Nothing bad about it, but nothing great either…

This is an unusual one as it had the Four Seasons brand, but it’s not a normal Four Seasons at all.

Think of it more of a residential apartment, self contained short term let (with daily housekeeping) than a Four Seasons and you’ll be fine.

The pool is more like a retirement village hang out than a full service Four Seasons property.

But once you’re past that, it’s ok.

The restaurant menu was uninspiring so didn’t opt to dine in the property, instead there are loads of Michelin recommended restaurants within 30 mins away so we had some great meals out.

It’s perfectly clean, very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. It’s just I struggle to call this a true Four Seasons.

Would I stay again? Probably not. But it was fine.

Staying here is unique. We stayed in a building with only four rooms. However, it is weird in that there are only 3 parking spaces for the building? The Aviara complex has many building spread out over the Aviara complex. Everything about the stay was first rate except the resort fees. This hotel seems to be like every other hotel I stay at and hides the fees until check out. You can only guess why they play this game with their customers.

I was so blown away by the hospitality during our stay. We were celebrating my birthday and a new baby on the way, and they'd decorated our room upon arrival, had a pack n play already assembled for my son, and went above and beyond to make the weekend feel so, so special. Also, everything was soo clean and beautiful on top of the experience as well. The pool, locker room, kids club, etc. were all pristine and so nice.

We were already looking for times to come stay again this year before we even left the property. We'll be back!

First of all is not a prototype of a 4 seasons it is a residence 4 seasons there is only one restaurant the room although very comfortable lacked a lot of amenities there was no valet it seems there os a lot of cost contaiment which has affected the quality and it is not a good value for the money

I dont know if we loved the Staff or the Property more! Our check-in was one of the best I've encountered, Alexis and Brenden were great! Upon arrival I decided to upgrade to a Villa--the best decion of this vacation, our Villa was absolutely perfect! The property and rooms are luxurious, spacious, clean and well managed. The staff is very professional and personable. I absolutely loved our Villa, we had a picturesque view, sunsets were amazing and we overlooked the lagoon. I loved our stay, it was truly amazing!

Not what I expected from a Four Seasons. We stayed for at week and the room was not cleaned properly. The room had 3 robes, two of which were used and dirty. Spiders in the bathroom. Nightstands were never wiped down or the dining table in the room. The carpet was vacuumed in the main area but not by the dining table or bed during the daily cleaning. Our second day we went out all day and came back in the evening and the door was left completely open by housekeeping. The rooms above and beside us had guests up all night running around and making so much noise. Front desk and restaurant service was above excellent but really nothing else.

This property is dated. The spa is expensive old and not up to what one expects at a Four Seasons. The furniture is tired the staff inexperienced. The restaurant looks old even though the food is good also not at the level expected. Underwhelming so much that the next door Park Hyatt property has been redone nicely and it has views of the ocean wheras this property does not.

We stayed 2 nights for our sons 1st bday weekend and Father’s Day. We were so impressed with the hospitality, the grounds, the room, the food and all the activities for the weekend. They even decorated our room for our sons bday and sent complimentary refreshments for Fathers Day. The grounds are immaculately kept up as well as the rooms. So many kid friendly spaces and scheduled activities for the whole family to enjoy. Pool is warm and the small pool for the kiddos is perfect. This is hospitality at its best and we cannot wait to come back! Thanks to Jessica and her team!

Needs a remodel. The carpet in our room reeked of musk and was worn out - like it's been steam cleaned too many times. The room was also very dark (first floor) and looked like a typical \"nice\" room from the 90s. I expect more from the Four Seasons in terms of aesthetic. We were in some far away building - without a car you can't easily access the main building that has all the amenities - the building we were in also had a pool and club house, but again - super 90s and nothing felt luxurious. They do offer a shuttle service between the main building and the far away 'residences' they'll likely put you in - you just have to call ahead of time and wait.

This property is kid friendly and next door to us was staying a family that had screaming children for the 2 days we were there. We had to ask the children to keep it down. Awkward. The only day that it was warm enough to enjoy the pool, a kid pooped in it and no one was able to use it for the whole day. Heads up if you're looking for a relaxing couples getaway.

Also, you'll get hit with a $45/day resort fee - not quite sure what it's for on top of the already pricey per night rate.

The best part of our stay was The Seasons restaurant, good vibe and value.

If you’re expecting a traditional Four Seasons experience, this will not be it. From small things, like lack of robes in the rooms, to major things, like the most rude front desk management I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting, this place is not up to snuff. Perhaps it’s because these are merely residences, but I moved to a different property promptly and am receiving quality 5-star treatment elsewhere, which the director room and guest relations manager at this property could use some serious training on how to deliver.

I would advise a hard pass to those of you expecting anything above a two to three star experience at a “time-share” type resort. Perhaps I was treated so rudely because I was a solo Latina traveler, but do yourself a favor and pivot somewhere where you’re guaranteed to be treated as you would expect for a luxury name.

The spa leaves a lot to be wanting and the spa facilities lack basic amenities. The restaurant is pretty decent and has friendly servers. The pool is fine, but not a typical Four Seasons vibe. The bed linens were the one perfect and cozy thing.

Bellmen and housekeeping were great. If you do have to interface with management, ask for Francisco or Dora who seem to be the only ones clued into guest satisfaction and possess the requisite emotional intelligence to treat guests respectfully.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Incredibly well kept and clean. The staff is phenomenal - super attentive and accommodating. Very quick to respond to any questions or requests. Always incredibly courteous and friendly. The pool areas are stunning. Can’t say enough about this place or it’s staff. My 8 year commented on how they treat everyone like VIPs. Highly recommend. Also very close to Legoland and within an hour to both Seaworld and Disneyland.

We had a nice stay at this property during our daughters’ big swim meet at a nearby large community facility. Our daughters were on team travel and we decided to have more of a vacation stay with other swim parents. The service, bed and linens, and L’Occitane products were top notch. We were disappointed by how spread out the property is, the ambience in the restaurant and some of the food quality, like I was very surprised they used Kellogg’s granola for their yogurt parfaits, rather than a more gourmet kind. The hotel also has a very early checkout policy—10am—and they refused to extend it even though it’s low season. Overall, it felt like a nice hotel, but not the top quality of Four Seasons.

Change the name to The Three Seasons

... because there is definitely something missing. Before we arrived we got an email that the spa facility was closed. When we are talking about a five star resort, even in covid times, its not alright. The hotel told us that they would be happy to assist us, if we wanted to use the spa at two other nearby spas. If other nearby hotels can be open, why not the one in this hotel? Money is the reason. Also we was told that we was not able to come before 4.30 p.m. to check in and check out was 10 a.m. WHAT? We are on vacation, we was checking out a sunday morning, so we had to get up very early to check out. Again money. We was given a nice room, but it was located out to the main service road where every body enters, so EVERY morning we was awakening very early, by trucks unloading or other service vehicle making an incredible noice. The first day we went to the pool around 5 p.m., it was sunny, nice weather, when we did enter, there was a sign saying that the pool was closed for our health and safety. Are you kidding me?? At 5 p.m. in a Four Seasons, why?, again money. The same was the case the next morning. The first day we had the no disturb sign on the door until 10 a.m when we left the room. At 4 p.m. when we came back, no housekeeping was done because we had the sign on the door until 10 a.m. We ended up not having any done in the three days because we couldn't meet the deadline for leaving the room. Save your money and go to a resort that can handle guest.

Nice place, but some buildings are not great

Pretty property with three sepatate neighborhoods of units. Units ate clean and well-maintained. The balconies on a few face Aviara Parkway and are noisy. Sound carries in the canyon. The 1800 and 1900 buildings in the \"Summits\" should be avoided. The \"Meadows\" are best.

I can’t wait for my next stay at the Four Seasons! This place is taking all precautions due to covid and the cleanliness of our room was outstanding. I was able to check in prior to arriving and everything was just so easy. Parking was located right outside of our villa, spaces were a bit tight but there were a lot of spots available. The staff was so accommodating and we were able to have bottles of water delivered right to our doorstep. They even accommodated my request for late check out. 10/10 recommend. Worth every penny and I can’t wait for my next stay here.
