Friendliest staff ever, lovely and quiet in October, immaculately clean, great breakfast, complimentary bottle of fizz with our Expedia booking and less than 10 minutes walk to Fira. We booked a Caldera view … didn’t realise that also overlooked the road so if we stay again I’ll book a non-Caldera view. No hesitation in recommending this hotel. Thanks for a great holiday.

Nice hotel but they didn’t explain how to operate the air conditioner on the 2nd floor and I had to ask for the mattress on the pull out couch to be switched because it was way too soft and the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Very disappointed to learn on our last day that we can oils have ordered breakfasts à La carts instead of buffet and apparently this was an option we could have chosen every day because breakfast was included. Instead I never ate at all because I dislike buffet style breakfasts.

The rooms are clean but it definitely not 5 star. The ahoqers anee old but there is a jacuzzi tub. The TV didnt work and they never fixed it.

The Majestic Hotel is a beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff who are always friendly and welcoming.
The pool area is large with plenty of sitting . Our room was very spacious with a Hugh balcony where we could see the sunset every evening . The bathroom was very clean and a good size . We had breakfast included in our room booking and it was amazing!!! The staff there were incredible . The hotel manager made a point to greet every guest and she was very accommodating to our needs .Thank you E!!!!

Great option, 10 minutes from town with views of sunset and sunrise. The service staff was amazing, Amin and his bar tender at night and Dora and her colleague in the morning had smiles and no request was not tended to very quickly. I really appreciated my stay and believe you will too!

The hotel is clean and the views are amazing. A wide choice of hot and cold dishes for breakfast. Location is walking distance of Fira. We had a car and parking could be a problem at times. Beautiful four day stay

Absolutely brilliant stay. Had the suite for our honeymoon - plenty of space, massive room and overlooking the sea and sunset. All the staff were absolutely lovely and went out of the way organising car hire, dinner recommendations and also tried to help with a bus timetable in Crete lol. My wife had a 25 min complimentary facial which she said was as brilliant just wasnt long enough and was already falling asleep. From reception, pool bar and breakfast everyone was excellent. Nikos our lifeguard also kept us safe for the four days we were there so another positive. Walking distance into Fira for dinner so perfectly located. Hammered 2 brothers for a few cocktails and a bit of a party, would recommend. Overall a very excellent experience and would be happy to return.

We stayed for 5 nights. Staffs are very friendly . They show lots of care to children gave my six years old son free ice cream and toy. They remember his name too. They handled our luggage’s without asking and staff are not keen on tips always smiling ! There are two swimming pools by the pool side restaurant. The pool sizes are great in Fira ! A few inflatables are provided in the pool for guest ! We spend a lot of time in the pools and restaurant as well as the playroom ! Our room is facing to the east which is the quieter side with a nice view ! Breakfasts are nice love their Greek yogurt. Sunset lounge is great for watching sunset in a relaxed way. Only 10 mins to walk to Fira town centre so we can enjoy the sunset every evening at the caldera ! Will definitely come back !

Perfect stay at a wonderful hotel

This hotel is amazing. You will not be disappointed if you book it - I promise you! The rooms are spacious, we had a balcony overlooking the caldera (you may not have this - some rooms overlook the other side) with an incredible view. The room had a jacuzzi bathtub in it. The gym is really well equipped. The pool is large compared to other hotels in and around Fira. The building feels so private - the only time we really saw other guests was at breakfast or at the pool. Talking of breakfast - it was a brilliant selection of buffet items and cooked to order eggs. We didn't eat elsewhere at the hotel because it's a 10 minute walk into Fira and we preferred to do that. I worried for ages about whether I'd done the right thing booking a bigger hotel a bit further out of Fira and without the famous private pools, but once we arrived at The Majestic Hotel, I knew I'd made the right choice. A truly perfect stay. Thank you!

If you want to spend many hours gazing at the caldera, suggest stay in firostefani or Oia, but if you plan to spend more time seeing the island, as we did, this is fantastic quality and value.

Brilliant hotel, run by extremely friendly and helpful staff. Pool is fantastic, the pool bar has awesome cocktails and a wide selection of food/snacks which are delicious. Rooms made up fresh every day (even on the slightly hungover days we maybe didn’t leave till 12pm!) Location is ideal also, feels like a private setting but only a 5/10 min walk into town.

As a quick example our luggage did not make the same journey as us 😓. The hotel management took it upon themselves to put our minds and ease and chase this up directly with the airport. It arrived the following day and was delivered straight to the room.

Would recommend and would stay again if we ever get the chance to return to this gorgeous island.

Pleasant, but simple hotel a convenient 10 minute walk away from Fira town centre. Whilst we had a pleasant stay, I expect more from a 5 star. Simple rooms, with very dated bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is the bare minimum with slow service. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall an average hotel but not deserving of 5 stars.

We travelled to Santorini with our family and this was the perfect hotel, both in location and hotel facilities.

The staff were brilliant and they worked hard to make our stay relaxing and memorable.

Having a heated pool really made it for the kids as the main pool was too cold to swim in.

It’s only a short walk into Fira from the hotel which made it idea as we had space at the hotel but we could enjoy the beautiful town and restaurants.

The walk is paved and safe.

The location of this hotel was optimal as it was a 10 minute walk to the town of Firá. The hotel employees were very nice and accommodating. The bathrooms were a little outdated and the shower pressure was not very optimal-for those of you who are concerned with these things. The room was a bit buggy as we was multiple spiders and insects throughout the day. Considering the location and the overall stay, I would say that I had a pleasant stay. Just hope they update some areas soon.

Front desk check-in process is single-threaded. If you arrive with others, expect the process to take a while. Careful of paying more for Caldera view as that means you also have a delightful view (and sound) of the main street. Double check any excursions set up as there is no confirmation provided and mistakes were made in arranging an excursion. (Fortunately, Christina was able to quickly resolve when we showed up for excursion.) The rooms are dated, but clean. Room service personnel was friendly. WI-FI was a problem the entire stay.

The facilities for this hotel are good- nice pool, comfortable rooms etc. However, the hotel is right next to a busy road which is very noisy, on top of that, there are birds that fly at the windows (you can actually see bird footprints on the window from where they hit it) from sunrise to sunset each day (we were woken at 6:20ish each day we were there)- the hotel are aware of this problem and say the birds are attracted to the glass and there’s nothing they can do- they attack all of the windows. We were told it’ll be “a memory of your holiday in Greece”. In short, only stay here if you are a heavy sleeper

Highlight is the pool - big enough to do laps. The hotel serves a great buffet breakfast, the room was comfortable, and the staff is friendly. Had dinner and lunch at restaurant- service is slow and nothing special. I’d recommend walking into town for dinner.
