The hotel & room is clean with safety box, kettle, tea/coffee box , 2 bottles water in fridge. The distance is around 3 minutes from train station, with all shops restaurants around，very convenient.

The buffet is impressive, with american standards, servers wearing butlers uniforms, with variety foods, scrambled eggs and bacon, fresh fruits, yogurt, the best of my trip. The towels quality is much better than european hotels provided．

i told manager The internet was unstable after 2 am in the morning before i left, he immediately checked with internet provider, very responsive in doing that. The price is good. i would recommend this hotel．

We had a very nice room on the main floor. It was spacious and have a nice bed. Fridge. Electric kettle and nice TV in working order. Wifi was very good. Staff was excellent from Reception to breakfast room. No complaints at all. I will stay there if I return to Nice.

The hotel in general is what I would consider a budget hotel. It was small, minimal amenities and in a somewhat questionable area. The hotel does not have parking so if you have a car and a need for nearby parking, this is not for you. If you have minimal luggage and take public transport or use cabs/ride share, this could be a good option. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and about a 12 minute walk to city center.

The hotel is close to the Eiffel Tower and Arc it’s easily accessible by walking, but the hotel itself looks very used and not very well maintained the door hinge would make it automatically close as broken in my room and the room just overall looked dingy and with the smallest room I’ve ever been in and I’m from New York. If you’re deciding between this and another option, pick the other option.

Be wary.

My first issue was I had a message from them at midnight whilst I was asleep and I woke up at 3am, heading to the airport the next morning. Asking me to update my credit card otherwise my room wouldn’t be reserved.
I wasn’t pleased that they could have told me this days before the actual day of me checking in. I messaged back saying, I have no way of updating it and no evidence on my side to show that it needs updating and I also explained that I wasn’t happy how they messaged at midnight to let me know this. So I explained on this occasion they should keep my room on hold as I’ll be checking in that day.
Only to get told by policy they need a pre authorisation. No apologies.

When I get to the hotel, worrying I had no room. I was able to check in as normal. No apologies at all for inconvenience. Please be wary.

Great location just a few steps from the train station so very convenient if you plan on taking the train often. Room was good and clean however the bathroom was very very small but it’s fine for my short trip. A street away from all the shopping and multiple restaurant options very close by. We got our room at about 2pm. Two laundromats right next door. Overall good stay!

It’s surprisingly beautiful boutique hotel for a BW. Photos are accurate. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I did had a small mishap with towels. it seems there is a limit if you are one person you can only request one towel. I had to ask 2x for 2 towels. One day they didn’t give me not even one. However, they corrected the issue. The area is not safe at night for solo travelers. It gets dark until 9pm during May so there is plenty of time to enjoy the area. Location is perfect, half of block away from tram and train station. I will definitely be back.

Tiny, smelly, but otherwise decent

As expected for the price the room is tiny with almost no room for even the door to open. Speaking of doors, our bathroom did not even have one. There is a closet for your things at least.
We had a serious issue with the smell of the whole place, it smelled very strange and stuffy, like old breakfast food. Keeping the window open all night did not even make it go away.
If you can handle the thick stench, and are either solo or don’t mind the tightness and lack of bathroom door, then this hotel is otherwise quite clean and nice looking.

I was welcomed by a lovely reception and he gave me all the required advice and showed me to the elevator. They required a €50 deposit for what i dont know. I had room 310 which was very small but comfortable for the 2 nights.

My room was nice, I was on the 3rd floor corner with a balcony view of the street. The tram stop is within 2min walk. The staff are all nice, James he is the reception when we checkout this morning. The breakfast was included and they are excellent. The cleaner lady after our first day did a good job cleaning the room. I highly recommend this hotel and I will book again in this hotel if I decided to go back in the future.

Beautiful hotel in great location

Hotel was excellent, beautiful comfortable room refurbished with great decor.

The room we stayed in had an open, visible shower which may not be suitable for friends staying together. The toilet is in a separate room. I’d enquire about the other rooms if this makes you uncomfortable. For us as a couple, we had no issues.

Location was right on the high street, with many tram facilities and rail station was a few minutes away.

We stayed here over a rugby world cup weekend and loved our stay. The hotel is central enough to be an easy walk around the centre, but still quiet inside and well insulated from the city noise. We didn't spend a lot of time inside the hotel but ticked all the boxes we needed - a great night's sleep and a decent buffet breakfast!

The room was extremely small i couldnt move and i was alone, if we were 2 it would be imposible. It wasnt clean inside the wardrobe in upper places dust everywhere. I had a problem with my door it wasnt opening and i had to ask several times to come someone to help me. The first night as i returned the hotel was locked and i waited 10 min out because the person in reception had something to do and locked the frond door. Thin walls you can hear next room talks. Nice breakfast fresh and tasty. Conveniant position just 2 min from the main train station.and nice solution for a short stay in a trip by train, but during night the region it looks a bit unsafe. An average hotel they can be better and less rude....!

This included the cheery man at breakfast who spoke to everyone. Speaking of breakfast, the offerings were good and set you up for the day.

This hotel was a great surprice for us. It was much better than expected.
Centrally located, we could walk to everything we wanted in Nice.
Friendly staff. Not so big, so it was not crowded in the common areas. Wifi was fast in the room too.

The door in room does not close at all, the room was too small and dark and uncomfortable, toilet was too small with bad odor inside. Area is not safe a lot of homeless ppl around. We booked the hotel expecting to receive a room as it is advertised on the nice pictures in Expedia.com. However, when we got to the room, the bathroom was old and dirty and the room smelled like cigarets.

We complained to the staff which was very friendly. However they told us that they have different rooms layouts which means we would not always get the same rooms as the ones on the pictures. Our problem was not the layout though, it was the quality of the bathroom and the cleanliness of the suite. It looks like this hotel has some refurbished/renewed suites and some old ones. On their advertisement, they only show you the refurbished areas which made me really angry when I realised I was fooled by them and that what I paid was not what I was getting.

The staff gave us an 'upgrade' on the second day of our stay to make up for our problems on the first night but I still feel like I was fooled by the pictures they show in the website since the upgrade room was actually the quality I was expecting to get in the first place.

I would NOT recommend this hotel since you have no guarantees you will receive the renewed rooms. You might be unlucky and get stuck with their old and dirty rooms. In our first night, there was dust inside the shower on the area close to the ceiling. Even though the staff is friendly, I think this hotel is a disappointment to the Best Western franchise. Actually, it is not the first time I get disappointed with Best Western chain.

Best Western Sewer Nightmare

The property was very poorly ran. Only 1 staff was in the hotel. My room smelled like a waste site. Bathroom was leaking methane gas and my uncle’s room had the same awful odor permeating throughout the room. The gas/odor gave everyone headaches within 5 mins of entering a room. We asked the front desk to smell the room himself and he would not- simply saying he knows. He would not change us to a different room - claiming his hotel was full. We asked to speak to the manager/owner but he would not call. My uncle and I had no choice but to leave the property and booked a different hotel. Please check twice before booking; I was very disappointed with Hotels.com. The poor vetting process of listed hotels ruin my vacation in Nice. The hotels claim to be a 4Stars Best Western. What a disappointment. Please do not stay here unless you are ready to smell the sewer all night. Shame on you for misleading us Best Western and Hotels.com.

I liked the fact that it was so close to the train station. We were walking and bringing luggage. To get to the beach or old town, we just took a tram - it was about a block away.
Everyone at the front desk was very helpful.

Good, but not a great area and strange bathroom

The area immediately surrounding the hotel seems to be a bit dangerous. There were always people standing around on the streets that made me uncomfortable. I wouldn’t enter or leave the hotel alone at night. Obviously this isn’t something that the hotel can control much, but it is something to consider when reserving. It is a convenient location close to the train station and the tram stop.

The hotel itself was pretty good. The only thing that was great was that the bathroom was a bit strange and had absolutely no ventilation.

Lots of mould in the bathroom. The hotel had ran out of shower gel & soap when I phoned to request more I was told that I wouldn’t get until the hotel received their order & spoken to like a complete inconvenience (perhaps on check in they could have told me this as when I discovered this all the shops were closed). This is my 3rd trip away this year & I have stopped taking any in my hand luggage as the hotels have all been fully equipped. Not 4 star standards considering we had been out all day in 27 degree temperatures. 😡 requested a wake up call which they took a note of but never made.

Unfortunately our room on the 3rd floor was built around the hotel lift, which was noisy every time the lift was used. The room size due to the lift was small and tight, also very dull and dark with poor lighting.
We stayed in this room for three nights, no hand towels were left for us after the first night, resulting in us chasing reception up to try and obtain some, to which we were instructed that the hotel were having a problem with the hand towels and they didn't have any.
On a better note, the breakfast room was light and welcoming with a very good selection of continental buffet available.
Location was very good for access to the train station about 5 minutes, and around a 15 minute walk down to the promenade.
However on our last morning the lift had broken, no notification or apologies from staff for any inconvenience caused, this resulted in my wife and i having to struggle carrying our suitcases down the stairwell to checkout.
Would i use this hotel again? i don't think so.

Checked in 2 days ago and was put in a minimal double room on the 1st floor. The shower leaked, the cleanliness of the room was awfull (mirror had never been cleaned before we checked in) so complained to reception and got told that they would look in too it...on the second day the room started to smell of sewage (poo) so again walked down to adress the issue and finally got offered another room on the 3d floor. Cleanliness of the new room was doubtfull but atleast it didnt smell....3d day in the new room we left in the morning to come back in the afternoon to a half tidy room...and no coffe, milk or water refilled. called down to let reception know and got told thats only for the first night...so if I had made four diffrent reservations would I have gotten refills?? Ive worked as a receptionist (and worked my way up in Hotels)for 10 years and this is absolutley the worst costumer service ive ever had..This hotel is not a 4 star maybe because if location but definitly not due to service, structure or rooms. ps the whole Hotel smells like sewage from the reception area as you walk in, the lounge(dont have a drink here as you will puke) to the corridors....absolute joke for what you pay for the pleasure of smelling poo all day.

Lovely hotel with really friendly and helpful staff, and easy to get to. It has easy access from Nice airport and the Nice train station which is only a short walk away. The only annoying thing is the promenade is a 20minute walk away and when you have done it a few times it gets a bit tiring.

This definitely not what you expect from 4 star hotel. Service is average. Location is super bad - you don’t feel safe in this area. Rooms are bigger that average, but super outadated. What is the worse - you can hear every sound from the neighborhoods. It is freaked me out.

We stayed 4 nights. I noticed one bulb not working so the room couldn't be brighter than it should be. Normal toiletteries not being replaced everyday. Housekeeping should have a checklist of what to be replenished. Experienced one day of no electricity at Breakfast ares and the machine for pancake and coffee cannot be used, which I think that should be compensated.

Lovely hotel. Shame they didn't have the room we requested on check in, but we moved after the first night and they compensated us with breakfast.

Best Customer Service at this Best Western

The Best Western Cosy is situated less than a 5 minute walk from the train station making it incredibly easy to get to and from and handy for day trips on the train along the Côte D’Azur.
The hotel has been recently renovated and it is beautifully decorated in both the lobby and rooms. Our room was spotlessly clean, a good size, with comfy beds, a good shower (decent water power which is important), bedside plug sockets and tea kettle (you can take the Brit out of Britain....). There was a small bar in the lobby, very reasonably priced, with little cheese and nibbles in the evenings.
The hotel manager Eric was simply outstanding in helping with an issue of Euros I had left behind and went above and beyond to help sort this matter out and get the money back to me (I have renewed faith in humanity). I cannot thank him enough.
All in all, a fabulous French hotel with lovely staff always happy to help.

Difficult to Use the closet with the bed is blocking it. Old and tired. Leaky shower. Cockroach in the room.

Just that it is not 4 stars hotel

I was expectint for 4 stars hotel. It is maybe 3 stars only. It is in the cente, the cost was good but it dose not feell nice. The bed wad not ok, the shawer the same.
The staff are nice.

I didn't like the room, is too dark.too nosy at night the lift is non stop during the night. During my stay, room attendant didn't change the bedlinen. Didn't hoover the last day didn't empty the bin. Breakfast small flies around the pastries, should have a proper fresh coffee not this machine.
