The room is so dusty, dark, very old appliances and tv(not even smart tv) and it smells old and smoky. Also the carpet is so old and dirty, not enough kitchen utensils and bathroom stuff, we woke up in the morning the whole room covered with black dust who knows where it’s coming from. When we moved the curtain, it’s dust all over and it feels stiff as if the curtain was never moved for a long time. It’s just horrible, not worth it. Not to mention that the reservation agent tried to scam us by charging us for more that what is listed on the website. Also the outdoor pool is not as good as what’s in the photo. Don’t believe that photos in the listing, it is definitely a lot worse than the actual. I can’t even walk with my naked feet in the carpet in the room coz of how dirty it is. When we tried to use the fire, we Donny even have decent match to light it up so we have to ask the maintenance guy and when the guy came in,he didn’t even remove his shoes probably coz they all know that the space is not clean anyway. Thanks no thanks, not coming back here again.

This property is special, beautiful views and hospitality is high from the staff, but the individual rooms are pretty run down and years behind on upkeep.

You’ll see animals on-property, so there are trades to be made on accommodations, but it’s close to town and busses are easy out front.

My family enjoyed our stay at Hidden Ridge Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable for all of us, and we enjoyed the s’mores kit provided. Walkable to town or the resort provides free bus/transit passes to town. You can also borrow bear spray during your stay.

I stayed for a couple of nights with my teenage son. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and generally comfortable. One issue we encountered was with the room keys, which were extremely sensitive. Even brief proximity to a mobile phone seemed to deactivate them, requiring reprogramming at the front desk. We had to return to have our keys reset two or three times during our stay.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, only one employee was working during the peak check-in period, which resulted in some delays. Despite being busy, she remained friendly, answered all of our questions, and provided helpful information about the property.

While the rooms were attractive and comfortable, they are beginning to show their age and some signs of wear. A renovation or at least a more thorough deep cleaning (specifically in the bathrooms) would improve the overall experience. That said, this was not a major concern, as the beds were comfortable and the linens were clean.

The outdoor BBQs are a nice amenity and we enjoyed having access to it. However, none of the grill starters were functioning, so we had to rely on the small matchbook provided for the fireplace to get the BBQ started.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The property offers spacious accommodations and friendly service, but improvements to room maintenance, key card reliability, and staffing during busy periods would make for a much better guest experience.

The professionalism and warm welcome from the staff were outstanding. Cristobal provided excellent service, and together with Dan, the manager, handled an incident we experienced quickly and professionally. Their prompt response and attention to detail made a difficult situation much easier for us.

Great location with a easy downhill walk into town. Free included bus pass lets you easily access Banff and stops right at the resort.
Rooms were as described. Comfy beds, lots of space. They could use a bit of updating- but were more than functional for what we needed.
Parking was either outside or underground-which was lovely with the unexpected snow.
The resort looked out onto the beautiful mountainside. And close to tunnel mountain hiking trail.
Check-in was easy, quick and excellent.
Would recommend others to stay here and would stay again.

It was our second time staying at this hotel, and the main reason we booked again was because of the amazing hot tub. Unfortunately, this time the experience was very disappointing. The hot tub was extremely crowded, with both children and adults being very loud, so it was nothing like the relaxing environment you would expect from a hotel spa area. Children were constantly playing and jumping around, making it impossible to relax.

We decided to leave and come back early the next morning hoping to enjoy it in peace, but the hot tub was closed for maintenance and only the pool was open. The pool water was too cold for us, so we couldn’t use that either. As a result, we were not able to enjoy the hot tub at all during our stay, which was disappointing.

My wife and I spent a night at this resort and our stay was generally comfortable. However, when we walked into our room, we were met with an ozone generator blasting out toxic ozone gas. Within minutes I was coughing and barely able to breathe. This is a very serious matter and a major health risk. As per regulations, an ozone generator can only be used when people are not present. Even then, it takes about two hours to air out the gas. I immediately complained to the front desk. Thankfully, the staff were cooperative and offered us a new room. They also compensated us with a 30% discount.

The hot tub, as always, was absolutely gorgeous.
Parking is a nightmare for a larger vehicle- we had to do laps of the lot before finding a spot, which was completely opposite side of our unit; with 5 young kids, this was a nightmare. Parking never improved over our 2 night stay and room numbered stalls would be extremely helpful. Our room was mediocre, clean but outdated- two lamps were missing switches, the dishwasher wouldn’t complete a cycle and the bathroom door was faulty. Nothing so severe it ruined our trip, but things we assumed wouldn’t be an issue when paying the high costs.

Parking was a nightmare. There are not many parking spaces and guests had to park on the sidewalks but were blocking cars from being able to get out. It was a free for all. The hot tub was packed during the entire stay (morning, daytime, and nighttime) with groups of partiers. Management did nothing about the parking or the hot tub. The unit is older but well-equipped. When booking for 4 guests, the website did not indicate that everyone was staying in the same bedroom. Poor value for the money spent.

The hotel has everything you need. They need to make sure that the one single hot tub can accommodate the adults and not be over run and overcrowded with children and families. This hot tub area could easily be expanded by changing the four adjacent cold plunge tubs back into hot tubs. You don’t need 1 hot tub and 4 cold plunge areas at a ski resort.

The front desk staff were amazing. We had a small issue with the flute on our fireplace not closing, they were quick to fix it, and even sent over some treats as a little sorry for the inconvenience. The property and hot tub were clean and everyone was very friendly. I was only in town for one night looking at accommodations and reception venues for my wedding next year. And will definitely be suggesting hidden ridge as an option to my guests.

We mostly enjoyed our stay. However after a long day of skiing we were looking forward to a hot tub. When we arrived it was completely full and we had to wait for an hour to enter. Each time we tried to go to the hot tub we had to wait until a space became available.
Our other concern was the amount of smoke in our condo. Our neighbors had a fire and it seemed that all of the smoke from their fire came into our room. It was so thick you could see it in the air. We also had to wash all of our clothes when we got home because they smelled like we were camping!

We made the best of it, but it was one let down after another. We have been coming here for 15 years, and it’s never been a luxury getaway. But it’s so rundown now I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Unless you’re 20 and going to party with 10 people in your room like the suite on top of us.

The hottub is their money maker, and it was freezing, the sauna was very cold as well, too cold to sit in. The pool was filled with debris from the wind the day before. Quite a few people complained about this and the answer was always “maintenance has been called”.

Went inside for a hot chocolate, only the find there was no water, no problem, asked for the young Asian lady working behind the counter to fill it up for us. She came back with a carafe filled with lukewarm tap water. Awesome. 0/10 for effort.

The unit was EXTREMELY RUNDOWN and FILTHY. It has not been vacuumed, hair and dirt all over the floors, the walls looked scary they were so dirty. I think someone stole the photo on the wall because it was bare. The furniture has never changed since we’ve been coming and it shows. Very dirty couch and scratched up tables. The carpet was scary, we didn’t walk on it with our bare feet that’s how bad it was.
