Liked the spacious room, in hotel laundry, kitchenette, and location. Quiet part of Royal Mile — close to Holyrood palace I didn’t think the bed quality or comfort was sufficient for the price of the hotel.

Everything was broken the AC, hairdryer, microwave and towel warmer. I tried to wash laundry and the washer left the clothes soaking wet and stopped cycle early only to try and charge again for a spin. No one could help us despite a couple of tries.For the price I was very disappointed. This was my families first trip to Scotland. The location was good.

The very early check-in (thank you, Rasa) more than made up for a few small inconveniences. Ideal location on the Royal Mile and delivered everything you would expect from an Aparthotel.

Wifi on the 3 third floor was dodgy a lot of the time. The TV remote batteries were dead, and the heated towel rack never worked. As said previously, all minor inconveniences during the stay.

This hotel is the perfect spot to stay to be close to all the main attractions without an overwhelming, busy, and noisy atmosphere. It’s walkable to so many attractions, restaurants, shops, and more.
The only note I will say we were disappointed with was that we could only get coffee pods for 1 morning of our stay despite being there for multiple days.

The room was in a tired condition. The bed didn’t stay in an upright position and the lock strap on the window was torn out, reception were informed, it neither were fixed in the 5 days we were there.

The towel warmer didn’t work, the clothes dryer was too rusty to use, the bathroom light flickered on/off.

Overall the rooms felt tired and the maintenance and presentation of the room was lacking.

The small kitchen was a bonus, but a lack of utensils and no standard items like salt and pepper made it almost impossible to make anything.

Location is great. It is walking distance to everything you would want to see.
We were not informed which day we would have a room cleaning, or even if we would. Some communication would have been appreciated as they removed items that they assumed were garbage but we had wanted to keep.

Scotland meals are expensive everywhere, but with us staying for 8 days, we felt the cost for breakfast was a wee bit high for the breakfast they served. Perhaps include it in the cost of the room instead..preferably at a lower rate.

Overall though, the facilities were clean, lovely old stone building and close to the Royal Mile which is what we wanted.

It was a good place to stay for a weekend. It is as advertised and worked well for a couple of days. My concern is security the front desk staff is young. I forgot my room number they told me I asked for another key they gave it to me.. all with out any form of ID. Finally I left my key in the room with my adult son and they scanned me up the elevator with out any ID. These were all different times of the day. Yes I was a bit scattered but it really bothered me that no one asked me for ID and it wasn’t the same person who I spoke to each time. Would I stay again probably not because I felt unsafe with the kids manning the desk.

Hotel was in the perfect location to explore Edinburgh. Had one small glitch in that our tv wasn’t working but staff did what they could to try and fix it to no avail. Did offer us a complimentary breakfast so did something for the minor inconvenience.

Great location for walking everywhere. Lots of dining choices close by. Train and bus stations are easy to reach for travel out of Edinburgh and to the airport. Rooms are well maintained and staff is very helpful. Princes Street and other shopping are also any easy walk away. Laundry was easy to use. Only recommendation is bring a UK power adapter, my fault for not checking before that European adapters don’t work.

The whole facility was very clean and well kept. The kitchenette was useful and a great size. The bathroom was clean, the shower hot and the towels large. The bed was comfortable for a hotel bed. The curtains were black out and did their job well. It was nice to be able to open the window in our room for fresh air. There was always someone at the front desk even when we checked out to catch our flight at 2am. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Adagio for a couple of night on a long weekend break in Edinburgh. It is perfectly located to visit the city as it's right on the Royal Mile. Thee staff are lovely and the bed was so comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We checked in and then went to our room and there was water dripping from the floor above. The closet shelves were covered in water. I went to complain and they did assign us a new room. It smelled musty. The next day I saw evidence of water damage down the hall from our room…wet carpeting in the hallway outside the room.

The staff very rarely greeted us, I booked the room based on location and cleanliness. Location was good, but there are a lot of choices in the area. To my surprise the walls and baseboards had grimy dirt all over them. We used the hotel as hub, so we were not there every night otherwise I would have asked them to clean it.

We liked the communal area with games to relax after a day of walking. Breakfast was good but we found plenty of options nearby too. Liked the location, close to the Royal mile and castle. Kids were comfortable on the sofa bed and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Hotel is on the Royal Mile and close to shopping, restaurants, and many historical sites. Rooms were clean and offered everything we needed. Fold-away bed makes sense to transform the room during the day but it wasn't comfortable. Staff was helpful and professional. Abi went above and beyond when we contacted the site about a lost item.

It’s a great location and the kitchen is fully equipped. The room is spacious. Value for money in view of the hotel price in the area.

A few small issues: pillows are quite high for me and the staff said there’s no other option; the hot water in the shower was not very hot; the pots, pan, and tea tower were not cleaned properly.

The Adagio is in a great location on the Royal Mile! There are shops galore, many excellent restaurants, and it's within easy walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, the Holyrood Palace, the Museum of Scotland, Museum of Edinburgh as well Greykirk cemetery.It is also a short walk to Waverly train station and the AirLink 100 bus stop to the airport.

As for our room, a twin beds, the beds were firm and the pillows were comfy. The kitchenette include a good sized refrigerator, a two burner stove, a small dishwasher and a set of dishes, cutlery and an electric kettle.
There was extra closet space too which was very convenient to have. The bathroom was clean, nice showerhead with good water pressure, and a large sink.

The onsite laundry in the lower floor was a bargain although it's in a small space. You can be notified by email when your wash cycle and/ or dryer cycle is completed. A very convenient feature!
All in all, we enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Adagio and will definitely stay there again.

The location was perfect. You are close to everything but also sort of tucked away at the same time. The room has everything you need. I will note that my bed was slightly more in the uncomfortable side. There was a hump in the middle of it and cause some slight pressure on my back with how I lay. Otherwise I would return here and recommend!

We arrived late after travelling after work. The reception team were welcoming and it was an east checkin.

There was even frozen meals available at the small shop they had, which solved our issue as we'd missed supper.

The room was actually really quiet, which was brilliant as we were up early.

From start to finish, this was the perfect place to stay if you want to be on/near the royal mile. The room was superb. Perfect accommodation for our needs. It was clean, spacious enough for the three of us. The staff was friendly. Safe entry. Although we did not buy into the breakfast option, it smelled delicious and the dining area looked fabulous. The shops near by were abundant. It was fairly quiet. Our room was facing a thruway/ally/close and the trash men pick up trash at 10:30 pm. We would come back again for sure!

We had a fantastic stay at the Adagio. We were a family of four staying ina one bed apartment. The apartment was ready earlier than stated (we arrived for about 1pm) and so managed to check in early. The apartment itself had loads of space, plenty of room for four of us, and was clean. Breakfast was great, loads to choose from (hot and cold) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location just a short walk from the train station and a lovely stroll (uphill) to reach the castle along the Edinburgh Mile. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Would highly recommend!

Breakfast was ok, great the kids were included with every adult but 20 quid would be quite steep based on what was available. In all though, it's a great location and a nice place to stay.
