Great location in the ‘new town’ close enough to walk to all main attractions. The room was clean and modern, however we booked the family studio which included a sofa bed that was really only a single and needed to accommodate a 13 and 16 year old. This was way too small which caused a few issues.

Hotel is on 5th floor of a fairly new shopping mall with endless shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and new and had a kitchen. The location couldn’t have been better. It was pretty much across from Waverley train station. Highly recommend this hotel.

Room is great. But the floor is not very sound proof. I can hear foot steps, chairs moving from person above me all night till 1.30am. I requested high floor to avoid this problem. But still end up with this major issue that causes lack of sleep

Great location. You wouldn't even know it's in the top floor of a mall. Hotel has a private entrance to the street once you check in which was very convenient. Room was clean with lots of space and staff was friendly. We loved the coffee/hot cocoa machine-24 hours. It was fun being attached to the beautiful mall. It was walking distance to anywhere we needed to go. My only issues were, I booked a balcony room thinking it would have a great view, but it was looking into the mall and we couldn't even see anything in the mall. Also, I forgot my medication, and they were not very helpful in wanting to ship it to me, even though I was going to pay for it before they shipped it. Needless to say, they didn't ship it. I would recommend this hotel, just don't leave anything behind.

Clean, quiet room even though it’s on the 5th floor of a mall. Location was great, about a 10-15 minute walk to Old Town, and very easy to reach by city tram. We appreciated the complimentary filtered water and coffee station, as well as the separate entrance from street level. One note for U.S. travelers: king-size beds in Scotland are smaller than what you may be used to.

This property was not bad. It is located inside the huge mall in the new town of Edinburgh. It's a pretty good trek from the parking lot of the elevators through the mall to get to your room so if anybody having issues walking it could be an issue for. The room was a little bit small for four. Two adults two children. The main bed was small for two average adults and the pull out couch was not very comfy. However it is in a central location in Edinburgh and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping around and some cool bars as well.

The view of the monument was fantastic. Room, bathroom and facilities was fantastic but we were bitterly let down on by the constant annoying heavy music beat from the open air court bar on the ground floor. We were on floor 1 or 2 above and could not espace it. Had 4 sleepless nights and day time was marred also by the incessant best. Just need to cut the noise with quadruple glazed glass….

The location of this hotel is very centrally located and it was fun being inside the mall and next door to a movie theater. The rooms are modern; however, the air conditioning did not work very well and our room always felt hot. The bar outside of the hotel was noisy at night and we had to keep our windows open because our room was so warm. Our biggest issue with the hotel was the “king size bed”. The bed was clearly a double size bed. When I questioned the hotel staff telling them I reserved a king bed they said it’s a “UK king” and that is the only size available. Every other hotel my family and I have stayed in in this country has been substantially larger and an actual king bed. The coffee and croissants in the morning are tasty and it was great having laundry in the hotel.

Excellent experience at this hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms. Great location near Royal Mile and a tram stop. Lots of walkable dining locations. We had just gotten off a trans-Atlantic flight and my daughter was not feeling well. They went out of their way to get our room ready early so she could rest. I highly recommend this hotel and am sure you will have a great experience if you choose to stay there.

Nice apartment with a lovely view. Fab staff. The cleanliness really let it down. From dirty floors, to water stained doors. Initial iron didn’t work and had to be replaced. Had to ask for hand wash in bathroom to be refilled. Many plug/USB sockets didn’t work. There were long grey hairs strewn around that did not belong to us!

This hotel is amazing! Location is unbeatable. It's walkable to the major train station and most major sites while not being too loud in the room. We were given a room with an amazing view of Arthur's Seat, the Edinburgh Castle, and others sites. We felt super safe in the area and the connected mall was a great bonus. Front desk staff were all very friendly.

As one side of the bed abutted a wall, the particular room would have been problematic for physically challenged couples. Despite that quirk, I would readily return to the property.

This hotel has a very good location within walking distance to all the major attractions. It has air conditioning (although we could never get the air to go below 22 degrees celcius). The room is spacious, clean, and it includes a small kitchenette, which was also great. The hotel also offered free coffee 24 hours a day-which was a major plus-especially in the mornings. They also provided fresh crescents every morning as a grab and go breakfast. We also appreciated having free access to a washer and dryer (not big, but very helpful during our long stay).
