Then what’s the point of staying in a hotel room after paying so much money when none of the staff members can give us this service in room. The bathroom had only one shower gel and shampoo which is a small bottle but we are two adults they should have kept one more set we can’t keep asking them everything they should know what are the basic needs of the guest. No body lotion in the bathroom every hotel that I have been they kept a body lotion which is a basic essential.
Overall it was not a pleasant experience I will not choose to stay here again

Where to start. I did not eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. While I had few interactions with the staff those I did have where wonderful. I love the room I had. Large comfortable bed, TV, WiFI, a desk and chair, a small seat under the window, and an interesting view out the small window. The bathroom was lovely. Clearly refurbished at some point with more modern appointments but still seemed to fit with the feel of the room. The water was hot, with a good flow, and loo was well lit. I love that they kept many of the old aspects of the building, beautifully encorporating them into various spaces with the modernisation work. I think my favorite thing, tho a bit silly, was the metal plate over the loo roll. So cute! I want one in my house. The mix of old and new really works toward a welcoming, peaceful feel to the place. I will definitely return for another stay!

It was my second stay in this hotel and I certainly will stay again. Quiet and comfortable rooms, friendly stuff and great location. Just one warning: some rooms have no elevator access and you will need to climb narrow spiral staircase with all your suitcases.

You must stay here if you want a fabulous location! It is a quaint hotel with a spiral stairway we had to use at one point in the journey to get to our room. It is full of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The lobby is fun and full of Scottish wool plaid and tweed upholstery. The 24 hour deck is polite and always willing to help. They will pour you a drink in the lobby so you can relax before you go out. Quite cozy! I would stay here again.

The hotel is an older stately building which has been adapted to have rooms. While the rooms are furnished in a more traditional manner, they are small by contemporary standards and there was no easy means to cool them down other than opening the windows. The rooms were clean and comfortable but street noise could be an issue when the windows were open. The hotel is well located near many restaurants, cafes and shops, and a 5-10 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverly station.

Sadly this definitely is not a luxury hotel. It’s very ‘tired’ and shabby, we barely had enough shower gel for one of us, tiny bottles! Milk sachets? ..Not in any luxury hotel I’ve stayed in, and not enough provided for a second coffee, We were also left two biscuits..but only for our first night!.. we stayed three nights. Shabby small towels, and the bathroom blind was broken too.

We love the Parliment House for our third trip to Edinburgh. We were able to easily walk to Prince’s Street and High Street. The tram along Prince’s street was helpful for our trek out to Murrayfield.

A great classic hotel. It was a pleasure staying at the Parliment. It is a very old school hotel that has been renovated, but retained that old world charm. The staff was charming. The bed was big and comfortable and the room space adequate. The shower was very nice. It was warm though, and there wasn't any real way to cool down (even with the window open). Right next to Calton Hill and an easy walk to the Royal Mile.

We had a wonderful stay at the Parliament House Hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in an excellent location. It is within a 10 minute walk of the Waverly train station. The room was clean and inviting. We had a room on the 5th Floor and had an excellent view of the city. I highly recommend this hotel.
