We had a great stay at the Beach Club on Madison! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was very clean, and housekeeping did a great job making up the room each day. They also provide fresh beach and pool towels, which was very convenient.
The pool was clean and well maintained. One of the best perks is that you can use the beach entrance through their partner hotel, La Mer, where the staff will set up chairs and umbrellas for you. Just keep in mind that you'll need to purchase a beach badge on-site, which was $10 per day during our stay.
The hotel is about a 3-minute drive to the beach and roughly a 13-minute walk to Washington Street Mall, so it's close enough to enjoy everything without being right in the middle of the crowds. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at this hotel. our room was clean and was equipped with a little kitchenette. There was Towels for beach and shower which was nice. The staff was very helpful in guiding us to the beach access and we were supplied with complimentary beach loungers and towels which was a great added bonus. We wished the hot tub was hotter , it was more luke warm. All in all we enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

Our stay was delightful. When we checked-in, the person who greeted us was friendly and accommodating. Our room was easy to locate and we found it immaculate. We slept well in a comfortable bed and we were never awoken by any kind of noise.

the hotel is clean and really nice. I wish they told me in advance that check in has to be done in another hotel (I would have driven directly there). There is not always someone in the reception so you always have to refer to the main hotel. Parking is limited: the parking spots available are half the number of rooms. But you can park in the streets around.

This property is the site of an old school motel that has not changed much at all from the outside but the rooms are beautifully renovated. Great style and function, even if they are smaller. Our biggest call out was the odd array of heating and cooling units with no instructions, and no exhaust fan in bathroom. Also there was no one onsite to assist, and when we called, we got an AI bot. However, all-in-all we loved the design and had a nice time off season and the price was excellent!

This property refused to let myself and my 10 year old child stay for one night in early April. Their policy is adults only. They refused a service that I paid for through Expedia. I was not compensated my payment nor was I allowed to stay the night.

I guess it’s not the hotels fault but there seemed to be some type of military graduation going on with plenty of partying and noise all night . The office of the hotel is not manned in the off-season so there’s nobody to complain to or correct the situation. And it wasn’t like I was just there for one night. I went away for four relaxing days and didn’t get a good nights sleep till I got home.

Nice quiet area; amenities abound, great for everyone but especially those who may choose not to dine out. If you are a biker, the area is almost traffic free with wide, quiet streets. The 'active' area of Cape May is only moments away. Some very good restaurants located close by. The beach is a short walk. The staff extremely accommodating. One suggestion would be clear, in-room instructions on how to operate the TV. The staff member was kind enough to provide assistance which was very much appreciated. The room and surrounding grounds are very well kept and there's plenty of parking available on the property. Very highly recommend.

The Beach Club on Madison Avenue is a really lovely place to stay in Cape May. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and efficient, and provided great local restaurant recommendations. The room was spotless, and the amenities were many. I will stay here again next time I'm in Cape May.

Being a 21+ property the crowd staying while we were there were quiet and respectful of quiet hours and not being rowdy at the pool, something we appreciated for this trip.
We took advantage of the free chair and umbrella service at the sister property, La Mer (I would drive vs walk there), which was the best amenity and worth it. The room was well decorated and kept up. We would stay here again.

The only thing I didn’t like was, we were got to the hotel early so we got lunch and went back to the hotel, we were allowed to sit at the pool, we did not have our swim suits on or had no place to change or go the a bathroom and they made us wait until exacy4:00 to get in the room.. that was not accommodating.

This property is fine but is kind of expensive. Also, it would be helpful to have a luggage rack or two to put our bags on. The TVs were impossible to figure out. Channel guide was incorrect, too. Otherwise nice property with an easy walk to downtown without having to worry abt parking.

First time here. Very nicely renovated. Super clean, staff was pleasant. The only negatives were the price (room is small, but it’s the summer) & the noisy humidifier (kept waking us up). Would definitely still recommend :)

My husband and I stayed 4 nights here while visiting Cape May. The beach club was perfect for a short trip for couples. The property was well maintained and the rooms were clean. We had limited contact with the staff but check in and check out was seamless. The property was a 15-20 minute walk to washington mall which was doable but easy enough to drive / find parking. We did use the beach services via the La Mer. The area was affected by the hurricane so we were unable to use services for part of our stay however we did get access to the beach services for one day. Beach services were definitely overwhelmed with guests from the La Mer and Madison Ave beach club. I would recommend going early have access to all services. We would definitely consider staying here again.
