We stayed in a family room, and the bedroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel’s location is excellent, close to the public pool and the marina, which made getting around very easy. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
The bedroom could use a furniture refresh, and the TV was an older model rather than a smart TV. On the positive side, the room was very quiet, and we weren’t disturbed by any outside noise. The pool wasn’t particularly inviting, so we didn’t use it, and the breakfast buffet could be improved by offering a wider variety of food options.
Overall, it’s a great budget hotel. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and well-located place to stay, this is a good choice.

I booked a three bedroom next to the pool and was lied to about some kind if plumbing issue and had ro be moved to a two bedroom a block back from the pool. The room stank like dust, mould and mildew upon walking in, plus the bathroom smelt like spew. Definitely not worth $390 p/n. Disappointed and pi$$ed off.

Balinese flavour close to Cairns Hospital
We had hoped to postpone our stay by a week but found that the cancellation policy kicked in almost three days before we were due to arrive and there was no recourse to changing dates. Fortunately, rather than sacrifice the 100% cost, we were able to work things so we could make use of the night. We enjoyed a first class meal at the attached Balinese Restaurant with a delicious menu and fast, friendly and professional service. We had a studio room with a kitchenette with a microwave and essentials for self-catering if desired. Although the decor may be considered dated, the room was spotless and the beds were comfortable with no road noise from outside. There is a medium sized swimming pool in the centre of the two-story complex. There is limited secure parking. The location is ideal for those needing to be close to Cairns Hospital and nearby medical services. It is also handy to other restaurants and a block from the Esplanade.

Never have I been treated so bad at check-in. One double bed for two female friends is not acceptable in most instances. Also being told a portable bed was unavailable and ten minutes later being told there is a portable bed. There was water dripping on me whilst sitting on the toilet and also standing at the sink doing my teeth. The rooms are dated and a lift or ramp is required for heavy cases for upstairs.

It also states there’s facility carparking- there’s approximately 8 carparks for the entire facility, so if this is full you are required to park on the street. We had a three bedroom unit which was spacious. The rooms are a little run down but we looked past this and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hired a car as the walk into the city was too far with little ones. Staff were very helpful and let us stay past the check out time. Our unit had a washing machine and dryer which was great.

This is not a quiet place to stay. People permanently live in half of the rooms. They were stomping around upstairs till late hours of the night and again early in the morning. The couches were filthy. There was pubic hair in the main shower. The bed was rock hard. The blankets provided were disgusting and thin. Pillows were hard, flat and felt very old.

I was that exhausted from no sleep for 2 nights that we left a day early to a place half the price and beautiful clean rooms that were very comfy. Dont stay here if you want sleep.

Between 1am and 6am i was kept awake by the revolving door of drug deals happening in the adjacent room only broken up by the \"guest\" being visited by a prostitute that gave a loud Golden Globe performance of feined pleasure.
