the hallroom was too dark, some ceiling lights are off. Is this a Paris thing or just no one bothered to fix the hallway lights on the 3rd floor. it scares the heck out of me each time i walk in there. Get some fix that please. Common now. this is a hotel, get those lights fixed asap always

When I arrived the gentlemen at the front desk was rude. I knew check in was at 2 but he called me up just to tell me again check in was at 2. Didnt even check if rooms were ready or try to help me in any way. Finally a gentlemen with name tag that said Epongue called me up to try to get me in my room early. Total opposite from the other gentleman. That was just the check in but overall room service lacked! They didnt really clean, they just made the beds. Floor was untouched and they took our towels and never brought new ones! I had to go downstairs to get new ones but I was denied towels. I was told to come back in the morning to get them. Again, staff was rude when I requested towels and rolled their eyes at me. Not to mention coffee machine in the lobby was off in the morning, so no coffee for people staying I guess you has to pay for the breakfast which I wasn’t going to after all the other experiences there.

This was a poor stay, when we got there they had given our room to someone else (apparently with the same first name) so they left us for 25min in foyer waiting. Then put us in another room, but failed to transfer our breakfasts over, so next morning 20min trying to sort that, paid breakfast for the 3 days then next day they weren't on the system. Just terrible service.
Then the final straw was that they took our towels and did not replace them so had only a handtowel on last day.
So each of these errors by themselves would have been a mistake but together they ruined this break, and I would not recommend this hotel.
Also they do not give you pillows, we had a small cushion each. So the name comfort hotel is misleading.
Its a long way from anything, so need Uber or long walk.

Very disappointing !!! The room we were allocated was not clean . The floor was dirty. The bathroom was not fresh and the beds had not been changed. There was human hair on the bed sheets.We were offered 2 alternative rooms and unfortunately there was hair present on the mattress covers in both of these rooms also.

Budget-friendly hotel

The place is within walking distance of the metro, which is really a plus point. The building and the room have seen better days, but I cannot complain with the price I paid. If you are a traveller and just want somewhere to sleep after a long day of sightseeing in Paris, then this is a budget-friendly hotel. There are towels and toiletries. The bedding seems clean. The pillow is just like a throw pillow and not a proper rectangular shape, but it's fine. There were some policemen around when we visited, but it did not affect our visit. The reception people are also polite and does not mind speaking in English.

I'd only give this property 1 star because the receptionist was kind but the pictures are a total cat fish. Bathroom was full of mold. Dead bug in the sheets. No storage for baggage or clothes. 1 night even feels too much for this place. Happiest day of my vacation was check out!

The malicious service when the room arrived, it had no air conditioning and they did not change until the second day and when they took me to another room, the air worked at half capacity and the toilet was damaged and they never fixed it.

no delight, just frustration. 1 star - avoid!

Stayed 1 night to be close Gare de Lyon. Hotel is NOT in quaint area but is 15 min walk to metro Port d'Ivry M7). If dark/night time I would not walk due to sketchy location of hotel. Pay a bit more and stay elsewhere. Hotel needs to improve:

1) shower did not have a soap dispenser. I had to fill the glass with soap from sink dispenser to take in shower.

2) Hotel clerk did not return my passport at check in & I overlooked taking it back as we were fatigued from travel we arrived at busy check in time. We ordered drinks at lobby bar sat there for an hour, settled bar bill at front desk same clerk who checked us in. Knowing necessity of passport there was NO INTENT to locate us that night to return passport! Hotel clerk could have brought PP to our room once noticed it was left with them! Or at check out when we returned room key, clearly a note not placed to have morning clerk return the passport.

DUE TO SLOPPY CLERK, we had to rearrange our travel. We called hotel from train station & they said PP was in their safe. When we picked up they were apologetic but not sure if they understood this was a MAJOR MISTAKE by their clerk.

3) NO COFFEE IN ROOM. They offer free coffee in lobby however NOT before 10:00am. What's the point? Coffee hour should be 7:00 to 11:00 if they are going to advertise free coffee.

just avoid this poor service place and stay elsewhere.

Booked a double room, checked in around 23:00 and was told they’d sold out of rooms so was put in a twin room, not the end of the day but when we got to the room the toilet was completely blocked. I went down to reception to tell the staff and was told there was no other rooms available. I argued this and eventually the staff member phoned the manager and another twin room became magically available. This room didn’t come with any toilet roll so back down I went. The outside area of our window had used condoms, smashed mirrors and a lonely bottle opener. Although this hotel obviously has its problems, the staff were apologetic and eventually fixed any issues we had.

One bad experience

I’ve been going to this hotel for almost 7 years now. My office is right next door, so the comfort of getting up just a couple of steps away for work is invaluable to me.

This time however the night staff was RUDE at check in, and rude when on my second night I arrived from work, tired and not only was my room not turned down (cleaned up) but my toilet didn’t work. - I went to reception and asked if it was because of Covid, they said... I don’t know but it’s now too late to clean it, I’ll send someone over at 7am... which wasn’t acceptable for me since I had to leave for the airport already at 8:30 and I wanted a full night sleep. When reported to the morning staff at checkout the lady was amazingly apologetic and nice.

It was a nice room, clean, I was on 7th floor. The elevator only goes to 6th floor, so I had one flight of stairs to climb with luggage it was ok would prefer 6th floor and lower. They clean daily and they offer do not disturb sign if you do not wish for daily clean. Restaurant was fine I only had breakfast one morning I stayed for 5 nights it’s not far from the metro or the tram about 3 blocks.

We booked a triple room and the room given to us was at the ground floor not renovated and with a bathroom for disabled. The bathroom was so old with a big window facing the street outside where people passing by can probably see you. It was also hard to take a shower because you have to sit down else the water will splatter all over the floor. The place is good if you're staying only for 1 night which is what we did. It was hard to find a hotel near Paris during that day of our stay that was within our budget. The next day we transferred to another hotel near Gare De Lyon which was so much better. This is not really a hotel. The beds are so near to each other though they are single beds. There was also not much of food choices at the restaurant. The pizza was just a frozen pizza microwaved. The cheese given with the meat selection was also expired.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Location was good, 10 mins walk from the metro. Pretty safe as well, walked back home past midnight for 3-4 days and never experienced anything bad or scary along the way. Staff were awesome especially the guy who helped us check in (April 17, around 6-7pm). The only problem we encountered was that theres only 1 Key per room. Yeah, even if you booked the double or triple room, you’ll have to share a key. And for people who are sensitive to noises this hotel isn’t ideal as the walls are pretty thin (I sleep soundly so this wasn’t a problem for me lol). For the price in Paris on a high season though, it was good.

Great place for a business traveler

This is my hotel of choice when I’m in paris. The staff is always friendly and it’s really close to the metro line 7. - it has recently been renovated and they replaced the tubs by nice showers. My only bad thing is that they no longer let delivery boys up to your room but that’s not so bad that I won’t stay there :-)

Awful hotel. Despite pre booking with hotels.com to pay on arrival this hotel tried to charge us double, argued with us over the confirmation email I had and told me I booked through Expedia not hotels.com.
They wouldn't speak to hotels.com on the phone either and wouldn't answer when hotels.com tried to phone them.
They told us on check in that the price was €82.50 for 2 nights including breakfast, our confirmation email said €78 not including breakfast so we confirmed with the guy behind the counter that was definitely for 2 nights. Told us yes. Paid him, went to our room and had been given a double despite having booked a triple(young son with us). Back to reception and he changed us to a triple but huffed and puffed about it. On checking out he told us we had another €82.50 to pay. You can imagine our surprise, told us we had to pay the second night, who charges by the day especially after we clarified with him on checking in and paying what he asked! 45 mins later eventually after threatening the police the said they would compromise by just charging us for breakfast for 2 days an extra €45. Really annoyed as although our original booking was not including breakfast, we were made to feel we were in the wrong despite having a confirmation email saying the cost of accommodation was €78 and the amount of times we clarified with guy in front desk. Then paying on check in only to discover that was a part payment - who does that???

Great hotel, great deal

I had a great time staying at this hotel. It was easy to find and it wasn't far from the city center. The building was clean, the staff seemed to be very professional and the room was clean. I had a very decent Wi-Fi connection in my room. The bathtub was clean. AC in the room. If I ever get to come back to Paris again, I'd definitely choose any hotel from this company. I didn't get to eat at the hotel as I was running late in the morning before check-out, but I'm pretty sure it would have been nice.
ここはオススメです。建物、部屋、ベッド、トイレとお風呂、全てが綺麗なのに格安のお値段でした。場所も悪くはないです。駅から１０分くらい歩きますが、スーツケースありでも全然大丈夫な距離です。Wi-Fiもちゃんと部屋まで飛んでます。

Nice hotel close to the Metro line 7

If you know how to use the Metro and RER you can reach this hotel by train. It was a bit warm in the room that we got. Some nights cool. The reception was friendly especially the night staff Brigida. Always a smile and ready to help. Cleaning lady too is. Always clean sheets. Bring an adaptor for plugin charger. No microwave or cooler. Can't go wrong with a 10 Euro breakfast. Cheaper than buying outside.

The Hotel is great for locals, not for tourists.

This is a great hotel for locals or business people looking to stay in paris for non tourism related lodging. The Hotel is really far by foot to a subway station or bus stop even. It's far itself from any tourists spots from Paris seeing as the locations nearly outside of Paris itself. The hotel did not have Laundry facilities or a Shuttle to the Airport... odd considering they have a huge restaurant and their located within reasonable driving distance from Ory Paris airport. It was really disappointing that I stayed here my last two days in Paris having made the mistake of not looking into smaller but crucial details such as laundry facilities and how close the subway was to the hotel. As I said... great hotel for locals or business people, not for great for tourists.

Horrible stay!

Our stay at Kyriad was horrific. The room was super tiny and the superchoking air conditioning system...it was heating up the room rather than cooling it down...had to open the windows during the night when we sleep and then extreme noise early in the morning as it was just situated beside the highway.

The worst was the shower. I wasn't able to shower at all with the small water flow. Tried to shower the first time, regulated the water temperature and started my water dripping shower. Took me approximately 1 minute to wet my hair...Then the water suddenly turned extremely hot and burnt my shoulders and head scalp. Regulated again and then it went supercold..then superhot again without even touching the tap. Complained to get the room fixed and was told room fixed in the evening when we got back from the city. The same thing happened that night again and my fiancée experienced burnt skin on her legs and shoulders. That was ROOM 320..staff not even helpful to rectify guest issues...all that was said 'Ohhh, i see..we are Sorry'..the entire piping system in the building needs replacement. Perhaps when someone turns on the tap in the neighbouring room, water flow drops...then it becomes superhot or supercold..I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a pleasant holiday or stay in Paris. For this trip, three words..Stressed Stressed Stressed...!!

Bedroom was ridiculously hot! First night had to \"sleep\" with window open to make room temperature bearable. However, the room looked onto a major highway which never got quiet, so we got a total of 1 hour's sleep. Next morning, went to reception to say that our air con wasn't working - reception staff said they had turned the air con off for the entire hotel as it was winter so only heating was available. Therefore to advertise an air conditioning unit in your room is false advertising. Asked for a fan - they said they'd put one in our room for when we got back. This never happened. Left window wide open all day while we were out to cool the room down, but on closing it to sleep, room was back to unbearably hot within an hour. Very little sleep on this 3 night trip.

Fire alarm went off shortly before midnight on one night - guests were unclear what to do and eventually, we all went down to the lobby to be greeted by a very angry reception staff member shouting in French at the guests and gesturing angrily for everyone to return to their rooms, whilst the alarm was still sounding, which no explanation of what was happening. This lasted approx. 10-15 mins. No apology or explanation.

Little, but important things - could do with an English TV channel, even if only BBC/Sky news! One packet of biscuits for a 2 person room is inadequate. Only supplied with 1 pillow each and 1 spare - should be 2 spares in a 2-person room. Keys are huge and inconvenient to carry around!

The receptionist works very bad!!!

I booked 2 rooms for 4 guests and paid already by credit cards. When 4 guests come and check in. The receptionist told that we only booked 1 room and 4 guests had to wait to ask instead of the staffs of this hotel check very well the information when the guests come.

Today when they check out, the receptionist told that only 1 room has paid, and 1 room not yet paid. Oh my god, the receptionist asked money again. When the guide show her the booking in Vietnamese, she said she did not understand.

I think she can check clearly by the system and why there is a ver big mistake and make us feel very inconvenient and uncomfortable. I think I will book many times for the next times for my clients but I will consider for this.

The hotel is in the edge of city, not too far from metro station, but may not be safe to walk at night. We have a triple room, which doesn't look like the advertising image. It's a single bed and a bunk bed. The bed is narrower than the regular American twin. There's no space to walk around inside the room and we are tiny Asian.

Rooms: Over used rooms lacking of maintenance. Smaller than it appears on photos of the Hotel. Dirty flooring and molds in the shower head.
Restaurant: Only used the Breakfast buffet with average offerings, but good quality.

Reception: Functional

Location: Excellent for tourism arriving with vehicles to Paris. Park your car and enjoy Paris by public transportation only five minutes walk from the Hotel.

Service: Fair respect for sleepers due to Housekeeping staff are talking very loud in the corridors, opening rooms without knocking the door. The Room setup is lacking of wine glasses, fresh towels, shower gel etc. Went to ask in the Restaurant to borrow one and the response was: Its not possible. But after 5 minutes discussion they finally hand me one.
I met two people smiling on our four days staying in the Hotel. The night receptionist and a male worker in the Housekeeping. I find that very rare in a Hotel that you only felt welcomed by two persons.
An average standard of the Hotel (Hardware) mixed with untrained Hotel staff (software) will lead to poor future profits.

Great Location

The hotel is located in the south of the city, very close to the road ring. the subway is about 2 blocks away, which is great. it is surrounded by several restaurants (italian, turkish, greek) and they offer budget menus and some more expensive ones. There is also a bis supermarket about 4 block away, a cheaper alternative for water, fruits and other things. The location is great because is not that crowded like in center, and you can buy in the subway the full-day ticket for less than 3 Euros...

The room area is small for 2 bed room, the hotel location is not good because is on border of paris and far from city center, the breakfast is not included!!? And you have to pay extra for that. But the hotel personels are polite and friendly, hotel is clean.

Horrible hotel, horrible location

In the ghetto, the workers are no help and the rooms look nothing like the picture. DO NOT RECOMMEND. You can't even get a taxi back to the hotel, no taxi driver will even come close to this neighborhood

Clean hotel, relatively close to the center

Clean hotel, about 20 minutes away from the city center. For the price I paid (50$ CAD) per night, it doesn't get cheaper than that in Paris. Nice neighborhood, all the facilities close from the hotel. Just make sure to get off at the Porte d'Ivry metro stop, because if you get out at Ivry sur Seine, a 30 minute walk is waiting for you.

Overall nice and clean hotel, pretty small rooms , but good for night stays. Air conditionning though is a problem. The hotel chooses if you get heating or cooling , so that's a problem. Othet than that, lovely stay, would recommend to all, especially students wanting to visit Paris, without paying the astronomic prices.

Hotel did what it states! Staff generally helpful but the bar and restaurant was a drama as it was always closed and no staff available! Location is okay, area not the best, nowhere to get food or drink nearby you will need to go to the centre of Paris! Taxi from les Mairais is about €15
