Large well-equipped room and reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
However, breakfast was inedible. A large fan outside the room loudly rumbled like a large truck all night. Plumbing pipes knocked and gurgled at 4am, waking us up. Hallways were cluttered with carts and cleaning supplies and were a sickly green colour with a maze-like layout.

The building and rooms are old but well-maintained. Breakfast is good. The rooms we have stayed in this time and last time are both very spacious, which is rare compared to the newer hotels. Our family of 4 didn't feel crammed in a little room at all. Great value!

The housekeeping service was great! Front desk staff were very pleasant. Building is kept fairly secure. Rooms were spacious with comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. Parking was convenient, but a little pricey (though worthwhile for the ease - and the hotel is centrally located); recommend not using the garage parking if you have a large vehicle with a hatchback - the ceiling was too low to get the back open in my assigned parking space, which made getting the luggage out quite difficult.

I was shocked actually because I was not expecting much but food had variety, great taste and even snack bags for on the go breakfast. And everything tasted fresh.
Cons : the reason I won’t be staying here again is the bed. The mattress is really bad. I thought maybe it’s a new place and that’s why I can’t sleep but nooooo.. the mattress is horrible. I haven’t slept in 4 days and my back is killing me now. Also the property is really old and not in a fun way. And it has this terrible smell everywhere( elevators, hallways, rooms) that no amount of perfume could take away.

From the moment we interacted - at the check-in counter - with a very friendly and professional young lady, called Lina, until the moment we checked out 2 days laterr - with a very kind young man - our stay at The Business Inn has been outstandingly positive! We felt at home in our beautiful room on the 11th floor,
We also enjoyed eating at the buffet breakfast room on the third floor. The gentleman working there did a wonderful job organizing the flow of placing and refilling the many breakfast items.
A praise to the Manager of The Business Inn, because he is aware of just how very important a job it is to train the personnel the way to make the guests feel welcome, meet them with a smiling face always, give the guests time to present their questions, and then find solutions, all in a calm manner.
We highly recommend this hotel in beautiful Ottawa. We also hope to be able to return to soon.

The room, bathroom, and kitchen are clean. The breakfast selection is quite good, it offers plenty of variety, including convenient \"grab and go\" options for those in a rush. However, the dining area is quite small; unless you’re willing to wait for a table, you might need to take your meal back to your room. My suite was located directly next to the elevator, and I could hear a squeaky mechanism throughout the night. While I was told there is complimentary laundry on-site, I didn't have the chance to use it. The accommodations is quite dated, but the services are great.

One of the best one night stay hotel I have ever had. Went with the whole family and everybody had a blast. This is a quirky place. The building is older, with small elevators and narrow corridors, but our suite was large and well appointed, with a great kitchen, comfy king-size bed, a balcony and a 6-foot TV screen! The included buffet breakfast isn't fancy, but there are plenty of choices. Seating in the breakfast room is cramped - the \"extra\" dining rooms across the hall are much brighter and more spacious. Overall, it's a well-located hotel that makes up for the building's shortcomings with friendly service and good value.

When I asked the front staff for extra facecloths, they told me to help myself to the shelves of clean towels at the end of the hall! This may seem trivial but it’s an issue at almost every hotel I stay at, to get extra anything. This place goes the extra mile with the extras. Our suite was fully stocked with anything a kitchen needs & then some. We felt like we were at home.

I was offered breakfast not only after the night I stayed, but also on the morning before I checked in when I left my bag for the day! It is a full, hot breakfast with excellent choices, including terrific oatmeal and toppings and the best egg bites I have ever had.
The room was huge, comfortable, clean, with a great view over the city.
Even though I was next to the elevator, there was no banging or clanging or much talking in the hallways.
I highly recommend this place for all the reasons above, PLUS the incredibly reasonable price and great location - I walked to all of my meetings.

It was good! Clean and all. At breakfast, I just didn’t like that the protein options were merely ham/pork and just one option of egg and cheese. So it is limited to that. Other snack options were available but it’s not high protein. If you like cereal or oatmeal. Other than that, love the fact that my room had a kitchen so you could cook if you didn’t want to eat out. Not bad at all.
