Our time at Brewsters couldn't have been better. During our stay the staff accommodated our every need without issue. The rooms were well maintained and offered a rustic and comfortable environment which matched the natural surroundings of Banff.

I would happily go back again!

There were road closures during our stay so we had to go through an alternative entrance. Luckily there was someone there to guide us to the hotel which was helpful.

The breakfast overall was good, always something new everyday. I will say I'm a little particular how I like my eggs. The first morning I came down for breakfast and I had their scrambled eggs, it was a bit dry; not sure if it was because it was cooked too long, or it was being cooked still while it was in the buffet area but it was not a favorite of mine.

Our room was cleaned and well-maintained. I guess one downside is the exhaust in our room (237) was not functional, and seems to not be working for a while. The shower curtain if possible could also be replaced. It had a bit of a smell when I first used the shower so hopefully it gets replaced by then.

Some of the towels tend to fray after each use, the fabric can get stuck on my skin. Either you can get your towels replaced often instead of using the same one, or in the long future invest in more durable ones.

Overall customer service was great, rooms were cleaned in a timely manner, and breakfast had moderate options!

This lodge was centrally located to within walking distance of nearly everything. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. The only negative I have is the construction going on made it difficult to get to the parking garage and lobby entrance. Otherwise it was perfect!

Dated, eye sored property- don’t go after the posted photos by hotels, not worth paying those mega bucks. Tastelessly decored neither modern nor country. Depressing experience in very upbeat surroundings. Breakfast was usual. Staff was helpful. Would stay again.

Free breakfast was decent, staff worked hard to keep place tidy. Plenty of underground parking spaces. Enjoyed the rustic feel of the lodge.
The best feature of this place is its central location. Everywhere in Banff is an easy walk. The front desk are likewise admirable for their helpfulness and politeness, especially Hanna! Thank you for the room upgrade :)
The area I recommend to improve is to have AC in each room, just like they have it in the hallways. Or at least clearly disclose that there are none available in the rooms. We managed the heat by running 2 fans and keeping windows open. I can’t imagine how summer days would feel like. One guest was berating a front desk person due to the lack of room AC. She remained calm and was apologetic, not her fault of course, but I felt bad for her. Hopefully management considers this to avoid those encounters.
Coin operated laundry machines are available.
Overall we would stay again, probably not during warm season.
Due to the “heating” feedback, we were given a “parking” perk, that was a very kind gesture.
Thank you again, we enjoyed our stay.

The property does not have AC unit in each room and only has standing room fans. Granted that the weather in Banff is mostly in the 50's/60's/70's at the time of our stay, it would still be nice to not have to open the window, if you have allergies. There's also hardscaping being completed and plenty of dust so we can't open the windows in the daytime.
The bathtub is very clean but could use fresh looking shower curtains without the rust or brown colored dirt on the bottom seam of the curtain.
The staff is very nice and helpful.
Breakfast is also nice and the staff there works hard to keep the buffet stocked and tables wiped clean for the next diner. Restaurants are expensive in Banff so this is nice to be included in the room rate.
We love the location of this hotel because it's right in the downtown district and centrally located. Restaurants are just a few steps away and a few minutes walk to the shopping mall with a food court, if you prefer not to eat at restaurants. It's also walking distance to Central Park and museums, the Roam transit hub that anyone can take to go see the sights in Banff. It's easy, inexpensive and better than paying for guided tours.

I had the best time at Brewster Mountain. I have Celiac Disease and I was anxious about food and safe food accessibility. But I was impressed with the knowledge of the staff and their willingness to accommodate without bother or worry. There was a lady who went through all of my options and made sure all protocol was followed. The rooms were sparkly clean. Not a single spare hair left by the cleaners or a speck of dust. The only thing I would change, that they have no control over, was that our rooms floor was very squeaky. You couldn’t walk two steps without making loud sounds. The room was a bit hot, but when we opened the door that helped.

We stayed at Brewster Mountain Lodge for 2 nights in May. They allowed us to check in early just before noon as our room was ready. Check in was a breeze and counter staff were efficient and helpful with suggestions on where to dine or go for a hike. The counter was also stocked with wrapped snacks, such as chocolate banana bread and sausage and cheese pastry. Parking is available in their underground carpark for $13 per night with unlimited entry/exit but note that parking in some lots might be tight. The road on one side of the hotel is under construction and was dusty. Our room was nicely furnished with rustic log furniture, a mini-fridge, 2 fans (there’s no air-conditioning in summer), coffeemaker and an electric kettle, but no microwave. Complementary hot and cold breakfast included a range of food – sausages, beef balls, pastries, breads, jams & butter, cheese slices, several cereals, cooked oats, fruits (bananas, apples), and hardboiled eggs.

The room was very stuffy as there was no AC. Got very warm in the evenings.
No one came to clean our room during our 4 night stay and we even posted the sign on our door. Had to collect our own clean towels. Parking is very snug. Would have liked bikes offered to borrow for guests.
Very convenient to outdoor trails and downtown shops and restaurants.

Fantastic. It's the perfect mountain ski lodge for normal people. Staff jumps to please you. Great breakfast. Great location. Reasonably priced. The history of Banff is all over the photos on every wall. It's like staying overnight at the museum but as comfortable and homey as your grandparents cabin. Loved it.

The hotel is super cute and right in the center of town. I was worried about traffic noise (there's construction right outside) but they must have good windows because it was quiet. Breakfast is pretty good, a plus is that they use actual dishes, not creating lots of garbage. Overall a lovely stay, we'd come back.
One thing to note is that the hotel parking is limited to vehicles under 6'5\", but we were able to have our truck next door in a different garage that's up to 7'6\", for free until 8am.
Have a national park pass in your vehicle!

We had the best stay at Brewster Mountain Lodge. The staff were helpful, kind and welcoming. The breakfast included in the stay had lots of options including gluten free! Even with construction happening outside the lodge was clean and quiet. We are fortunate to be upgraded to a suite with a balcony. This was a lovely room with a fantastic view of the street and mountains. The downtown location was ideal and we were able to walk and use the busses anywhere in the vicinity. You won’t be disappointed with Brewster Mountain Lodge.

Our overall stay was great! My family and I were pleased. It was so wonderful to be greeted with smiles and enthusiasm each day!
Down side-- When we were ready to get our room clean, we were disappointed when we got back from our day trip. The way I left the towel I used that morning was still on the bed exact same position untouched. Garbages were picked up, soaps were refilled, the tip my husband left for the environmental service was taken BUT nothing else was done! Floor towel was on the floor, bathroom floor was not swept and towels weren't changed nor replaced!

Wow on a adoré, c'est magnifiquement bien situé, on peut faire plein de choses à pied, proche des autobus à 2$, proche des navettes pour station de ski. Le personnel est super gentil. I requested an upgraded balcony room, which was far from an upgrade (paid extra for as well), paid for guaranteed parking (spaces so small and very limited parking barely able to utilize). There was construction all down the street so the main entry to the hotel was not accessible by vehicle, which made figuring out how to check in at night and how to get to the parking garage a significant challenge (this construction was not posted on Expedia or the hotel website). During my 4 night stay, no sleep was to be had between extremely thin walls, being “upgraded” directly across from the only ice machine and vending machine on the floor, 2 doors down from the elevator, and directly down the hall from the games room, which was supposed to be shut down by 9pm (was not had to call hotel staff close to 10pm so I could try and sleep). Kids were running up and down the hall all day (I know the hotel cannot manage others children). While in the sauna, children were running around the fitness room and peering into the sauna making comments, this made for an extremely uncomfortable experience. Mind you there were cameras in the fitness facility so staff should have managed this better. As well as shutting down the games room at 9pm as advertised. While housekeeping staff kept my room immaculate and the hotel is in a desirable location, I will never return.

Construction right outside our room that started at 8am, room 220 is right next to the evelator. The noice was horrible if your trying to sleep. No discount due to the construction. I was told its not related. I asked about the parking and also told the construction was not related.
The breakfast is in a room in the parking garage. Dont like amelling that before eating or right after.

The hotel was great as always but trying to navigate around the street closure to get to it was challenging.
I had a spacious suite with a jacuzzi tub on the 3rd floor which was very comfortable.
Breakfast options were plentiful and underground parking was easy.
Everything was within easy walking distance - happy hour at the Magpie & Stump is just across the street - provided you can tolerate the lack of spatial awareness exhibited by 90% of the people making their way around town on foot.
This was my second time staying at BML and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, but housekeeping only came to clean the room until 4PM when we were already back from the ski hill. Parking is quite terrible. Not enough parking in the parkade for guests, and the road is ripped up outside the hotel so had to park far away. For the lack of parking apparent skeleton cleaning staff I would have expected to pay much less.

A centrally located, rustic yet comfortable place to stay in Banff. Vintage photos depicting the history of its namesake. The lobby always had infused water available in a dispenser. In the afternoon, little snacks are located on the reception counter.

The room was cozy and clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom could use a new shower curtain but overall still fine.

The breakfast provided made a huge difference for those of us on ski trips. Not having to prepare or think about a meal is important because it saves time. Is it gourmet? No. Is it sufficient? Yes. Cereals, toast, bagels, pastries, etc. They even changed up the hot foods every 3 days with eggs in different ways, sausages, peameal bacon, etc. in the cold section, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, oranges, mixed frozen fruit, and yogurt. Juices, milk, tea, and coffee to drink and so many condiments to mix and match.

Keep in mind parking charges are 2 tiered. One for reserved parking $25 per day or unreserved at $18 a day. The ceiling is quite low so the height of your car should be considered.

Like come on meatballs for breakfast? I gave you a 5 star cause i dont think any business or establishment should be below cause of my own personal preference. I do think it could be better.

While not a luxury hotel, it is a good location and met our needs. It feels a bit dated, but for a family ski trip it was perfect for us. I will say the ski locker is a bit onerous relative to other places I have stayed, but ultimately not that big of a deal. The included breakfast was decent and was a nice plus.

The continental breakfast was amazing! The front lobby and desk had treats every time we passed through including make your own Smores. Rooms were spotless and the layout is definitely unique. The only downside is an additional parking charge of up to $25 a night, and no hot tub after a day of skiing.

We had a great stay at the Brewster Mountain Lodge, with its rustic charm, woodwork, and western accents. The location is excellent, right in the center of Banff and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. We booked two rooms for our family, and they were spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the beds were especially good after a long drive and day outdoors. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the included continental breakfast was a nice bonus. Overall, a solid, comfortable place to stay. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to others.
