Quick Overnighter in Venice
Hotel was fairly easy to fjnd thanks to the correspondence from the hotel the day before we arrived. Receptionists both days were very nice and helpful. Rooms were adequate but a bit tired, however I didnt expect luxury for the price we paid. Not many useable sockets in the room but did find 2 in the end. My bed was quite lumpy but my friend in another room didnt report the same issue. Bathroom was dated but adequate and the water was hot and water pressure good. View over the Grand Canal from the opening juliet balcony was beautiful. Overall a decent stay in a lovely city.

Beautiful spacious room. Coffee/tea in room. Hotel is in a great location for shopping and dining. Venice is about walking, so no matter where you stay, you'll be walking. Staff were informative and genuinely interested in making your stay comfortable. Breakfast was available for like 10 euros. The view out the dining area window is stunning and photo worthy. The entrance to the courtyard type area is also stunning; large doors; very authentic. Thank you for a great stay.

Is a great location and a nice view from the buffet area and the location was just perfect I visit all places I wanted by walking however the AC was not cooling enough i didn’t slept well due to that but on my understanding most places in Italy are like this. Is an old building and the shower had some black mold. The staff was great and ask if we needed anything they are very attentive!!

First off, yes, the floors are uneven! I’ve read this in other reviews. But listen to me, the foundation was set in 1714 and the entire building dates back to the late 1700’’s!! Also, every single building in Venice is crooked!! Every one! It didn’t bother us one single bit because this hotel is literally a 2 minute walk down a great shopping street with great food options! It’s location very close to the #1 canal boat stop Ca D’Oro. The #1 boat is to the far right as soon as you come out of the train station and that’s the boat that zig-zags back and forth across the main canal at all stops. It stops at Ca D’Oro every 10/15 minutes. The staff here is AMAZING!! Ready to help, always super nice, the rooms are small and rustic but there’s a canal view in the main room! It’s a super old building but it’s right in the middle of the best area! You can walk all over from here and it’s 10 minutes or less from the train station! Really great place to stay! Highly recommend! We would stay there again no problem at all.

We checked in late, around 11:30 pm due to our flight being delayed. We called the hotel to let them know we would be arriving late, and they accommodated this by having someone stay late to check us in. This is an authentic, traditional Italian property. Very charming, with a fantastic view and location. We were very happy with our choice.

This hotel is in the middle of all shopping and very close to St Mark square. It in quite charming and a great place to stay. We stayed there on our last night in Venice, if we knew about this place in advance that's where we would stay for the nights we stayed in Venice. For a small boutique hotel the was everything for our comfort, the room was clean and nicely furnish. it also include a continental breakfast. Most of all it was on the water. You will need to take a water taxi to get there or walk about 15 minutes from the train station or 20 minutes from the bus.

We stayed for 3 nights after the cruise, it's lovely, quite hotel with 12 rooms, check in was quick and easy ,staff friendly and helpful, the lounge area door open to view the grand canal below, breakfast was good with cereals, pastry, juice , cappuccino and eggs available. Hotel location easy 5 mins walk to Rialto bridge and 10-15mins to San Marco square,overall we enjoyed our stay, would come back again.

No Hot Water
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Two of the days we had no hot water. The first day we didn't have it and the hotel said they were getting it looked after. The second day was fine but then on our third day back to no hot water. Not a nice experience when one is out sightseeing all day and can't come home to clean up. To top it off, it was quite cool during our stay and there was no heating as well.

Loved our stay in Venice. Hotel was adequate. Nice continental breakfast which included the option of scrambled eggs. We stayed in the family suite which was spacious. Just a couple of complaints: the showers ran cold very quickly so we had to take our showers at different times (several other guests had experienced the same problem). The rooms were quite chilly, apparently the heating does not get switched on until the 1st November. The lounge was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the Grand Canal. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Very peaceful during the night - wonderful that there is no traffic noise but the church bells do ring out at 7am!

we had 2 rooms so that teenagers had own space. Both rooms were clean and cleaned beautifully. Breakfast was good ,with, if you wished freshly made scrambled eggs.Other normal cereals, toast, yoghut ,croissants ,fruit etc.Juices ,tea and coffee too . Just what we needed
Having spent two weeks in Italy, Venice was our last stop. The hotel is located on a beautiful canal about a 10-15 minute walk to San Marco. This allows you to \"get lost in Venice\" on your way to sights. The hotel staff was very friendly, called restaurants to make reservations for us, and explained how to get to the airport by boat. The rooms are big by Italian standards but have a slightly outdated feel (everything in Venice is old). Please note that there is not a stocked bar in the Venetian lounge.
Breakfast is included with your room. You have your choice of espresso, cappuccino, or American style coffee, as well as eggs, pastries, ham, cheese, whole fruit, yogurt, and cereal.
We ended each afternoon by buying a bottle of wine at the nearby COOP and drinking it on the private dock with our feet dangling in the water. It was the best view of Venice and a great way to relax.

Had a nice stay at hotel. Was in a good location with walking distance of a St Marks Square. We had a room facing the Canal and loved watching the activities on the canals with passing boats and the hotel is opposite fish markets so that provided interesting viewing. Had a lovely big room. Very old style hotel & room but fits the Venice style. Room was clean. Breakfast was nice too. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We got a ferry pass and enjoyed this form of transport as Venice in June was very crowded. Hotel has a small elevator which was very handy.

Nice little hotel in Venice
only stayed two days, but very nice. Great views of the Grand Canal. But don't be fooled, it is not 10 minutes from San Marco square, at least not in our experience. Venice is composed of very small streets/alleys, which are not straight, and change names every \"block\". Maps are all but worthless; keep your eyes on the yellow signs that direct you to a site of interest.

Decent if basic hotel.Arrived late, but followed instrutions for late arrival with no problems. Good base for exploring Venice. Staff friendly, did not need any assistance from them, so cant comment on level of helpfulness. Beakfast usual continental fare plus they will do you some scrambled egg. Lounge has view onto Grand Canal though you have to stand on small narrow balcony to see anything. Our room did not have aircon. Not a problem in April when we stayed.

Great hotel, Small, only a handful of rooms Nice old typical Venice building. They also have a small lift that works great. Have to climb many stairs, but only if you wish to do so. There is a large common sitting area, overlooks Grand Canal that we used and it is also comfortable. There in off season so it was not busy.

Hotel is easy to find (not always true in Venice), a vaporetto stop is near the hotel and then a three minute walk on the Strada Nuova to the hotel. It is located on the third floor, but there is a small lift so you don't have to carry bags. Staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. Location is close to Rialto Bridge and many restaurants and shops, but away from the crowds. There is also a grocery nearby, if you need it. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is served, typical continental breakfast, but everything was very good. There is also a common area with a balcony that overlooks the Grand Canal. It is too small to sit, but it is great to view the Canal and the activity below. There is a small museum in the same building on the lower floor. Would definitely stay there again if we return to Venice.
