Very old, many broken thing Aron the room , lots of mould on the walls and on the pillows. My air conditioner did not work at all, it was blowing hot air, and making lots of noise, it was impossible to sleep, the AC was maybe 40 years old, I have pictures of it. The windows didn’t close properly and the room was full of mosquitoes. I asked them to change my room and they refused. I insisted and they changed my room on Tuesday at 8.00 pm few hours before I left . For the whole time I stayed there I didn’t get any sleep. The staff is very rude and they do not speak English, Italian or Spanish at all. They o ly speak their language, and they are not willing to help or trying to understand the customer need. When I checked in they gave me the room already knowing the air conditioning wasn’t working. That machine is 59 years old and there is no way they didn’t know it was not working. I had a terrible experience.

DONT STAY HERE!!! The room was tweeible, ive stayed in 50$ CAD motel rooms that were far better than this. After checking in, we immediately decided to check out and go somewhere else, AND THEY WOULDNT REIMBURSE US! We argued with the front staff for an hour before leaving, and am still be trying to get my money back!!! Not sure how these rooms / conditions are acceptable, especially being right off of the most touristy area of all of brasil

The best feature that the hotel has is location. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful .
However , the rooms had very bad stained towels and sheets . The AC unit was old that it didn’t work properly.

Room was súper small and outdated. Ac worked ok but I had extreme problem of mosquitos. There was only a bar of soap and no shampoo. I had to get my card magnetized each day. This is tough being in the 12 floor. Internet was extremely terrible also. I tried ordering Ubers to places and would struggle to complete my work.

Terrible hotel labeled as 3 star

Stayed 4 nights to watch Carnival. Location is good (only good thing for the stay). Hotel conditions are terrible. Labeled as 3 star hotel, but don't think it is better than any 1 or 2 star motels (in terms of US or Europe standard). Bath towels are dirt, suppose to be white but what we see is dirt yellow colors, looks like 20 years old towels even ripped off. Some staff are helpful, some not. I will not come back again.

This is on a busy street. The traffic has a lot of small engine motorcycles (loud). And drivers use their horns routinely to signal each other. About a third of the rooms are on the street side. And don't have much to mitigate the noise. Plus there was some kind of random tapping going on inside one of the walls. I tried to change rooms, but was told the hotel was full. I bailed after a couple of days of sleep deprivation. Ugh.

The only complaint I have about this hotel is they served the same breakfast every day!! I also had a disagreement with the front desk about visitors. It wasn’t explained thoroughly to me other than that the hotel serve purpose for me.

Excellent location 2 blocks feom copacabana. Now my favorite beach anywhere. RDJ isn't a perfect city but as long as you dont stray into where you shouldnt.go and do it is reasonably safe.
The beaches were amazing and Hotel Canada was a great deal for the price.
Not 5 star but it didnt lack any basic needs and cleanliness was aceptable.

Great budget option! Clean, good air conditioning & hot water, good breakfast, nice staff, only 1 block up from center of Copa Beach!, surrounded by tons of shops & restaurants, & totally safe area. But note: rooms are very basic, so don't go looking for elegance. Again, great budget option (especially if you can get online for under $50 US). (Note: Ubers are very cheap, esp the motorcycle taxis to jump around; & don't miss nightly outdoor samba party at Pedra do Sal - about 20 mins away in Centro but worth it!)

Great team, great service. Friendly place.

Stayed in this hotel a few times, various rooms/floors. It's very basic and dated but my experiences have been positive overall.
It's usually very clean but above all the staff are superb. Very helpful, very friendly...a winning team from the cleaners, porters to reception and cooks. Very pleased with the service and it makes up for what the building lacks (like charging/plug sockets in the rooms!) it is mostly good value, and the breakfast while simple..is good and fresh. Noise in some rooms is a little loud but I requested quieter rooms and had good success with that, comfortable sleep.

The hotel was great for the price. It's nothing fancy but everything worked super well. The front desk staff were extra friendly, the housekeepers a little less but not enough to bother us. The breakfast was decent and the location amazing!! Booking it again next time I go to Rio!

We found many parasites crawling on our bed. The place is dirty and nasty. Looks very nice in the pictures but it is a nasty hotel.
We contact management they did not even apologized.

Basic Hotel in a great location

A very basic hotel. Enough comfort completely satisfied - and absolutely nothing fancy. But it’s also extremely well priced. The staff are amazing and the lobby and general areas are clean. Breakfast is more than adequate. Location is five stars. Literally a block from famous Copacabana Beach.

Hay dos detalles uno no tiene telefono en la habitación para comunicarse a la recepción por alguna eventualidad y el otro es que tuvimos que reclamar toallas un dia porque no habian dejado. Large room, good linen & towels and toiletries.
And the fabulous breakfast!!!
Don’t forget to walk to Ipanema Beach- 2 klms.
Beautiful différent landscape.

Bring from Canada it seemed like the natural option to stay here. I have to say that the hotel staff here is the most helpful of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Especially Afonso at the front, he answered all my many questions and helped me with my tour of the city! The hotel was comfortable and in a great location.

Good value for the price at a central location

This is a typical mid-level Brazilian hotel. I booked one of the more basic room categories and it was clean, comfortable, and cozy. AC was a trifle noisy but it worked. Plenty of hot water and functional Wifi. The breakfast was very good and varied and the staff (shout out for Ana and Martins) were friendly. The hotel is just a few blocks from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the Metro station which will connect you quickly and easily to most destinations in Rio. This was excellent value for the location and a worthwhile pick if you are staying in Rio and don't want to break the bank.

Nice hotel in the heart of Copacabana. It may not be a modern luxury hotel but it's cozy and comfortable. Only a five minute walk to the beach. The staff was very friendly and their English was excellent. And their breakfasts were amazing.

Banheiro com mau cheiro horroroso, vaso entupido, colchão maior que a cama, quase me levando a um tombo, só um elevador funcionando, o que, diante da existencia de 96 unidades ou algo em torno de 250 a 300 hospedes usando os elevadores.
Parece que tem sido característica da Rede Andrade o pessimo estado dos hoteis.

Chegamos exaustos no hotel às 14:40 e o rapaz disse pra aguardarmos na recepção, ficamos por um bom tempo, quando deu aproximadamente 15:40 ainda não estava pronto, falei algumas coisas pro rapaz.
No chek out a moça de recepção também foi desagradável, pois eu havia pagado uma diária a mais pra ficar até o horário do voo, e ela insinuou que tínhamos ficado além da conta no hotel na frente de outros hóspedes.
Apenas o senhor que ajuda carregar as malas e as pessoas da cozinha foram excelentes.

Fiz a reserva com 5 meses de antecedência, ainda sim , me colocaram no ultimo andar onde o elevador nao chegava, a explicação foi por estarem com super lotação, nao gostei.
So no primeiro dia os funcionários ajudaram com as malas, no dia de ir embora, nao deram muita bola.
Cafe da manha atrasou , isso fez com que atrasasse nosso compromisso.
Tirando isso , a localização do hotel e perfeita, tem recuo para carros de aplicativos e táxi. Muitos barzinhos , padaria supermercado, tudo perto.

INFESTADO DE CHINCHES
UN LUGAR ASQUEROSO. SUCIO. INSALUBRE. LA ATENCIÓN EN RECEPCIÓN A LA LLEGADA NEFASTA.

Valeria Márquez de México me hospedé en Rede Andrade Hotel Canadá Copacabana, habitación 1105, con una reservación realizada a través de Expedia.

Me dirijo a ustedes para expresar formalmente mi inconformidad y exigir la devolución íntegra del monto pagado por mi hospedaje debido a las pésimas e insalubres condiciones del hotel.

Durante mi estancia encontramos chinches en las camas de la habitación 1105, una situación completamente inaceptable que representa un grave problema de higiene y seguridad para cualquier huésped. Debido a esto, me vi obligada a abandonar el hotel el día 25 de mayo de 2026 aproximadamente a las 22:30 hrs.

Además de la presencia de chinches, las instalaciones se encontraban sucias, deterioradas y en condiciones muy distintas a las anunciadas al momento de realizar la reserva mediante Expedia. El trato recibido por parte del personal también fue sumamente desagradable y poco profesional.

Como evidencia adjunto:
• Comprobante de reservación y pago.
• Documento de desistimiento de hospedaje firmado dentro del hotel, donde quedó asentado el motivo de mi salida, incluyendo el reporte de chinches en las camas.

Solicito la devolución total del dinero pagado, ya que las condiciones ofrecidas no correspondían en absoluto con un hospedaje seguro, higiénico ni digno.

Quedo en espera de una pronta respuesta y solución formal a este problema.

A localização é ótima, próximo a muitos restaurantes e à praia. Porém o quarto era bem simples, o lençol saía da cama, ficando com o colchão exposto; o ar condicionado é bem antigo e fica num nível baixo na parede, levando muito vento para a cama e não gelando todo o ambiente. O café da manhã era ok. No geral, tem um bom custo-benefício.

La habitación desde que llegué estaba sucia y bastante descuidada, todo el mobiliario era muy viejo y los colchones más, ninguna noche de descanso. Además de que estaba llena de cucarachas lo cual era bastante desagradable. Desafortunadamente no me pude cambiar de hotel ya que me salía demasiado caro, pero como recomendación yo les diría que por favor no se hospeden aquí. O hotel embora simples, atendeu às minhas necessidades. Os quartos são pequenos, carpete nos andares, cama não muito confortável, Hall de entrada pequeno, pessoal da recepção sem graça, porém muito bem localizado e limpinho. Compensou pelo preço da diária que costuma ser mais em conta em relação aos demais hotéis de Copacabana. Precisando eu retorno sem problemas.
