We have travelled a wide array of destinations across the globe but i have never met a more polite, respectful and wonderful gentleman such as John the owner and manager here. We really don't have words to express our gratitude to this gem of a person. He was always willing to go out of his way to help up, be it helping with finding things to do, directions or anything to make our stay confirtable. The dishwasher in our unit broke down (obviously not his fault), he provided a whole set of clean dishes and even washed our dirty ones in his own unit! He put the clean dishes in the right place while we were away. He helped us by giving us an extended check out time for free.

Just an average property. Their gift basket included toilet paper. If you stay longer, you will need to buy your own. To set up an excursion was a bit difficult. They did go above and beyond to mail a package for us.

We booked this property because it had a four star rating …we were very disappointed with the unit. The kitchen had appliances that were so old we didn’t bother to use them…they looked like they would not even work (dishwasher would not close). Fridge was stained and felt dirty. We ate out for the duration of our stay. The bathroom was old, with mould stains on the grout and the shower head did not work properly. The ceiling fan in one bedroom was falling down and looked too dangerous to use. The AC units were old and noisy. There was a lot of noise from neighbouring units and the street/traffic.

The apartment is very roomy and has the amenities expected. Floor is a little dusty. You will need slippers to keep the bed sheet clean. Distance is a little further from the central area. Most undesirable is the noise. My apartment was on the 2nd floor. Upstairs noise from walking was very high. Can’t be an issue for light sleeper.

This was just what we needed after arriving late from Sydney. Lots of space and Andy, the owner, is so helpful with local advice.
We ate at the nearby bar and got a few free beers arranged by Koala Court. We also booked a couple of excursions through Koala Court.

It is very old property and is 15-20 minutes walk from Cairns esplanade boardwalk. Old air-con units are noisy. Cutlery and dishes were really old and grubby. The show door had green mold on it. The wardrobe doors came out of groves all the time.

This is tropical country, so the swimming pool and the air conditioning were really appreciated. We had a little courtyard in the back where we had breakfast every morning. The kitchen was well furnished, and the grocery stores one block away. The wifi turned itself off as soon as you stopped using it. A minor nuisance. We would certainly go back

The hotel is conveniently located between the airport and the city centre. The taxi from the airport was about $20. You can walk to the esplanade in about 10-15 minutes and the pier in about 45 minutes. The managers were very helpful and accommodating. Having in-suite laundry was very convenient.

Loved it, nothing major to complain about, but it may be overrated. We chose this location specifically because of the stellar ratings it received, so we may have had unfair expectations. And to be honest, there was nothing at all wrong with the place, except for a very loud air conditioner. It's a bit out there if you don't have a car--about 20 minutes to walk to the CBD. But the area is quiet and the staff very friendly. There's a similarly named hotel in the area, so make sure you clarify with your taxi driver where you're going. Overall, it was perfectly pleasant, but it won't change your life.

Our apartment was clean and comfortable and the AC was great which was definitely needed. Andy and Rurh, the proprietors were so helpful and nice from helping book tours, recommending places to eat, and where to pick up groceries. I wanted to hug them when we left.
