The shower however was luke warm and given the cost of the room, it would have been nice to have some complimentary waters, not an $8 bottle waiting for you - maybe even some tea and coffee facilities as in most hotels.

The resort itself is nice. Check in was quick and the staff at the desk were very friendly. We arrived to the hotel around 11am and were surprised to find our room was ready. Unfortunately, it later became evident that it wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests. The beds were made but the sheets were covered in what appeared to be feces, stains and hair on both beds and old cherios were left in plain site on the floor. For a premier hotel we expected much much better. I called down to reception and was greeted by a VERY rude lady who brushed off my concerns and said that she would let a maid know. After discovering more stains on the other bed I called again only for the same woman talk down to me. I finally asked for a manager and waited on hold for 10 minutes before he came on and said the best he could do was a $200 refund. Which I appreciated but I expected much better treatment and care by all involved. The apologetic, very kind maid did arrive and changed all of our sheets but it was clear that the rest of the room was not touched from the previous guests. Sleeping in a dirty, very expensive room was not what I expected from our very first universal experience.
I would reccomend all guests to check their bedding before crawling in, which we sadly didn’t notice until after we laid on it.

The front desk staff were unfriendly and came across as dismissive, which set a negative tone from the start. We also didn’t receive the floral leis that were supposed to be provided upon arrival.

Before our stay, I booked through Expedia but called the hotel directly to confirm that our reservation included the Express Pass to Epic Universe. I was clearly told that it did. After arriving, we were informed that it was not included. When I explained that I had called ahead to verify, the hotel refused to acknowledge the misinformation or even check their phone records, despite their system transcribing and storing calls.

The lack of accountability and poor customer service was very disappointing. Because of the experience, we chose to cut our trip short and leave a day early. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

not worth the cost for the condition of the room. resort is okay. It is worth the value for the universal passes, but this place is not worth the cost. The furniture beat up. We were originally put on a floor where there was construction above, when I realized the situation, we requested move which was late at night. First thing the next morning they were cutting palm trees down, several floors up, outside my window with chainsaw, no relaxation time. very disappointed and would not recommend. they charge daily for parking, even when staying on resort. Positive was that is was walking distance to Universal walk,U.S. & I.O.A.

I’ve been here perhaps 10 times over the last 20 years and I always have a good stay. Staff are incredibly friendly. Let’s check in the orchid lounge in the lobby does tremendous sushi. Js bar is always a winner in the Poole is very very nice. But the walk to others adventure and universal perhaps seven minutes if that. The boats are also available. They kept the property up beautifully and I always have a lovely stay. You are gonna have to pay for parking and taxes so you’re not going there for the cheap house but you are going for the lovely saying more importantly express pass which is fantastic.

Disappointing, for a ‘premium’ hotel it was not as good as expected.
The shower didn’t drain. The sink was cracked, it could have been cleaner.
We asked for a bed rail and didn’t get one.
I’m glad it was only one night for the price it is it worth it.

Great room with comfortable bed amd pillows. Shower is great and good hairdryer. Only downside was we checked in on a morning to get our express pass then had to check in again to get the room key, whereas on a previous visit they texted the room number so found that a bit inconvenient.

Excellent location and very friendly service from the moment we arrived at the hotel. All 4 of us presented with Lays before we had even entered the hotel. When we did, it smells wonderful, I mean really wonderful fragrance used. While there was a bit of a queue at reception, maybe 15 minutes, it was no real problem. Offered free upgrade to pool view room which we happily accepted by the very helpful check in staff. The room was spacious and with great views, over pool and other hotels in the distance. Plenty of storage for all 4 of us. Tuk Tuk market was very convenient, especially for a quick breakfast or cup of coffee. Jake’s bar…the portions were huge and of a very good quality. Would happily return to this hotel again and would certainly recommend. The Express Unlimited pass included saves a lot of queue times in the parks and an excellent perk. Next time I visit Orlando, this will be my first choice to look at.

When we got to check in we needed photo ID which we weren't told about so it was a hassle changing the room to my husbands name and delayed check in :-( the rooms were lovely but the price of food was absolutely ridiculous. $30 for a tiny pizza in Tuk Tuk and $250 for breakfast for 6 people is just wrong! Been out for dinner most nights for 7 people and eaten until we were going to burst for less!

But check in is lengthy. Once checked in our room wasnt ready but we were given fast passes and told these were our room keys, we headeded to the parks, once room ready we were text but no room number given. So after a long day in the park we had to present back to checkin, present photo id again which we had already done and wait again for new room keys, when all we wanted to do was go to bed, so this could have been smoother for us.
The room is clean but there was no option of single beds as we are a party of 4 adults would have prefered not to share beds. The bathroom has no door and the sink back flows and gurggles overnight waking me up.
