This place is ideal in Venice easy to walk around very safe owner and everyone at the hotel is wonderful. Breakfasts are phenomenal. Water taxi back home came right to the canal at the rear of the dining area.

Very comfortable, great breakfast and snacks, amazing quiet location. We were worried that a trip to Venice would mean fighting off crowds, but this place was a sanctuary in a quiet neighborhood, yet walked to everything.

This was such a little gem in the craziness that can be Venice! It was a clean comfortable bed with excellent air conditioning in a quiet neighborhood area. We felt like it gave us the relaxation we needed to thorougly enjoy our time in Venice. The morning breakfasts aere wonderful, especially if you ate at the little open air table.

The room was lovely. I had a view of a canal. With the hustle and bustle of Venice, this is very close to the action, but on a quiet, peaceful side street. Also, you do gave to go over any bridges with your luggage from the water bus stop Ca'Doro.

It is a really perfect location--easily accessible from either the Grand Canal or the ferry from Murano and the airport. It's very close to dining of all kinds, as well as easy walking distance to the key Venice attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room, comfortable and charming. All the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was beautiful. We were able to have breakfast at an outside table near to the canal which was beautiful.
The only thing you need to be careful of is that we checkout at exactly 10:00am which was the checkout time but we still got charged a late checkout fee.

I had an excellent experience at Alla Vita Dorata. It's slightly off the beaten track, which means it's quiet and away from the tourist crowds. Yet, very close to the water bus stop from the airport and conveniently placed for the attractions.
Communication from the owner was excellent before my stay, and service whilst there was caring and friendly. The breakfast in particular deserves mention for the great selection and quality.
I'm hoping that I will be able to return to Venice, and Alla Vita Dorata, in the future.

Nice breakfast and one table on small balcony on water that was a great photo opportunity. Close to Ca’ D’ Oro water bus stop which was only 4 stops from train station. In cute area with newspaper stand and market around the corner. Cute room with great shower. Only 15 minutes to St Marks square.

Very conveniently located especially for the water bus that takes you to the airport. Breakfast was nice and coffee machine a big hit! Smart TV in room was great so it felt like a home from home. The main highlight was also meeting Chiro the dog who sometimes helps out at reception. Thanks for a fabulous time!

We enjoyed a great 3 night stay at this property in room 3 which is on the ground floor looking over the canal. Even in September, the crowds in and around Piazza San Marco were intense and it was nice to walk into a quiet neighborhood without hustling around swarms of people. It’s not a long walk to either San Marco, Rialto Bridge and Fondeco dei Tedeschi or the vaporettos to Murano etc from Fondamente Nove.
I used google maps (get an international cell plan from your carrier before you leave the US) to navigate the narrow streets and we never got lost. Using that, there really is no need to be in a hotel nearer the attractions. At the end of our trip we booked a water taxi to the airport which came right to the Alla Vite Dorata dock. Very convenient. There is a good buffet breakfast served each morning and cookies and tea available in the afternoon. The rooms have a safe for your passport and valuables - not that we felt we needed one.
Ristorante Vecia Cavana is 2 minutes walk and was good enough for us to eat dinner at for two of our three nights.

Our room was clean, nicely decorated and cozy with all the neccessary amenities. Aircon is cool, a perfect place to relax after exploring Venice. A coop just few step away and delicious restos with the area. Walkable to tourist spots the rialto area and san marco square. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. A good start for the day. This is a really nice B&B alll renovated but old world charm.. on the canal with a sitting area on a dock/deck ..5 to 8 minute walk to 2 ferry bus stops ..breakfast was great.. would definitely recommend

Stayed for just one night and location was great for making the most of my time, being just a short walking distance from many of the city's main attractions. The staff were also very accommodating about storing my luggage.
I was in a room right next to the main entrance, which I thought might be too noisy, but it was absolutely fine during the night (although there were some loud deliveries outside in the morning). Everything was clean and beautifully presented and I would happily stay there again!

This place is truly wonderful. It is down a quiet little street right on a canal. The staff are so so kind and helpful (special thank you to Natasha). There are umbrellas at the door for use, a book shelf with both regular and tour books. The included breakfast is fantastic. There is one table outside on the canal and we often brought takeaway food for dinner back to the hotel and sat out there. The bathroom has a fantastic shower with 3 options (regular, waterfall or wand). Grocery store nearby. 20 minute walk from train station. Probably my favourite place of all the places in Italy I stayed. Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for our anniversary. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, especially the owner who took the time to chat to us throughout our stay, giving us recommendations and teaching us some Italian words. We had a room with a view of the canal which was lovely being able to see and hear the water. The room was spacious and very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. We loved the small balcony area over the canal and would often enjoy a drink out there in the afternoon watching the boats go by and enjoying the peace. We also loved the fact that there were tea and coffee making facilities available throughout the day. The hotel is in a great location, with a supermarket round the corner and a short walk to the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square. There are a number of restaurants and bars close by and piers to take both public transport and water taxis. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back again!
