This was my 6th visit and stay at the Days Inn Middletown and I really like it. For the price you have a great stay! Clean rooms, and great service. The manager is super, we always arrive late but always so welcoming. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

The first room didn’t have enough beds. The second room smelled like mold the carpet was really wet everywhere. The third room was so noisy with the dehumidifier got no sleep. Then to top it off they didn’t even clean the room no new towels didn’t refresh anything beds were not made ect….this was a really bad experience.

The Days Inn Wyndam in Middletown was a surprise hotel. It seems to have been recently renovated with new floors and paint. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is not too far from Newport attractions and easy to drive to those places. The surrounding area is not very walkable however, and the main road it's on is difficult to enter into as it is a main travel road and trafficked. The walls were a bit thin, but not too bad and the breakfast was fine, though the only hot food was a waffle maker, so I thought that was a little light on options. Overall, I'd say 4 stars, but given that Newport is so expensive, this was perfect for accessing the Naval base, downtown Newport and within budget.

- the seal around the door wasn't great, could see the outside sidewalk looking at the bottom of the door.
- the bed sheets had a stain on them
- the bed sheets, while put back and made everyday, they were the same sheets for the entire stay.
- the shower wasnt clean, I shed to be fair, but the shower could still be cleaned and i shouldnt see the hair everyday i took a shower.
- the water pressure in the shower was very weak
- the towels that i had were just folded back up and didnt get changed until i balled them up and put them near the trashcan by the front door. or when i asked for a new towel.
these were the issues that i had, but still livable and in a good location.

Area around toilet was dirty and not wiped up. Lock on door was not well installed and not very secure. Outside property was very neat.

I don’t normally stay in places with doors that open to the outside but, based on the reviews of others, I gave it a shot. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe. My room was terrible. The bathroom was not clean to my expectation. The room was kind of smelling funky with a humidifier noise 24/7. i could not fall as sleep because of a static noise at night, it seems like a water leakage. The towels are so worn out that it was hard for me to dry my body after a shower. I will not set foot on this property ever again. Thank you!

I would give a positive review in general. We arrived in Newport around 11am. We didn't have any reservation and booked in that day, last minute. Location is good just 7-10min drive from the center. Hotel have parking for free. Easy booking and easy check in. Room was clean and good condition. Breakfast was very simple and not to many option but was good, i don't have any complain for what was served. So i would recomend if you're looking for a safe and quite place to stay with your family for a night or 2 it's a good option.

Super clean I actually was surprised at how good it was I was expecting less and it was very clean, the shower and bathroom looked new! Air con worked great, bed was clean and nice! Everything was completely great for a one night stay. It is nothing fancy but it is nice and clean and quiet and conveniently near Newport for a way better price. Also pet friendly I had my medium sized husky dog with me and the staff was friendly they just charge $25 dog fee and there is grass and tree area to walk them around to go to the bathroom conveniently too. If you have a dog with you and don’t want to pay high prices in Newport, this is a great option.

The first room that we were given they were in the middle of doing maintenance work. The room that we were given after the floors of the room were covered in grime that left stains on the bottom of our socks. The bedding was stained like they didn’t wash them. The shower floor had a black gunk on it like they didn’t clean it.

Great location if you want to be near downtown Newport just not in the mix of it all. Clean rooms and great staff. My fiancé left some stuff in the drawers and his watch. And they had it bagged up in the lobby waiting for us. Can’t wait to come back !!

Staff was responsive when I needed more towels and also when there was an issue with the lights in the room, but they weren’t able to fix it. Hotel was updated and quiet, front desk was very polite and helpful and check in was quick. Location was good about 15 minutes to the wharf area in Newport.
