Room was very clean and it had such a cute decoration. Staff were all very polite and friendly, giving me and my partner great recommendations of places to visit around the city. We asked if there was any microwave we could use around the hotel and they kindly lent us one to stay in our room.
I’d definitely go back another time!

We arrived about an hour and a half after the original check-in time, but our room still was not ready. The front desk staff also did not mention the $50 fee or explain the reimbursement or resort fee process (still waiting to get that money back). I only learned about it by overhearing another staff member. Once in the room, we noticed several issues: the Nespresso machine was broken, the shower floor felt soft underfoot, the table had only one chair, and the walls were thin, which made it hard to sleep with noisy neighbors.

On the positive side, the facility was nice and the on-site restaurant offered good food, although the brunch service could have been better. Overall, it was a decent stay. It was not the best experience I have had, but certainly not the worst either.

I think everything was good. The only thing i can maybe say is the walls were a bit thin and at night we heard everything in the hallway and upstairs. These noises kept us up a bit and then there was also the extra 57$ charge when we checked out. The charge was for amenities+ parking which i wouldve thought wouldve been included in the original bill but it wasnt.
Not a big deal but wouldve been better if that was mentioned in the beginning and not a surprise charge at the end. But other than that it was a decent room and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay. Love newport so i didnt mind.

Staff was great! The room was nice enough but had a strange kinda musty or earthy smell. Shower stall/tub area was kinda dark, but water pressure was great so still an enjoyable shower. Overall it wasn’t bad, and the location served our purpose well.

We had the two queen with a balcony which was really nice. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The pillows were very comfortable and so was the bed. It’s the slow season right now so it was nice and quiet. Can’t speak for their lunch or dinner but we did have the breakfast which was just ok. $12 for 2 eggs, some fried potatoes (very dry), homemade strawberry jam (very good) and ONE slice of toast, not cool. lol Really cute hotel, though. Would definitely stay here again.

I booked the suite with multiple beds. The room did not look like the pictures as advertised. The room was clean and staff was accommodating. That was the only positive. I noticed that the room only had 1 remote for 2 tv’s. The room did not have any dressers or drawers to put clothes in. The water took forever to get hot in the shower. When I was checking out online, there was an issue with the website and would not let me complete the checkout process. I was forced to make an unnecessary phone call.

Additional $25 \"Urban Destination Fee\" for each night of my stay was added to my bill upon checkout which to me was a very sneaky way to squeeze another dollar out of the guests. Considering the use of \"facilities\" is an additional fee and even the water they put in your room now costs money if you drink it, its becoming a distasteful experience to stay at hotels. They just keep finding ways to take more money from you after already paying for the room. As always, there are no complaints with staff or room, the staff was great and the room was clean. I was surprised that there was nowhere for us to put our clothes though, no dresser drawers or closet space at all. Whats up with that???? The website stated \"continental breakfast included\" but apparently that was not a thing either. When we went to inquire, we were told there was a sit down and order option and a small cafe that we could purchase food/drinks from. 2 coffees and an egg and cheese muffin came to $25. We booked our stay out of convenience, since we were already there for the Hells Kitchen event, but I will likely not return.

Staff was super friendly! Loved the room it was cozy and clean. The radiator covers make such a difference! Make it feel homey and not industrial. The only things disappointing was the shower body wash was empty and hadn’t been refilled - and there was only one chair at the coffee table so we couldn’t sit together to talk or play a game.

Solid place to stay. First room had a small issue. We were moved. Also front desk gave us a $50 F&B voucher and and a free wine tasting for 2 at a nearby Vineyard. Staff is fantastic. Bar was great.

The staff were super friendly. My only issue is all the doors in the hallways. I understand they had a fire which is probably why they have it. But they make soft closing doors kept us up all night. I was literally to the point where I was going to leave. Which would have stunk because the place wasn't that bad at all

Wonderful place to stay in Newport

Very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was great, check-in was a breeze. Would love to try the restaurant for brunch or dinner, early morning options at 8 AM were limited, but they looked amazing. Very short uber ride to downtown Newport and Salve Regina.

This is not a 4 stars hotel, 3 at the very best. We were put in an area where we had to walk out of the reception building and there were no elevators (we had to carry our lugagge to the 3rd floor by stairs). The tv remote control didn't work, the outlets in the room were loose and some didn't work (therefore difficult to charge devices). We were given 2 towels, enven though reservation was for 3, the back out shade works only partially and so on. Very old building, where they tried to revamp the appearance but not the structure. Staff not trained well, we were not offered help with the luggage and at check out didn't even ask how our stay was. Wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend.

The property itself was very nice except for the random short sets of stairs in the hallways, making it difficult for me to get my suitcase up and down them. What I have a problem with was the hidden \"resort fee\" of $25 a day. If that had been disclosed before I booked, I would have chosen another hotel, and I won't stay here again because I hate that kind of deceptive business practice, not to mention, \"resort fee\" for what? The pool that I didn't use, because I stayed in September for work?

This hotel was a huge disappointment. I was given a ground-level room at the very end of a gloomy hallway. The room had no drapes at all — just cheap paper/plastic blinds that you had to pull up and down with your fingers. If you rolled them up, there was zero privacy because the window overlooked the parking lot where people constantly walked by. If you kept them down, the room was pitch-dark with barely any lighting, making it feel depressing and claustrophobic. To make matters worse, the flimsy blinds eventually came off the hinge altogether.

The bathroom was just as bad — extremely basic, with a tub and a plastic shower curtain that screamed budget motel, not hotel. Overall, the room felt gloomy, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the stay.

The suite was large and the bed was very comfortable. There isn't much space for clothes - no drawers, only a small area with a few hangers and a couple of hooks on the wall. But for just 3 nights, we managed.
Checkin was very easy and the staff was great. We enjoyed our breakfast in Little Clam. Although the menu was limited, it was very creative!
The location of the hotel is convenient; only a few minutes drive into downtown Newport.

Staff were all very helpful. Room I got was subpar and not as advertised on web. I injured myself on the very poorly constructed bathtub entrance. The place is two worlds. The new part, where I got an upgrade after my injury was okay, and the subpar room way not so. I got an email just before going there that for an additional $14 per day I could get a room upgrade, and when I arrived found there was an additional \"Urban Destination Fee\" of $25 per day. Thin walls, and ceilings, and below average cleanliness. All folks there were nice, but it is a bait and switch for rooms and many complaints were heard about the restaurant on site, which I didn't go to, but dissatisfaction seemed the rule for other guests I spoke with. The place is struggling.
