The staff at the Omni were incredible!! From check in to check out they were above and beyond. William at check in was fabulous and had our room ready early and was able to add the valentines special with late check out. When the champagne and strawberries were not delivered they went above and beyond sending champagne and chocolate Bon bons, waived the fee, and even Kimberly followed up sending a second bottle of champagne and the chocolate covered strawberries. All staff was attentive and our long weekend was unforgettable. Thank you all so much for making the weekend magical!! We will definitely be returning ❤️

I had a wonderful time at La Costa. The staff were professional and attentive. The room was fantastic, although I wish they had real bathroom doors. The food was delicious, and I loved that the fitness room was open 24 hours. You truly don’t have to leave the resort to enjoy yourself.

The room was not what it showed in the pictures but over all it was fine. Just the only problem was the shower smelled like mold when you turned on the water. That made it very unpleasant. It’s hard not to be able to shower where you are staying we had to use the bath tub for that.

Room had an odd dripping water sound in the wall and the walls/doors were a little thin.

The hotel has suffered some set backs in the 2 years since we’d last been there. The hotel was much dirtier. Especially in common areas like the pool and arcade. Service was overall not great. All the Valet staff is amazing! They give a great first impression. Our front desk check in was cold and unwelcoming, a pretty stark contrast. The folks in the market were also all really great. The restaurant was hot or miss. Had a terrible dinner in Vue our first night there. Service was abysmal and our salad was obviously not washed because there was sand in it. Had a great breakfast there the day we left. So maybe don’t go for dinner?

The kids loved the pool, slides and splash pads! Everything was clean and the restaurants on site were good. The rooms were nice and new, but several other areas could definitely use some updating. The staff was great!

The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spacious. We were there for New Year’s Eve and there was no availability for dinner. We couldn’t even use our free drink tickets. We tried ordering through the QR code and it was glitchy for hours and really hard to follow the website. We had to leave the grounds to find our own food. When we were finally able to use the QR code we ordered breakfast and the breakfast was terrible and incredibly overpriced. I think it was ordered through a third party. It was confusing and really inconvenient. Are the guests supposed to starve? Luckily we only stayed for one night because we were bored and hungry and were very disappointed. I thought it was a high end resort but I was wrong.

The service is always the best here. Stayed here for a golf getaway with my buddies and really enjoyed myself. Loved both courses; but the North is by far the better course.

The room and staff were great but OMNI charged us a second time $614.94. AFTER we had paid Expedia $533.69. We were told we only needed to pay what was indicated on the Expedia confirmation that we showed them. I’m not sure who is to blame Omni or Expedia but someone needs to refund us.

The property is in a really nice area and the outside looks really nice. However inside the room is very old. During our stay, 1) we have a 3 year old kid with a stroller, as soon as we open the door, there's a 5-6 steps going down in order to get into the room, which made it very difficult for us to go in and out with the stroller. 2) The bathroom sink was clogged when we checked in, we called the front desk to have someone fix it, but after they came, it was still draining very very very slow, to the point we need to stop, wait for it to drain, and then continue to use it. 3) The air dryer was dirty and broken, we called for them to send another one, the new one was also very nasty, and didn't work at certain angle probably due to poor wire connection. 4) when we checked in, the toilet bowl was also dirty, we had to flush it first before using. Given the price we paid for the room, it was just not worth it.

The staff overall was nice and very friendly. The property and room are dated, and look in need of some TLC. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired. We found a cockroach in our room, which we disposed off and let the staff know. They said they would spray and do a thorough cleaning; this was not obvious when we came back. Garden pool was dirty on the bottom and had quite a lot of stuff floating in it. Overall for the price I expect better quality and level of appearance. We have stayed at less expensive places that are cleaner and better overall. Also parking is very expensive ($40 a day) for a property that is not close to anything.

Lots of amenities on site. Very family friendly resort with lots of activities for kids. You can easily stay on the property without having to go anywhere else. Our room was dusty and had a weird odor. There were no towels at the pool in the evening and it closed at 10pm. Food at Vue was not good, very bland. The food food at Bar Traza was really good.

Most relaxing and fun getaway!

Everything about this resort is amazing! Although we weren't traveling with kids, it was so fun to see all the activities and attention given to families. It's also a dog-friendly environment! We had such fun soaking in the spa as the sun set over the golf course, listening to the dueling pianos. There was such a great feeling in the air. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet. Very comfortable. We can't wait to stay again soon!

The property is stunning. The views, atmosphere, and cleanliness are 10/10. You can walk around at night and feel safe. I would say service is 2/10. I was trying to ask an employee where I could find pool towels stating I brought mine from my room but wanted the ones she’s was grabbing to clean, she rudely said “idk what you’re asking”. (She was white). I tried to ask another server where I could order food from the pool, she said I could ask my server. I asked who my server was, she said it was close to 5:30pm and should order at the bar area (rather than taking my order or finding out who was my server— she was also white). Every other employee who was Mexican greeted me so
Politely. Will also add the Asian girl at the ice cream shop did a better job by letting me know where I could find a local cute beach. I will add this place had the best burger we’ve had in a while. So 10/10 on the burger. Would come back but for the service and awful interactions. Maybe they would’ve treated me better if I said I was a lawyer? Who knows. Will definitely have to think twice about it.

Such a beautiful resort. The grounds were just stunning. Got upgraded to a villa and the room was so awesome. Came with a full kitchen, big patio area and even washer and dryer in unit. The pools were so much fun, but enjoyed the villa pools the most. Staff was always so friendly and helpful. We never wanted to leave! Will definitely be back!

I want to love this place. My room was very dusty behind the tv, on the desk on top of the headboard and the couch in the living room smelled like it needed a good cleaning. I notified management and they were very responsive but just disappointing this isn't the expected standard. The service in lobby bar slow, lots of people milling around but waited for 20 minutes until someone even acknowledged our party.

Property is extremely large, have to take golf carts around via valet, but the staff was super responsive. It was a last minute decision for an over night stay. Everyone seemed to be having so much fun! There is an adult pool, kids pool with a huge slide and a splash pad for the little ones. I enjoyed our stay so much that I booked a suite for my kids and their children next month.

Our stay at Omni La Costa was truly memorable. The property itself is stunning lush gardens, vibrant flowers, incredible views, and an abundance of amenities for both kids and adults. Whether you’re looking to relax or stay active, there’s something for everyone. The food was also fantastic, and service throughout the resort was warm and welcoming.

That said, the room itself was a bit of a letdown. Upon entering, we noticed a strong, musty odor, almost like mildew or that it hadn’t been aired out in a while. It gave the impression that the room had been closed up for some time. The balcony chairs were ripped, with exposed cushions that looked weathered and worn, which took away from the otherwise relaxing outdoor space. The beds were comfortable, and it was convenient being so close to the pool, but the room could definitely use some updates and better upkeep.

Overall, we had an amazing time at the resort, and I would recommend it but I do hope they address some of the room maintenance issues to match the high quality of the rest of the property.

Great service from the moment we drove on property to the moment we left. I stayed here w my wife and two small kids. We enjoyed the pool, restaurants, market place and grounds of the resort greatly.
I played 18 on the south course and really enjoyed my time. Course was in great shape, pace was perfect and the golf staff was super friendly.
Highly recommend this property.
