Everything about the Mill Street Inn was just perfect. They were so welcoming and nice when we checked in and couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Our room was again, perfect! Exposed brick, sheets that must have been 20000 thread count! the bed was so comfortable. The room was quiet and as an added benefit had an amazing porch off of it. The gym was adequate and there were plenty of TV channels to watch. I can't recommend Mill Street Inn enough. If you're thinking of going to Newport this is totally the place to stay.

We have stayed here 3 times. We love the location and it’s so quaint, from the sangria in the lobby to the rooftop deck. The only complaint I have is the couch and chairs in the room are not comfortable at all. In the evening, we watched a Christmas movie and really had wished it was comfortable, but that’s my only negative comment.

The only issue was that the floors/walls seem very thin, so we could constantly hear people walking and flushing the toilet/showering above us.

We thoroughly relaxed at the Mill Street Inn starting our stay with a gratis goody bag of local delights. The staff employed were extremely courteous, the room cozy, and very clean. Our intent was a “relaxation only” trip and that we did. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like lambs. The European Continental breakfast offered daily delicious fresh choices and was delivered on time. An additional treat was the Nespresso machine in the room.

We absolutely loved our stay. The Inn has 3 suite options. studio, deluxe suite and townhouse suite (roof top balcony view). We stayed in a deluxe suite. It was great so clean, spacious and bed was so comfortable. Wifi was great no issues at all. It’s the perfect location for everything in the area. We walked to everything in town. It was truly a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Staff was exceptional and the free sangria was a nice touch. Cannot beat the location being 1 block from all the wharf action and all the Newport shops. We will be back. The breakfast was so good! We stayed at another inn in RI right before this stay and Mill Street Inn has the other beat. We easily walked to the Breakers, cliff walk, shops and restaurants in the harbor area. No issues with check-in or check-out, convenient parking. I would stay here again.

The Mill Street Inn is perfectly located for seeing Newport. The Inn is located one block from great restaurants and shops on Thames. If you walk two blocks the other direction you are at the Tram stop to take you out to Cliff Walk and the Gilded Age mansions. The staff was courteous and friendly. We were given maps and advise on dining out. The breakfast is delicious. We will always choose Mill Street Inn when coming to Newport.

The Weather was cold but our Duplex room had a fireplace which we used daily.
