Terrible! We arrived early, asked if we could check in, they said no but said we could put our bags in the corner with no security, it was just casually next to the vending machines. Went to the bathroom to change and there was no toilet paper or paper towels, asked the front desk guy and he gave me toilet paper and said he’d have to check with a maid to get paper towels. When we finally were able to get into the room, there was see through white curtains. No wash cloths, bathtub was filthy!!! Hair on the floor. Straight up nasty.

The property was somewhat clean. We found stains on our bedding, asked for new shwets they gave us some but were still stained. The bedding and towels seemed very old and worn. The front desk wasn't very friendly or helpful. The rooms looked like they tried to renovate them but took to mamy shortcuts.

I was nervous beginning when I read all the review but everything was ok when I checked in ,, Grear location and everything was ok not like everything said in bed review … remember you got what you paid for .. small room small shower but very quiet and close to the beach ,,, air conditioner running all day long and comfy .. The only thing boutique as this hotel was the lobby! The room was horrible bathroom door didn’t close properly hot water was on an off and I saw 2 roaches .. the resort fee served no purpose because it had no amenities not even a coffee station for guests! For what the price is per night i expected way more!! The only good experience i can mention was the overnight reception can’t remember her name but she was absolutely amazing and super friendly!!

The hotel is poorly managed. Front desk staff is rude, the system doesn't sync with Expedia which resulted in staff member entering my room without permission at midnight claiming I'm in the wrong room and demand my signature to re-arrange the room. This is totally unacceptable. The worst experience I ever had!

The lobby is very decieving. The rooms are filthy. Hair globs all over the houkeeping was sent and she just swung a nasty mop around thus explaining the balls of hair everwhere. The ready room had makeup on the sheetsand hair betwen then layers. No blankets are in the rooms and yoy cannot controll the cold ac they pump in. I have to beg.... the rhe bathroom again hair and white dust on tub and walls. Garbage including sanitary items in rhe garbage can. Towels were no where to be found. When i asked it was a problem i dareto ask. They finaly brought me 3 hand towels for 2 adults is my alotment,they said. Remote for TVno where to be found they only have a few and there first come only. Hide it if you reserve for housekeeping to reset the room rhey take it and you have to go ask again. Yep its back to first come. The employess openly saying not my problem make a comment and go back yo your room i heard them tell a lady. The permit and posted fire saftey / busines license is expired.

It was falling apart as we wipe our face.
We had to ask for toilet paper.
No one clean our room or empty the garbage.
Very very disappointed.
Will not recommend to anyone.
False advertising.
You should investigate before posting them on Expedia.

I can’t even begin to tell you had bad of an experience we had with this hotel. First it took over an hour to try to check in as the one and only front desk person at 8:35 pm was outside smoking and then took an extreme amount of time checking in two other guests. When it was finally our turn, our check in was being interrupted by other guests who couldn’t get into their rooms due to malfunctioning locks. When he was finally able to check us in, he was only able to find one of the two rooms on the itinerary even though the charges clearly reflected two rooms. Between no working elevator, door lock problems and what seemed to be hourly room rentals we finally had to leave at 10pm and search for a new place to stay when we were already exhausted from traveling. I would NEVER recommend anyone staying here. Not only for these issues but it seems rundown and according to the front desk host “they have a lot of work to do”

Check in was good, but once we got to the room we had no wash clothes and the towels looked as if someone left them from their stay,one purple the other blue and white. We called downstairs because the remote wasn't working and was told he'd be up with batteries or a replacement remote but he never showed so we just went to bed. Sunday morning when I expressed my dislike of things with the front desk staff he just told me (oh I would've given you comforters if you had asked ) like excuse me. I definitely wouldn't recommend.

The room itself was very basic, the towels old, the mattress thin, and the bed rickety; the comforter wasn't clean.
There is no air conditioning in the room (at least I couldn't find a switch), and the ceiling fan was noisy.
The staff was overall pleasant, but the experience wasn't very welcoming.

It seemed clean but lacked the basics you’d expect your hotel room to have, such as, hand towels, washcloths, adequate soap and shampoo (only one tiny bar of soap that we had to use for shower and hand washing) and shampoo (one very small packet of shampoo for two women). We were told the room temperature, which was uncomfortably warm, could not be adjusted because hotel was all one temperature. We noticed the thermostat by vending machines was set at 80F. Website says free early check in is available after 2pm but said check in couldn’t be done until 4pm.

The curtains were falling off the rod. There was no paper roll in the bathroom and no liner in the trash can. No wash clothes were left in the room. The batteries were held in the remote with a sticker and the finish in the bathtub was peeling up. I asked for a comb and was told there was nothing available. Staff on my second day failed to even look up from the phone when I stood at the front desk for an extended time.

The first room that we were assigned was terrible. The mattress had holes and the springs were exposed. We switched it a different room. Bed was better. Ceiling fan was noisy, bath room was outdated, hot water was way too high, room was noisy, floor was cracked, tiles were cracked, there was messy caulking everywhere in the bathroom, only were provided two very small towels, no amenities at all, no coffee maker, clock, iron, sheets were old and funky, pillows were disgusting, neighbors were noisy, it took over two hours to check in, there were hundreds of dollars of unexpected fees, front desk had very poor communication and customer service techniques, it was like living in a fraternity house on campus. The lobby was decorated with very tacky furniture and decor. The electrical door locks didn’t work properly and had to be reprogrammed twice.

I would not recommend this place. I would like a full refund of my reservation because it was not what I expected and it was not what was advertised.

Expedia should take them off of their places to stay.

The only thing that was good was the location. It was noisy but would have been better if the windows were thicker and the air conditioning worked properly along with the ceiling fan which made a lot of noise.

The people at the front desk didn’t care at all and didn’t want to make my stay pleasant. They didn’t even have a corkscrew. They wanted to have my drivers license as security for a beach towel. I need my drivers licens.

Could clearly hear people in other rooms and outside even from the third floor with all the windows closed. No parking was available, was directed to park at the garage across the street for $100/night even though every hotel around us had cheaper valet rates for overnight parking.

This hotel is so bad. The location is far away from central. There is only 2 restaurants and nothing is around. The room is so getto like staffs are not helpfully. They are not willing to help. And they treat customer like a prisoner. The room is so old and dirty, no hot water so i have to take a cold shower on the day Miami is so cold. The room was very cold and we had to fill up a trash can with water to flush the toilet. Also, yhe knob for the hot water in the shower was completely brokem off. The sheets were dirty or stained and the wash cloths were miceofiber towels. I didnt spend much time in my room so I made do with what I could. Parking was 30 a day and 90 were added for a resort fee and they charge 3 dollars for a can soda at the vending machine. No complimentary breakfast, no beach towels available. There was nothing resort about this establishment that should entail a resort fee.

Staff when we arrived was unpleasant. When we got to our room the room was opened already. The smoke detector kept on beeping due to low battery. The guy came in and took it off the wall and never returned back with it. No towels in the bathroom. The water in the bathroom was only cold. No hot water. Paper thin walls and could hear everything even when people going outside all hours of the night so don’t expect any sleep.

Do not let all the cute photos fool you there is no cute folded towels on arrival on your bed, there are zero amenities not even soap, bed was hard, pillows were flat and bedding wasn’t clean and white like the photos they had a nice shade of brown. We have never seen a more dilapitated so called hotel. They had skeleton keys for some of their door locks. Its dirty, the sheets are stained brown., so were the 2 towels provided. Took over 1 hre to get checked in at 4pm. We have had our share of horror stories. This one thrones the top! Very unfortunate.

Worst Stay Ever, Avoid at All Costs!

I wish I could give zero stars. The room was dirty, the sheets smelled weird, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi was basically nonexistent. On top of that, the staff were rude and completely unhelpful when I asked for anything. I felt like I was staying in a rundown motel. I will never come back and would strongly warn anyone considering this place to look elsewhere.

The room was clean. The lobby was nice, great for pictures! The staff was mostly helpful. Tony was the best! Over all the stay was good but I do have some complaints. First, the lack of amenities. When I say there were none, there were literally none. No microwave, no hair dryers, no tooth brushes, nothing you would normally expect to be able to get at a hotel. They don't even have wash cloths so be sure to bring your own. Also, it was freezing outside the weekend I visited (30 F at night), and the hotel never turned on the heat, so the entire building, including our room was cold. We had to close our vent due to it blowing cold air. The room key cards, were not good quality. They kept getting deactivated and we had to have them resent almost every day. Last thing is as I was leaving, I needed to use the elevator to bring down my luggage. The elevator has an exterior door that needs to be closed to operate. Well apparently someone on another floor didn't close it, and it got stuck there. When I went to the front desk and said it wasn't working she told me why it didn't work, and said she didn't feel like going upstairs to close it. I had a ride to the airport waiting on me so I ended up having to carry everything down the stairs. That was a horrible customer service moment but luckily the positive experience we had with the other staff members outweighed that one bad moment.

My room was really dirty, the manager was extremely rude. I asked for cups, “we don’t provide cups”. I also asked for ice “all we have is vending machines, no ice.” I have never stayed at a hotel where they don’t provide ice or cups. The fridge leaked water, my toilet seat was dirty, and the room didn’t smell clean. Very unpleasant stay and will never stay here again. Don’t recommend.

The person at the front desk when we got there had no customer service. Then the room wasn't ready for guest, the light switch at the door didn't turn on any lights, have to use my phone lights to find the bathroom light switch to get some light in room. The bathroom had no towels and the toilet wouldn't flush. We checked out as soon i returned off the road around 1am. It was a horrible experience

To start off it is not a 3* hotel. The pictures on here seem to be very edited or outdated. The rooms feel very different to what is advertised - very much in need of TLC. Sadly the bathroom really was not up to scratch, the water pressure was non existent, hot/cold water mixer was really not great, and there was one small sachet of shampoo for the stay. No hair drier either. Only one set of small and larger towel for two people. All in all felt very Spartan and slightly duped from the reviews on here (Google and other booking site reviews paint a better picture).
On the positive note the bed was comfortable and big, and the hotel is at a great location. Shame about the actual hotel.

The hotel is TRAP …. I arrived around 7pm and the guy front desk said the price of private parking lot is 30 USD per day , I said okay but when I showed up at the front desk at 11:00 pm they lock my car and charge me 100 USD just to took out the locker from my car wheel plus the 30 USD , that is ridiculous ,
Be careful when you are traveling don’t stay at the Notebook hotel at Miami Beach , also the room have only central air conditioning, that means you can control the temperature….

I am very uncomfortable with this situation

The room was super neglected, peeling old wall paper. Bed frame seemed like it was found in a dump. Hot in the room, no air-conditioning controls. Only 2 small towels, and they where very old and resembled rags. Staff was uninterested to assist with anything. Plus the elevator was old, rusted and seemed very questionable for safety. This building should be closed down. This \"hotel\" should not be on any travel website.

I stayed here for two nights. The place is dirty and very old. The shower did not work at all.

I reported the issue the first morning and was told maintenance would fix it around 10 a.m. When I returned at night, the shower was still not working. The front desk staff on duty said they had no record of the issue, offered no solution, and said there were no rooms available to move me.

I was also told that I should have stayed during business hours to make sure the repair was done, which is unreasonable. A hotel room without a working shower is not acceptable, especially after the problem was reported and acknowledged earlier in the day.

No alternative was offered. Very disappointing experience and poor communication (The lady that was there on Saturday January 24th at night was very very rude)

It was not as advertised….the rooms did not look like the pictures, it didn’t look clean, stains on the sheets, toilet was dirty, just disgusting. We had arrived late to the hotel around midnight I think, I went to the front desk and the gentleman named Tony was so helpful, he genuinely apologized and showed me 4 other rooms, which we decided on one of those rooms, because again we didn’t have any where to go at that time of night…next day, Miami was hottt, I looked around the room for the thermostat to turn on the air conditioner, there was NOT a thermostat in the room so I called the front desk in the afternoon (it was NOT Tony I spoke to unfortunately) to ask them to please turn on the air because it was hot and sweating bullets, the man tells me they can’t turn on the air until it reaches a certain temp outside in Miami, LIKE WHAT!!!! it’s HOT outside, this Miami …so we sweated profusely for 4 days…. When we checked out it was like 3am, Tony was at the desk and asks me am I ok because sweat was just pouring down, I explained what I was told by the other guy, and Tony was so appalled and apologetic of that situation and said he would speak to management. I will say Tony (overnight front desk clerk) definitely went above and beyond to accommodate us, I truly appreciate all the help he offered. He made our stay in Miami a little better and I appreciate him.

Staff at front desk is unhelpful and rude. Room was disgusting - hair all over the floor, live bugs, and a false eyelash on the bed. Internet is shaky at best and goes out every five minutes.

To start, it states early check in but we had to wait for the staff to clean all rooms before we could check in which ended up being at 4p when we were told we could check in at noon. The room was poorly cleaned dust everywhere, black mold in the shower, toilet did not want to flush. Was told from locals that the motel was considered a TRAP HOUSE! 😑 If it wasn't for the stay being non refundable we would have went else where.

Room had a bed with spindly legs with 2 of them nearly collapsing when my husband sat on the bed. He had to lay on the floor to straighten them out. No remote control for the tv and the front desk was unable to get us one. The worst part was we were on the first floor with a nonfrosted window in the bathroom that overlooked the main street and there was no shade or covering for it! Brings a whole new light on a room with a few.

Place is disgusting, staff is rude and unorganized. They blame each other on issues rather than finding you a solution. They won't give you towels, but they will give you bed bugs and no box spring under mattress so good luck for a comfortable sleep..place was a total joke complete waste of money

The room wasn’t swept at check in, someone else’s hair was found, and the walls are thin enough to hear neighboring rooms. At one point, I saw two rats fall out of a gutter.

The man at the check in charged me $25 to get in the room an hour early. The sheets were dingy and the comforter looked like it had some signs of a couple using it the night before. Bathroom was gross and overall hotel was a pit
