Room wasn’t ready for 3:30pm. Cleaners were leaving the room dragging dirt with their feet. Room was setup for 1, when booked for 2. Hotel didn’t have any extra towels and couldn’t be bothered to help. The pool was cold. The shower head had rust. The sink didn’t drain. 2 out of 4 nights, room wasn’t cleaned. The room has no furniture unlike advertised. No place to open your luggage. The doorbell buttons don’t work to turn on DND or request housekeeping. The gym stinks and AC leaks. Breakfast was decent

I loved the location f this hotel, but they were renovating the pool and you could not use it. Throughout the day there as jack hammering going on till the lat3 afternoon. The breakfast was very poor and often later in the mornin*b there was little to,choose from. Wifi was poor which meant I often had to move move to the lobby to get reception

Everything was good at this hotel. One thing that was not satisfactory was the breakfast buffet. The selection of foods was good, however, the staff did not do a good job of keeping the food stocked and much of it was not available.

The men at the front desk said they didn’t get a confirmation from Expedia even though I showed them my confirmation number. I was forced to wait an extra hour. Eventually they suggested I pay them directly for the room and they would cancel the Expedia reservation. They never canceled so I was double charged. I don’t trust this hotel.

My stay was ok but my sister got sick in the middle of the trip and I requested a late check-out. The receptionist said the hotel was full and couldn’t even give us another room, not even if we paid for one.
When we checked online they did have availability and we needed up booking for an extremely high price only to stay a few more hours in the hotel. Not very happy with the lack of support that I received from the hotel.
The room wasn’t very clean as well.

I & Hotels.com contacted this hotel to change the booking to 2 person from one. No response. When we got there we were charged 300 reals/night for extra person! The Radisson charged me 100/extra person on the same week. The exchange rate at this hotel is criminal.its better across the street. Excursions are more expensive than nearby hotels. It’s Highway robbery ! Non existent online customer service. Not even a free water in the room!

This hotel has a perfect location in Copacabana. It is very close to the beach and sourrounded by lot of restaurants and shoping stores. Very safe place and very professional and friendly staff. We want to thank specially Carlos at front desk. He always was very helpful and kind with us. We are very satisfy with our time at this hotel. Breakfast was excellent with lot of choices of foods and drinks. Excellent rooms and conditions. We recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Royalty Rio is an excellent Rio lodging choice! Located only 2 blocks from Copacabana Beach and within walking distance of metro stations, eating establishments, and shopping venues, this hotel offers guests an optimum location. Every staff person I encountered was helpful, informative, and professional. When i neeeded assitance regarding booked excursions, more than one front desk empoyee went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. I wouldn't hesitate one minute in choosing Royalty Rio again for a stay in beautiful Rio de Janeiro!

Reasonable hotel, very reasonable prices, clean rooms staff is excellent, there were problems with the room but the staff got them fixed immediately… The pool area on the 15th floor is very nice so take advantage of it if the beach is crowded that day… One negative point, the dinner restaurant is not good at all but the breakfast is reasonably good

Hotel located in a quiet street. It is basic but has very nice rooms with comfortable beds, something I've found rare in Brazil. The room is clean, the staff are very helpful and the location is great close to everything. They have a nice breakfast and can arrange tours if needed.

I went from Houston arrived Rio late nite came to my hotel the room was ready and very clean in perfect condition I love WiFi work perfectly and bed are very comfortable and most important thing is bathroom was very clean shower work great . Hotel very nice location 7 mins walk from Copacabana beach and lots food restaurants and easy to take taxi or public bus. The hotel manager Mr. Charles vaz is very helpful and very polite guy he trained his stuff very professionals I’m very impressed. I wil tell my if they go to Rio stay at royalty Rio hotel for sure and last the breakfast was very good to... Syed Refaie

Great location 3 short blocks to Copacabana beach. Several nice restaurants down by beach. SAFE area for walking in the evenings. Only complaint was wifi needed constant re-entry of code every time you left room. Annoying. Often had to re-enter code again by pool in building.

When I arrived they were thourgh with my reservations and the rules that I must follow for my hotel.
The best thing is security. They have a security guard at night at the door. So even though you stayed there, you had to present your hotel key, I recommend that you take the hotel key jacket with you cause it has the name of hotel and room number written. And then you are able to go up to your room. They do not allow anyone after hours. It's great for anyone who wants to feel secure. The staff were great to set up a tour guide that links to the hotel. They reached out to them for me and I had my tour. Fantastic.
So I really recommend this place. Very clean. Beds you can sleep in great! I will come back to this place.

A very pleasant stay

We had a really pleasant stay. The hotel is well positioned (we felt safe at all times and we walked to the beach and back both during daytime and night time), the rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good as well. We liked the view from the top of the hotel and the fact that it has a pool. The pool is not deep, but it cools you down on a hot day and that was what we needed.

Location is good, close to the beach, restaurant, shopping, metro and bus stop. Did my own tour because of my experienced at the airport. My hotel pick-up didn't show up, they said no service after hours. They accepted the online booking and it's already paid for. I paid double on taxi fare, can't trust anyone even the money changer. Their exchange rate is way way low. Anyway my own way of seeing the city is best.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. Good bathroom.
It is clean, but not spotless.
Location is good. Walking distance to the beach (3 blocks). Lots of local shops and restaurants around.
Based on the value, I do recommend this hotel.

Royalty Rio Hotel Experience

This is a lovely chic hotel located in a safe touristic area (Copacabana). The staff are friendly and the hotel is located just three blocks away from the Copacabana Beach. The rooms are new, therefore they are very clean and beds are very comfortable. All rooms have A/C and very grateful for that too. I will definitely come back again.

Not bad, room was nice and big for Copacabana, some staff could use some friendly lessons as it seemed we put them out. Cost for drinks was extremely expensive, although rooftop pool (wading are patio was nice. Breakfast was good. Biggest issue was the nickel and diming, had to pay if you wanted wifi in room I believe it was about 30Real, also there was a 30Real tax not included.

Well located, clean and comfy place to stay in Rio

Well located near Atlantica Ave this brand new small hotel offers a comfy, nicely furnished room for a really good price. Breakfast is over average with a tasty assortment of food. Staff is really nice and caring and facilities are functional and comfy as well. Only complaint is about room cleanliness. Bathroom was OK but seems the demand does not allow clean the room thoroughly. There was dust and few remains of food under the bed. Internet service is another issue being available only at the lobby and with a very poor quality. Beyond that I would recommend this place for short term staying.

Nice hotel w/great staff in heart of Copacabana

We had a great experience at this hotel. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, and assisted us with everything from booking tours to getting taxis to finding nearby shops. We spoke minimal Portuguese, but some of the front desk staff were able to speak English, and all were willing to make the effort to communicate across language barriers. It was one of the best hotel service experiences we have ever had. The free breakfast that comes with the reservation is also very good, and the front desk can provide beach towels upon request. We did have occasional problems with the room (the power went out a couple times on the first day, and there was one time where the water would only run hot in our shower). Overall, though, we had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends planning a trip to Rio.

Pior hotel que já conheci na minha vida!!!!

Foi horrível. 0 limpeza/higiene. Banheiros sujos e entupidos, ar condicionado horrível, passei calor a noite, luzes queimadas, inclusive a luz principal do quarto queimou, pedimos para trocar e não trocaram. Ficamos sem luz até o último dia. Foi terrível, nunca mais nos estagiaremos.

O hotel é antigo, precisaria de uma modernização, reforma, a escrivaninha/mesa do quarto esta toda lascada, quarto antigo, banheiro também, com teto com mancha de vazamento, mas o colchão da cama é bom.
O pessoal que nos recebeu no dia que chegamos foi muito atencioso e prestativo.
Se reformassem e modernizarem, sera um ótimo hotel, com pessoal muito prestativo e atencioso.

Café da manhã ruim, horário pessimo das 7 as 10 se chegar as 9:30 já era tem nada, móveis tudo velho com marca de uso os MDF tudo inchado, chão do local cola da nojo e castura, elevador parece que vai quebrar qualquer momento, não tem secador de cabelo padrão qualquer hotel, cheguei de madrugada 4-5h foi pegar as chave Halll tudo escuro parece lugar fantasma, ar condicionado fede mofo, sinceramente local é caro para valor custo benefício 0-10 minha nota 4,3. Estive junto a minha esposa hospedado 2 dias para o Rock in Rio. Fomos bem atendidos, porém alguns problemas que foram reportados não foram atendidos, a pia do banheiro estava entupida desde que chegamos e mesmo após 2 pedidos, não foi resolvido. O quarto tampouco foi limpo quando solicitado.

Em outros pontos, o café da manhã é bom, a estrutura do hotel é boa, os funcionarios se mostraram sempre educados e a localização é ótima com metro e praia perto. Atende.

O quarto é bom, cama confortavel, banheiro ok. Café da manhã muito ruim, sem opções, copo de plastico, péssimo. E o único problema que tive mesmo foi na hora do checkout, chega na recepção eles não pedem para verificar o quarto, pergunta se consumiu algo e confia na sua palavra. Esqueci o bone do meu esposo no quarto e como não pedem para verificarem o quarto so lembramos do bone em casa. Se fosse verificado na hora do ckeckout isso não teria acontecido e teriamos pegado o bone, uma pena pois o hotel tem uma boa localização e o quarto é confortavel, mais tem coisas que deixam a desejar.

Já foi melhor. Terceira vez que me hospedo lá, mas dessa vez tive que pedir para trocar de quarto porque o ar condicionado fazia um barulho insuportável, difícil pra dormir. Muita coisinha quebrada também, a descarga no banheiro travando, a corrente de travar a porta quebrada em todos os dois quartos, o primeiro não tinha cofre e a tv estava torta e com suporte quebrado, sem secador de cabelo (no segundo tinha), e o cartão de entrar no quarto desconfigurou e tivemos que trocar 3 vezes porque a porta não abria. O café da manhã todo dia a mesma coisa, sem muita opção e muita coisa sem reposição.

O hotel Royalty apresenta uma estadia que deixa a desejar. O pior serviço é o café. Não há sequer copos de vidro, mas isso não seria grave se tivesse variedade de produtos servidos. O suco é artificial (quente porque você não terá gelo para uso), o ovo mexido é uma meleca líquida, não há variedade de frutas. O pão de queijo é farinhento. Sequer há rótulo nos produtos e chegue em qualquer horário o pouco que é servido estará faltando na mesa. O pão é seco e os bolos não são bons. Se você quiser fugir de glutén não poderá comer o ovo e também não será capaz de comer todo dia salsicha pq é isso que se repete diariamente. O banho é razoável embora as toalhas sejam encardidas. A cama é mediana. No nosso quarto o ar condicionado passou a pingar dentro do quarto. Se você for sair de madrugada o porteiro estará dormindo e o atendente da porta estár ouvindo funk. Parece que não há gerente nesse hotel. Não indico.

Cadê os donos do hotel?

Não tinha jantar. No elevador tem um cartaz indicando o andar da academia, mas ela não existe!! Pedimos uma toalha para a piscina e nos deram uma toda furada, velha e áspera. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos, mas parece que os donos do hotel largaram de mão.

Gostei mas o hotem me cobrou taxas

Fiquei só uma noite mas o hotel me cobrou taxas. Eu argumentei que as taxas já tinham sido pagas no aplicativo no momento da reserva mas eles disseram que as taxas deles não tinham nada a ver com as taxas cobradas no aplicativo. Será que isso vai acontecer sempre daqui em diante? Sempre paguei apenas as taxas cobradas no ato da reserva pelo aplicativo. Fora isso a suíte era confortável e os funcionários atenciosos. O café da manhã podia melhorar bastante na qualidade.

A desejar em limpeza e atendimento

Ao chegarmos no apartamento, percebemos um cheiro forte de morfo, nos demos conta que vinha do ar Condiconado, fomos olhar e o ar condicionado estava muito sujo, parecia não ter passado por manutenções a mais de ano, um cheiro muito forte, abrimos a janela e pedimos para eles limparem enquanto fomos dar uma volta, ao retornar, percebemos que eles tinham limpado os filtros, mas o cheiro ainda persistia uma vez que a turbina estava muito suja!

Conforme, A Lei 13.589/2018, sancionada em janeiro último, tornou obrigatório, em todos os edifícios de uso público e coletivo, o PMOC – Plano de Manutenção, Operação e Controle em sistemas de ar condicionado.

Mas Claramente não tem acompanhamento

Então quando retornamos do jantar as 23 horas, o compressor da máquina não entrava, tentava dar partida mas não entrava, então descemos e falamos com o recepcionista o qual disse que já sabia que estava com algum problema, e se a gente queria que olhasse e nos falamos que queria era ar condicionado e trocaram a gente de quarto, o outro quarto o ar funcionava mas o cheiro igual!

Ao fazer Chek out atrasamos 15 minutos e queriam cobrar da gente mais uma diária, isso era as 11:15 da manhã sendo que demos entrada as 16:30 !

Atenção!!!

Ao chegar no hotel solicitei ao rececionista a possibilidade de fazer o checkin antes do horário, o mesmo respondeu com nenhuma simpatia que não era possível. Parecia que estava muito atarefado. Me referi ao estacionamento do hotel e não me deu nenhuma atenção, só me informou o valor.
Realmente o que eu havia lido nas avaliações procede, como eu fiquei apenas um dia não quis me estressar.

Pontos negativos:

- Banheiro com vazamento no chão
- Pia entupida
- Paredes sujas e porta do armário suja
- Local da piscina, fiquei muito impressionada. Completamente abandonado.
- Café da manhã bem fraco.

Pontos positivos:
- Localização

Detalhe. Me cobraram uma taxa extra no checkin de 70,00 que no momento da reserva nao havia sido informado.
O atendente não soube me explicar e pediu para entrar em contato com o Hotéis.com

Não superou a expectativa!

Não superou minhas expectativas, não tem manobrista, não tem ajudante de malas pois havia um funcionário só para atender a todos, não limpam o quarto (não trocaram o lençol) banheiro cheio de areia da praia, tinha que ficar pedindo pra repor material higiene, Meu marido tomou um suco no primeiro dia e o copo ficou até o final da estadia não trocaram, café da manhã muito fraco não condiz com as fotos que estão no site.

É importante o usuário que for reservado ficar atento a alguns pontos, me cobraram uma taxa de 40 reais quando me hospedei que eu não sabia então fique ciente se você reservar vai pagar essa taxa, outro ponto é o check in antecipado pois fiquei de 9 da manhã até 15h esperando para dar entrada no quarto um verdadeiro absurdo, queriam cobrar 120 reais para dar entrada, outro ponto é a tolerância no checkout que me deram só 15 min Pois o sistema ia gerar 120 reais de taxa caso eu ultrapassasse 11:15, em relação ao café da manhã é ok, o quarto é muito bom, amplo, mas no geral não volto nunca mais, esses detalhes fizeram diferença fiquei em outro depois que foi outro atendimento muito superior e era até mais barato.

Bom hotel em Copacabana

Muito boa estadia em Copacabana,
Devido a pandemia o preço tava abaixo do normal. Acho q antes de reservar, é sempre bom ver detalhes como Check In e Check out que no caso desse hotel é as 15.00 e as 11.00 respectivamente.

Quarto bom e o resto horrivel!

Foi razoavel, o quarto era maravilhoso, alguma avarias no quarto, banheiro vazando, mas foi confortavel. Agora a recepção do hotel no calor que o Rio de Janeiro faz com ar desligado e uma fila pra dar entrada no hotel e saida no hotel é imperdoavel, 1 hora da manha o ar geladissimo no lob do hotel, 11 da manha o ar desligado, nao existe. Café da manha HORRIVEEEL!

Cordialidade dos funcionário nota 1000. Limpeza da suíte impecável, mas a área da piscina deixa muito à desejar. Suja, com aspecto de abandono, almofadas das poltronas rasgadas. Mesmo na pandemia devereiam lembrar que is hóspedes gostam de fotos.

Muito bom com valor incrível e ótima localização

Estivemos no quarto 407 entre 15 e 18 de outubro de 2020.

Quarto bem espaço, limpo, ar condicionado perfeitamente funcionando, Tv a cabo, wi fi.

Banheiro estava com a luz plafon queimada. O banheiro ficou meio escuro no boxe.

Luz valoriza a limpeza. Primordial em um hotel.

Queixas apenas em relação ao café da manhã.
Deixou bastante a desejar em variedade, quantidade e qualidade. Nota 7 para o conjunto da obra.

Razoavel, localizacao boa, fica na rua principal de copacabana , a cerca de 03 quadras da praia, mas o café da manhã é muito ruim, com pouquissima variedade, frios somente podemos comer se solicitarmos na cozinha, salgadinhos frios e sem recheio, atendimento no geral tem muito a melhorar.

Quarto bom, amplo , banheiro excelente! Cafe da manhã tem que melhorar.
Infelizmente nao voltarei e nem indico esse hotel, pois, os funcionarios que estavam no checkout do dia 07/09/2020, são extremamente mal educados, intransigentes e nao tiveram um minimo de bom senso sobre o horario de saída.

Na verdade, eu não fiquei no royalty, pq quando cheguei nele estava com tapume com um recado pra me direcionar até o hotel oceano Copacabana. Fiquei muito chateado, já que não me avisaram com antecedência, inclusive, tive q ir andando até o oceano Copacabana. A única coisa boa q tem nesse hotel é a localização, de resto, horrível! Funcionários despreparados e sem iniciativa, acomodações horríveis, limpeza ruim, barulhento, café da manhã muito pobre e vc chega às 7h pra tomar café e ainda não está completo com máquina de café q não funciona direito, piscina pequena e o rapaz da manutenção fica mexendo com vc lá, dando a impressão q vc está atrapalhando... não foi o q escolhi, mas jamais voltaria!

Hotel bom, na recepção alterna a simpatia, o funcionário da tarde, muito simpático, prestando boas sugestões de restaurantes e passeios e etc., o da manhã, não era tão simpático, e por isso, evitávamos, de consultá-lo. O café da manhã não nos agradou, pois a reposição é lenta, e achamos que não tinha muitas variedades.

UN DESASTRE DEVUELVANME EL DINERO

Estoy muy enojada al ingresar consultamos si cobraban algo extra como sercicio a la habitacion imp al turismo ,dijeron que nada ademas de los consumos en el hotel. Al retirarnos nos cobraron la tasa de turismo que es que habiamos leido y ademas el room service , 103 reales por 3 noches un desastre. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba se corto la luz solo habia luz en recepcion, el comedor sin luz todo frio, y la habitacion se inundaba porque la ducha estaba tapada , nunca vinieron a verla un desastre . Cero orientacion al turista
