All of the staff we interacted with were welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and a high standard of cleanliness.

We enjoyed the spa facilities with a relaxing swim in the pool and in the steam room and sauna before breakfast. There was an excellent choice of items for breakfast.

Location is amazing, the staff is welcoming. Considering how loud it was in the streets the hotel does an amazing time at keeping rooms quiet. I was disappointed to have my room not properly cleaned during my 8 day staying. Staff only changed towels and removed garbage but never changed bedding or cleaned toilet or carpet. Also anyone can walk into the rooms so I had a random couple knocking and trying to open my room door. Other than that it was a good stay.

Check in staff were lovely! The room was great, spa facilities were great - we’d stay again.
The fire alarm went off for a short period in the middle of the night; when we asked about this on check out little explanation and no apology was given, just that it was ‘out of their control.’ Very disruptive given there was no fire/cause to evacuate.

The problem with this hotel is that it needs a complete refurb. The heating system doesn’t work properly. I moved rooms in the hope it would be better but had to resort to using a portable electric heater which reception provided me with. The fact they have them easily to hand proves this is an ongoing problem.
The shower water pressure is poor.
The corridors are dark and the carpets worn.
All the walls and furniture are scuffed and badly need replacing.
The staff were trying so hard to remedy the problems I encountered but it was beyond them as the hotel is so flawed.
The bed was oddly soft and seemed to dip.
The curtains were stained.
The location was excellent but in spite of this I will never stay at this or any other Radisson hotel ever again.
I’ve been in much cheaper hotels which were better appointed and more comfortable.

Lovely staff on check in, ended up getting into the room early as it happened to be ready.
Breakfast had an excellent selection, and fantastic quality.
Late check out was great for us, we got to enjoy the hotel
Spa facilities were nice, steam room was incredibly hot which i like but would understand if others didn't. It could have done with a bit of a deep clean though.
Perfect location in the old part of Edinburgh, a 5 minute walk to the castle.
Next time we come north i think we will end up staying again

Overall the room was nice and the amenities were great. However at this price point when it's advertised as a king bed that's what i expect and not 2 beds pushed together. Disappointing

Also the lighting in the living room area wasn't very bright - edinburgh in winter gets dark early. A central light in the room and one over the hot drink facilities would have been great

Our room was cold and noisy heated. We ended up changing the room and upgrading it solved the problem. Showers was unsafe and inconvenient in both room. I fell in the shower trying to adjust the shower. Morning staff was more helpful that PM staff.

Stayed many times here, a wonderful hotel with an excellent location. Check in staff very good, breakfast staff excellent. The only problem was the hotel public areas and our bedroom were not heated very well. I did raise this on our first day and advised would be resolved from a remote site. We have stayed during really cold spells and has not been a problem, so what went wrong?

We arrived late in the evening and the hotel staff was so kind. They quickly checked us in, had a suggested place for dinner and even called to make us a reservation. They brought bags up to our room while I parked the car. This was truly exceptional service!

The heating didnt work in the room and was never fixed after multiple requests. The phone didnt work either, causing me to go downstairs to ask about the heating issue. The phone issue was known and \"will be fixed in the future\". The shower took over 10 minutes to heat up. I don't know why they would rent a room out in that state?

Room was nice and tidy. We have stayed here multiple times in the last 10 years. I was a bit disappointed to see some obvious signs of wear and tear in the room furniture/ table area. Also, WIFI was really disappointing. Not what you would expect for such a large hotel. Had issues using the Chromecast/ pairing with an iPhone at night-time. Hotel starting to look a little bit dated as the years go on. Our room was not serviced one of the days, so we got it serviced after 7pm when we went out for dinner. However, overall a comfortable stay and great, central location!

Very friendly helpful staff. Was on a tour group first night and next 4 nights a personal booking. On arrival they arranged so we could stay in the same room for the visible. Central location 10-20 min to Grassmarket district, train, Hollyrood Palace, Edinburgh castle, and the national museum and Nelson monument park.

Nice reasonable bar and lounge, average breakfast buffet, and cheerful concierge arraged airport taxi. Workout room and pool.

Meticulous daily housekeeping service, spacious room, and our 3rd floor room was quiet with double windows even overlooking the busy Royal mile.

We were so looking forward to this hotel stay because it was right in the heart of everything, was castle shaped and it cost almost a weeks salary for one night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and even helped us park our van in a private lot as it wouldn't fit in the underground parkade.
The room was nice, and quite roomy. I maybe expected something more \"castle\" like or maybe a little bit more upscaled for the price we had paid. I had upgraded our suite to include a king bed, and was taken aback when it came with 2 twins. They informed us that this is standard and that they would combine them together for us. I had mentioned that the beds were quite slanted (tilted backwards when sat on), I was assured that the combining and the mattress topper would solve that. It did not, haha. Made for an \"interesting\" sleep and getting out of in the morning.
Overall, its a nice hotel with some great staff in an incredible location, but the price tag did not match for what was provided.

Loved our stay!

The Radisson exceeded my expectations. It’s situated in a great location on the Mile and I loved our room. The steam room and sauna were fantastic and the pool/locker room were clean. The staff were super helpful. The only negative from my stay was the relatively high cost to park in the garage, but it was worth it to stay here.
