The facility can not handle a large group. This was a large week for the hotels d/t sporting event near by i had to get another room because A/C did not work. and had to have a handicap room but was not given one as next option diff to handle towels were an issue for A LOt of people the ice machine did not work on any floor which was needed for children. an elevator was not running so took 30 min to get from lobby to floor. pool was cleaned mid day so not useable they said in add white beaches. not any where near hotel also said breakfast available restaurant provide bagels if at all only open f5-10 no bar. staff was good to me but i heard a lot of issues while waiting at elevator and staff not nice to people who voiced issues

I didn’t like this place. The best part was the staff was great and the pool was great. I didn’t feel like it was that clean. They were fast with us and very helpful being we didn’t want to stay and explained what we needed to do to cancel our other 2 nights. Just you are looking for a good swim and a night to just sleep this is your place. Parking was good, didn’t try restaurant that was attached, easy to get to.

The rooms were clean and spacious enough at a good price point. The hotel itself had very few flaws. The ice machine on the 6th floor was removed, the one on the 5th worked fine, and the 4th was either shut off or out of service. Also, one elevator was out of service, which made wait times longer, especially during the day when shared with housekeeping. However, all of that was bearable. But no matter how nice and courteous the front desk were, there was a major disconnect between their answers and actions. At check-in my room didn't have face towels. The next morning housekeeping said to call the front desk, I did and they never brought any up, Two days later in the morning before heading to the flea market, I asked housekeeping for fresh towels, face towels, and trash removal. She said tell the front desk. So I talked to the front desk personally and asked for a light cleaning, just trash and fresh towels, and they politely acknowledged. Upon return that afternoon, my room was untouched. I called the front desk and they apologized and said housekeeping was still on-site and aware, and that they would contact them as a reminder. By nightfall, I explained to the receptionist that I've patiently waitied my entire stay for face towels. So she brought two face towels and a drying towel up to the room that night. She said the rest were drying and security would run them up later that night. Eventhough every encounter was pleasant, unfortunately it never happened before check-out.

The pool was a no no , the room was cleaned had plenty of good towels thick , the staff that checked me in was very perfessional and friendly, one of the elevator was not working and the wait was very long especially at check-out but if I went back I might stay there again because , it rated high just fix the elevator and set up a floor where people with kids can stay because a child jumped on the floor each night and running back and forth screaming, each night when it's bed time .

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I cannot believe Wyndham would market such a place for occupancy, what a disappointment for such a great brand company.
1. Parking lot and entrance to building uninviting 2. Strong musty order throughout
3. Two elevators, only one working on my arrival 4. Long wait 5-10 minutes 5. Halls have vinyl floors which is noisy and vinyl titles are detaching from the support floor causing them to bubble up and present a bubble effect when walking on them 6. The hallways are extremely noisy because they are not carpet 7. The decor is awful and looks old and worn 8. My room required changing because something was dripping onto something with a sound of a ball hitting against a wall from outside the facility 9. The place is just loud with old doors and locking mechanisms on them 10. I also saw and took a picture of a live roach in my room 11, When it came time for me to leave with my luggage in tow a sign was on both of the elevators now \"Both elevators are out of order\". The first elevator was out for two weeks before my arrival now both of them, so, down the stairwell with luggage from the 5th floor. I hope this hotel is scheduled for a 100% renovation and soon or just close it down or demolish it. It's just that bad. I hope this place is not in such poor condition because of the clientele I saw while there. I will say that the front desk staff were very nice and professional.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. As soon as I walked into the room, I found and killed a roach in the bathroom. That immediately made me question the cleanliness of the room, and I no longer felt comfortable staying there.

Because of this, I checked out within minutes of arriving. I expected a clean, pest-free room, especially after paying for my stay. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below my expectations, and I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

I checked in around 3:30 PM and was assigned a room on the 4th floor. As soon as I entered the room, I noticed spots on the bed sheets. I immediately contacted the front desk and was told someone from housekeeping would come replace them.

By 5:45 PM, no one had come, so I went back to the front desk. I was assured they would notify housekeeping again. I left for a few hours to run errands and returned around 9:00 PM, only to find that the sheets had still not been changed.
When I called the front desk again, I was told, “Well, we put the request in. I can get you the sheets and you could change them.” I found that response unacceptable. I was on vacation and certainly didn’t expect to make my own bed because housekeeping failed to do their job.
The front desk then offered to move us to another room on the 5th floor. After packing up all of our belongings and relocating, we walked into the new room and immediately found roaches. At that point, I requested a full refund because the conditions were completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, one of the elevators was out of service the entire time, and there was a strong mildew odor throughout the property, especially when entering the building. While on the 4th floor, I also spoke with several other guests who told me they had requested new rooms because of the smell as well.
As of today, I am still waiting for my refund. Between the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, and pest problem, this was the worst hotel experi

The reason for my three stars is because there was one elevator that wasn’t working so it took a while to go back and forth to the room, also there is no hot breakfast option. Staff was friendly, checking in and out was smooth. There was no ice machine either, people were making noises almost at all times.

Only one elevator was working, and it was slow due to the number of guests needing to use it. The air conditioner in one of our rooms wasn't working well, it was too hot, though we didn't mention it to management because my son said he was fine. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall it was a good stay and I wouldn't mind returning.

I booked my stay through Expedia. Although the reviews were mixed, I decided to give the hotel a chance. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.

From the moment we arrived, there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the lobby, hallways, and even in our room. There were also children running through the hallways and making a lot of noise, which made it difficult to relax.

The first room we were given was not clean. The floors, sheets, and bathroom all appeared dirty. After speaking with management, they kindly moved us to another room, but unfortunately, the second room was not much better.

I do want to recognize the staff, especially the management, for being very polite, professional, and understanding. The manager listened to my concerns the following day and was extremely accommodating. Since I didn’t feel comfortable staying for the two nights I had booked, he refunded my stay, which I truly appreciated.

In my opinion, this hotel is in need of significant renovations. The rooms, bedding, towels, and overall cleanliness could all use major improvements. The one thing the positive reviews got absolutely right was the staff—they were friendly, courteous, and genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, despite their excellent customer service, the condition of the hotel did not meet my expectations.

Management is terrible, found a dirty wash cloth on the shower curtain pole, toilet water running all night , AC rattling all night, draw on night stand keeps opening. Manager not there until 9:30 am , I had an early checkout and left a message from front desk for manager to call back and he never called the customer back. I had to call him back 4 times but didn’t received any compensation for the above issues.

The room was very comfortable, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. One downside is no ice maker available on first 3 floors and one of their 2 elevators was out. They were quite busy so an elevator ride could take some time. Had to share it with cleaning carts & maintenance carts. That was not such a big problem, just a little aggravating. We stayed 2 weeks for treatments at mayo clinic. If you need similar situation this hotel is really convenient. Straight out 202 to San pablo road. Price was right through hotels.com too.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. During our stay we encountered multiple cockroaches in the room, including inside the dresser drawers where our family’s clothing was stored. Traveling with a 16-month-old and a 6-year-old, we ended up staying awake until around 2:00 AM dealing with the issue after an exhausting 17-hour international flight.

The hotel offered a room change late at night after our children were already asleep, which was not a practical solution. We ultimately had to pack, relocate, and wash our belongings due to concerns about contamination.

The staff was polite, but the condition of the room was unacceptable. I would strongly encourage management to address the pest control issues so future guests do not have a similar experience.

Song of the tiles when we ask for extra towels, they were not white they were beige. The bathrooms were really small and shower didn’t seem too clean to me. The desk by the TV was dirty. And the fact that y’all don’t have breakfast is not a good look the restaurant you have to order online and they charge you triple the amount then what it’s worth very upset about the stay.

This hotels has been one of the worst places I have stayed. I booked there because of the location and the price was convenient to book 3 rooms, but I did know it will be this bad. People smoking outside the hotel, place was not clean inside nor outside. The rooms smelled so bad and sheets were deteriorated, the floor was not clean, the bathrooms were clean properly even the toilets were stained. Just horrible and disgusting.

It's like a TEMU Wyndham .. has the name but is like a cheap knock-off that just doesn't fit right

The check-in was rude. I showed up 10 min before check-in and was informed that she normally would charge me $30 for early check-in, but this time she would let it slide. Then proceeded to lecture me the whole check-in about how hotels only do check-ins between 3-4pm. I finally replied that was why I was there only 10 min early.

Then got to room and it smelled like \"fart\", I assume mildew.

Then door kept opening back up & the lock did not work.

The a/c worked very well but didn't elementare the smell.

Bathroom door kept sticking shut and I had throw body weight against it to get it open or closed. So either of us using the restroom at night woke the other person.

It did seem mostly clean but most the metal in the bathroom was all rusting.

The desk chair leans to the right and could not be used.

I appreciated the digital checkout but will never be back.

Wyndham Gardens has become my go to Jacksonville hotel for short trips and I have enjoyed the hotel. This location has been perfect for our 1-2 nights stays for concerts and shows. Only a 15 minute drive to the stadium and plenty of restaurants and attractions. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, hotel including the lobby, hallways and room are clean and comfortable. There's no complimentary breakfast but there is a restaurant attached (prices are a bit steep) and places to eat close by, for longer stays that may be a draw back but for the 1-2 nights stays I do it has been fine.

Keeping in mind the price we paid this hotel was a great value. You can not expect a 5 star resort for less than a $100 dollars a night during Memorial day weekend. The staff was nice and accommodating, even moved us to a different room due to an issue the first room we were given had.
The beds were good and the room had just enough room for my family of 4.
The air conditioning worked really well, and the location is a good spot so that you are close enough to various points in Jacksonville.

Some stuff in the building is a little old, but the maintenance team is clearly working hard to keep everything running well. It's not clearly marked, but there is parking behind the building, so you're not stuck if you don't see any available spots out front!

This is a regular hotel nothing very outstanding to brag about, just normal. I didn't like how they didn't have a complementary breakfast; instead they wanted you to pay for it at the attached restaurant. Location is off the beaten path unless you have a reason to be near businesses. At least the bed was comfortable.
