The hotel was very good, room clean, nice new shower. Staff were friendly, breakfast was very good with lots of options and the location was great for where I needed to be.

My only issue was being on the 1st floor. I must have been above the kitchen area because I was woken up about 5am with constant doors being banged shut.

Internet was intermittent room was clean and slow in getting serviced but it’s a big hotel so that’s not unusual. Location was great for all of London attractions shows and even being back to Heathrow was a short walk to the tube and a very quiet train ride right into Heathrow … I’d definite stay there again

The room was quite small but overall it was a good stay. The property is near my son’s school and multiple underground entrances. I wish we had something to put our suitcases on such as a suitcase stand. The room was quiet from the inside, but our room faced the street and you hear the hustle and bustle of the city… Which we don’t mind too much the staff was great and I felt it was safe with our entry key.

This is a clean, well-run hotel in a great location with a large breakfast buffet and a comfortable lounge and bar. Rooms are well laid out and decent in size. There are no amenities in the bathroom, however, but we had no problem purchasing body lotion at the local Boots. The sink is not only incredibly small, but the faucet juts out right into the center of it. There is no way to use it without splashing water all over the counter and the floor. Oddly enough, you get used to it and we would return on our next London visit.

Could of been another member of staff at check in, as a que had built up behind us. Room was very warm with no air conditioning, but we could open the window. Could do with an additional shower screen, as had to tilt shower towards the wall, not to soak the floor. Very noisy in the morning from building site from 7 o'clock. Bed was comfortable but on the small size

Good facilities and great location although it was a bit cold, even though the heating was in high. Bathroom floor is tiled so was like walking on ice - I had to lay towels down to walk on. Surprised there was no heated towel rail in there which would have taken the edge off. There was also scaffolding pipes being thrown around outside from early morning so noisy and cold was not an amazing experience!!

We were greeted at reception by Alexander who was so friendly, polite and helpful.Such a credit to the hotel .
The room and bathroom were very clean and the beds comfy.
The hotel is ideally placed for theatres and lots of places to eat.
The Italian cafe over the road in Russell square garden is wonderful.
This was my second visit to the hotel and I will definitely return.

The hotel gave me a room with heavy construction noise on the first night. I requested to move to another room after. The system reassigned me a smelly and non clean room. I went to the front desk and complained. The manager apologized to me and offer me free breakfast for the rest of my stay. It was not a good experience.

I like this hotel, it’s 5 minutes away from Rusell Square station. It takes about an hour to get to the airport with no transfers. The rooms are comfortable the staff is friendly and have great breakfast. I highly recommended this place

Clean rooms,comfortable beds,and excellent location make this hotel a great choice for Central London. Located in a quiet section of Bloomsbury but with many places to eat and the tube close by. Check out Solitude Bakehouse for some really good Almond Croissants.
I will definitely make this hotel my go to when I return to London.

Hotel room was very clean and very spacious. Beds were comfy and shower was nice. The lifts could only be used if you had a room key which was good security. There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the morning when walking through the corridor! The breakfast was nice a variety of hot and cold buffet style unfortunately the hot food was not that hot I’d say Luke warm at best but for the price of the hotel in a great location it was well worth the money! Staff were all pleasant too

I had a very pleasant stay at the President Hotel. The hotel is well located, making it easy to access the main attractions and business areas. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.

The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help with any requests. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good selection of dishes. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

I would highly recommend the President Hotel to both business and leisure travelers, and I would gladly stay here again.

I love The President Hotel! My 2nd year staying here and will be back next year. The price and location cannot be beat! On Friday night they had this amazing jazz band playing in the Atrium while we had after show drinks. I booked my room in July for $166/night. I also turned other friends on to the hotel who stayed there and had the same experience. Bravo President Hotel!!!!!!!

The first night i was there, there was a man knocking outside my door late at night at around 22.40pm. Me, being a small lady, staying alone, i was very scared.

I called the concierge and waited a very long time before someone picked up . I told the concierge lady about that, no one came to the room to check and there was no follow up phone call. I felt this was very bad. The staff should have ensured i was safe. They should have sent someone to check and let me know if they had seen anyone.

Very disappointed with the service.

I was not happy that no one informed me prior to my stay that the car park which was one of the specific reasons that I chose this hotel was now closed.
Had I not emailed to ask what the procedure was for parking I would have arrived with no other option in place which would have inconvenienced the beginning of my trip and been very annoying.
Customer service should inform clients if any changes to the hotel facilities in advance.

My review is that this hotel is a good value. There is nothing fancy with the rooms. The bathrooms are small and the room size was fine for 2 people who just slept and showered in the room. We liked the Russel Square location as it was close to the Tube(2 different lines). My other complaint is that in the rooms you can hear everything! So people talking in the hallway and any noise that they make so if you’re a light sleeper, you will hear everything.
