My arrival check In was very slow and nobody to take my luggages to my room. Breakfast very average nothing special. Bathroom is very small and sheets not very clean. I was expecting something a lot better. Sometimes it is better to pay more and have better service and room.

Pillows are thin. Window in the room was open when I checked in and there were a few bugs in the room. There was a shirt from the previous guest left in the closet. Sand on the floor and on the top shelf inside the closet. Spider web on ceiling by the bed. USB port does not work. And the worse was I witnessed a lady who probably works for the hotel accusing one of the bell staff of charging guests 150 reais to deliver their luggage. She was cursing and being rude right there, in the middle of the lobby.

Affordable but with corresponding quality

We had two rooms, a double room, and a triple. Mixed feelings. The service was excellent, very helpful at the reception and the bellboy. Breakfast was good in general and they took good measures for safety and protection. The condition of the hotel needs some upgrading, old furniture, simple decoration, the quality of the fixtures, walls, floors in the bathrooms and in general is on the cheap side. The queen size bed was really two beds put together with the mattresses detaching a little bit in the middle. But the hotel price is affordable. About 3 1/2 blocks from the beach.

We have stayed here before. It’s a few blocks from the beach, but east access to shopping and restaurants. The room we had was big with a king bed and a sauna. Different size rooms to choose. The breakfast was good. Served by staff of the hotel because of the covid. For the money, you can’t go wrong.

Arriving to check in we got to room n we had been given double instead of twin so rang down to change room to be told hotel fully booked so can't have another room you will have to just stay hear even though I had booked a twin room. After speaking to reception for over an hour they brought up a kids camp bed and didn't even bother to make it just said there sleep on that the hotel is an absolute joke do not stay

This is an old hotel, but the room was clean. The main hotel manager is a decent guy and took care of a problem caused by Expedia not properly charging for the room. The breakfast was better than most in this price range.

We had a good time

I'm Brazilian, my husband and 4 years old toddler are American. We enjoyed our time overthere, staff always helpful and pleasant to deal with. The location is 3 blocks away from the beach, one block away from the subway. There's a túnel in the same street of the hotel, but I don't advise you to go across the túnel walking, because in the past when I lived in Copacabana, I've heard many histories of people being mugged in that túnel. As far as violence, we did not experience or saw any criminal experience during carnaval 2017; we felt safe most of times and that is a plus. The hotel location is close to shops, boutiques e grocery stores which is convenient. The only bad experiences I had in the hotel was the tv that didn't work in our bedroom. In addition there was a couple having sex in the 502, we could hear all the action and screams. I actually went to the front desk to complain because I was unable to explain my son when he asked me what was going on. And the towels felt rough on the skin, and the water in the shower was luckwarm never hot. Overall it's a nice hotel, but the walls are thin tho keep in mind you can't make much noises but quite frankly you shouldn't make certain noises anyways. Do you know what I mean?

Average hotel, staff were disappointing.

We stayed here for my 30th birthday and asked the reception staff for ideas where to go to celebrate but they would not assist. The only thing which the reception staff did assist with was arranging airport transfers on our arrival at the domestic airport - for more than twice the cost of the return taxi fare to the international airport twice as far away. Furthermore, we had to ask for clean towels more than once because the room had not been cleaned by 4pm. That being said, the pool attendants were helpful, professional and not at all pushy.

Nice hotel in centre of Copacabana

The hotel is good value for money. The breakfast is good and it has a lovely pool area on the roof. The staff speak English which was good for us as we speak very little Portugese. The hotel is a short walk to the beach.

It is a nice hotel, close to metro station and Copacabana beach. It has noice problems, where the other rooms flush can be heard over our heads. Breakfast was always the same... Not bad for the price

Hotel entspricht einem 3 Sterne Hotel.
Große Zimmer mit Kühlschrank.
Ausser Seife Shampoo und conditioner gibt es 2 Pappbecher die in 19 Tagen nicht ersetzt wurden.
Das Frühstück entspricht nicht einem Hotel mit 4 Sternen.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

O hotel não foi o esperado. Café da manhã fraco. No quarto não tinha apoio para mala. O pior de tudo foi o ar condicionado precário, pois, mesmo após a manutenção ter ido verificar o motivo de não estar esfriando, nada foi resolvido. Pagamos caro para não termos conforto.

O pessoal da recepção é extrememente solícito.
Os manobristas são prestativos.
O café da manhã é muito bom, com alimentos frescos e bem feitos.

Não vá quando a temperatura estiver alta no Rio

Ar-condicionado péssimo. Depois da primeira noite, pedi para trocar de quarto. Disseram que chamariam a manutenção, mas já revelaram que o ar-condicionado é um sistema central que não permite diminuir a temperatura individualmente no quarto. Depois da segunda noite, tendo acordado com a camisa molhada de suor, pedi novamente para trocar de quarto. Desta vez, atenderam, mas não serviu para nada. O ar-condicionado continuava incapaz de resfriar o quarto, mostrando uma temperatura entre 27 e 29 graus. Como não devolveriam o pagamento, me conformei. O quarto é bem antigo e precisa de uma boa reforma. Do chuveiro saiu um fino fio de água. O café da manhã é razoável.

Seria perfeito se o ar condicionado refrigerasse.

O hotel é muito bom, limpo, bem organizado, bem localizado, bom cafe da manha e um bom atendimento. Havia piscina e academia que nao usufruimos, mas estavam lá. O unico problema foi com o ar condicionado. Estava muito quente e o ar não refrigerava. Trocamos de quarto , mas esta questao nao foi resolvida e acabamos tendo uma noite mal dormida e gente que não conseguu dormir. O rapaz da manutenção foi chanado 3 vezes e por fim descobrimos que o sistema de ar era de agua gelada e não a gàs. Como o quarto era grande e pegava sol a tarde toda o ar nao comportava. Com o tempo em vez da temperatura diminuar ela aumentava. Isso foi ruim porque nao descansamos como deveŕíamos, mas no restante o hotel está de parabéns. Acho que esta questão do ar deve ser revista.

O hotel fica bem localizado, fica perto da estaçao siqueira campos, tem muito comércio próximo, essa rua fuca próxima rua santa clara ( é só descer a rua santa clara e ir para praia).

Café da manha é razoável

* Tive um problema no banheiro do meu quarto, tinha uma goteira dentro do box! Nao cheguei a reclamer pois comprei somente 1 diária e fui embora.

Não foi como eu imaginava. O ar condicionado não funcionou, não gelava, passei o sabado reclamando na recepção, e não resolveu. Sabado a noite quando cheguei da rua era por volta das 22:30, passei a recepção e perguntei se tinha resolvido, fui informado que sim e que o problema era apenas configuração do Controle do ar. Porém, n foi resolvido o quarto muito quente. Além do ar n esquentar, ele faz muito barulho no que atrapalha vc dormir. Ou seja, paguei um valor considerável pela estadia, para dormir duas noites péssimas.

Nós dois últimos dias não dormimos. Ficamos num quarto onde tinha uma porta que dava acesso a outro quarto mesmo com a porta trancada a acústica é horrível!

E ainda dispensaram o Marcelo. Voltamos por conta do atendimento dele! E quando chegamos ele não está a mais lá. As instalações não estão 100% e precisa de alguns reparos.

Localizacao boa. Cafe da manha razoavel.
Quarto extremamente barulhento, se ouvia as conversas (e intimidade) dos outros quartos, pois as paredes tem uma acustica horrorosa.
Barulho da rua bem intenso tambem.
Faltam diversos utensilios basicos que outros hoteis tem, como caneta, touca de banho, ducha higienica e tanque na entrada de servico para lavar os pes quando vem da praia.

Quite large room but outdated interior.

The room was ample for a hotel in this area and valor. The room and especially the bathroom room appeared very clean. However as it is an outdated interior it doesn't feel 100% clean. The pillows were horrible, the bed was OK. What was really annoying is the poor sound isolation. You can hear your neighbors talk like they are in your room.
Breakfast was good. Nothing special, but it had all the standard stuff you would expect and it tasted good.

Otimo hotel, bem localizado e super atendimento

O atendimento foi excelente, cheguei mais tarde para o check in e fui surpreendida com um upgrade de meu quarto para uma suite. No dia seguinte, tinha que fazer uma reunião do hotel depois de meu ceheck out e não tive problemas de usar o business center.

O hotel precisa de uma repaginada urgente. É um hotel grande, com muitos quartos e injustificadamente não possui restauração nem governança 24 horas. Os quartos têm tamanho bom, mas pecam no isolamento acústico. Pelo preço cobrado, poderia ser melhor. Café da manhã dentro do esperado.
