CA ' DE LA FONTE is a modern renovation of two apartments, which are divided into 9 rooms totally independent and with private bathroom. The apartments are equipped with modern home automation that allows you to enjoy the spaces IN a flexible and customizable way.
To make the atmosphere special there is a private garden with a fountain and a centenary wisteria that arrives to cover a beautiful terrace on the second floor, which was divided to make it usable by two different rooms IN total PRIVACY.

We had 2 rooms for 3 nights. I gave an overall rating a 3 because our room was a 4 and our kids room was a 2. Our room was comfortable with a nice bathroom and was updated and modern though small. Our kids (teenagers) however was very small, and with no air conditioning was at least 90 degrees at all times. We asked for their heat to be turned off and they said that was not possible. all our travels I have never seen a room that hot. Their headboards were peeling and the room reminded me more of a hostel than a hotel. Their toilet would continuously run and to fix this they were taught to pull the flushing fixture off the wall and press the button in the hole. If they opened their window’s mosquitos filled the room.
Having said that, my wife and my experience was much better and we liked our room and the location of the hotel was excellent. Everything in Venice is walking distance no matter where you stay but we liked our neighbourhood and it was away from the crowds, which was important during the day as the crowds were extreme. We stayed in room # 16 and the kids were #13, so ask for our room and if you get it you will enjoy this hotel. Water taxi picked us up to take us to the airport right outside the door of their main hotel, which was expensive (150 euros) but very convenient and was a 15 minute ride to Marco Polo airport.

Excellent location. Our room was ok, the water pump in the utility room below us went off every 5 mins (sounded like a city bus trying to hear up, then stop again). Didn’t make for a good sleep for the 4 nights we were there but the room was clean and the staff was excellent. I would not recommend staying in room 22.

There was also a quaint little courtyard behind the hotel. Donna at the front desk was lovely. She was pleasant and very helpful! I had a glitch & some questions before our stay & she helped me with everything! The hotel was close to restaurants & shops & walking distance to sights and the vaporetto. Our stay was way too short - I would love to return - and I would definitely stay here again!

Location: walkable distance to landmarks without taking the water bus. A 25 minute walk from train station to the check in place or a 5 minute walk after water bus. For Venice, the walking is enjoyable under May fine bright weather along water. One note, same as many buildings in Venice, this building has no elevator. You check in a Ca' D'Oro hotel and they take you to Ca' De La Fonte. It's a fairly easy walk from Fondamente Nova stop on the Alilaguna Blue Line from Marco Polo Airport. The accommodation is in a quiet place and has a lovely little courtyard. The room was very clean and modern, including English language TV channels and a fridge with free snacks and water. There's a Coop to buy snacks around the corner too. It's 10-15 minutes walk to most major attractions. This is a perfect choice for people who would like a more quiet, local feel. You can still do the tourist things but then rest somewhere more relaxing and see the real Venice.

Hotel was really nice, room were clean. Easy to get to and all major points are 20-25 minute walk. Our only issue is in the description they indicate to have air conditioning but they did not turn it on or let us adjust temperature to our liking. They indicate the it is an Italian law but that is not true. Every time we came back to the room we had to leave windows and terrace window to try and cool the room.

Great property with a large main room and a terrace. Very quiet and secluded, away from the major tourist areas - but walking distance to dining and shopping. Also, a 5 min walk from the Fte Nuove boat dock, which is how we traveled to/from the airport and to Murano. The staff (at nearby Hotel Cadoro where we checked in) were very friendly and had many helpful tips and dining recommendations. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and hope to return someday soon. Grazi!

This place is amazing! Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but easily walkable to a multitude of places, including a supermarket and a cafe around the corner that serves great cappuccino.

What I loved about this hotel was its cleanliness and beautiful design. The room had a minimalist and modern vibe, featuring a loft-style bed with stairs—such a unique touch! The garden added a nice bit of greenery, and thankfully, the air conditioning was perfect for the hot Venetian weather. My family and I really enjoyed our stay; we absolutely loved the room! We actually took a video of it and posted it on my instagram:)

The staff was excellent to deal with. We were able to get our room a bit early which was very convenient. The location is great-walkable to all the key places in Venice. There was a grocery store less that was 2 minutes away. The place was clean and included a stack of folded towels and slippers for all guests. There were a few snacks available to eat as well.

We loved the interior design of this room especially the loft which has a full size bed. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom looked new and well-kept. There were several power sockets all over the facility. As far as accessibility they are 4 minutes walk to and from the water bus which is one of the few means of transportation available. Will recommend this place to friends and family.

This hotel was a little gem. From the outside it didnt look like much but it surpassed its self on the inside. We had 3 suites and they were breath taking. One had a little gem of a roof terrace and one had access to the cute court yard.
