They require a deposit fee prior to arrival. Once you check in you pay for the full stay and the deposit is released 3-4 days after check out. They don’t tell you this prior to arrival. If you’re traveling on a budget be aware.

During the Christmas season hotels in the centre can be very expensive so this was a good value option with good transport links to the centre. We took a taxi once which was only €15 as well. Room was very comfortable and hotel bar area is lovely.

Last minute plans to visit the Strasbourg Christmas Market left us with few reasonably priced choices. We were thrilled with our location - literally right across the street from the tram and only 4 stops from the market. The rooms are small, but very clean. We asked for tips about visiting the market and the front desk was extremely helpful. The convenient parking was an added bonus.

We regularly visit Strasbourg for the Xmas Markets and have stayed at many different hotels. This was the first time at a Kyriad. At first we were pleased with our choice. So easy to get into town via the excellent Tram system. Warm welcome from the staff. Duvet covet had obvious burn marks on it so gave the wrong impression straight away. Although the item was clean they were willing to let their customers have this on their bed. Sends out the wrong signals. Breakfast was uninspiring and as I write I am trying to recover an overcharged account. Their records had us down for breakfast every morning of our 4 night stay. We had only had one breakfast. We will return to Strasbourg but may think twice about staying at a Kyriad however their price was very competitive

This is a great hotel for 55 dollars/room, which is what we paid. Not in the city but there is a convenient tram in front to take you to the city. We were able to find street parking free for our car. Hotel is updated, clean. Room was somewhat small and wi-fi was spotty. Customer service was good, but the night guy was confused and took 15 minutes to check us out after making some mistakes. Overall would recommend for that price point even with the cons.

I stayed there as I was attending a conference at the Palais de congres which was only two tram stops away. The hotel was convenient as there was a tram stop right in front of the hotel that takes you to the conference center or city center. The hotel itself was very clean with new furniture and comfortable for a European style not too luxurious hotel. The service was great. My room was too hot when I arrived in October and the air conditioning was not working, the front desk staff explained that the air conditioning is turned off as of the beginning of October but offered to change my room to another one facing the side street where I could open the window which I did and it was fine. The room itself was very clean and all new furniture but small as all European hotels at this class are. It had a boiler and a daily supply of instant coffee and even biscuits. Room cleaning service was always prompt and efficient.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel, and to be honest the service and standards of the hotel had dropped considerably. There was problem with they toilet, so they moved me to a small room without bath but disable shower. 11 euros charge per day for breakfast which was asked for at end of stay after being informed it was included. Restaurant was closed several nights.

Good location, easy access to city centre by tram. Rooms are a bit small but clean, comfortable and daily maintained. Didn`t try their restaurant, but looked nice. Personnel was helpful, polite and spoke english. There is an 8 euros daily charge for the car park, which is right next to the hotel and is secured. I missed a garden but it`s not the point of this type of hotels. Overall it`s much better quality than the Ibis Budget on the opposite side of the road and the price is just a couple of £s higher, so worth it, recommended.

Unterkunft ist am Rand Straßburg s gelegen und so ist das Zentrum fußläufig in 15 Min. zu erreichen. Es sind wunderschöne Parks zu erkunden, prunkvolle Gebäude zu bestaunen und man kann Bootstouren buchen und die Stadt auf dem Wasserweg kennenlernen. Shoppen geht gut in den kleinen Geschäften in der Altstadt oder in den Einkaufszentren. Bei schönem Wetter ideal für ein Wochenendtrip !

So eine tolle Atmosphäre beim Restaurant habe ich selten gesehen! Jung und alt sind am Spiele spielen die man da ausleihen kann, es hat aber auch Tischspiele. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker, die Drinks auch. Sauber, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! Wir hatten ein etwas kälteres Zimmer, der Herr von der Bar hat dann die Regler für uns eingestellt und hat uns auch noch ein kleiner Ofen gebracht - top! Innerhalb kurzer Zeit war es warm. Unsere Freunde hatten von Anfang ein wärmeres Zimmer. Ich glaube bei uns war der Regler etwas kaputt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Alles Top!!

En visite pour le week-end cet hôtel proche du palais des congrès était parfait, une belle chambre spacieuse bien équipé.

Es hat leider fast eine Stunde gedauert bis wir endlich die Zimmer vernünftig beisammen hatten. Wir waren mind. 5 mal an der Rezeption weil die Karten immer wieder nicht gingen. Hotel war sehr hellhörig sowohl auf den Gang als auch auf die Straße.

- a tiny room overlooking some kind of nightclub out the back
- terrible plumbing à la française (water stank of algae and wasn't hot, flow of water was inadequate).
Essentially this is like the McDonalds of hotels, but perhaps a forgotten, 30 year old McDonalds on a bad day.
The evening staff was ok, friendly and gave great advice on where to eat in the area and so on. Morning staff was hopeless - rude almost (I asked if they had a comb - she looked at me as if I was from the moon; handed back my room key as I was leaving and the lady treated me as if I was doing a runner).
At least the breakfast was ok.
In short, I won't stay at the Ibis \"styles\" again, if I have a choice, and unless it's very cheap (which it wasn't).

Ich war leider nicht so happy, da ich ein Zimmer auf die Hauptstraße hatte und der Verkehr die ganze Nacht zu hören war und die Straßenbahn auch fast durchgehend. Das Zimmer ist IBIS-like sehr klein und spartanisch, wenn auch praktisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl für jeden. Der Rezeptionist ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich bin ein \"Landei\" und einfach so viel Lärm nicht gewohnt. Ansonsten würde ich sagen, Preis/Leistung durchaus okay.

Obwohl an der Reception geschrieben war dass sie deutsch sprechen, so war es leider nicht so. Zum Glück konnten wir uns auch mit französisch und englisch verständigen. Eigentlich haben wir das Hotel wegen der Nähe der Strassenbahn ausgesucht, leider fuhr diese wegen Bauarbeiten nicht und da es mit Bus und Strassenbahn bis ins Zentrum von Strassburg kompliziert wurde haben wir schlussendlich das Auto genommen.
In der ersten Nacht ging bei uns der Feueralarm um 5:30 los, nachdem festgestellt wurde dass es ein Fehler war, haben wir nochmals geschlafen, um 8:00 klopfte jemand 1x an die Türe und kam gleich rein obwohl wir zusätzlich geschlossen hatten. Dies war nicht sehr erfreulich.
Morgens war das Frühstücksbüffet eine Stunde vor Ende bereits leergeräumt und das auffüllen liess zu wünschen übrig. Teilweise wurde nochmals aufgefüllt aber zum Teil auch nicht!
Mit dem Zimmer waren wir auch nicht zufrieden. Wir haben das invaliedenzimmer erhalten mit einem 1.40m Bett auf Rädern! Die Lage war gut aber für einen erneuten Besuch würde ich ein anderes Hotel wählen

Très bien si vous passez une nuit avec peu de bagages, sinon impossible de ranger ses valises. Même les salles de bains ne comportent aucun endroit pour poser ses affaires de toilette. J'ai demandé s'il y avait des chambres plus spacieuses : il ne semble pas.

En revanche, très déçu d’un petit déjeuner à 12,50€ qu’il faut venir chercher, restreint ( pas d’œufs et plateau très petit) et très froid.
Je pense que les plateaux sont préparés à l’avance et conservés au frigo.
