Came for a business trip. The whole building was under renovation. Dust everywhere. All rooms were freshly painted and it was a strong smell of paint inside of the room. No substitute room was offered, no refund,.. We were just told to call customer service

We were there while the lobby was being renovated. I assume the rooms will follow, and that's good, because the one we were in was dated, and the bathroom desperately needs a remodel from the studs out. But the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet. That's all we needed. The gentleman who checked us in was awesome.

Shower had mold and mildew in the grout and faucet leaked. Wallpaper was peeling off walls in the room. Most of the hotel is under construction, which is not mentioned when booking. On the second floor, there seemed to be no heat in the hallway which smelled like weed, and the HVAC unit in room required constant adjustment. There temperature setting on the unit was basically worthless. Maybe it will be better when construction is finished, but I would not recommended staying there as it exists currently.

The hotel is under construction but the floor I was staying on was not. It was dirty and smelled of marijuana. Garbage in the hall and carpets throughout were dirty. Staff was nice. Bed was comfortable even though the room was old and needs updating. The breakfast was standard fare, nothing to get excited about. I would say pass on this hotel.

The beds felt like i had moved in with the Flintstones. Felt like i was laying on bedrock. One bed supposed to be soft and one firm, but both are like sleeping on the floor. It took forever to get my deposit back. I wont be staying there anymore, advise you not too.

Property and stay was okay. I understand they were under construction in some areas of the Hotel. But when I entered my Hotel room. I kept hearing a beep as if I was in the Hospital. After looking and looking, I found an additional smoke alarm under the mattress along with items you would use for narcotic use. I called the front desk to explain what had happened and what I had found. I then took it downstairs and no one seemed bothered about the situation. No apology, no change of room recommendation or credit. My son and I ended up sleeping on the floor as we did not feel safe to sleep on the bed.

Good lord DO NOT STAY HERE. Our bath tub was full of mold and the hotel smelled like weed and cigarettes. Our tub would not drain so I tried to switch the room, got switched to a room that was DIRTY. The bed was not made and it looked like someone was staying there. They did not have another room so I got a refund. Never ever again.

I should've paid closer attention to the reviews of this hotel before booking my stay because it was truly so dirty and old. I do not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. I asked to have my room changed initially because the original room smelled like cigarettes and was in terrible condition, but the second room was exactly the same, not to mention the mold in the bathroom. It felt dirty, full of germs, and I just could not imagine myself sleeping or even showering in a room with those conditions. I left the moment I saw my room and quickly booked myself a different hotel.

I'm truly shocked they can advertise this property as 3 Stars. The exterior of the hotel is completely unbranded and bathed in an uninviting blue/grey color. The lobby was a nice surprise, but that was the extent of anything nice here. Our room had an odor to it, overlooked the dumpster, the walls were completely ruined, and the bathroom was quite dirty with hair and mildew on the shower wall. The smoke detector was chirping when we walked in, so we called maintenance who informed us he hopes nothing breaks in the hotel because he uses YouTube to fix everything. When I took a shower, the water went ice cold four times (assuming it was somehow connected to the toilet in a neighboring room), and the shower leaked through the bedsheet of a curtain and soaked the bathroom floor, including the clothes I had laid out to wear. The maintenance manager was quite nice (despite not being qualified for the position), but the property manager offered no response to our concerns. I am not a diva and wouldn't have complained about these items if the property was advertised correctly as a 1 or 2 Star hotel. But I cannot fathom how this can legally be listed as 3 Stars.

It was a sticky stain on the floor. The door that leads to outside doesn't latch or lock so anyone can come in and out at any point in time..

The shower head is positioned to spray against the back wall which makes water get all over the floor as well as making it difficult to take a proper shower..

The people working there were really nice though. They're just trying to do their job and they can't help that the owner doesn't take better care of his facilities..

The door latch not functioning is an extreme safety hazard.

Although the property is in the process of being upgraded, the room felt grimy and several items were damaged. I book a room with queen beds but they only had full beds. There was lots of noise in the hallway and the elevator felt as if it were going to crash. It showed it was inspected May 2025, but it seemed that repair was warranted. The stair were on the outside of the building with no keyed entry so anyone could walk in onto the floors and if you wanted to take the stairs rather than the elevator you walked outside.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Within five minutes of checking in, I found a roach on the wall behind a picture frame. The room was not clean, and the ceiling had signs of a leak that was never properly fixed. The overall appearance was old, dirty, and unappealing. It felt nasty, and I didn’t feel comfortable staying there, so I left shortly after arriving. The only positive part of my experience was that the man at the front desk was very nice and professional. I would not recommend this hotel.

The bathroom needs a lot of work. The toilet rocked every time I sat down, the tub wasn't clean enough to take a bath in, and the wallpaper was peeling. I had to clean around the sink before we used it. The shower faucets needed some manipulation to turn on and off. We could hear the music playing in the lobby all night, but it wasn't loud enough to keep me awake. The staff was good and the breakfast was great.

Not as pictured. Really run down place. Old blood stains on my linens when I looked under the covers. Black stains on shower corners. Table lamp light \"worked\" but light bulb was literally hanging sideways. I locked my door when going to bed since I felt a bit unsafe, I woke up and my door was unlocked.. glad I had the safety lock up top in use too. Every time I would scan my card once to get into my room, I would have to go to front desk for them to re-register my card for it to work again. Mattress is rock hard and I'm not a picky sleeper. The 7.3 rating when I booked was incredible misleading.. but it explains why the place is so \"affordable\".

I left after one day stay even though I paid for two nights. I didn't complain to front desk.. they have signs everywhere addressing some of these issues and plenty of other bad reviews to understand what needs to be fixed. They just don't care. Really nice front desk.. just terrible owners/management

First the building was being renovated. They had all the old beds and trash thrown in the back of the building on the floor. The Spanish staff that work there asked me every day that they saw me if I was a guest there mind you they didn’t ask any other guest.

The staff here were nice, but the pictures look better than the facility itself. Once I arrived, the outside of the facility was very old and outdated, and once I got inside even more, so my room was clean, again. It just looked very old. I did not have any problems with staffing or anyone there as far as the ambience go. It just wasn’t up to my standards. I personally would not go back.

Our stay was so so...the toilet seat was wiggly, the bathroom door had one hinge, several issued keys had to be reset, noice in hallway at 1:30 AM and a girl showed up on our last day with a sheet wrapped around her to reception. She said all of her clothes were taken!!! I gave her some of mine. Other than that the young lady who works breakfast was excellent.

There was a stain on the sheet. The shower was broken. Our room was located next to outside stairs. People would go outside at all times and smoke weed and cigarettes then the smoke would fill our room.

I like coming here, it’s affordable, staff are nice and helpful, only few things is the TVs, I hope they change the TVs to smart TVs with apps because it’s a hassle bringing my console and getting everything to work right and I wish I had the ability to use tap to pay because I had a little hassle because one of my cards were disabled so I had to wait for help because they didn’t accept pay but other than that I enjoy my stay everytime

It was horrible… you get what you pay for, and less… Water pressure was so bad, that we had to take cold showers. The black-out curtains were rotten so a lot of sun passthrough them. The whole hotel smelled like weed. The AC unit in the room was so noisy and loud. The elevator broke twice while we were there. Horrible experience…

The locations is great, it has breakfast included and Miss Carmen is super nice and helpful. The front desk is always there, they are nice and attentive. The only issue is the water, is super unstable pressure for the hot water if any, there was a few times when there was not working. Also the elevador is kinda scary since no light working on the board because of “maintenance”.

The front desk associates weren’t friendly. I was only greeted warmly by housekeeping as I was leaving the facility, which was as disappointing as my room (needs updating and the carpet deep cleaned). Had I not already prepaid for my room, I would’ve canceled and stayed elsewhere. My sleep was amazing, but the overall presentation left much to be desired.

The staff was nice and breakfast was good. It was typical breakfast -waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, bread. However, the elevator buttons didn’t work. It just stopped at each floor. Also, one of the bathrooms (we had 2 rooms) had a very slow filling toilet. You only had 1 flush and had to wait an hour for the tank to fill again. The other room didn’t have the toilet issues. Rooms were cleaned and when we needed extra bedding for a pullout couch bed, it was given.

The hotel was overall okay. It’s older, water pressure isn’t the greatest in the shower. Our floor also has the aroma of weed throughout.

Overall the area where the property was at was close to some malls you can do walking distance. Hotel is good for a quick stay. But some maintenance needs to be done In hotel. I had a friend stay the night and they ended up getting sinus congestion because rooms didn’t have cleanliness to vacuum nor sirculation of air and the smell from the air conditioner. So some things need to be fix.

Where to begin, the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. There was so little hot water you couldn't turn on the cold water. The bed was hard and the mattress had stains ( I always check for bed bugs) even the pillows were hard. The pictures for the breakfast buffet are definitely not what you get. The only good thing I can say is that the refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot worked. Very disappointed!

My toilet barely flushed, and my shower at one point completely stopped putting water out , and kept going from cold to extremely hot. I paid extra to get what what’s a better hotel and it was dirty. There was trash in the stairwells and the elevator made the scariest sound. I would not go back.

We arrived at the hotel at 6;15, and they had no record of our reservation. They said all the rooms were already booked (I had failed to bring my printed confirmation). Then they found my name and said it had been canceled. We were already late for our grandson's graduation, so we had to book and pay for another room.The room was adequate, though musty-smelling. The location and the breakfast were great. But someone needs to be held accountable for giving our room away!

They definitely need to do some updating. In my room paint is peeling from the ceiling, tub has mold, and tub dripping. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable. If you don’t mind some of the things I wrote it wasn’t a bad experience.

I checked the reviews before booking—this place had great rating, and I figured we could manage a short night in an older hotel. Big mistake.
While North Carolina’s roads are beautiful, the hotel’s parking lot was had potholes, trash on the ground, and overflowing garbage bins. Several homeless scattered around the parking lot which made the area feel unsafe with my daughter.
Inside, the smell of marijuana. The elevator had some issues, the sheets looked old and worn. The only other access out of the hotels was via outdoor stairs, which had several blind spots—and one had a homeless person. Really!
We stayed in the room for a short time left at night, rushing to our car and booking a different hotel. Never again.

The hotel photos on the website were old. I was placed in an adjoining room as solo traveler on the 1st floor. The desk attendant announced my room number while some stranger stood behind me. I did not feel safe. The room was dirty - carpet stains, sagging bed, desk chair had stains. I sat on a bath towel to keep from getting dirty. I did not stay there, I searched for a new hotel and checked out.

place needs considerable improvement with many things broken or in degraded condition yet with the right timely renovations it could become a success. currently they are allowing transient type folks or use of substances to reside their whether short or long term and should immediately start being choosier about whom they rent to period. bad characters will turn off decent customers and nobody wants to see the cops have to respond to losers at this hotel causing mayhem. attract business and family clients not grungy people who will cause property damage
