Simply Great

Situated in the vibrant Prenzlauer Berg district, the hotel offers easy access to local cafes, restaurants, and unique shops. It was easy to get around using public transport, with a tram stop just a short walk away, making it a perfect base for exploring all that Berlin has to offer.

The air conditioning was a welcome feature, However it did not work for us, occasionally we had to open the window to get some air.

Breakfast was good, It was a great way to start the day, with a wide selection of fresh and tasty options.

It reminded me of a cheap motel from the 80s, with a lingering aroma of cigarettes, a constant scream of sirens from the road below, staff who would rather you werent there. The carpets were all stained, our bathroom had broken tiles and black mold, our blinds were broken so they didnt shut and hot water changes temperature like a president changes tarrifs. And to top it off the hotel carpark was full so we were recommended to park at the Contipark around the corner who kept our car hostage as all pay machines were broken. Only good thing about our stay was the (additipnal cost) breakfast. We wont be back, and suggest others avoid this place also

Nice place to stay if you don’t want to be in the city center yet easy to get there by public transportation. The tram and subway are both very close to the hotel. I took a train to central station and found it was easy and much less expensive to take the tram with my luggage to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to access a gym just across the street at their sister hotel for no extra charge. Really great place to stay if you’re trying to stay on a budget.

The heating system was an air-conditioning which unfortunately did not operate the days who I stayed.

For the above reason, the room was cold and uncomfortable.

The WiFi was not always constant. It is really a pity and embarrassing.

The price per night was expensive for the quality, the facilities, the services which the hotel offered generally.

The private parking in the some complex of buildings costs 13,00 Euros per night its quite expensive too.

The employees in the reception desk, were polite, professional and well educated.

The Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Berlin Prenzlauer Berg is a fantastic stay. Very easy to reach from both airport (via train) and central Berlin (via tram). The staff are above friendly and accommodating, even helping to book daily travel tickets. The hotel and rooms are very clean. A big hit was the very reasonably priced breakfast, that catered for all appetites and food sensitivities/allergies.

Hotel is in a location with excellent transport links and shops locally. Staff on check in desk were friendly. Room was spacious and good size for a family of 4. The only negative was the beds! The pull out sofa bed was not comfortable at all as you could feel the bars from the sofa bed through the mattress, and the springs were noisy even with children using it, The 2 main single beds were quite hard.

Great hotel with absolute first class customer service. We only stayed here for couple a days as a family of 4 and had a beautyful room on the top floor. We had 2 interconnecting rooms (no doors) and they were clean and spacious. Slightly shame about the sofa bed being slightly uncomfortable, however our kids are still small so they were fine. Customer service in this hotel is the best we witnessed in Germany (they really do lack it) and everyone went above what we expected. Hotel is conveniently located few mins walk to the tram and from here you quickly can be right in the Berlin's centre. There are some free car parks around hotel, however we felt safer leaving it in secured paid parking which is in the same building as the hotel (just use the satnav to find the entry to hotel as it is a bit hidden). Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Highly recommend this hotel when in Berlin!!

Very mediocre hotel akin to a UK travelodge. Bathroom was tiny and the door didn't close properly. One tiny pillow on the bed. Bed was comfy and I slept well, that's about the best of it. The common areas were absolutely filthy. The area itself was also not the best. I'd be looking elsewhere.

This was a nice affordable option for my family of four. The room had a fold out couch and full sized bed. The service was excellent and they were very kind to accommodate our early arrival. The location is less than a block away from the train and tram for an easy 15 minute tram ride to Alexander Platz. Tasty pastries available in the lobby.

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel, the room is very well furnished, great desk and chair for computer work, overall a very relaxing room. The bed is extremely comfortable as are the pillows. No complaints regarding the room or breakfast which is also very good. Public transport options are right on your doorstep, there's a supermarket and pharmacy nearby too. One drawback was the relatively few eating options in the immediate area.

We visited Berlin as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and stayed at this lovely hotel where all the staff are extremely polite, friendly, professional and helpful! The people on the front desk were very welcoming and were able to help whenever we had a question.

The room was much bigger than we expected and everything was so clean! Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, although a little small, was perfectly adequate. The only thing that was a slight negative is that we were expecting 2 single beds for the teenagers but it was a sofa bed instead and was not comfortable at all (I've never found a sofa bed that is) which was a shame as we did SO much walking during the day, it would have been nice for them to get a comfortable night's sleep.

Housekeeping came and cleaned the room every 2 days, those that we saw always had a cheerful greeting for us and did a lovely job.

Breakfast was amazing, so much choice - literally something for everyone - and all the food was very tasty. A very good selection of cooked and cold meats, eggs, toast, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, juice, teas, coffee etc. Brenda, in the breakfast restaurant, always had a smile for all the guests.

There is a tram literally around the corner and it only takes about 13 minutes to get to Alexanderplatz with great transport connexions. We never waited more than a few minutes for a tram or a train.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel and would definitely stay here again if we go

Great budget find. Super comfortable beds, great amenities. Breakfast buffet wasn't the healthiest but has a range of options for everyone. This hotel is right by public transport and was very easy to get to and from. There's a grocery store and a chemist right next to the hotel. Very friendly staff. Rooms facing the street can be a wee bit noisy, but hey, it's a big city. Only real issue was that the WIFI barely worked - if you're here to work, it's not a good choice, but if you're going to be out exploring all day, no worries! Overall I'd absolutely recommend as a budget friendly base for exploring Berlin, and would come back in a heartbeat.

Very convenient location when travelling with BVG, as the stop is just outside the hotel. Very basic rooms, shower handle broken and mirror wasn't cleaned upon taking the room. Internet on the room not working during the entire stay, which was very annoying. Booking wasn't existing either (no idea why) so it took some time to get sorted.
Very friendly staff though (in the evenings) that were very helpful and customer oriented.

I had a lovely two nights stay here last month. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the room was spotless.

The bed is very comfortable (with a plug socket on either side), and the shower powerful. A comfy armchair and an opening window add to the room. My room (515) faced the inner courtyard, and even with the window open was quiet.

The breakfast was great, with a range of teas, condiments (including local honey) and a hot selection.

The tram outside was a bonus, I used it a few times each day, and the S-Bahn is next door. Downstairs is a DM, an apotheke and a REWE, so any supplies you might need are right nearby.

Would happily stay again, if in this part of Berlin.

We stayed at Vienna House Easy for a long weekend in June.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to a commuter train station and a tram stop, and there’s a supermarket and a pharmacy in the same building. Otherwise the neighborhood didn’t seem that nice, so we didn’t spend any time around there. Fortunately it takes only about 15 mins to the city center with the public transportation.

Our hotel room was really spacious. It wasn’t anything fancy but everything was clean and in good condition. The shower head was a bit wonky but did it’s job. We would’ve wished for a kettle in the room.

It was a really hot weather that weekend, so the down blankets were too warm. Unfortunately the hotel didn’t have any thinner ones. With the air conditioning it was hot under the blanket but cold outside the blanket, so the nights weren’t as comfortable as they could have.

We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel and didn’t ask the room to be cleaned during our stay. Overall it was a fine stay for - at the time - relatively low price.

We had the best time at this hotel. Once we figured out the transport links it was so easy to get about Berlin. You can purchase your 24 hour tickets at the hotel and the staff were so very accommodating and helpful. I truly would recommend staying here. They are dog friendly too

This is a really nice hotel, and an absolute steal for the price we paid. Very clean throughout. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help make your stay a pleasant one. Everything was exactly as described. The room was magnificent (king room). The staff was extremely friendly. The best thing was the breakfast, so much choice and all very yummy! I travelled to Berlin with my daughter. It is a lovely hotel , very reasonable priced. Extremely comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good with great choice try the smoothies. Staff were very polite and helpful. Very clean. Very near public transport and you can buy tickets for the SWay and U way from reception.

Great value for this cool and convenient hotel. Rooms are spacious (albeit with bathrooms on the small side). The included breakfast buffet is amazing. Easy access with S-Bahn and tram lines around the corner. I wished there were a fridge in the room.
Not many restaurants nearby but a supermarket and a pharmacy so that covers a lot of needs!

This place does not have airport shuttle as advertised. I booked biased of those two simple advertised perks that they do not have.

Fine hotel in Berlin

This hotel has rooms that provide comfortable furnishings, clean bathrooms, and plenty of space to store items. The hotel personnel are always competent and friendly, and they willingly engaged me in conversation each evening when I came back to the hotel. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. This is the hotel I choose when I am planning my trips to Berlin.

Great hotel in a good location! The public transport in Berlin is amazing, so it was so easy to get around everywhere. The breakfast every morning was delicious, a great way to start the day of sightseeing and the room was comfortable, very clean and had a nice look and feel to it, we loved the decor and how dark the room was at night. The only downside was that we had no fridge so we kept having to buy cold water which got very expensive, and the cleaner accidentally clogged our sink, which wasn’t fixed while we were there. Otherwise a great stay and would definitely come back if we ever visit Berlin again.
