I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was exceptional very welcoming. The hotel was very clean. The only complaint I would have is because I stayed for a few days and I did have a pet with me. I would have preferred housekeeping have come in to tidy things up on a daily basis.

Always sketchy people who stay there. This time some old lady was arguing in the hallway with people. This time I saw housekeeping cleaning rooms.. and to see the amount of filth and trash (assuming from long term tenants) outside the room was absolutely disgusting. If only the owners or corporate would renovate the interior and have better security it could be such a better hotel

We stayed at a room on the 1st floor. Everything was okay except that at night, we could hear the TV at the next room all night! My husband knocked on the wall and called the staff. It wasn’t resolved and we just had the our most restless 2 nights on a vacation there.

A few things. One of the beds mattress was damp. This caused further investigations to see that there was stains and bugs underneath the sheets we were sleeping on. Also, shower would not drain. My guests borrowed the snake plunger from housekeeing and cleared out a glob of hair. Shower curtain was stained because of buildup. These issues need to be addressed.

First when I arrived I had to call because there was no one at the front desk. Booked a king bed but ended up having to stay in a double bed room, not a big deal. The problem was that there was a fitted sheet that was to large for the bed and nothing else. Just the 2 pillows. No top sheet, no comforter. Which makes me wonder if the beds were even cleaned. We did not sleep well at all! Will not be back to this hotel.

Who ever was working the night shift on April 21 was the only person who should keep a job. She was nice, respectful and very kind to my family when they checked in. From 22 April to 04 may this place was a nightmare. 2 electric burners, a microwave and small sink.Problem is no dishes, Silverware, cups, pots, pans, etc are provided.This is also the first extended stay type hotel I've been to that doesn't provide iron and ironing board. Being that I flew my wife and 2 daughters here to visit me after not seeing me since August when I deployed it would have been great to have these items especially since this was the main reason we picked this hotel. Further more shower pressure was low, no hair dryer and no towels could be exchanged; that went for bed sheets as well.Things happen but I used my own money to wash the only 3 towels they provided us using guest laundry.Asked room service for trash bags and toilet paper when they were cleaning vacant rooms, i was told to get them at the front desk.Not a safe place, questionable people in and out of here, reeks of pot and employees lockup at night and it's only hotel guests.01May 3am I heard a couple arguing in the hallway.They progressively got louder until the elevator.I heard them again in the parking lot. My last night, 03 May I called police 1230 at night because room above us sounded like a brawl.My 2 year old was woke up and crying from the noise.Staybaway from this place.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to warn people about this place. It is very misleading because it's in a nice area, but for whatever reason this place attracts a very bad crowd. A lot of suspicious activity in the parking lot, and shady people roaming the halls. The quality of the bed is absolutely terrible, and they do not provide any basic supplies for the extended stay. There was a hole in my bathroom door, clearly a sign of some domestic dispute. I did not feel safe staying there. I was supposed to stay for 4 nights and left after the first night. I tried to speak to the manager and they never got back to me. I contacted Expedia to get a refund and was unsuccessful. If you care about your safety, mental health, and cleanliness, DO NOT STAY HERE!

If you want a place to sleep and take a shower, this place is for you. It was clean. Definitely a NO amenities 'suite'. There was a kitchen set up, full-size fridge, 2 burner cooktop and microwave. There was NO coffee maker, NOTHING else provided. I was told there was coffee in the lobby but I never saw it. No cooking or eating utensils. No ice maker or trays in the freezer. NO ice machine on the premises, which I thankfully found out before my arrival so I purchased a bag at a convenience store. There was NO hair dryer. I stayed 5 nights and got 2 towels, was told I could get more for a fee. WTH?? I was driving my own vehicle so thankfully was able to bring a coffee maker and the eating and cooking utensils from my home, knowing I was going to be working late and would be tired from the day was why I picked a 'suite' where I could cook food I had brought. What about people who are flying in and only discover the lack of amenities AFTER arrival? I was surprised not to see any comments regarding the lack of these things in the previous reviews. What is wrong with you people? I try to trust reviews about where to stay and I would definitely have picked another hotel had I known I was going to have to provide everything myself. As I said, if you just need a place to sleep, it's OK.

We stayed at WoodSpring Suites Jacksonville while traveling for appointments at the Mayo Clinic, and unfortunately this was not a good fit at all for a medical stay where rest and quiet are so important.
We booked expecting a more traditional extended-stay hotel, but it felt much more like an apartment complex with many long-term residents. The walls are extremely thin, and you can hear everything — people cooking, children, pets, conversations, and even furniture being moved around. The people above us were rearranging furniture between 1 AM and 5 AM, and we stayed 4 nights but only got decent sleep one night.
The building is very pet-friendly, but the elevators smelled strongly like cat urine, which made things even more unpleasant.
While the room had a stove and full-size fridge, you have to pay extra for basic kitchen items like pots, pans, forks, and utensils, which was surprising. We’ve stayed at other extended stays and never had to pay extra for those. You’re also only given 2 towels, and if you want fresh ones, you have to bring the used ones downstairs first. No extra towels, and if the front desk is closed after hours, you’re out of luck.
To be fair, the front desk staff was kind and courteous whenever they were available. They were the best part of the experience. But overall, the price was not worth the lack of sleep, odors, and inconvenience.
If you’re staying in Jacksonville for Mayo Clinic and need peace and rest, I would not recommend this property.

Staff was great! Check in was fast. Location was nice. The room experience was not so great. Very loud surroundings. Dogs barking all night long. Could hear others walking above and music on other side of walls. Having a pet friendly motel is a very bad idea. If someone was yelling and screaming all night, the management would be able to do something about it. But when a dog barks on and off all night, they don’t do anything. I will constantly look to see if a motel is pet friendly and never stay at one again. They took a nice motel and made it into a kennel.

The hotel was the worst one i’ve stayed at. Construction was occurring that we weren’t informed about, a man on a machine lift was outside my window looking in. There were dogs barking at all hours of the day and night. There was a long banging noise outside that lasted all night. The rooms and elevators smelled musty and the smell stuck to clothes. Our bathroom fan would make a loud scraping noise when it was turned off, keeping us ip at night. The fridge made a weird knocking sound. The hotel staff were not very kind, and the disappointment started right as I walked through the door, waiting for 4 minutes to check in at the front desk for someone to attend to me while they were gossiping/laughing in the back. I have videos to prove these noises, I will try to post them.

I would like to first express what this location is at least doing right .The front desk staff were very friendly .After checking in the power went out in the whole building do to power outage and was advise they do not have a generator this is problematic as I have a medical device. The power was restored within 2 hours.However Tv was out for duration of night .It was very noisy all night. Then there were roaches the room had not been cleaned well at all. The hotel overall had a foul smell.Unfortunatly due to Hotel.com policy I was not able to cancel without penalty . There wasn't even a hairdryer ,not fork or spoon ,paper towel in kitchen only bugs.My car was also hit with pressure was chemicals while building was being pressure wash. I would not be staying here again. I grievance were not addressed as I was advised they were currently busy and matter out of their hands.

The guy at the front desk was awesome and very professional and polite… The room was very clean and it was overall a great experience… The only con is it had the worst bed I ever slept on.. sleeping in my van is more comfortable.. Couldn’t sleep on them springs

My room was covered in mold- the check in lazy was so kind for my late arrival time and was able to get me checked in but once I entered my room there was mold spots on my blanket, on the bathroom wall and surrounddd the entire tub I genuinely couldn’t get myself to stay there for my visit

The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. They deserve five stars! I will say that the room was clean and I did not see any bugs (my biggest fear in these 2-star hotels). The only really negative thing was the room was very outdated and old. Overall, good value for the price.

The hotel all in all has a certain aroma to it that I think comes from all the kitchenettes in all the rooms. The floor in our room was a little sticky, the elevator was jolty, the room is not equipped with any glasses or coffee maker or anything like that...Now I know why the price was what it was...

No attendant at the front desk for about 10 min when I arrived to check in. Room itself was fine, but between the dog barking down the hall, shrieking kids across the hall, elephants in the room above me, people in the room next to me knocking their bed against the wall, and the blinds but no curtains not doing a great job of blocking the parking lot lights, I didn't sleep great. Sign in the lobby said there'd be coffee available at 6 am; there was no coffee at 6:30, and nobody was due to be at the front desk until 7.

Unfortunately, the hotel had people either living there or staying for more than a week or so. More on the lower income side. Several walking around the facility. However, they appeared to be quiet and respectful of other visitors.
