Walk most places and local bus’s were plentiful as were tour bus’s at bottom of hill. Staff was fantastic and There is a mall just around the corner with a Pingo grocery store and clothing shops/fast food.. Last and certainly not least staff was excellent and attentive. Francisco at the front desk was a stand out, he went above and beyond and made our stay that much better.

this hotel was such a treat and I had a very comfortable stay with gorgeous amenities and views from the rooftop. You were greeted with Portuguese treats and Madeira wine in your room, slippers, and robes, which are always appreciated, and the breakfast had everything you needed (was obsessed with the glasses on the tables, so pretty!). All of the staff were super helpful, very friendly and attentive. I’m not even going to knock a star because who would do that for this reason, but I do wish they were adult hours or late night maybe from 8 to 10 adult hours for the indoor pool area. Their was a lovely spa and sauna, but there were a lot of children in the pool. The parking is also a little hard to get out of if you have a bigger car, but otherwise extremely convenient and just to be aware if you have a larger vehicle. I will be recommending this hotel as a wonderful stay and thank you so much for all your service to everyone on the staff!

It was a good stay and the hotel was nice. The food was good. Only issue we had was the number for the reception was no where to be found in the room so you’re not able to call down if you need anything. They clean the room well but forget to restock on toilet paper. Sadly because it’s just opened the spa doesn’t have a masseuse but the spa was great and loved the sauna.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night, and honestly, we were quite surprised that it is rated as a 5-star property. In our opinion, it feels more like a 3-star hotel rather than 5.

The room was very small, which we did not expect from a hotel of this category. We had read many positive comments about the breakfast, but in reality it was quite underwhelming. Aside from fresh fruit and kiwi, there was nothing particularly memorable or impressive.

Another detail that felt disappointing was the so-called “welcome drink.” At reception, you are given two cards to redeem for a drink, but in reality this turned out to be just a glass of juice. For a 5-star hotel, one would expect something more in line with the category — even a small glass of sparkling wine would feel more appropriate. This felt more symbolic than truly welcoming.

The spa schedule is also not very guest-friendly, as services only start at 10:00 AM, which makes it difficult to use them if you have an early departure. Parking is paid and costs €50 per day, which also feels excessive.

To be fair, the hotel is clean, and the furniture and interiors are new and modern. However, overall it does not meet our expectations for a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, we would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Highly recommend this hotel. A little bit further out from the port and centre but still walkable and easy to get transport. Pretty much next to a shopping centre. Easy to access. Excellent facilities including in room. Staff were welcoming, polite and accommodating. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful new hotel, everything spotless, stylishly furnished room with high ceilings and glass wall overlooking a large balcony and ocean view. Roof terrace is great for sunset. Friendly helpful staff, all speaking excellent English.

Mycket bra städning, rent och fräsch. Vänlig personal vid kontakt. Dock byttes inte lakan och handdukar på en hel vecka och ingen info om vad man skulle göra för byte. Särskilda handdukar för poolbesök kunde inte heller bytas. Inga krokar eller torkställning för att torka handdukar och baddräkt. Dåligt utrustat badrum, som i och för sig var väldigt fräscht med bra dusch och ventilation. Tops, balsam mm måste begäras i receptionen. Endast en kaffeplupp med vanligt kaffe i ett dubbelrum. Frukosten var ok. Sammanfattningsvis ett nytt och fräscht hotell men inget toppenläge. Såg visserligen havet över hustaken men huvudsaklig utsikt över stort fult tak till parkeringshus eller vad det nu var. Trevligt köpcentrum och flera bra restauranger i närheten.

可惜頂樓泳池邊的酒吧沒有常駐酒保，點單還要打電話到前台，不是很容易！
自助早餐還算豐盛，只是每天都一樣的菜色。

房務人員神出鬼沒，一天會整理好多次房間

Das Personal war stets höflich und zuvorkommend und war in jeder Situation in der Lage kompetent zu helfen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und schön eingerichtet. Mineralwasser wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt und ein Gruß des Hotels versüßte den Urlaubsbeginn.

Rien a redire, tout était parfait de la chambre au restaurant, au spa, hammam, sauna.
Le personnel est gentil, accueillant et souriant et au petit soin , vraiment au top!
En janvier le parking souterrain sera opérationnel ainsi que le soin massage.
A notre arrivée dans la chambre nous attendait une collation avec un bien de Madère de 10 ans d'âge vraiment excellent 😁.
Le petit déjeuner et variés puis présenté avec beaucoup de goût et de raffinement.
Nous y étions pour la semaine de Noël et même là le personnel ainsi que les cuisines ont assuré, repas divin, petit supplément pour l'accompagnement de vin 18€( par personne) aucun regret. Nous avions la chambre vue sur la mer, nous avons également loué une voiture pour se déplacer sans contrainte et voir ce que nous voulions. Je recommande vivement !

Located in the best area of Funchal, in the country side, a precious green hill west of Madeira's capital, with the sea in front (above Formosa beach). Next to the House starts a levada, a path alongside a small open waterline, conecting the green rural areas in the west with the city of Funchal.

From here you can walk down to the beach of Praia Formosa. The Hotel is a small Bed and Breakfast hotel on Funchal, Madeira island, with quality furnishings and lovely taste.The house was designed to take full advantage of the lovely and beautiful sunlight that passes in front of the house and over the swimmingpool from east to west.

The rooms and apartments face south and have a wide and deep view over the Atlantic ocean. Despite being close to Funchal it is also a nice and quiet area for the sleepless and the restless.
