I hope you like cold showers and hidden expenses! Just about nothing at the notebook worked properly. From the elevator to the room keys (of which I had to get replaced about 8 times during a 3 day stay)

Room had roaches, the shower was cold and had no pressure. My fan didn’t work. The parking is perhaps the most inconvenient I’ve ever come across. I was nickel and dimed for resort fees, parking, security deposits and an early check in.

Sleeping in my car would have been a better experience

The front desk clerk was extremely rude. They charge for everything $30 a day for parking $45 for the location of the motel. It states its a Resort but I have experienced motels in better conditions and with better service than this place here.
The room was dirty. Specifically there was black mold in the bathroom, soap scum from previous users in the tub and the sink had black residue, tub was not clean, the fridge had meat blood in it, the window seal was dusty and the table was dirty. We were told someone was coming to clean the next morning no one showed up.

I don’t know why everyone says the staff here are rude and whatnot. Maybe because a lot of people that come and visit have a sense of entitlement, and start off as a sassy person, then you wonder why you get the attitude that you do. I came from nothing, and was blessed to visit Miami for the first time. My character made me have a wonderful time, why? Because the air in my lungs is probably one of my favorite miracles I get to enjoy

Terrible experience, the staff was rude from the moment I walked in and I try to let it go but then I got to the room and it was dirty. Dust and dirt on the night stands, sheets had stains and overall room not clean. Requested a refund and they got loud and refused. It’s approaching 3 weeks and still haven’t received the hold for the refundable deposit!

It was a really bad experience and a hotel that never covers the money paid! The room was not clean, the towel was insufficient and it was not as shown in the photos. I bought it because there is parking, but we had to pay extra, I never recommend it!!!!

Terrible experience. Staff was rude except one lady. The room don’t include much. We didn’t have any towels or wash clothes, 1/4 roll of tissue, rust and hair everywhere. The floors squeaked and you can hear people upstairs. The bed was uncomfortable. No bugs or weird smell but I would never stay again. I guess it’s it roof if you just want to sleep and be close to the north Miami Beach.

This hotel should not be advertise good decent or ok we (me and my husband) had to switch rooms 3 times the first room had roach egg shells in the bed the rooms was very dirty the second room the hot water nor the shower worked the window in the bathroom didn’t close With no curtain or shades the 3 rm we was plunging our bathroom toilet we paid for a upgraded room with a balcony and all none of the rooms they provided us had a balcony the staff are unfriendly sander or Zander also know as 911 never spoke lied about coming to fix the shower we waited 10 minutes (the next day ) the outside front patio is open to the public and it’s trashy beer bottles and cigarettes packs everywhere the smell of pee across the whole patio my experience all around at this hotel was a zero out of 10 do not recommend in my honest opinion this place should be shut down it wasn’t any towels in the room the ones he tired to give us had bed bugs on them we checked out early in the morning and they tried to deny our deposit because check out is no earlier then 10

Only book for under $100. Only good quality was the location to the public beach. Staff was unfriendly and lazy. Trash was left on the patio and in the lobby for days. You only recieve one tiny half sized towels for the room and you cant even adjust the thermostat.

My room was filthy. Hairs everywhere. Looked like pillows had already been slept on. Layers of grime on shower walls. Mirror in bathroom covered in spots hadn't even been wiped. Windows had fingerprints all over them. Garbage on the floor. The curtains didn't close fully. The main light in room didn't work, only a small lamp. My bed had a big dip in it and I could feel the springs. I don't know where these amazing reviews are coming from, but my experience was terrible.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others.

My stay at Notebook Miami was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The property did not meet expectations based on the listing—cleanliness, overall condition, and attention to detail were all below standard. There were multiple issues that made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating, and it was clear that proper care and management are lacking.

What made things worse was the lack of responsiveness and urgency when these concerns were brought up. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, it felt like they were dismissive and unhelpful, which only added to the frustration.

For the price paid, this was absolutely not worth it. There are far better options in Miami where you’ll get better service, cleaner accommodations, and a more professional experience.

I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Would never book here again. Beds only had a single sheet, holes in the curtains, ceiling fan didn’t work, lamp placed on the floor next to the bed, no phone in the room, tv wouldn’t turn on, unpainted particle board on bathroom vanity, no in room temperature control. When we went to the front desk, the gentleman said he was the only one working and couldn’t do anything about the fan and since we were only staying one night, we should be fine. The gentlemen working at check out was the only redeeming thing. He was friendly. This hotel was cheap for a reason. Lesson learned.

The room was disgusting. Bathroom was not cleaned had unused shampoo tube, stuff was in the toilet and hair in the bathtub. Bed linens were unclean and bed mattress sank to the bottom. I'm very disappointed that Expedia is acting as an agent for this hotel.

Checking in took an hour and the staff it actually took two hours in the staff just are so slow wasting so much time toilet was clogged. The bath towel had blood stains. There was no hairdryer and the room was the bed was I was just like kind of nasty towel. AC was way too. Cold blanket was horrible and it was just like gave off kind of dirty vibes in the staff was not helpful.

this is coming from someone who can get by with just about anything. the staff, horrible. i asked for a remote for my tv, and the guy said “i don’t have one, there’s nothing i can do for you” wouldn’t offer money back. the room was disgusting. luckily i only needed one day stay. slept on my clean clothes bc nothing was clean. th shower doesn’t even get relatively warm, its just cold. the location was fine. i would never recommend this to anyone, what a joke. super 6 is a luxury compared to this place. also you can’t control the AC, the hotel does, so it’s hot. our ceiling fan worked, but no lights also. too cheap to change a dang light bulb!?

CATFISH. Get sat for this review cause I’ve got nothing nice to say. Trashiest hotel imaginable. Toilet didn’t flush. Room looked NOTHING like the listing photos. The comforter had… what i can only assume is human pleasure juice… on it. You know what that tells me ? THEY DONT WASH THE BEDDING. The towels were shredded, stained and dirty. They gave us 1 bath towel and when I asked for more they were rude and resistant. Then when we went out, they came in our room and took our towels and didn’t replace them. I’m normally forgiving if 1-2 things are off but EVERYTHING SUCKED HERE. The matress felt like sleeping directly on springs. Pretty this whole hotel was furnished with street corner finds cause why is everything so musty and disgusting?? You’d be more comfortable pitching a tent on a street corner. I complained and they refunded the bogus hotel fee they charge. 0 stars. Scam hotel.. I will be disputing with my bank

My room looked NOTHING like online, there was no tissue, towels, nor wash cloths. The tub had been painted with regular paint. The AC cannot be controlled, they tell you to just close/open the vents. On top of all of that, the power went out and the manager’s response was “I’m busy” and that the outage was out of his control.

The staff was mostly friendly. There is places to eat around the hotel but need to take the bus or trolley to do anything besides swim at the beach. Room was decent but had to go get clean towels and toilet paper everyday.

The staff was not very friendly, they'd look at us like they were doing us a favor, not like we were guests. They even forgot to give me an ID that I left with them as guarantee when we asked for a hair dryer! The only highlight of the property is that it's quite close to the beach.

Upon check-in at 10pm, the clerk told us “street parking is free, overnight until 9am.” At 9am we put money on the online meter and went to the beach. At 10:15am, there was a ticket on the car from the previous night (11:45pm) for $36. Parking is NOT free until 3am. Why couldn’t he have just told us that?

Terrible! We arrived early, asked if we could check in, they said no but said we could put our bags in the corner with no security, it was just casually next to the vending machines. Went to the bathroom to change and there was no toilet paper or paper towels, asked the front desk guy and he gave me toilet paper and said he’d have to check with a maid to get paper towels. When we finally were able to get into the room, there was see through white curtains. No wash cloths, bathtub was filthy!!! Hair on the floor. Straight up nasty.

The property was somewhat clean. We found stains on our bedding, asked for new shwets they gave us some but were still stained. The bedding and towels seemed very old and worn. The front desk wasn't very friendly or helpful. The rooms looked like they tried to renovate them but took to mamy shortcuts.

The only thing boutique as this hotel was the lobby! The room was horrible bathroom door didn’t close properly hot water was on an off and I saw 2 roaches .. the resort fee served no purpose because it had no amenities not even a coffee station for guests! For what the price is per night i expected way more!! The only good experience i can mention was the overnight reception can’t remember her name but she was absolutely amazing and super friendly!!

The hotel is poorly managed. Front desk staff is rude, the system doesn't sync with Expedia which resulted in staff member entering my room without permission at midnight claiming I'm in the wrong room and demand my signature to re-arrange the room. This is totally unacceptable. The worst experience I ever had!

The lobby is very decieving. The rooms are filthy. Hair globs all over the houkeeping was sent and she just swung a nasty mop around thus explaining the balls of hair everwhere. The ready room had makeup on the sheetsand hair betwen then layers. No blankets are in the rooms and yoy cannot controll the cold ac they pump in. I have to beg.... the rhe bathroom again hair and white dust on tub and walls. Garbage including sanitary items in rhe garbage can. Towels were no where to be found. When i asked it was a problem i dareto ask. They finaly brought me 3 hand towels for 2 adults is my alotment,they said. Remote for TVno where to be found they only have a few and there first come only. Hide it if you reserve for housekeeping to reset the room rhey take it and you have to go ask again. Yep its back to first come. The employess openly saying not my problem make a comment and go back yo your room i heard them tell a lady. The permit and posted fire saftey / busines license is expired.

It was falling apart as we wipe our face.
We had to ask for toilet paper.
No one clean our room or empty the garbage.
Very very disappointed.
Will not recommend to anyone.
False advertising.
You should investigate before posting them on Expedia.
We deserve a partial refund.

I can’t even begin to tell you had bad of an experience we had with this hotel. First it took over an hour to try to check in as the one and only front desk person at 8:35 pm was outside smoking and then took an extreme amount of time checking in two other guests. When it was finally our turn, our check in was being interrupted by other guests who couldn’t get into their rooms due to malfunctioning locks. When he was finally able to check us in, he was only able to find one of the two rooms on the itinerary even though the charges clearly reflected two rooms. Between no working elevator, door lock problems and what seemed to be hourly room rentals we finally had to leave at 10pm and search for a new place to stay when we were already exhausted from traveling. I would NEVER recommend anyone staying here. Not only for these issues but it seems rundown and according to the front desk host “they have a lot of work to do”

Check in was good, but once we got to the room we had no wash clothes and the towels looked as if someone left them from their stay,one purple the other blue and white. We called downstairs because the remote wasn't working and was told he'd be up with batteries or a replacement remote but he never showed so we just went to bed. Sunday morning when I expressed my dislike of things with the front desk staff he just told me (oh I would've given you comforters if you had asked ) like excuse me. I definitely wouldn't recommend.

The room itself was very basic, the towels old, the mattress thin, and the bed rickety; the comforter wasn't clean.
There is no air conditioning in the room (at least I couldn't find a switch), and the ceiling fan was noisy.
The staff was overall pleasant, but the experience wasn't very welcoming.

It seemed clean but lacked the basics you’d expect your hotel room to have, such as, hand towels, washcloths, adequate soap and shampoo (only one tiny bar of soap that we had to use for shower and hand washing) and shampoo (one very small packet of shampoo for two women). We were told the room temperature, which was uncomfortably warm, could not be adjusted because hotel was all one temperature. We noticed the thermostat by vending machines was set at 80F. Website says free early check in is available after 2pm but said check in couldn’t be done until 4pm.

This place is old and outdated. The kind of place that paints over door handles. Very small bathroom and 1900s elevator they had to unlock to use. Pot smokers sit outside in the bench. One time stay that’s for sure.

The room says it has toiletries ..only a tiny bar of soap. I shower towel and 1 hand towel. They took our dirty towel and never replaced it. Found trash from previous people on the floor. No hot water.

The curtains were falling off the rod. There was no paper roll in the bathroom and no liner in the trash can. No wash clothes were left in the room. The batteries were held in the remote with a sticker and the finish in the bathtub was peeling up. I asked for a comb and was told there was nothing available. Staff on my second day failed to even look up from the phone when I stood at the front desk for an extended time.

The first room that we were assigned was terrible. The mattress had holes and the springs were exposed. We switched it a different room. Bed was better. Ceiling fan was noisy, bath room was outdated, hot water was way too high, room was noisy, floor was cracked, tiles were cracked, there was messy caulking everywhere in the bathroom, only were provided two very small towels, no amenities at all, no coffee maker, clock, iron, sheets were old and funky, pillows were disgusting, neighbors were noisy, it took over two hours to check in, there were hundreds of dollars of unexpected fees, front desk had very poor communication and customer service techniques, it was like living in a fraternity house on campus. The lobby was decorated with very tacky furniture and decor. The electrical door locks didn’t work properly and had to be reprogrammed twice.

I would not recommend this place. I would like a full refund of my reservation because it was not what I expected and it was not what was advertised.

Expedia should take them off of their places to stay.

The only thing that was good was the location. It was noisy but would have been better if the windows were thicker and the air conditioning worked properly along with the ceiling fan which made a lot of noise.

The people at the front desk didn’t care at all and didn’t want to make my stay pleasant. They didn’t even have a corkscrew. They wanted to have my drivers license as security for a beach towel. I need my drivers licens.

Room was dirty, sheets were stained, floor was sloped, random pieces of wood in the closet, no thermostat in the room, no remote for the tv only for the Roku attached to it, internet barely worked and was extremely slow. Could clearly hear people in other rooms and outside even from the third floor with all the windows closed. No parking was available, was directed to park at the garage across the street for $100/night even though every hotel around us had cheaper valet rates for overnight parking.

Grumpy staff members. No blankets, only sheets on the beds. No individual thermostats in the rooms. Worst place I’ve ever stayed and will NOT return or recommend.

Bed had no blanket, pillows were obviously old and worn. Water temperature in shower was extremely difficult to control. Building is very old and has some bandaids and makeup but not by a good contractor. Would not stay again.
