Great area. Just be aware that the airport is not to far away and they start flying at 6.00 am. Kids used the pool and enjoyed it. Close to the walking pathway to walk into Cairns. Plenty of shops and eateries close by also

Coral Towers were clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful pool and location to Cairns central, shops, and events.
Loved the views from the 6th floor and we definitely would return!
Some structural repairs needed: lift bumpy, exhaust fans needed in the bathrooms and security gate broken on exit side.
Definitely would book again!

Stayed in the penthouse which had amazing views. Directly on the esplanade and walkable to main shops and restaurants but over 2km which does get tiring. Plenty of taxis and ubers available if do not have a car. Staff were lovely and helpful.

The accommodation was as we expected for the price we paid, however, they should not advertise wifi as none of us ever managed to connect and the four of us had to rely on my telephone to be able to connect. We would have liked bigger saucepans (there was a huge pot and two tiny saucepans), and sharper chef knives which were very blunt.

We had great time during our stay in Coral Towers Cairns. Location is the highlight overlooking park and coral sea. Property has massive apartments with all amenities, you will feel like home. All the facilities in kitchen, bath were great..and beds are comfy. Sandy was very welcoming and helpful. On site Pool and jacuzzi were clean..kids loved it..highly recommended, we will surely come back..

It’s a nice apartment. Location is excellent, but apartment not very clean. I had a toddler with me, so often you have to bend to get stuff from under bed or couch and I could see dust and moth.
Also the second bathroom was clogged and it flooded, we didn’t complain because we didn’t have time to wait for a plumber

Great Stay - No WiFi

Overall - we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a two bedroom end unit, so the views of the sunrise and beach were magnificent. It was spacious and felt clean (although we did come across a couple of cockroaches). The building is older, but the place has been updated. Good water pressure. Solid washer/dryer. All the amenities we needed. Not a far Uber ride from the wharf/boardwalk area with many restaurants (typically cost us around $10AUD and less than 10 minutes to get there).

Everyone was helpful and very nice.

The walls are THIN. You can hear everything from surrounding rooms. I jumped out of bed several times because it sounded like our doors were being opened, but it was apartments around us. It was unsettling for it to sound like it was coming from inside our apartment.

WiFi is AWFUL. It felt like it was off most of the time because our phones didn’t even see the network. They told us it was not great when we checked in, but it was nonexistent. If you need internet, budget for using your own data.

Owners were extremely helpful with regards to what an local tours to take and the apartment was huge, plenty of ammeneties included, fantastic stay, highly recommend, just some rooms have spotty WiFi, this is the only downside, so used mobile data instead which wasn't an issue at all.

The apartment we stayed in was clean and well equipped and had wonderful water views. The furnishings were comfortable and of a good standard. The only downside of our stay was the distance to the town. It was about a 30 minute walk, so we racked up a lot of Uber, but if you're young and fit and want the exercise then its a great option for a reasonable price.

Great Stay!

Coral Towers is an older style property with fantastic views over the Cairns North parkland and ocean. It has a beautiful, clean and sparkling pool. The property overall is very well-maintained. Our apartment was comfortably furnished and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was light, bright, spacious and pleasantly decorated. It had good air-conditioning and a great balcony. The property manager, Tony, was very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. The only downside was that we didn't have a car and it was a fair walk in the heat to get to shops and restaurants.

Our stay at Coral Towers was excellent. Our host Sandy was extremely helpful. She organised tours on our behalf. We had problem with TV not picking up Foxtel channels. Sandy organised new updated TV next day and had it installed and up and going by the time we got back to apartment. Exellent ocean view from our apartment on the 6th floor. Apartment was very clean and spacious. We will definitely be staying at Coral Towers next trip to Cairns. You couldn't ask for a more pleasant and helpful host.

Too far to walk to / too close to drive in the central but the lady was friendly, room was spacious with good furniture. cleanness is up to expectation. excellent place for 1 or 2 nights. any longer...not sure because: they don't top up any supply in the room. we bought 2 bedroom ocean view apartment for 5 nights. For the length, we had 4 sachets of coffee, 150ml milk, one spare toilet roll, most small conditioner shampoo for each. had to make quite a few trips to supermarket that also increased the luggage to carry, which was a pain. all the other 'self-contained' apartment we stayed happily provided what we needed on request. Wifi is super slow like a dial up connection, constantly dropping every 5min. Totally unusable. We ended up spending few GB on our mobile data. Parking was pretty challenging. Not recommended for SUV or larger as all easy to park spots are reserved for long stayer / owner occupied apartments. Also, we usually have breaky in balcony. this was impossible as the outdoor unit of the air conditioner keeps blowing us hot air and the very small space didn't allow us to move the table set anywhere. Pretty disappointed. \"ocean view\" was a joke. we could only see it through a small window located in the corner of the master bedroom (must stand in front of it) or must go out to the hot balcony and turn your head. no other window let us view ocean. not bad stay but not very pleasant. I rate 7/10. I think any better reviews are from guests who didn't stay long.

Enjoying the Cairns sunshine

Sandy, her husband and daughter Kelly were wonderful. Help will all our reservations and local knowledge to make our visit a wonderful experience.
The ocean view from our rental was amazing. The city bus was two blocks away and just $2.40 AU to go all the way downtown (CBD) or the huge shopping mall near the transportation hub.
Easy access to food stores, and tours.
Maybe we will get to come back again. Loved it!

Good Alternative to hotel

Location and apartment were very much as advertised. Comfortable stay and the penthouse patio has a great view and very spacious. Pool was great. Owner was very nice and helpful in answering questions and booking transportation. More than walking distance to the downtown area for restaurants and things to do, but uber was easy to get. There is a beach across the street but it didn't look like a beach to hang out...it was low tide and muddy when we were there. Maybe it is different at times, not sure.

Stayed two nights over Easter. Paid $215 per night and had a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Were given a fold out bed for the third child. The apartment has everything you need, is in a great location. We had views to the esplanade which were very nice. The only complaint is that the ensuite attached to the main bedroom is very small. Nothing they can do about that though (should have been slightly different placement of basin and it would have worked). That's really the only complaint that I can come up with. We would stay again and we would be happy to recommend it to friends.

Overall, the location was ok. It is at a 10 min drive to most of the restaurants. So, if you are looking to explore the night life this may not be the property for you.
The rooms were fine except the owner was not flexible to our request. We asked if we could check out an hour late and they were not accommodating which I found a bit surprising considering Cairns is a tourist town.

We booked 2 two bedroom apartments for 4 nights for a party of 3 adults, 2 seniors and 2 children. The apartments are located within walking distance (20 mins or so) to Esplanade. The hosts (Tony and Sandy) were fantastic. They were very accommodating and gave us a ton of great information. We locked ourselves out the last night and they were there within minutes to fix it! The apartments themselves are comfortable albeit a little dated. Also, they are not serviced apartments (you do not have daily maid service etc), something to be aware of depending on the duration of your stay. Overall, worked well for our purposes.

We booked a 2 bedroom ocean view room for four nights with our two adult sons. When we checked in Sandy advised us that she had upgraded us to a deluxe room which was a lovely surprise. The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and very comfortable. The view out to the bay from both rooms and lounge were stunning. The area is quiet apart from the occasional aircraft taking off but as my family are aircraft nuts this was more of a bonus than an issue. Two day complimentary wi-fi was available which was great and Sandy was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Cairns.

We came in late on Good Friday, after reception was closed, but Sandy made it super easy for us to get checked in! The apartment was beautiful, having both a view of the city and of the ocean. The only downside was that we were quite far from the city, requiring a taxi to get to the restaurants and bars.

Coral Towers was a nice stay for those renting a car staying outside of downtown. Our apartment had a fantastic view. Each apartment appeared different in decor. Unfortunately we received one that hasn't been renovated so it looked older and outdated. Others looked much nicer and updated. Everything provided in the room was adequate except the air-conditioning didn't work great. I would also recommend buying your tea, coffee, and condiments since they are not provided.

Just can't say enough how wonderful the stay was. Sandy at the desk was so helpful planing activities. The rooms are overly big. Lots of room for 4 adults to move around. Could not beat the view sitting outside the living room watching the people in the park just across the street. Can not say enough how great it was.. Was nice not having to pack a lot due to having a washer and drier in the room.

We had a 2 night stay. There is a lot of penality announced ($$$) for different type of incident such as lost of keys, lost of towels, damage of air conditioner control and special charge if you leave dirty dishes and so on... These penality charges were not announced at the time of booking!!!!
Furthermore it felt like a poor welcome where incident sounds like a business opportunity and not like a potential consequences of renting an appartment.

This is a nice hotel with good-sized rooms right on the Esplanade with direct access to the beach and a good pool. The main downside is for those who need Wi-Fi...the signal strength is plenty strong but the network connection and data flow is really bad...this was true from Friday night until Sunday during our stay and it took me more than 30 minutes just to do a simple online check-in for our upcoming Jetstar flight.

Amazing hospitality

We stayed here on a trip to Cairns for the first 3 nights as we were travelling further south to the whit sundays islands . We were very impressed with the level of hospitality shown by the owners who actually spent time to aquaint us with the local area and what to do and see . To actually have the onwer - Sandy spend over an hour showing us the tours and then booking them for us later and even phoning rental cars for prices and checking weather forecasts for the best day to go out to the great barrier reef was customer service that we have never seen anywhere else in our travels ! ! wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here and we actually did again for another 3 nights on our return to cairns . Thank you Sandy and Tony for your hospitality

Fantastic Hotel on the Eplanade

We loved everything about Coral Towers. We rented a 2 bedroom deluxe that faced the water. Every room has a lovely view over the water. Even the kitchen is designed so you have a view. Lots of space and two balconies. Very comfy beds and furniture, and well equipped kitchen. Small pool with lovely outdoor eating space and gas BBQ. Sandy was absolutely delightful and was full of advise about trips, restaurants etc. and was able to make bookings. Located about a 20 minute walk from the lagoon and restaurant area. The walk is along the esplanade and board walk by the water with beautiful trees and birds. I would most certainly stay here again.

Great for an Extended Stay

We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with ocean view, which was upgraded to a deluxe unit. These are older units that have been updated. Master bedroom had a queen bed with bathroom and the second bedroom has 2 single beds.Kitchen is fully equip, is good for cooking meals but lacks nonstick cookware and could use smaller pan sizes. Unit has a small dishwasher and a good washer and dryer. Furnishings was acceptable but most had scratches and stains from prior abuse. Air condition, 1 in the living and both bedrooms, was really good. Unit had only 2 bath and wash towels per bathroom which required washing them every couple of days. There is no service of the unit if your stay is shorter then 8 days. Reception and office closes by 5:30pm weekdays and no staff is available until the next day. Unit had a great ocean view and sunny location. Main part of town, restaurants and stores is about a 20 minute walk along the ocean or a $10 taxi ride. Location is better with a car but not hard to get around by walking or buses. Most all tour companies will pick you up and return you to this location. Sandy at reception was very friendly and helpful in booking all our tours around the area. She will go the extra mile for you, if needed. We were quite comfortable in the unit, slept well and was fairly quiet. Overall, while I noted some minor inconveniences in this review, I would stay again at Coral Towers if I return to Cairns.

Right on the Esplanade at the quieter end of town

Sandy on reception was so helpful, from early check in, great local advice, nothing was too much trouble. Unit was clean and spacious with great views to marina and hinterland. Everything we needed was in the unit. Secure undercover parking. Would recommend and would stay again.
