A reasonably spacious, clean room with air conditioning that works properly and quickly, and nice, helpful staff. It’s much better than Edinburgh’s easyHotel.

You won’t get many amenities in the room except a private bathroom. There is also very little space to put things — no tables and not many hangers. But overall, it’s an absolutely good hotel in the city centre for a reasonable price.

I was given a basement room. No windows, no natural light, no natural fresh air.
The mattress was upside down, and when I put it the right way up I found terrible stains on both sides of the mattress.
The air conditioning would only reduce to 19° making the room incredibly warm and stuffy.
No tea and coffee facilities provided, you had to go back to reception to get a drink. I paid for 2 nights but could not stay the second night so checked out and went home.
Staff at reception were friendly though and this very poor review has no reflection on them.
Not only will I never book in again, but will never recommend Easy Hotel

The rooms were tiny and not really suitable for two people. The windows didn’t open, and there were major long term building works next door, which I appreciate isn’t the hotel’s fault. However, a warning before booking would have been helpful.

Room was very small. Could have used a couple of coat hooks and a small fold out stool for my case.
Got a nasty shock very early one morning when getting out of bed to find the room flooded.
Staff did move me to a dry room but not what I really want to be doing at 5am.
Other than that bed was clean and comfy, shower worked and water was hot.
Close to a convenience store open until 11pm and good bus service close by as well.

Window didn’t open, room was stuffy so my partner couldn’t sleep, even with the air con on. Bathroom door was basically see through and had massive gaps at the side like an American public toilet. One towel provided for 2 guests. Cleaner opened the door whilst knocking even tho we had late check out (why bother knocking if you’re just going to open it anyway straight away?) and then knocked on twice more before late check out was finished. They also incentive you by giving you free late check out ( usually £20) if you leave a review - which they asked us to do upon arrival and before even sleeping in the room. Get what you pay for i guess but do not recommend. Pay a bit extra to have a decent and uninterrupted night sleep 👍

Hotel was very basic but comfortable. If you have claustrophobia this is not the place for you. The rooms are very small as is the bathroom. No drink making facilities. Whilst the hotel is central this means that the outside noise does cause a disturbance throughout the night.

Hotel staff were excellent. On request they provided hair dryer/ extra pillows and towels. A cheaper hotel ideal for.a one night stay.

A nice short stay hotel, very convenient place to be able to get to the city centre!
The room was okay, bed was comfortable and the black out curtains were good. Only thing was the bathroom had a strange smell to it, but a bit of air freshener and it was fine after that!
Also we had to ask for an extra towel, I know that pedantic, but the booking was for two people but only one towel was there in the room upon check in!

But yeah apart from those minor things, the hotel was convenient for a short stay in Cardiff

Only niggle was air conditioning control, an instruction card would help, one night too cold, another a little too warm. Would be ideal for parent uni trip stay, but sadly not my offspring uni town.

I took a windowless room (which is in the basement). It's great room...for a single night. The fact that you are in a basement with no sunlight would make it difficult to stay longer.

The room was £90 for a mid week stay in Cardiff, for myself and my 9 year old daughter.
There was only one towel for the two of us. The room was small. One pillow each and the shower didn’t work properly. The only amenitie in the room other than the en-suite shower was the tv. No hairdryer or any other facilities available.
The room was clean, although some damage to the walls.
Checking in was easy and checkout was quick and straightforward, staff were friendly.
The bed was comfortable, however, I didn’t sleep well as could hear people returning to their rooms and leaving.

The room was very clean, only it was impossible to open the window to let some air in. There was no bed site table and so we had to keep our belongings on the floor. The room was very small. The reception service was very good and friendly, they answered our requests.. the location of the hotel is very good too, specially with car park deal with ncp Dumfries. All in all, it was very good value for money, however there was enough space for a bedside table so would be good to have at least one... A window that opens up would be really good too

We did not stay we checked straight out. The room was so small we could not move around. There was no coffee or tea facilities in the room nothing in that manner. We booked for two people but there was only one towel. I went to ask if we checked out straight away would I be able to get a refund for the second night it was just a straight no.,the staff member asked why we was unhappy and I said about the size of the room and that there was not even coat hooks so everything was on the floor his reply was it's a budget hotel well so is the Premier Inn and most others but you have room, these hotels are OK for one night back parking stays or single work night stays, so you would be better off advertising it as this. Sorry for the bad review but yes my two night stay was a ten minute stay

Tiny room with tiny bed. No tea or coffee in the room or hairdryer. Overpriced due to concerts happening within the area, usually £65 and charging £180! The staff were lovely and welcoming however and the room was impeccably clean as was the bathroom.
