairs. The room looked nothing like the pictures. There was a window that wouldn’t close properly. The elevators look like parts of the wall are being held together by glue and tape. Everything appeared clean just very run down. Checking in took a long time. Now I’ve stayed in far worse hotels but I expected that before getting there. The pictures of this hotel were very deceiving and not what I expected once I arrived. I probably would not have minded so much had I known. Overall, if you plan to spend most of your time at the beach or outside of the hotel this would not be a bad choice depending on the price. I’m not sure what the standard price is as I stayed here during super bowl weekend.

location, good for families, in need of upgrading

Lovely location right on the beach, great for families. Property was spacious and fairly clean but needs modernisation and a deep clean. Staff at hotel were great, pool was nice. Noise from neighbouring apartments could be clearly heard, both the plumbing which was really noisy when shower/WC/taps activated, and chatting could be heard. Not great for privacy and peace. Also there was items from I presume the previous occupant still in the kitchen cupboard. Given we were there on a peak weekend, felt it was ok value. Took a pool cabana on our last day, shower was cold, no fridge, light in bathroom didn’t work, and almost didn’t get the beach chairs we’d been assured came within the hire cost. Enjoyed our stay but not quite the standard we expected.

The property was very old and our apartment was not very clean. The sheets were very thin and the mattresses were stained and dirty. It was hard to get comfortable knowing what we were sleeping on. There was no TV in the master bedroom and only 2 rolls of toilet paper for the week. We paid a $114 cleaning fee and we did the cleaning. There was no inside lock to lock the door for safety and all night long the residents of the next door apartment were very loud and obnoxious. Scared the kids and annoyed us as we could not sleep. They were out in the hallway and apartment door open. The pool was very nice though and the access to the beach very nice and easy. That was the best part of the stay. Also, the valet parking made it easy to arrive and depart.

SCAM?! HIDDEN CHARGES! AVOID!

Hotel forced us to pay an €80 cleaning fee which was not referenced anywhere prior to booking. They messaged me a few days before my stay, stating that it had to be paid. While I have no issue in paying fees, I feel it is extremely dishonest and manipulative to spring this charge at the last minute. When booking somewhere else is impossible. I of course complained to the company who said there was nothing I could do except pay the fee. Please don't support a company who has such low moral standards.

Private Apartments at Casablanca Suite 801

The apartment building/hotel is in very poor condition. It seems no money has been put into revamping the rooms. When the elevators open up, they are not level with the floor. The buttons in the elevator don't work! I was on the 8th floor and the elevator would pass my floor, taking me to the 10th, then I would have to make my way down. The elevator doors don't slide shut smoothly. Doesn't give you a safe feeling. The room's condition was atrocious. The stove has aluminum foil around the elements. There is no venting whatsoever if you are cooking. The bathroom doors look like they had 4 layers of paint on them. It seems as though the owner(s) are not interested in spending any money for improvements to modernize the room and only in cashing in on the rental revenue. I have never stayed at a place that looked like this and would never stay here again. I would rate this apartment as a 2 star.

I cannot comment on the room as we never got our room. We reserved the room on Expedia. When we got to the hotel on Christmas night from MN they said there was no room available and that we had to check with the owner. We called the number provided over and over again (as did Expedia) and only got an answering service. We never received a return call. There we were stuck in Miami with 3 kids at 2am without a room...on Christmas. We spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Expedia. We finally checked in to a lesser place for the night at 3am...check out at 11. Truly horrible experience.

The next afternoon someone finally answered the phone and they said the room was never available and that it was Expedia's fault for advertising it. I have no idea who's fault it was but the bottom line is we didn't have a room. It looks like a nice place but we will never know.

Expedia couldn't immediately get a refund from the owner which caused further issue. We couldn't afford to rent two hotels for the week waiting for the refund. Credit to Expedia for paying for our new hotel (Embassy Suites). The new hotel was nice but it was by the airport vs. on the beach. We did enjoy the rest of our vacation but the first 24 hours were hell.

Having 3 kids crying at 2am with no place to go was a nightmare. I don't know that I will ever try renting from an owner again given our experience. The workers at the Hotel (front desk/vallet) knew nothing about the room nor could they help us.

Had to sweep room 2 times to have a clean floor, window falls off and no warning, water damage on wall by window-possible mold, paint chipping from wall in room and bathroom, dishes were completely greasy-had to wash in orser to use, front desk staff was cold, only good thing was the pool and the beach access.

Best bang for your buck!!

The hotel is great if all your looking for is a decent place to stay while you visit Miami. It offers FREE valet parking which is a must if you plan to drive here and don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for parking. There is a big pool at the hotel as well as convenient beach access. The room was very clean and organized and is fully equipped with modern appliances. The free wifi worked great for multiple devices that I was running. Most of the guests at the hotel are Hispanic families. The hotel is about 20 minutes from south beach.

Overall this place is good if you just need a place to stay and are on a budget, however if you are looking for pool parties and fancy room service, then this place is not for you and be prepared to spend $$

Advice:
Rent a scooter, they rent for about $70 for 24 hours and are great for quick travel to south beach and for exploring Miami beach. Scooters are easy to park and you wont be stuck in traffic

The staff would not give us toilet paper or let us exchange towels. They told us one thing, and then did another. They were rude and did not treat us like guests. Also, the private suite owner gave me a number and email to contact him, and never answered (I called 7 times).

Because of the flight delay we arrived next day morning, the room door was opened, the room was dirty, the beds had dirty beddings. It took 4 hours to have room cleaned/ We were promised to receive one-day money back, it didn't happened. During one night it was very noisy, some people had a party till 1 AM, it was not possible to sleep. Next day somebody took my wife's flip-flops while she was swimming in the hotel pool. I would not recommend to anybody use this Casablanca apartments.

Hotel pictures are not true

The lobby of this hotel is very nice. As soon as you take the elevator to your floor it looks like the place is falling apart ! Our room really was falling apart. The ceiling fan was hanging from the ceiling, the sliding glass door was duck taped together with no lock(the lock was a piece of wood)!!!! It was 2am and people are yelling and running in the hall ways. We left at 2 am and went and stayed 2 hotels down due to the conditions. I would not recommend to stay here at all!

Wonderful beach location

The apartment is situated in a decent building right on Miami Beach. It's not necessary to do any kind of check in, just walk right up to the apartment! The apartment is small and cozy and all of the things you need for the beach or pool are right at your fingertips: towels, beach chairs, an umbrella. The apartment does not face the beach, but it's only a few feet from the ocean. My experience there was very positive on almost all aspects.

EVITE A TODA COSTA - PEOR EXPERIENCIA

La experiencia en este establecimiento fue pésima de principio a fin. El único consejo que puedo dar es: EVITE ESTA PROPIEDAD

LIMPIEZA GENERAL
Al momento del ingreso la habitación no estaba totalmente limpia. Había polvo en la habitación, las cortinas tenían manchas de suciedad y telas de arañas. El piso estaba sucio y con dos cucarachas. En el baño, las toallas tenían pelos de huéspedes anteriores. Las sábanas tenían una apariencia dudosa en cuanto a limpieza. Las ventanas no han sido limpiadas en por lo menos una década.

ESTADO DE LAS INSTALACIONES
Las instalaciones estaban en pésimo estado, sucias y había mal olor. No tuvimos WIFI durante dos días, no hubo respuesta para solucionarlo.

ATENCIÓN DEL ARRENDANTE 
Pésima en todo sentido. Para contactarlos, nos dieron un link de WhatsApp. Cuando escribimos (educadamente) para solicitar el cambio de toallas y sábanas, no contestaron y nos eliminaron del grupo de WhatsApp.

Después de varios correos solicitando el cambio, lo hicieron varios días tarde.

La caja fuerte no funcionaba y se quedaron nuestras cosas adentro por varios días, escribimos por correo repetidamente sin obtener respuesta.

Es gravísimo que el arrendante no conteste ya que la administración del edificio no se hace responsable de nada. El huésped está totalmente desamparado ante situaciones muy incómodas.

Остановка на берегу океана на три дня.

Хорошее местоположение на берегу океана, даже из боковых окон виден океан, есть бассейн, паркинг бесплатный, но долго ждать пока парковщик подвезёт машину, спонтанные выезды не получаются. В целом неплохие и дешёвые апартаменты, но требуется ремонт. Звукоизоляция отсутствует, Wi-Fi работает очень медленно, даже почту не проверить, в основном совсем не работал. Очень шумный кондиционер, который пришлось выключить. Также очень шумит унитаз, сам по себе громко набирает и спускает воду - постоянно, даже ночью.
Не подходит для длительного проживания, а на пару дней остановиться сойдёт, хотя, лучше за меньшие деньги снять апартаменты подальше от океана, жить с комфортом и приезжать на пляж на машите, можно максимум за полчаса с другого конца города доехать даже с учетом пробок.
