Our room was lovely, sort of a junior suite. We especially liked the large balcony. Clean. Attentive staff. Our room faced the street where there are bars and restaurants and there was some street noise from a party that woke us at 3 a.m. with a hearty rendition of Happy Birthday. There are two towers. We'd gladly stay again, but this time we'd ask for a room facing the back or in the other tower on the side street.

Very nice rooms clean organized. Loved the balcony and small kitchen just for a few snacks. Tons restaurants and bars and coffe places plus mall within 5 min. Great location. Only 10 min walk to beach. Star so nice with had a little more English but still helpful. If breakfast allowed to order eggs it would be perfect but still nice buffet breakfast w lots grout pastries etc. Great hotel and location

Comfortable bed, balcony, pleasant but at times, busy neighborhood which does not detract from the property, shopping within walking distance, convenient pick-up/drop-off area for Uber trips, indoor pool, adequate continental buffet breakfast. Teodoro restaurant across the street has very good food, from the appetizers, the main dish and the desserts. A well-prepared staff that knows what it is doing. We dined there five times in a seven day stay.

The window is not closing so they told I’ll have to wait until MONDAY when the person who knows how to fix it comes to work, today is SATURDAY.😮🙄😩.

Now is 1:37 AM. There is a bar next door, and is to loudly MUSIC and people voices are inside the room. Disappointed. ☹️

Ok hotel but thought it was expensive for what you got with some parts of the hotel giving hostel vibes such as the bar. Good climatized pool, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Location is a bit of a walk away from the main beaches and areas.

Great place to stay during a pandemic!

Great location, close to bars, supermarkets, stores and restaurants. It was a bit noisy at night, but the staff was very accommodating and switched us to a room facing the back, which was perfect.The parking is roomy, covered and onsite, that's such a plus in this area. The pool was amazing, heated and partially covered. Ideal for those days/times when it's not warm enough to go to the beach. They have a huge dehumidifier running constantly that made the air dry, what a difference that made! In the rooms, there's a sink, a microwave, a fridge and basic dinnerware which will come handy during a pandemic when you don't want to go to restaurants so often. We also felt that they were very responsible with all the safety measures and social distancing.

Garagem ruim e com vaga limitada se chegar tarde terá que deixar na rua.
Não economize U$ 35,00(meu caso) e prefira ficar no Enjoy(quarto Club) que valerá muito mais a pena.

First room was well located at the back of the hotel. The heating did not work and the counters in kitchen were not clean (ring marks that easily wiped up with a wet cloth). Staff was really uncaring and agreed to move into a room with heating. This room was right on the street which had traffic and motorcycles passing all night. Fortunately, I had earplugs and was able to get some sleep. The television in this room did not function and the kitchen counter was likewise stained but easily cleaned (by me).

Hotel in Punta Del Este

Check in on March 10th for 4 nights in room 205. The hotel is great. Room was nice, staff is fantastic. It is close to great restaurants, shopping, convenience store.

Unfortunately, my room was just over the restaurant. It is noisy until early morning.
The hotel is located on a pretty busy street. a lot of motorcycle and car pass by and it is very loud.

If it was only for the hotel, I would give a 5 stars and would recommend it to everyone.
but with the location, Unless you have a garden room, I wouldn't.

Good Value

The location of this hotel is wonderful, however if you retire early, bring earplugs. The hotel is on a busy road and some rooms are right above the bar and restaurant that close at 2am. We enjoyed our room and the earplugs solved the noise issue. “Breakfast” is typical of South American countries and includes a nice array of pastries. The coffee was terrible, which was surprising. The pool was cloudy and green. Half of the tiny pool was supposed to be “outside”, but in reality it was covered with a tent making it stinky. Other than those issues, we were very pleased with the room.
Don’t expect any upgrades if you are an Expedia gold member, but it is nice that the parking, Continental breakfast and Internet (slow) is included to all guests staying at the hotel.

As an Expedia Gold member I am usually offered a complimentary upgrade and amenities such as bottled water, wine, etc. At this hotel we were offered a very noicy room above the bar that closed at 2am or a room without a balcony (which we paid for). We chose the room above the noicy bar. I was okay with this as I have ear plugs. No mention of Expedia gold complimentary amenities. The receptionist never bothered to follow up with us the 5 nights we stayed.
The pool was NOT as pictured. We thought there was an outdoor pool. There’s a tent over it and it had a foul smell. I would have loved to have gone for a swim, but honestly it was green and stinky.
We were disappointed. Thankfully the room was nice and the bed comfortable and I brought my ear plugs.

Impossible to sleep before 2am due to a bar in the same building. Staff response “we underrstand but there is nothing we can do” - built with Zero acustic isolation. If you are going to Punta to party an do not intend to sleep before 2am it’s an option. Otherwise stay away. Breakfast unispiring (burned eggs and the worst coffee in Town).

Nice boutique hotel very well located near Punta Shopping. It is for guests who like a trendy lifestyle as the hotel is a bit overpriced (anyway, everything is expensive in Punta during the summer). I recommend stay for couples without kids, and suggest Bagatelle restaurant at La Barra.

Not so great for the ladies in the cafeteria for breakfast.
They seemed annoyed when you asked for something. Because they were to busy eating. ...
Everything else was excellent! !

Visiting Punta del Este on business and pleasure the Hotel was a perfect base from which to explore the city and conveniently located close to the recently opened convention and exhibition centre. The building is well designed and the staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I would definitively return to this practical and comfortable hotel.

I picked this hotel for its location, and was very pleased. The hotel, and our room were fresh and new the design contemporary service good.

Rooms are great, roomy, with kitchenette and large balconies. I was at the far end, however, and wi-fi was spotty--tho they tried to adjust it. The hotel has a very nice indoor/outdoor pool that's nicely heated and is especially nice at night. A convenient garage provides free parking, and the staff was helpful, friendly & spoke English. Breakfast was good (tho no eggs--it didn't matter); coffee excellent. The only real downside was location was far from the beach or the town, which meant either driving or taxis. Other than that, a real gem.

Sharp hotel, removed from the beach

This is a handsome, contemporary hotel that has a lot to offer: a pleasant lobby, spacious rooms with airy balconies, a clean, warm pool and sauna, a terrific breakfast buffet, and rental bikes. It's important to realize, though, that it's not exactly near the beach or the center of the action; instead, it's on a relatively quiet street about a 10-minute walk from the water. if you're willing to forego convenience, though, it's a very attractive option.

I found this place looking for a winter getaway and ended up staying 3 nights instead of just one. Punta in the winter is a nice respite if you're looking to get away from the crowds, and this hotel offers lovely rooms with a kitchenette, spacious deck off each room, and first rate gym and public area.

Our stay was excellent. We had a unique experience but it shows the helpfulness of the staff. On our last day, my wife got a Q-tip stuck in her ear and when we couldn't get it out with our tweezers the staff went out of their way to help us. In the end they called an ambulance for us, and explained that the hotel's insurance covered any costs.

Great hotel, expensive with a noise problem

This hotel is in the Design District part of town. The beach is about 10 minutes walk. Very calm beach. not crowded in March with nice gentle waves and beautiful natural sand dunes.
Hotel is clean and new, pool is small, sauna clean and hot, rooms are well designed and functional but not very big for 3 people, perfect for 2. The beds are not comfortable enough they are too hard and linen in rough (should be silky and soft). We got the best room which turned out to be a nightmare because a pipe from the kitchen was making high noise from 8pm until restaurant closes plus it sent food smell in our room. Santiago the manager was very helpful and changed our room right away and gave us equivalent...only to find out that the neighbour's pool filter is old a very noisy but it only runs from 8:45 pm for about an hour. In general the neigbourhood is plagued with dogs who run freely around and bark a lot at night. With closed doors its not too bad but still you can hear them.

Overall we loved the hotel but we found it slightly too expensive in regards to all the little items that bugged us. We enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

Trendy at the Sacrifice of Comfort

Newer \"boutique\" hotel that is trendy at the sacrifice of comfort and is lacking in service and amenities. Better options available.

Decent location but not great. 10+ minute walk to the beach. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, but most are 20+ minute walk away. Shopping is close, including two supermarkets.

Newer facility; reasonably well maintained. Our room was above the hotel's restaurant and a pizza restaurant on a fairly busy street (lots of loud motorcycles) so we had to close the doors to the balcony at night. Room featured a small kitchenette (small fridge, microwave and sink), sitting area with couch, partially separated bedroom, and a balcony. However, the TV was in the bedroom when it would have been nice to be able to watch from the sitting area and the kitchen was quite small and not well stocked. For instance there was no corkscrew in the room and the front desk was unable to provide one. We ended up buying one at the market (along with a knife, paper towels, and some other basic items). Also, there is way too much focus on artistic design at the sacrifice of utility and comfort. The sinks were visually appealing but were so small and poorly designed that they were a pain to use. Same with the shower - it was impossible to shower without water splashing all over the bathroom and out into the bedroom. Pool is really a glorified hot tub.

Housekeeping staff was extremely friendly but the front desk staff seemed indifferent at best.

Upscale Hotel nearly delivers 100%

This extremely modern hotel delivers on so many levels. It was modern, clean and hip. The breakfast buffet was typical for Uruguay - heavy on pastries & bread but very filling. Espresso coffees can be purchased at an additional charge. We liked everything about this hotel except that it was a little difficult to find being a little away from the other high hotels in Punta Del Estes. But I would stay there again. Be warned, in Uruguay staff have very limited English.

Fantastic customer service!

There was a death in the family and I could not use the room. The Hotel did everything they could to help me and I was able to use the room on another day. The front desk and management were absolutely fantastic. As for Expedia the same cannot be said! I called Expedia and spoke to someone, somewhere, but the service was terrible!!! The first language of the person I spoke to was not English, and she repeated the same phrases over and over to me. She insisted she needed to call the Hotel (where I was standing in the lobby) even though I explained that she needed to speak Spanish, which of course she did not. So she rang and could not communicate with the front desk. Imagine!!! My conclusion is that Expedia has outsouced their customer service like so many others to some cheap offshore location but has no process to ensure that those attending us, the customers, can actually speak English.

The only fault of 2122 is that it's on a busy road apparently popular with drivers who like to rev their engines late at night. So, ask for a room on the back which should help. Otherwise, a nice place with a good breakfast buffet.

2122 Art Design is a very pleasant place to stay, but not exactly a quiet location. It's on a busy road popular with loud dune buggy type vehicles and scooters. That's OK during the day, but not conducive to sleep. Also, there's a hotel/club across the street that plays music quite late. So, ask for a room on the back side of the building. Otherwise, nice staff and a decent breakfast. (PS-the gym is just a couple of treadmills and very few dumbells.)

Wonderful Staff And Cool Hotel

Our first trip to Uruguay was during peak season in Punta del Este. The Spanish we learned living in California was so different that we often felt lost in translation and the staff of this hotel was so nice and helpful amidst it being so busy. We even had an accident and they interpreted with the rental car company - they really went out of their way to help. The rooms are very modern and we had a suite which had a nice balcony and kitchenette with an eat in bar. It was like a junior one bedroom apartment. I was traveling with my boyfriend and cousin. My cousin slept comfortably on the sofa in the living area which converted to a bed. This is a great, chic hotel.

i stayed there last week for 6 days .got a 110 us per night rate. was not bad FOR URUGUAYAN STANDARDS but certainly not a 650 us a day values ( high season).
first of all, nice atmosphere, nice girls and guys in the reception, very relaxed and kind.
i had room 309, last floor with a nice view to pedragosa sierra street and the green forest. nice.
very expensive extras .a can of coke out of the mini bar is 4 us !!!! 4 !!!!!!!!!!! , and the rest even worse :)
they have a coffee shop ,which was even closed saturdays at 5 pm. pretty dead the whole place
new hotel, opened in january. nice white wood laminate floors, designer beds, sofa and 32 inch tv , not digital but at least direct tv.
little kitchen with microwave and water heater inside.
had to ask for shampoo and soap every second day. they are sooooooooooo stingy. really made a bad impression.
i asked for an iron to iron 2 shirts , they told me to iron in their laundry because they were afraid i might burn their precious sheets. so they really think you are a clown. you are stupid enough to pay so you are stupid enough to burn the room ???

Lovely new hotel

This is a lovely new hotel that is aiming for \"trendy\" with natural materials and some cutting edge style. The rooms include small kitchettes with microwaves, small refrigerators, sinks and a bar with stools. Also safes. We upgraded to the optional porch which was quite large. Non-inspired breakfast was included.
The hotel is within walking distance of the beaches.

Hotel muito bonito e confortável. A equipe da recepção é extremamente simpática e atenciosa. O quarto é confortável e conta com uma cozinha americana bem equipada, com micro-ondas, frigobar, pratos, talheres e copos.
O hotel possui piscina coberta e aquecida. Possui também sauna. O café da manhã é muito bom, com bastante variedade.
Possui estacionamento coberto.

Quarto 210 - tem vazamento do banheiro para a área do quarto. Falaram que tinham resolvido, mas não resolveram. Houve necessidade de mudança de quarto. Há vazamento da área do boxe para o banheiro. Os ralos têm um cheiro forte. O ar condicionado não funciona muito bem (pode ser um problema em épocas quentes). As fotos do banheiro não são do quarto, são fotos do banheiro da área da piscina

Quarto muito bom, equipe toda do Hotel super atenciosos e prestativos, localização muito boa, perto de tudo e um detalhe super importante, fiz check-out as 6 hs da manhã e me serviram o café completo neste horario. Isto não tem preço. Parabéns.

O hotel tem tudo para ser maravilhoso. Quartos grandes e bem localizados, mas a limpeza é um horror. Chegamos no quarto que estava nada limpo, tinha restos de peixe no frigobar do hóspede anterior.
O chão eles não passam um pano. Café da manhã era sujeira no chá por tudo. Manutenção urgente. O vaso sanitário do banheiro não parava de escorrer água. Uma pena
