This place is so perfect for what I was looking for I almost don’t want to share so it stays a secret. It was the perfect retreat for what I needed. I was there for wellness treatments in the area. And my room was a perfect retreat on a quaint and quiet lake with ducks , swans and an array of singing birds. Like I said…. Perfect.

Our experience at Lakehouse Hotel & Resort was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located with stunning lake views that instantly make you feel relaxed.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the grounds are very well maintained. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Whether you’re walking by the water, enjoying the amenities, or just unwinding in your room, the entire experience feels like a true getaway.

The overall experience was amazing. The rooms were spacious and clean. The resort fee included SO many actvities that we enjoyed - kayaking, biking, pickleball courts, the pool and more! The staff was fantastic!

The room was clean and spacious. The check in staff was nice, but I felt like another number. They offer so many amenities but some close at 4 or 5 and check in is at 4 so I guess you can only use the free time they give you if you are staying multiple nights? I would bring my family back to spend the day here since some of the activities are open to the public. I think the best way to enjoy this resort is to get a cottage.

Staff was great. Love the property. Lots to do. I wish things stayed open later than 5 in terms of the activities but I can understand it being off season. Only complaint I'd say about the room is the shower head was very low pressure which drives me crazy. Feels like it takes so much longer to rinse. But that's minor in the grand scheme. Will t. otally come back to stay again

The staff are very nice and welcoming. The room looks clean and the unit we stayed at was a pet friendly. Unfortunately, we found a garment on the corner floor that doubtful if the room was actually thoroughly clean.

Room is okay, space was nice but the cleanliness left something to be desired. The fitness room was under renovations from a fire a few months ago so the staff offered items that were already came with the booking which was very disappointing. We used the pool/spa which was nice despite the rain.

Staff were kind and very helpful. Room and whole property clean. Lovely little lake with evening light show and a bridge nearby great for beautiful pictures. Amalfi Cucina Restaurant next door excellent fine dining. We celebrated a late Christmas dinner with family there. The downstairs dockside restaurant was easy to run over to for lunch or take out. Great stay.

Love this place. Cute Christmas event going on. Only disappointment was the Marina Bar wait staff. Never checked in on us while eating and drinking. Quick to look for their 20% tip. The bathrooms were disgusting on all levels. The restaurant is NOT affiliated with the resort, but everyone goes there.

I stayed here spring 2024 and I think I got an old room - smelled musky- but well appointed and clean although there could have been more lighting in the room. Just stayed there again and got newer room I think bc didn’t have the smell. Housekeeping is so so - one day they gave us fresh towels but didn’t make beds; another day made bed but no fresh towels. For the price they are a bit stingy - stayed there 3 nights and was told only complimentary bottled water on arrival. S’mores pack are 1 per room regardless of # of guest or # of nights. I’d stay again but only if $ is right otherwise I don’t feel the hospitality

We stayed in room 7 219. We had a quiet stay. The bed was comfortable, the room was probably the best at the resort! We would definitely stay in that room again if two things were addressed… The shower filled up with water because there was a slow drain. Separately, the screen door to the patio was off the track. Fixing those two things would make the stay in that room absolutely perfect.

We recently stayed at the lake house for the second time and had another stellar visit! My husband and I traveled with our two young children and our room was large, clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the pool, the fire pits with the s’mores kits and activities on the lake, of course! My husband and my son also really enjoyed the bucket of balls included at the driving range! This location is a total gem and we will be back again for sure!

Everything was so amazing. Our room was conveniently located across the pool and next to the coffee shop. It was also PWD friendly. There are so many fun things to do - we can’t wait to be back again.

Only complaint was there was a hair on one of the towels provided to us. It wasn’t a big deal as there were more extra towels provided.

The room was not as pictured. The room type showed 2 beds and the room had only one bed. We planned a girls weekend and needed a second bed. When I inquired about it I was told they were fully booked and could not move us. They advised that the couch had a pull-out bed. I didn't pay $400 per night for someone to sleep on a pull-out bed.

The room was very spacious and overlooking the lake! The balcony had comfortable Adirondak style chairs. Such a beautiful resort. We went to the driving range for a quick practice bucket which was included in our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The on-site bar/restaurant was easy to walk to and had great food and a live band on Friday night!

There are much better places to stay. The photos make this \"resort\" look much better than it really does. The rooms are very basic and worn. The carpet was disgusting and the room was not clean. You can hear everything your neighbors do. We listened to screaming children, dogs barking, people stomping around above us and couples fighting the entire time. We got no sleep, it was awful. The bed was like sleeping on concrete, the pillows were flat and terrible. The \"lake\" is more like a pond in actuality. Nothing positive to say about staying here.

Really wanted to like this place, but didn't. It's worn, the walls are paper thin. We were on the ground floor and the people above us kept us awake all night for the duration of our stay. You can hear people walking, talking and slamming doors all night. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from the pool as possible because they play music all day at the pool starting very early in the morning. The resort fee is a joke: you pay for a stale s'mores kit and alleged lake access you never get to redeem. Additionally, the property is quite far from San Diego proper so you'll spend more than forty minutes driving to and from there. The staff we encountered were nice, but it doesn't make up for the property's shortcomings. Very unhappy stay.
