The front desk staff was NOT very customer friendly aside from the General Manager Dimitar whom I did meet until check out time. The buffet breakfast was adequate, area was very clean & the kitchen staff worked hard to keep everything replenished.

My first impression of the hotel was average until I made it into my room. As it was so close to the freeway the noise from it was uncomfortably loud and as soon as I checked in I asked for another room. The desk person was not able to accommodate the request because we booked through hotels.com which I think is a terrible reason. I was very disturbed by the freeway noise it woke me up during the wee hours of the morning. We were not able but use the jacuzzi because it was tepid, that was another disappointment with the hotel. The one redeeming quality was that they had a pretty decent hot breakfast available with a lot of options.

Our stay was awesome! We reserved the King/Bunk room and were pleasantly surprised to discover that each area of the room(actually two rooms) had their own bathrooms. This made time after the pool and beach efficient since we could all get ready at the same time for our next activity. Breakfast options were plenty! There was something for everyone. Eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt…you name it. The pool was heated, clean and a plus for clean bathrooms close by. Upon checking out the hotel manager made me feel valued by asking about our stay and seemed genuinely interested in honest feedback. Overall this is a very well managed hotel, never mind that it’s budget friendly, they’ll leave you feeling like you paid top dollar. I would definitely book again 😊

Unless you like mystery fluids in your room, and interstate noise keeping you up all night, the rudest staff in the industry, don’t stay here.
Our key card kept deactivating and when we went to the front desk, we were told it was probably something we did and noticed a note that there was one room next door to us on psych watch and another close by that inquired about a gun.
Not my idea of a nice weekend getaway with my family. Didn’t sleep a wink.

Anything that may have been good about my stay is over shadowed by the fact that i am being OVER CHARGED for a dog that wasnt on the trip. I have called 4 times and spoken with front office to get the charge reversed. But here i am, over a week later, and the charge is still there.
Aside from that, my honest review is that I would never stay at this hotel again and here is why.
1. The furniture is shabby. The drawers wouldn't even stay closed.
2. There was a huge whole in the shower wall.
3. The carpet in our room was nasty!
4. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. My back was killing me and my neck was so stiff. We had 2 rooms and my son in law was complaining of back pain too.
5. The employees were rude! Not all of them, but most of them. Even when I was thanking them for breakfast, or bringing me extra towels. My thank you was met with a grunt.
Again. I will never stay at this hotel again. And you still owe me a refund for the dog that didn’t come with us!

Family hotel, free breakfast. Motel right by the freeway. Very loud traffic noise, hard to filter out, especiallyat night. Breakfast was good, lots of families so it was a little crazy in the morning. Most inside tables to sit and eat were full but able to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather while enjoying breakfast.
Bunkbed option was nice to have with a family of four, they were very squeaky, it was nice to have the extra room.

This property was as expected for what we paid. The staff was helpful enough. The breakfast was OK. The bed was clean. However, the curtains had holes in them. The adjoining room door had a broken handle, and the freeway noise was very loud. We could also hear the kids jumping in the room above ours so the soundproofing wasn’t great! But close to everything we wanted to be by… so that was good!

Challenges- The traffic from the freeway was loud but doable. We had a family suite which was nice but the rooms need considerable updating. Would still stay here again. 😊

Our family took a trip to Legoland for the weekend and this hotel was extremely close. For the price, it was absolutely worth it. Staff was friendly. Check in was easy. Pool area well maintained and the rooms were pretty spacious and clean. The breakfast was also a pretty good spread and would absolutely book here again.

My husband has a sleeping disorder and we asked if we could take one of the chairs for him to sleep in and would have it down back in the dining room before the breakfast crowd arrived… the answer was a diffinitive no and not much other help .

I’m sure there’s better hotels for the same or better price.
The room’s restroom smelt like sewage along with a slight mold smell inside the room itself. If you have allergies I would be concerned.

If you have trouble sleeping try asking for a room away from the freeway. The doors have a slight gap. You will hear EVERYTHING.

On the plus side, this property doesn’t charge for parking or breakfast (it’s included in your stay).

It was a place to sleep. There wasn't anything outstanding. We had switched from a much nicer and bigger suite in another hotel that was a close price and so much nicer in every way that I can think of. Even the breakfast was better at the previous hotel and even hadcut up fruit each day.

The stay was perfect. We only stayed for one night but next time I take my kid to legoland we will for sure be staying here multiple days.

The pool was open until 10pm which was relaxing after a long day of walking. The front desk staff were nice and helpful.

Also the location is perfect as it’s close to almost anything you’ll need!

The campus was clean enough for tired travelers attending a soccer tournament to not notice details.
The double bed room for four was clean, tight and manageable and the shower/bathroom was clean. They provided enough towels and switched out towels with just a phone call to room service, we really didn't need our room to be attended. The elevator was clean and not abused by visitors.
Breakfast downstairs was sufficient for a light snack and the coffee was good as well.
We didn't have time for the small pool, jacuzzi and fitness room.
The front desk staff was polite and very helpful.

We checked into the hotel and after getting to our room realized that there was a deep smell that was off putting. The sound of freeway traffic wasn't dampened at all, likely because of the fact that the door wasn't sealed with a large gap to the outside. We informed the hotel but they stated that's to be expected and there were no better rooms. We had to leave to find a new hotel as they weren't willing to help and we couldn't sleep due to the noise and smell.

The hotel is very close to Legoland. The room was clean, and the property is well-kept. However, the pool is very small; I chose not to use it; it appears larger online, but it is very small.

The hotel is very close to the freeway, and you can hear the freeway noise all night. Overall, the stay was good.

The hotel staff was very friendly and polite, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the breakfast experience was disappointing. The food was not replenished quickly, so many items stayed empty for a long time, and there was a very limited quantity and selection available overall. The waffle maker was also not working during breakfast service. It seemed like the staff on hand were doing their best, but there wasn’t enough help available to keep up with the guests. With better staffing and improved breakfast management, the experience could be much better.

Our experience began with an attempt to check in early; however, we were informed there would be an additional $30 fee or that we could return at the standard 3:00 p.m. check-in time. We chose to return at 3:00 p.m. as advised, but upon arrival, we experienced an additional one-hour wait before our party was accommodated.

Upon entering the rooms, we encountered several cleanliness concerns. Our room had an unpleasant odor, as if water had been sitting for an extended period, and another room in our party had condom wrappers left on the floor. Additionally, my sister was initially assigned the incorrect room, which required further correction.

On a more positive note, the breakfast was excellent. Despite a change in weather, the pool remained warm, and the jacuzzi was very enjoyable. The property’s location was also convenient, situated approximately 10 minutes from Legoland.

The room we stayed in (316) needs a bathtub renovation. The tub was peeling off in many places. I didn’t even want to take a shower because it felt dirty! It was the first time I ever took a hotel shower with flip flops on. The hot breakfast was very good & the coffee was amazing! Staff was very nice. If noise bothers you though, find another place to stay. It’s so close to the freeway!

We would stay here again!!! That says a lot!! The rooms are older but nice. We stayed towards the middle so we didn't hear the freeway. The breakfast is fresh and delicious every morning , Great even for the picky eaters there is something for everyone. The staff is very polite. We were to close to the beach so we never tried the pool. But it did look nice and clean.

I am very disappointed with this facility. There were several things that I have listed to better improve this facility.
1.) The furniture was not presentable. The night table was damaged and covered with a clock. The dresser was also damaged. The curtain had a hole and tear in it, which was very visible.
2.) I requested to change rooms due to a certain smell. The second room was better.
3.) Water pressure for the shower was very weak. The toilet seat was also not properly placed. The seat kept moving.
4.) Door key card malfunctioned twice where we had to go to the front desk twice to have them reprogram the keys.
5.) It said there was Netflix on the remote but there was none according to the television.
6.) 11:00 am was the check out and housekeeping knocked at around 9:00-9:30 am and we did have the do not disturb tag on our door.

As far as cleanliness it was fine. I normally don't write reviews but this is the first time. I have stayed at other La Quinta hotels but nothing compared them to this location.

When I first pulled up, I thought the hotel was out of business. The grass was over grown, weeds all around the building
. This place allows pets. The room with carpet had stains, smelled like dog pee and the bathroom was in bad condition with stains on walls and damaged furniture.

Good location, could walk to the beach, but right next to I5, so prepare for the noise, all doors open to the outside, so the freeway comes right thru the door and window. Breakfast had good options, was always hot and well attended by the staff Pool and Hot Tub looked nice, did not use it. Had an issue with the top of the window sill leaking into the room, making the floor and entry tile all wet. Staff had it repaired, but did not dry carpet or tile, or offer to move us to another room. Not impressed by the service of the GM there.

It was really an okay hotel, nothing fancy. But great value for the price. We booked a suite with 1 king bed and a bunk bed. It had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Very impressed with the space. Room was facing the highway, so was really noisy. But we were tired from the long day at the Legoland park, so did not mind. Also rooms are a bit outdated, but everything worked and was clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast had nice variety. Advice- try to wake up early to breakfast. It gets crazy crowded after 8am on weekends. Overall- good value for the price!
