This hotel is perfectly located—just steps away from all the major sights and attractions. It backs onto a charming square filled with shops, restaurants, and cafes, and it's right next to the historic City Hall, giving you that authentic Cologne atmosphere right outside your door.
Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable—exactly what you want after a long day of sightseeing. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible staff. We had the pleasure of interacting with Francisco and Kai, both of whom went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their customer service was outstanding—no request was too much, and they always greeted us with a smile.
Breakfast was another highlight! A great spread overall, but the made-to-order omelettes were especially delicious and worth waking up for.
All in all, this hotel was a perfect home base for our time in Cologne. Highly recommend, and we would absolutely stay here again!

What a truly exceptional hotel! You can tell what pride the staff take in making their guests feel welcomed and comfortable. Francisco especially went out of his way to give recommendations and help with all aspects of my stay. Great location, an easy 5-minute walk to the main train station and cathedral (thanks to clear instructions provided by the hotel in advance). The rooms are cozy, very clean, and very comfortable. And the breakfast buffet is the best I had on my multi-city trip! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fabulous boutique hotel situated near thevCologne Cahedral and very close to the Rhine River. Their breakfast is very varied and delicious! They cater to all types of travelers with different dietary needs. Any time they help tourists with directions and suggestions that are unique and great!

This was a lovely hotel in a great location. Easily walkable to anything you’d want to see in Cologne. The staff was absolutely amazing. Francisco and Kai were friendly and attentive. My family and I traveled throughout Germany this vacation, visiting 8 cities and my stepson declared Cologne to be his favorite stop - no doubt due to Francisco and Kai. We can’t wait to return!

This is such a wonderful hotel! Ingmar and Andy were so wonderful and welcoming! They really go out of their way to make your comfortable here, and Ingmar was so helpful with his tips. I was only able to stay in Cologne for one night, but I wish I could've stayed longer. There's a lovely breakfast offered, and I feel like this hotel makes a sincere effort at providing attention to personalized customer service! Location, service, comfort; this hotel has it all!

The staff were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were invited to their social hour which included free drinks and Christmas biscuits. The room was excellent and had a kettle, which is unusual in Europe. We also had a fridge. Just around the corner from the nearest Christmas market, and just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was excellent.

The only negative is that there is no elevator. They will help with the luggage but it will be difficult with someone with mobility issues.

We were treated like members of the family throughout our stay, from the initial arrival instructions through to helping us with a query about our return train time on the last morning.
Rooms are large by city centre standards, with loads of extras. You can do your bit for the planet by opting to reduce the cleaning routine or by extending the life of your
towels. There is loads of choice for breakfast, with some items cooked to order. We were there for 4 nights, so it was great that the breakfast varied a little from day to day.
The hotel is very close to the station and many museums and other attractions. There are loads of restaurants and cafés in the same area.

This hotel is absolutely perfect for a stay in Cologne. Turn left out of the hotel and walk 20 yards to steps that lead down the side of the Rathaus and into the AltMarket..
Turn right out of the hotel and you are at the Dom in just a few minutes.

Comfortable, modern, and spacious room with modern amenities right in the heart of Cologne. The breakfast was great and thanks. We were well taken care of by Clara and Kai. They were both so friendly and helpful.
The only negatives was we were on the top floor with no elevator. Also we had a loft suite and were comfortable on the main floor with great AC but it did not reach the loft suite upstairs.

I had a lovely time staying here, very close to the Central station and the Cathedral, lots of shopping, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast was amazing, the staff are very friendly. My room was bright, spacious and cheerful, I could see the Cathedral from the window. The church bells chiming in the night was very calming and peaceful. I would love to stay here again.

We loved the location - centrally located near the cathedral, Rhine, and many restaurants, shops, and pedestrian areas. It was an easy walk of about 10 min from the train station. We stayed 4 nights in the junior suite. The location was around 5 minute walk to the main train station and minutes away from a couple of Christmas markets. The room was clean and comfortable. Our suite had a tub and shower and the bathroom was a very good size. The mezzanine was perfect for our 6 year old son and the view is superb. The breakfast buffet was what I was looking forward to and it did not disappoint! The staff cooked scrambled eggs for us if we didn’t want the boiled eggs. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Ingmar and Andy took the time to interact with us and our 6 year old son looks forward every night to coming back to the hotel to look for Ingmar and Andy. They seemed like our long lost friends! We would love to stay here again next time we visit Cologne!

We finished a Rhine River cruise in Cologne and stayed one night prior to moving on to Frankfurt. This is a very basic hostel like accommodation, located in an excellent area- heart of cologne. But a few issues - no lift, limited time of front desk (so if u reach in the evng after 6pm then it’s a bit diff), no parking at all in front of the hotel (I had cops shout at me for stopping my car (for around 3 to 4 mins) to load my bags)..

Stunning large room and big, comfy bed. A little noisy, but very central so to be expected. No lift, which may be an issue for some as all rooms are up at least one flight of stairs. Literally a gem of a hotel hidden in a relatively quiet corner but right in the centre of Cologne, close to everything. Clean, spacious, modern, comfortable rooms in a small hotel that are even better in real life than the already impressive photos on websites. Very friendly and helpful staff that look out for you before your arrival and during your stay. Plenty of delicious breakfast included.
