This hotel DOES NOT have air conditioning. They will bring you a fan with ice.

Fancy 8th floor bar was booked for private parties every night so we never got to use it but we’re treated to the thumping music.

Service staff were exceptional. Included breakfast was lovely and had a huge selection.

Restaurant was decent. Nothing extraordinary.

Designed like a treehouse hotel with what I assume are native Indonesian trees and plants in the center, the room was comfortable and functional. The restaurant served a nice buffet breakfast and the menu offered good if simple Indonesian dishes. The pool was nice, large enough to do laps, but the gym was very small. Overall a very pleasant stay, I would stay again.

We loved the beautiful peaceful rain forest, the spa with mint water, the restaurant with excellent Indonesian food overlooking the water, the small bakery and sandwich shop, the spacious room, and the location. The hotel feels modern and new, and the rooms are fresh and clean with canal views. This was one of my favorite hotels stays ever.

great hotel, rooms are large and clean, excellent showers. Try the wellness center. my wife and I enjoyed a massage and a dip in the pool. Breakfast was over the top, visit the bakery, best bread around

we ate in the restaurant 2 nights as we were too tired to go anywhere. It was excellent, had a martini in the roof top cocktail lounge, what a view of the harbor

each of the staff was friendly and accommodating. If we end up in Amsterdam again, we would stay again.

Great hotel with an amazing and friendly staff. So much cool environmentally conscious technology. The hotel is very sleek and modern looking, very clean and the amenities were great, such as the pool and spa (we got a massage and it was heavenly). The breakfast served each morning had a lot of great, well-balanced options. I loved the cafe connected to the hotel, such great lattes and treats.

If you're trying to be price conscious on a trip to Amsterdam, this hotel is a great option without sacrificing a quality stay. We learned how to use the bus 43 and tram 26 stops close by to the hotel with having no context of them or Amsterdam's public transit system prior to our trip. Both were very easy to navigate into the heart of the city once we got the hang of it after the first day.

The only opportunity I would say is despite the beds being comfortable, the comforters in the room provided a lot of warmth and I wish we could have cooled our room temp down a little more.

Overall, would definitely stay there again!

There was no separate body soap for the shower, you had to keep moving the shower gel from the sink into the shower. Also, no conditioner provided. The mattresses kept sliding off the bed.

Was a great hotel, staff lovely too. Provided toothbrush/toothpaste on my request.
Room was nice and clean, very big with a nice view of the bridge and water.

It is no smoking, but as a smoker, i didn't find this too much of a hassle to go downstairs.

Bus stop right by hotel into Central station.

Nice pool, which wasn't too busy at the times i happened to go downstairs.

Only nitpick was the pillows&mattress topper, bit soft for me. But the beds were singles put together. The actual mattress below seemed firmer and to my liking.

Staff in the restaurant were unfriendly. We walked in one day and 80% of the tables had dirty dishes in them and nobody was cleaning them. The food was mediocre at best. We were on the 9th floor and there seemed to always be noise from the water or elsewhere.

The hotel itself is well presented and stylish, with very good facilities and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, our overall experience was let down by the restaurant and the level of service provided by the staff.

During our meal, we were served a glass that had what can only be described as residue resembling snot on the side. When we brought this to the waitress’s attention, she simply took the glass away and poured the same water into a new glass. A more experienced staff member would have replaced both the glass and the water entirely.

The situation worsened when we ordered a grilled chicken club Jakarta sandwich, but what arrived was a basic processed chicken toastie—something comparable to a quick grab-and-go item from a coffee chain. At that point, we chose to leave rather than wait longer for a correction, especially as the manager seemed confused about our complaint, despite it appearing we had been served the wrong dish.

Overall, the restaurant and staff significantly tainted what could have been a great stay.

Additionally, the hotel’s distance from the central train station made getting to and from the city inconvenient. The cost of Ubers quickly added up, and in hindsight, it would have been better to book a hotel closer to the centre.

The hotel is on the waterfront only a short bus/tram ride to Centraal. The staff are polite friendly and engaging. The wood wood interior and plants give the hotel a chilled feel.
The room is a good size, comfortable bed and a great bathroom. My room with a balcony overlooked the river, it was great to watch the sunset over central Amsterdam.
A good selection at the buffet breakfast. I did not use the pool or wellness facilities, both looked great.

The building is wonderful, but the room was not clean, and while the breakfast buffet was very good, the dinner was disappointing (certainly not an authentic rijst tafel nor a good fusion of it).
For the price one pays and being a little out of the way (not terribly close to downtown) I had expected a little bit better.

Absolutely faultless. The hotel was beautiful, the decor and styling is amazing. The rooms were spotless and the beds are so comfortable and big. All of the staff are so friendly and attentive. Check in/check out process was so seamless with the online forms. Took a few minutes to fill in (I did it on the way to the hotel) and when we arrived at the hotel we were checked in in under 5minutes. The gentleman at the reception allowed us to enter our room early which was amazing as we had an early flight. He took up our luggage and it was waiting for us when we got to the room. The breakfast had lots of options for all dietary requirements and was always fresh and lovely! Tea making station was a nice touch, a tea lovers dream. The spa is great also, I HIGHLY recommend the Balinese massage. It was the best massage I’ve ever had. The pool area was nice and clean but the water is rather cold so couldn’t really enjoy it unless you’re planning on swimming laps. The restaurant is lovely and reasonably priced, you can also have it as room service which is nice if you want a quiet night. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel which takes you straight to Central Amsterdam in about 10mins, also a tram which is a short walk over the bridge. All in all this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

This hotel is SO lovely, the staff were incredible, the front desk, the bar, the restaurant, the breakfast crew, the Mala bar staff - all super friendly and helpful.

The room was great, balcony, bath and shower, massive bed, fridge, robes, hairdryer, coffee machine, everything you could need. Really easy to get into the city in about 5 mins by taking the number 43 bus from right outside. Would definitely stay here again.

This was an ideal pre-cruise location prior to our river cruise. Comfortable room, outstanding breakfast with so much selection and wonderful, friendly staff. Easy walking distance to cruise port, and excellent connections via bus, tram and metro made it easy home base from which to explore Amsterdam. Close enough to be convenient but far enough away from central area to be quiet and relaxing. Very new, modern and unique.

We were a group of 9 staying to do the marathon and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. The whole staff team were exceptional, from Britt, Senne and Putri in reservations and reception through to the team in the restaurant especially Fajar who remembered me wanting soya cappuccinos each morning. Super friendly and helpfu one and all. The restaurant food was great such that we ate there a lot more than we'd originally planned and they catered brilliantly for coeliac vegetarians like me. They opened breakfast early on marathon day at 6am which was perfect. The wellness centre was also ace - the pool is cool temperature wise which is great for swimming and has great hydro jets. The sauna super hot and good steam room too. It is also beautifully styled and very eco conscious. Finally getting into town was easy - either a 1.7km walk or two stops on the 26 tram to central. And finally very peaceful at night. And for those that like fresh air when you're sleeping you can open the patio doors wide rather than be stuck with those teeny windows you get in some hotels.

Probably one of the best places I've ever stayed for combining a beautiful hotel with such warm and friendly service. Thank you team!
