A very pleasant stay.
The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for one person (would feel a bit tight for two, but ideal solo). The hotel is well located in Cannaregio, slightly away from the busiest areas, which made it noticeably quieter while still very walkable.

Reception was a highlight: the two women at the desk were genuinely lovely and welcoming throughout my stay.

Breakfast was good and perfectly fine when included, though I probably wouldn’t pay extra for it separately. No need for extensive facilities, everything worked as it should, and the overall experience was smooth and comfortable.

I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, a short walk from the water bus as well as a main street. This kept it quiet in the late evenings and early mornings.

Staff was very welcoming and made excellent recommendations for dinner, transportation, etc.

A wonderful breakfast was included with our rate. Fresh, hot and cold items.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. (Bed felt medium/firm to us) We appreciated the amenities too.

This hotel is a little off of the beaten path, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms are a bit outdated, but that did not take away from our experience. We would stay here again.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Italy 🇮🇹. Nada was very nice and friendly she welcomed me warmly, explained everything about the hotel, and even gave me a map with helpful tips to explore the city. The rooms are modern, spotless, and beautifully decorated I especially loved the green color theme. The location is also great: just a 4-minute walk to the water taxi and about 15–30 minutes from the main attractions, depending on your pace. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. I truly enjoyed my stay here!

A very reasonably priced hotel in Venice overlooking a canal and extremely walkable to all the sights in Venice. Easy to get to from the boat stop (beware pickpockets!). Room was very spacious - we had a suite as my husband and I were travelling with our 20year old daughter and there was a large sofa bed made up for her in the sitting room that she said was comfortable. Friendly and professional staff who were also very welcoming to our dog

It’s a beautiful hotel on a canal! We had a full wall of windows overlooking the canal and it was wonderful.

The location was also quiet and out-of-the-way, but still close to main areas like the Rialto Bridge, restaurants, and shopping.

We loved the breakfast buffet and the easy walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and attractions. Our stay at this hotel in Venice was nothing short of a nightmare. We were placed in room on the second floor—a dirty, stuffy space with a broken safe, a non-functioning air conditioner, broken closet door, and a suffocating atmosphere that made it nearly impossible to sleep. The floor was slanted, making it impossible to keep anything steady on the table, and the hairdryer was useless—its stand broken and the device itself not working. To make matters worse, there was an exposed and broken outlet in the bathroom, a serious safety hazard considering the 220-volt electricity supply. Despite being advertised with a canal view, the only glimpse we got was by bending awkwardly out the window. On the first night, unable to endure the heat and lack of air, we had to be moved in the middle of the night to another room temporarily, leaving our belongings behind. The next morning, no manager was available to address the situation, no matter how many times we asked. Simon, one of the hotel attendants, promised us a refund for the first night and swore he would resign if the refund wasn’t processed. It's now been nearly two weeks since our return, and we’ve heard nothing. We've sent follow-up emails, and while they continue to request our bank information, no refund has been issued. This hotel is run by unprofessionals, and if there is a manager, they clearly don’t care about their guests’ experiences. If you're thinking about staying here—be my guest. But don't say you weren't warned.

Estuvo muy bueno. Recomiendo que se le hagan algunas remodelaciones a los cuartos, pero tengo que decir que el personal fue excelente. Nos ayudaron en todo muy amablemente y nos teníamos que ir a las 6am así que nos dejaron dos bolsas preparadas con snacks, agua, frutas, etc, para que no nos fueramos sin alimentos al viaje. De veras que el servicio es excelente. Los cuartos pueden recibir algunas remodelaciones.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable — perfect after a long day of exploring.

The location is fantastic — just a short walk to shopping and major sightseeing spots. Being right on the canal truly gave it that authentic Venetian experience. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus and absolutely delicious.

Because it was April and not later in the year they said they do not turn on the A/C until it is much hotter. So needless to say our room felt like a sauna. Great little hotel!

This was such a lovely hotel with a view of a quiet canal on a street that wasn't chaotic like the rest of Venice, which we really appreciated. Overall getting to Venice is quite an undertaking (especially with big luggage) but this hotel made it worthwhile. They offer a daily afternoon tea that was a pleasant surprise; it included coffee, tea, water and some snacks which is so nice after a long day of travel. The breakfast wasn't great, so that is one thing I would do differently: go elsewhere for breakfast. We booked a large room that was amazing, with really high ceilings and a lot of space in the room. The bathroom, however, was very European, aka TINY, but the larger bedroom made it worthwhile.

The staff was friendly and the location safe and quite. We visited in April and didnt need AC but only by opening the windows which let in the mosquitos as there are no screens on the windows :( thats about the only thing we had to complain about. Front desk told me they only turn on AC during the summer.

We booked the suite and believe this is the only suite they have. The front desk was friendly and helpful! The check in process is very smooth. We was give a bottle of wine on a daily basis and the complimentary waters were enough to last the entire stay. The bed was huge and comfortable! The pullout sofa bed is very comfortable and our 12 and 16 year old ones were happy. The location is perfect! Overall we highly recommend this place!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating for our group of 14. They helped us print tickets, schedule taxi’s etc. Water taxi pickup is right outside. The hotel is within 3 minutes walking distance to shopping, 7 minutes to gondolas and 15 minutes to major attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Great little upscale hotel in a quiet neighborhood fronting right onto a Venetian canal. Our water taxi pulled right up to the logia at the hotel’s front door. The staff was efficient and had great dining suggestions. It’s a short 5 minute walk to bars, restaurants and shopping in a far less touristy area. Our room was very large with 2 levels, a full sitting room on the main floor with the bed room on the upper floor with all the walls clad with padded Venetian fabric. Our room had a walkout balcony and a modern marble-clad bathroom. Very elegant! The building is ancient but renovated inside. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay again and highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

This property was wonderful and so perfectly located in a nice neighborhood. My husband got very ill and had to have emergency surgery. The staff given the circumstances were absolutely amazing with their support and were so helpful. The manager, Anis (sp?) I can not say enough about how great she was! I would stay there again.

Hotel Maison Venezia is a very nice property located just off the main street in Venice, which is quiet, clean and safe.
Spacious clean room, very comfortable bed. Staffs are nice. There is free afternoon tea in the lobby area, and 12pm check out was prefect.
Hotel has a bit funny smell when you enter. But it’s just because this city sits on the water. Don’t think it’s hotel’s problem.

A nice hotel but it needs a facelift. Most of the staff was super supportive and friendly. One thing I didn’t like was that breakfast had time slots and one of the staffers told us that only way to get to airport was by private boat taxi costing about $140 euros. That was not true.

The property is lovely and located at the end of a quiet street. The staff were helpful and friendly in every interaction. It felt like we had easy access to the main attractions without too much walking and could easily retreat back to our hotel when we wanted. Being kind of tucked away from the main piazzas allowed us to stroll past many local restaurants and cafes that were delicious and less expensive than those in the touristy areas. The only downsides were that the A/C struggled to keep up with the heat, the shower needed maintenance, and the onsite breakfast was a little pricey. That said, we definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to a friend.

Highly recommend this hotel for a 2 night pre cruise stay! We took a water taxi from Venice Airport to our hotel which is an incredible way to arrive in Venice. They dropped us off within a 3 minute walk to the hotel. Room was great with a bedroom loft and small balcony. Staff was very attentive and gave excellent tips to improve our stay. They even lent us 2 power adapters to use during our stay. Complimentary afternoon snack buffet too. When it was time to get to Trieste to board our cruise we simply took the water taxi which was a 3 minute walk to board and then a 15 minute ride. Pre purchase your train ticket and take an early train to avoid missing your cruise. Stop searching for your Venice hotel and book this one!

I neat area right on the edge of the residential neighborhoods, but very close to lots of options for sight seeing. But the AC in the rooms were extremely underpowered. Our room was constantly 10 degrees warmer than the hallway and 5 degrees warmer than anything remotely comfortable. Front desk said there was nothing they could do about it. The room was spacious and looked nice, but there were lots of little things that you could tell the property may not be attended to as much as it probably should be. Nice overall, but I wouldn't stay here in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Venezia. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our Suite was so spacious and elegantly decorated with classic Venetian style in green with fancy chandeliers. It was clean and comfortable with a nice view. Luxury toiletries were provided in the bathroom. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. The location is safe and quiet, but convenient. It is only about 15 mins walking to St. Mark's Square and other attractions. Private water taxi is just next door. Definitely will come back again!!!

Nice property close to one of the main shopping streets. Lots of restaurants close by and has water taxi drop off right in front of the hotel. Staff was very helpful with everything from giving a thorough orientation and map to arranging transportation. Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for Carnivale and Valentine's Day, five nights with breakfast as part of a flight-hotel package. Hotel staff were all very kind and lovely. Continental breakfast had hot options and were plentiful; there is also tea, espresso drinks, and biscuits available for guests in the afternoons in the lounge. Esperesso machine in room with pods is free, with paid mini-bar fridge options. The room size was generous and very warm with an adjustable thermostat; we were cozy despite the cold weather outside. Quiet area yet close to a main street and easily accessible to the main areas of Venice. Small extras that made it exceptional were: packed breakfast when we had to leave early the next morning; Valentine's Day chocolates left for us to enjoy fo free in the room. Only small complaint is that there isn't a Smart TV and therefore no English entertainment options, and a repeated sound like a sliding door upstairs (maybe a water pump?) would disturb light sleepers.

Sometimes hotels in Venice over promise and underwhelm. Not the case here. There was a confident grace about everything and everyone here. Consistent warm salutations and pro-active offers to help make the stay pleasant - from breakfast options to luggage storage to the oversized bath towels and in-room coffee makers. It was all in service of a soft landing from a day full of the city’s hard surfaces and the frenetic ping ponging, u-turning and lost in their cell phones, fellow wanderers. I loved the quite neighborhood and the stillness of it all. I’d stay here again for sure.

FYI: solo traveler here on casual business. I can’t speak to any other rooms besides the standard room w double bed (perfect comfy size) but I can attest that the couple next door thoroughly enjoyed their room as well ;-)
