It was a great location but the building is quite old and the last room I stayed in needs some renovation. 50% of staff were courteous and others did not even smile…. I stayed for 5 nights and ppl
Knew I was a guest but I was ignored daily. Not welcoming
But some had better customer service than the others. I would rate it as “ do able” for the vicinity to everything.

My husband and I just came back from a wonderful trip to Prague and were so happy to have chosen to stay here. It’s conveniently located, clean, wonderful staff and close to everything. Although we didn’t eat here cause we had plans everyday it was a nice option to have and it smelled wonderful every morning. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a great location but that's its best feature. We had an executive room and that was pretty basic with an uncomfortable mattress. Cleaning of the room was larlte afternoon for some reason. The staff at breakfast were not helpful and they have a silly system for ordering breakfast. The reception staff were bordering on incompetent. We organised a taxi two days before departure and we checked 3 times including on the day of departure. When the taxi failed to arrive the receptionist apologised and said she forgot to order it. Hopeless.

The concierge on duty, Bohdanna, provided exceptional service, including offering to book transportation, directions to sites, and even carrying our bags 3 flights of stairs, as she saw we were elderly. Truly beyond the call of duty.

The food in the restaurant was very good.

In all, very good staff.

BEWARE… NO ELEVATOR. Seniors…dont book this hotel if you cant climb stairs. Nice and clean… Small room. I dont know if all the rooms are small. I got this situation when I booked a hotel in Istanbul thru Expedia.
Expedia should take a note of this stair situation especially in cities in Europe.

A great accommodation if you are staying in Prague for only a few days. Steps out to the astronomical clock and old town square. If you are out late there are four keys to get yourself inside. The nights can be quite loud with the windows open. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend if you are in Prague for a quick visit.

The property was in a great location and staff were nice. However the reception desk is in a weird location (you walk through a restaurant to get there). The room was lacking some basic amenities like a trash can in the main room and tissues in the bathroom. The shower was very small and the bathroom sink did not drain very well. There was construction on the outside of the building, which can’t be helped but the staff did not mention that construction workers would be walking past our window. Floors were thin as we could hear the person above us walking around and it was loud

This is a great place to stay in Prague literally behind the Tyn cathedral and 1 min walk from old square. The inside is pleasant and clean. The restaurant looked good though I did not eat there myself. The room was perfect and I loved the windows opening properly. A large fridge in the run was handy. However there should be a larger bin- the bathroom one is too small. The only complaint is that there was occasionally a loud noise during the night from inside the wall, probably a boiler. But it did not keep me awake. The key process was a little annoying as there are four keys but it’s fine and you get used to it. Another thing, they are currently doing some building work which is a little loud but they don’t start until 9am ish so it’s a good alarm clock I guess 😆 overall I really recommend staying here still as it’s an amazing location, spotlessly clean with friendly staff and very comfy beds and rooms. Also free Netflix was a nice touch and the WiFi was good too.

Fantastic location but VERY noisy people walking the lane way yelling and screaming. It is the party town after all. Unfortunately, our room overlooked the laneway and was also very warm from a long hot spell and we couldn’t leave the windows open at night to cool the room because of the noise. Bed was fantastic. Super clean. Netflix was a bonus to relax while resting our weary feet. Prague is a very under rated city. A must do.

No staircase to the upper levels. Wasn't mentioned anywhere while booking, no AC either and that wasn't mentioned or highlighted as well. When booking a room you'd expect these basic facilities to be there but when it's not I expect it to be highlighted.

I enjoyed my stay here. The location is very convenient you are a few steps from old town square. You are close to many of the tourist attractions and within walking distance of so many restaurants and shops. I got breakfast at the cafe one day and it was good! I also enjoyed the convenience of the airport pickup. Just keep in mind there is no elevator so you have to carry your bag up flights of stairs yourself. Also the room seems to have a heater but no air conditioning so can get hot.

Love the courtyard restaurant - we had lunch upon arrival and it was delicious, fresh, and healthy. The woman who checked us in was friendly and informative. I loved the Cathedral Prague apartments. It is a boutique hotel so the rooms are not huge but we appreciated having a kitchen to make breakfast in. I was worried about the lack of air-conditioning but because the room is in the old town, the windows do not get direct sunlight which helps keep them cool. It was also super quiet at night so we could keep the windows open. For such an amazingly central hotel (just seconds from the old square), it's peacefulness was incredible. The courtyard cafe and general decor gave it such a lovely feeling and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We would definitely recommend this place and stay again. Very close to the main area. Less then 5 minutes from the famous clock attraction which is the heart of Prague. So many restaurants, beer pubs, things to do all very close! Only this was no AC but they did provide a fan.

Cathedral Prague Apartments is centrally located so it is very easy to walk to many places of interest in Old Town. 3 minute walk to the Astrological clock. The hotel has great food and is close to many restaurants. Staff was kind and helpful. Be aware that you will hear people walking and talking in the alleys until late in the night anywhere you stay around this area. Still a great spot!

The apartment was cute, but I left at midnight on the first night of my reservation due to multiple small bugs in the bed. It was later determined that they were not bedbugs, but there were more than 5 bugs found in the bed within a few minutes and I did not feel comfortable staying there. Since the apartments are not staffed 24 hours a day, I returned the next morning to turn in my keys and let the property know of the issue. None of the stay was was refunded, not even the 2 nights remaining from my reservation that I did not occupy the apartment. The customer service from Expedia was terrible and offered no help to me in resolution. Expedia accepted the decision of the property manager without regard or compassion for their customer.

The property is atmospheric with a good cafe/restaurant if you want to use it. It is right behind the old town Square, very atmospheric, but quiet inside. We stayed in a studio. It had a single, plug-in induction cooktop, microwave and fridge. Fairly basic but ok for us. It does not have a lift. The property was clean and in good order, overall a great place to stay. The reception was helpful and obliging with excellent English.

This property is beautiful. By far the best I stayed at in the 4 countries in Europe this trip. However it is tough to get to. No address or even signs stating that it is the Cathedral apartments. I passed it several times dragging my luggage across the cobblestone streets before going into a restaurant with the same name. Thank Goodness for google maps.

This hotel was absolutely WONDERFUL! I will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to anyone I know going to Prague.

This hotel was slightly unconventional, the bottom floor is actually a restaurant so the check in counter has specific hours. My flight was landing close to their closing time (no big deal it would have been a 5 minute walk to get my keys from their sister property) but I sent them an email letting them know I may be there a little after 7pm, I got the kindest reply back not worry that they’d stay a little late to get me checked in (I ended up getting there at 10 minutes to 7).

My room was small (it’s Europe, I chose Old Town so I knew it would be) but it was darling! I had a bathroom (again by american standards small but I did not mind at all) with a shower and the beloved towel warming rack.

I also had a kitchen complete with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and a cook top and a mini fridge!

I could hear street noise but it’s not anything you wouldn’t hear in New York or LA. I could hear a little hallway noise but it wasn’t anything that bothered me or kept me up at night.

When I checked out they let me keep my bags at the desk so I could get a few more hours in Prague before my flight.

Overall this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It was very clean, the employees were warm and welcoming and very accommodating. It had a very authentic wand cozy feel to it that I wanted to stay for weeks not just a few days.

It is so central, being in a pedestrian only street it was also very quiet. The breakfast was very good value with 10% off for people staying there.
Late evening check in was a bit of a worry, we had to pick up keys from another apartment and then the transfer driver pointed us in the right direction and left us to it, someone arriving in Prague on their own and for the first time might find that a bit daunting but we had no problem.

They have a very limited check in from 2-7 and the man at the desk was very sarcastic and aggressive when I checked in around 7-15 as a result of my train being late. His nastiness was totally unnecessary. All else was great.

This was an amazing hotel. The rate was very reasonable and the location is excellent. You are less than a minute's walk away from the old town square. Even Prague Castle is walkable, about 20 minutes away. Using this hotel as our home base we were able to see everything on our list in a single day. This hotel is also quite close to many restaurant options, whether you want something local or slightly more commercial in the old town square space. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. After we made the reservation they emailed to ask when we would arrive and by what means, after providing the information they responded with the easiest route to get to the hotel by bus or train. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Prague to see the city's historical sites.

Fab location - right at the old town square. We stayed in the family room on the top floor which has one small window to outside. With the temperature being 30+, the room is incredibly hot like a sauna!! The hotel kindly put two floor fans in the room however it’s still beyond comfort during the night. We stayed outside most of time as it was much cooler than in the room at 11pm. We would suggest the hotel to install air con to the top floor rooms as Prague is always sunny and hot during summer months. Other than this, we are happy with everything else during our stay. Thank you!

Great little apartment with a fully equipped kitchenette. Fairly quiet for the location. Nice surprise that the TV was Netflix enabled so I could log into my account. Bed was fine but mattress was incredibly hard. The cleaning woman is kind and attentive.
But the one time I tried to eat at the restaurant, they let me stand there awkwardly for 10 minutes until telling someone who came in behind me that they were closed temporarily and never addressed me directly, so I never tried to eat at the restaurant again.

I never write reviews but given that my main motivation for booking these appartments were the amazing reviews I thought I should leave some comments. We booked a so called deluxe family room which was large but so dark and dingy - one high and tiny window in the corner so no view and very, very little in the way of natural light. We arrived just before check-in time and the beds were unmade and the room was dirty. There was virtually nowhere to put our clothes - one miniature wardrobe with perhaps 6 hangers to be shared between the four of us so our clothes had to stay in the suitcase or be draped over the table. The decor was tired and the room felt worn out. There was no phone so to speak to reception we had to walk up and down three flights of stairs. At night the room was like a sauna with only a broken fan to noisily push the air around. Having the window open was a nightmare as the street below was so noisy. We disliked the room so much we avoided it as much as possible during the day which made it difficult on one day when it rained solidly. There are no concierge services in the evening and at night. My daughter was very sick on the bedding and floor on the second night so there was no one to call to help. We had to manage to clear up ourselves then decided to find another place to stay, even at additional cost. We checked into a beautiful four star hotel just around the corner - lovely bright room, aircon, fabulous staff and CHEAPER. Wish we'd done it sooner.

Top location!

Fantastic location! An easy walk to Old Town Square and the Astrological clock, which made it easy to find our way anywhere. The hotel is quaint and very lean. Our room was comfortable and quiet. There is a restaurant onsite, however everything closes down at 9. The staff was polite and very helpful, and the communications prior to our visit were great. I would stay here again.

this place is in the center of everything. very near to the old town. the only downside is there are pubs around and some tourists are too noisy when they are drunk.
